Lenovo has finally revealed the launch date of its Tab M11 tablet in the Indian market after teasing it earlier this week. As per its Amazon microsite, the tablet will be launching on March 26, with sales starting from 11 AM onwards. This tablet first broke cover at CES 2024, which was held in January.

It is currently unclear how much this tablet will cost in India. At CES, it was announced with a price tag of US$179 for the starting configuration of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. The tablet comes in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration as well, which will likely be coming to India. Keep reading to know more about the tablet’s specifications.

Lenovo Tab M11 specs:

The Lenovo Tab M11 features an 11-inch IPS LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Heilo G88 chipset with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage via microSD.

Honor, the smartphone manufacturer, appears to be working on its next generation of number series smartphones. A handset named the Honor 200 Lite, carrying the model number LLY-NX1, has been certified by the TRDA (Telecommunications and Digital Regulatory Authority) in the United Arab Emirates. 

This listing confirms a few key insights. Firstly, it confirms that Honor’s upcoming series will be called the “Honor 200 Series” and not anything in between. Secondly, the lineup is also likely to have a “Lite” model this time around. 

The Honor 100 series, launched in China in November 2023, consisted only of standard and pro models. The Honor 200 Lite looks like a new addition to the lineup.

As of now, the TRDA certification doesn’t reveal any further specifications about the Honor 200 Lite. We’ll likely learn more about the device and the Honor 200 series in general in the future.

Honor 100 series Specifications

In the meantime, let’s quickly go over the features of the Honor 100 series. Both the Honor 100 and 100 Pro feature quad-curved OLED displays, but differ slightly in front camera design: the Honor 100 has a single punch-hole camera while the Pro has a pill-shaped dual-lens setup. Their rear camera modules are also distinct.

Both phones offer similar screen specs: 6.7-inch (Honor 100) or 6.78-inch (Honor 100 Pro) OLED panels with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh, and high brightness. Security is handled by an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Honor 100 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the 100 Pro is powered by the higher-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. 

Both phones feature a 50MP OIS-enabled main rear camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The Pro adds a 32MP telephoto camera for optical zoom. 

Moreover, both have 5,000mAh batteries with 100W fast charging, but only the Pro supports 66W wireless charging. Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and more.

Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro smartphone in China, with indications it may soon be available in India. In addition to the smartphone, there’s news of Xiaomi planning to release a new set of earbuds, which could be the Xiaomi Buds 5. These earbuds have been discovered (via TheTechOutlook) on several certification sites, including the FCC, under the model number M2341E1, hinting at an imminent launch.

The FCC listing provides some specifics about the Xiaomi Buds 5, revealing that they will operate in a frequency range of 2400 MHz to 2483.5 MHz and feature a PIFA antenna with an impedance of 50 Ohms. The listing reveals that the earbuds measure 17.18mm x 20.17mm x 30mm, while the case measures 53.2mm x 24.5mm x 53.93mm, with a total weight of 44.7g for both the earbuds and their case.

Xiaomi Buds 5 CMIIT Certification

Other than the FCC database, the Xiaomi Buds 5 has been sighted on other certification platforms such as SDPPI, SIRIM, and CMIIT, which hints at the possibility of an imminent global launch. While detailed features and specifications of the earbuds remain under wraps, we can take a look at the Xiaomi Buds 4 to get an idea of what to expect from the successor.

iQOO has announced its intentions to launch a new Z series smartphone in its home market of China in April. This new device belonging to the Z9 series will be equipped with a recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, which is essentially a cut-down version of the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. That being said, tipster DCS has revealed that the brand is also planning on debuting a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-clad mid-range device, which will likely belong to the iQOO Neo 10 series.

As per tipster DCS, this new smartphone, which is assumed to be either the iQOO Neo 10 or Neo 10 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The tipster claims that this new device will come with a 144Hz display 1.5K resolution display, using an 8T LTPO panel with flicker reduction technology.

