Tecno unveiled the Pova 6 Pro at the MWC 2024 event in February. Now, the brand is all set to debut in India on March 29 and is confirmed to be sold via Amazon. The landing page of the phone, now available on the retailer platform, as well as the brand’s X profile, have revealed the key specifications of the smartphone ahead of its India launch.

The above poster released by the brand states that the Pova 6 Pro will be India’s first 6,000mAh battery phone to have support for 70W fast charging. It will have 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, and 256 GB of internal storage.

The company has also confirmed through its Pova Mobile account on X (formerly Twitter) that the Pova 6 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. It will have a dedicated space for an optical gaming experience.

According to the brand, the Pova 6 Pro supports charging at extremely low temperatures of -20°C, enabling efficient charging in severe conditions. It offers a 6-year durability, with the battery retaining 80 percent or more of its health after enduring 1600 or more charges. In addition, the device will have an IP53-rated chassis. With a couple of more days remaining for the launch, the company is expected to reveal a few more details about the Pova 6 Pro in the coming days.

The Pova 6 Pro is expected to be priced at around Rs 20,000 (~$240) in India. The other specs of the phone are no secret as it was already revealed during MWC 2024. The Pova 6 Pro has a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, dual stereo speakers, HiOS 14-based Android 14, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an LED lighting system on the back.

The Galaxy C series hasn’t been seen in Samsung’s lineup for seven years, but it looks set to make a comeback with the Galaxy C55. The smartphone has now surfaced on the Google Play Console listing suggesting specs similar to the Galaxy M55/F55. The phone likely won’t see a global launch and is intended for the Chinese market.

For performance, the Galaxy C55 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor – the same chip rumored for the Galaxy M55 and F55.

This mid-range chip was launched back in 2022 and offers four Cortex-A710 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz, and an Adreno 662 GPU. So it isn’t necessarily a performance-centric SoC. It should handle everyday tasks smoothly but may struggle with demanding games.

Apart from this, there’s not much detail revealed about the Galaxy C55. But the device has been popping up on certifications for a while. So we expect its launch could happen very soon. Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy M55 and Galaxy F55 smartphones for the global market soon.

In fact, Redmi has already announced the adoption of the new chip in one of its upcoming phones.

Speaking of the global version of this phone, the Poco F6, it is expected to be launched in April. Redmi’s product director and manager Wang Teng Thomas has previously said that their investment required to adopt the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip is significantly higher as compared to that of last year’s 7 series chip.

The predecessor Redmi Note 12 Turbo came with support for 67W charging, which makes the 90W charging of its alleged successor a significant upgrade. It also offered a 5000 mAh battery. This phone equipped the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip and was available in storage and memory configuration starting from 8GB+356GB all the way up to 16GB+1TB. Xiaomi Buds 5 was recently spotted on multiple certification sites hinting at an upcoming launch. After the FCC, SDPPI, SIRIM, and CMIIT certifications, the device has now emerged on Singapore’s IMDA and UAE’s TDRA certification.

Market by model number “M2319E1”, the certifications have the device listed as a “Short range devices/ Low Power Devices”. There is essentially nothing here that would reveal any hardware or features onboard the upcoming earbuds, however, it does reveal that the device is essentially greenlit to launch in Singapore and the UAE by respective authorities. After weeks of leaks, Xiaomi unveiled the Civi 4 Pro smartphone in China last week. Unlike its predecessor Civi models, the Civi 4 Pro promises top-notch performance as it features the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Starting today at 10 a.m. (local time), the device went on sale for the first time in China. Soon after it was made available for purchase, the company took to its Weibo handle to confirm that the sales of the Civi 4 Pro exceeded 200 percent of the entire day’s total of its previous generation, the Xiaomi Civi 3 from last year.

Leaked images that emerged yesterday revealed the rear design of the phone. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared what looks like an official render of the green variant of the device.

These modules house two camera units, while the third one accommodates dual-LED flash units. DCS claims that there is no camera bulge. The other leaked images (shown below) reveal that the GT Neo 6 SE’s screen has a slight curvature towards the left and right edges. It appears that, apart from green, the phone may also come in a black option.

The Realme GT Neo 6 SE will have a 6.78-inch screen. It is said to feature a BOE 8T LTPO panel that offers a resolution of up to 2780 x 1264 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits.

Under the hood, the GT Neo 6 SE will have the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset. It will have a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging. The leak also reveals that it has an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony camera as the primary snapper.

Other reports have revealed that the topmost variant of the GT Neo 6 SE may offer 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. At present, there is no information available about the auxiliary cameras on the device.

Motorola is getting ready to debut its Edge 50 series smartphones soon, beginning with the Indian model of the Edge 50 Pro. The brand is also working on a lower-midrange device as well, called the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. It has already emerged in leaks as well as on Geekbench, and now, Android Headlines has leaked what the Edge 50 Fusion will look like.

Android Headlines claims that Motorola will be launching the Edge 50 Fusion on April 3, which is the same date that the Edge 50 Pro will launch. The Edge 50 Fusion will be available in three color options: Ballad Blue, Peacock Pink, and Tidal Teal. All of these color options feature a textured back, but only the Ballad Blue color has a vegan leather finish.

Talking about the design of the device, it is revealed to feature a curved back with two large camera cutouts. The edges of the device are also curved, and so is the display. In the top center, it features a punch-hole for the camera.

The report further adds that the smartphone will have a 6.7-inch pOLED display, which will have Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which was also confirmed by the recent Geekbench listing. The phone will come with 8GB RAM and 2546GB storage. The internals will also include a 5,000mAh battery and 68W fast charging support.

For optics, the Edge 50 Fusion will reportedly have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, along with a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. The device is also said to feature IP68 water and dust resistance. The phone is expected to land at the $300 USD price point, or around Rs 25,000 in India. Since April 3rd isn’t that far away, we will likely start hearing more about the device soon.

Xiaomi, the Chinese electronics maker, is getting ready to accept orders for its first electric car, the SU7. The company aims for the SU7 to be the “best looking, easiest to drive and smartest car” at a price below 500,000 yuan ($69,424). There has been a lot of excitement for the SU7 since Xiaomi unveiled it in December. The company has a reputation for good value, and some consumers are worried a high price tag could hurt sales.

The company will start taking orders for the SU7 this Thursday

Xiaomi will officially announce the price range and start taking orders for the SU7 this Thursday. This is the first time Xiaomi has confirmed the upper limit of the price range. Xiaomi stores in China began displaying the car on Monday.

The SU7 will come in two versions with driving ranges of up to 668km and 800km on a single charge. Tesla’s Model S, for comparison, has a range of up to 650km.

This is part of Xiaomi’s plan to diversify beyond smartphones due to stagnant demand. Xiaomi is one of the few new players to gain approval from Chinese authorities for EV production. Its cars are being produced by a unit of state-owned automaker BAIC Group. A week or so ago, the factory that was manufacturing the SU7 EVs was unveiled, and it got fans excited again. Xiaomi has big shoes to fill, and if there first car turns out to be a big success, it could spell huge things for the company.
