The OnePlus Nord N20 SE has officially received a new update. The company is rolling out an Android security patch update, which upgrades the security level to February 2024. So here is everything you need to know.

The Chinese smartphone maker is bringing the OxygenOS 14.0.0.310 version for the Nord N20 SE in the GLO region. This software update brings the February 2024 Android Security Patch. This enhances the security of the smartphone and also improves the system stability and performance. There are even some bug patches, which fix issues like the incoming calls alert not showing and call forwarding not working properly over the 4G network.

Back in January 2024, the OnePlus Nord N20 SE also received the OxygenOS 14.0.0.300 update that arrived with a bunch of major changes. This includes the Aquamorphic design, performance optimization, user care, and smart efficiency via File Dock. To check if you’ve received the update, head to System Settings > About Device > Software Update > Check for Updates. The OnePlus Nord N20 SE was first launched back in August 2022. It sports a 6.56-inch display that has an HD+ resolution and 269 PPI pixel density.

Under the hood, this budget smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC that is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. LOFIC stands for Lateral OverFlow Integration Capacitor, which was also talked about earlier by Honor’s mobile phone product manager Li Kun. Notably, LOFIC helps preserve details in the highlights and shadows better, resulting in a “800% improved” dynamic range. Most flagship smartphones these days already have great HDR-capable displays with a very high local peak brightness.

Preserving details on the highlights better will likely complement the whole photography experience. Notably, the new sensor can achieve an SLR-level ultra-high dynamic range of 15EV. The theoretical dynamic range of the sensor is reportedly comparable to the Sony Alpha a7S III.

Samsung is gearing up to reveal the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 soon. But ahead of any official announcement, the new tablet was spotted on an official support page and an Indonesian certification platform as well. So here are all the details.

The South Korean tech giant’s upcoming tablet visited the SDPPI database carrying the SM-P620 model number. This was for the WiFi only variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024. Just recently, the tablet was spotted on the TDRA, Bluetooth SIG, FCC, and UL certifications as well. The official support page of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 also went live in Hong Kong.

Unfortunately, both the new certification and support page do not reveal any finer details regarding this tablet except the SM-P620 model number for the WiFi only version. Based on our previous report, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) is expected to sport a 10.4-inch LCD panel that offers 2000 x 1200 pixel resolution with a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On the other hand, the rear packs an 8-megapixel shooter that lacks a flash.

Under the hood, the 2024 edition of the tablet is expected to be equipped with the Exynos 1280 SoC. This chipset will be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The memory could be further expanded via a microSD card slot. A large 7,040mAh battery pack may power this device, which could offer 15W wired fast charging. Motorola has been busy releasing new phones lately. Just this week, the company launched two new devices globally — the Moto G Power 5G (2024) and Moto G 5G (2024). But it seems like they’re preparing to unveil even more products soon.

Rumors have been circulating about Motorola’s upcoming Edge series devices. And now, a new Moto smartphone called the Moto G64y has popped up on the Google Play Console listing.

The listing confirms that the Moto G64y 5G will be powered by the MediaTek MT6855 or the Dimensity 7020 chipset. The processor is essentially a rebranded version of the MediaTek Dimensity 930, featuring two ARM Cortex-A78 cores and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores.

The listing further shows that the phone could be available in two memory options, 8GB and 12GB, and will ship with Android 13 out of the box. Additionally, the Moto G64y’s display features a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a pixel density of 400 PPI.

The smartphone’s image in the Google Play Console listing also shows a punch-hole camera cutout on the front. The volume and power buttons appear to be located on the right side of the device.

Apart from this, there’s not much we know about the Moto G64y 5G at this time. Now that it’s shown up on the Play Console, we can expect it to get certified by other regulatory bodies worldwide.

Huawei has officially teased the launch of two of its new consumer devices globally — the Huawei Band 9 fitness tracker and the FreeLace Pro 2 wireless neckband headphones. The company teased the products via a social media post, confirming an upcoming launch.

The Huawei Band 9 has previously been listed on Malaysia’s SIRIM and UAE’s TDRA databases with the model number KIM-B19. However, the listing doesn’t reveal any specific details of the tracker.