DCS also claims that the device will feature a metal mid-frame, with a glass or vegan leather finish. While the Redmi K70 Pro featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor debuted for CNY 3,299 (~$456), the iQOO Neo 9, which features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor was launched for CNY 2,299 (~$318). The price is sure to increase with the flagship chip, but how much will likely be a key factor in deciding the phone’s popularity. A family’s harrowing ordeal in Mt. Hood National Forest in the US this week once again reminded us of the life-saving potential of Apple‘s Emergency SOS via satellite feature. The stranded hikers were located and rescued after a 24-hour operation initiated by a critical message sent through their iPhone. According to a press release from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the family found themselves in a precarious situation on Tuesday, March 19th. Having hiked a significant distance and gained considerable elevation, they became lost and unable to continue. One member of the group, comprised of four adults and two juveniles, managed to send an SOS message via satellite using their iPhone.

Ground crews managed to reach the hikers overnight

This message, received by emergency dispatchers around 7:30 pm, kickstarted the rescue effort. However, challenging weather conditions and difficult terrain hampered rescue teams’ initial attempts to reach the stranded family. Search and rescue personnel deployed all-terrain vehicles but were forced back by the elements.

Despite the setback, ground crews managed to reach the family early the next morning, finding them cold, wet, and dehydrated but thankfully unharmed. With their location confirmed, additional resources were called in, including a helicopter. Unfortunately, thick weather prevented a safe landing.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office’s snowcat came in clutch, and it reached the area shortly before 10:00 am. The snowcat, however, faced its own challenge – the treacherous terrain. It took several hours to navigate the route and reach the family, but by 7:30 pm that evening, the whole thing finally came to an end as the rescued group was transported back to safety.

iPhone’s Emergency SOS Feature also recently saved lost hikers in California. With the ability to send messages and share location data even without cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, the feature can be a lifesaver in critical situations. While Epic Games has been a vocal critic of Apple and Google’s app store commissions, the company will take a 12% commission from sales on its own mobile store.

The Kospet Tank T3 Ultra also comes with an IP69K rating and is water resistant to up to 5 ATM test pressure.

The Kospet Tank T3 Ultra can be used for swimming and the swimmer is benefited further with the deployment of the stroke count recognition feature. The smartwatch has a 470mAh battery with a runtime of up to 15 days on typical usage. The battery life reduces to 5 days when the AMOLED is always active. The Tank T3 supports Bluetooth calling and comes with heart rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure tracking. However, the accuracy of measurements (especially blood pressure) has not been established for the device.

The new sleek, lightweight, and all-terrain electric bikes are a reflection of Ampler’s manufacturing capabilities. The models come with a minimalist design and are simplistic commuter bikes. They also come with enhanced connected technology and premium components. The lightweight design of Ampler’s bikes translates to less bulky batteries and maintenance-free components.

The Ampler e-bike combines modern technology with a traditional bicycle design for easier and faster pedaling activity. The new bike is Ampler’s first non-purely e-bike for urban movement. The models include the Ampler Curt, and the Ampler Curt Anyroad available in either a diamond frame or a low-step frame. The Curt Anyroad has thicker tires, an advanced 10-speed drivetrain, and fork mounts. It can be used for both on-road and off-road adventures and bike-packing activities.

The Ampler Curt Low-Step and Curt Anyroad Low-Step are available in frame sizes S and M while the other models in the lineup are available in frame sizes XS to L. Other options are the Ampler Axel and Ampler Juna.

In terms of their weight, the Ampler bikes weigh between 14.5kg and 17kg – making them among the lightest urban e-bikes in the market. Qualcomm has not officially unveiled its new audio chip, Qualcomm S3 Gen 3, it is now known that the vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi will feature the S3 Gen 3 chip. Two different earphones will be introduced, namely vivo TWS 4 and vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi. However, only the Hi-Fi edition will feature the S3 Gen 3 chip, while the standard vivo TWS 4 comes with the Qualcomm S3 Gen 2 chip.

When Qualcomm introduced the S3 Gen 2, it significantly improved audio latency compared to the predecessor. While the audio latency was 80 ms in the S3 Gen 1, it was reduced to as low as 20 ms with a dongle in S3 Gen 2. It is expected that S3 Gen 3 will have even better latency rates.

The vivo TWS 4 is expected to have a total battery life of 45 hours, providing continuous playing time for up to 11 hours on a single charge. The features of the vivo TWS 4 Hi-Fi are currently uncertain, but we can expect its battery performance to be similar to the standard TWS 4 model.