The Band 9 will debut as the successor to 2023’s Huawei Band 8. The teaser image reveals that the new tracker maintains the general design of previous models.

That is, it features a rounded rectangular display with 2.5D glass and a side button. According to Huawei, the Band 9 will bring a “new era in wrist fashion and sleep feature enhancements.” However, the company didn’t share details on what it exactly means.

Huawei FreeLace Pro 2

Huawei also teased an update to its neckband-style headphones, the FreeLace Pro 2. The original FreeLace Pro was launched in August 2020, making this a long-awaited update to the series.

Even after years, the FreeLace Pro 2 looks like will retain the design of its predecessor. The part of the bud revealed in the teaser is visually similar to that of the original FreeLace Pro.

The device is rumored to sport a tall 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display that offers a 165Hz refresh rate on the front. Meanwhile, the rear features a triple camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra wide angle lens, and a telephoto shooter with 6x optical zoom. The main camera also supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and laser autofocus.

Under the hood, the Edge 50 Pro may be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM. Microsoft and Square Enix are celebrating the imminent launch of Final Fantasy 14 on Xbox Series X/S with a custom console. The companies have partnered to make a custom Xbox Series X console, featuring a design inspired by the game.

The console is not available for sale, but fans have a chance to win it through a giveaway Xbox is hosting on Twitter.

Alongside the console, the winner will also receive a controller, Final Fantasy 14 Complete Collector’s Edition, and a year of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The giveaway coincides with the final week of the Final Fantasy 14 Xbox Series X/S open beta, which closes before the full release on March 21.

The open beta currently serves new players, allowing them access to the free trial version that encompasses the core campaigns of A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood – all with no playtime limits and a level 70 cap.

As can be seen in the above X post, Vivo has revealed the front and rear designs of the Vivo T3 5G, apart from confirming the launch date. On the front, the device features a punch-hole display, and its rear panel has a rectangular camera module, which seems to feature two cameras, a flicker sensor, and an LED flash.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo T3 5G will come equipped with dual speakers. The other details of the smartphone are yet to be confirmed. It is speculated that the device could be similar to the iQOO Z9 5G, which recently debuted in the country.

As per reports, the Vivo T3 5G will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen that produces a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature the Dimensity 7200 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of native storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging. The device will run on FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14.

The Vivo T3 is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX882, with OIS) + -2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera system on the back. It will have an under-display fingerprint sensor for security. It will be priced at around Rs 20,000 and sold in Crystal Flake and Cosmic Blue color options.

There’s not much time left for the OnePlus Ace 3V launch in China; it’s next week, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed. Leading up to the launch, the company is gradually teasing the specs of the device.

As previously revealed, It will be among the world’s first phones to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip. While OnePlus has also given a sneak peek of the device’s front design. In a new teaser, the company has now confirmed the RAM and storage details of the OnePlus Ace 3V.

The teaser shared on the company’s official Weibo account reveals that the smartphone will have up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage running the show alongside a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip.

Moreover, the teaser also mentions that the smartphone has received TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Rating A for its long-term system fluency. TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Rating is a globally recognized rating scale for gauging the effectiveness of the synergy between hardware and software in terms of smartphone fluency.

Additionally, OnePlus China President Lie Jie Louis shared in a separate post that the Ace 3V’s battery life is “extremely good”. The smartphone is rumored to have a 5500mAh cell and he mentioned that during his extensive usage, the phone’s battery performance even surpassed that of the OnePlus 12.

In terms of other specs, the Ace 3V is said to feature an OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Vivo launched the Vivo V30 Lite on the global market in December 2023. The brand recently unveiled the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro in multiple markets. It appears that the brand will soon introduce the new V30 series of smartphones. Yesterday, the upcoming Vivo V30e was spotted with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset on Geekbench. In a new development, according to a report by MySmartPrice, the Vivo V30 SE 5G has received approval from certification platforms, such as the FCC and UL Demko.

A new Vivo phone with model number V2349 has appeared in the database of the FCC certification platform. This device has already been spotted before with the Vivo V30 SE 5G moniker in the databases of the Google Play Supported Devices list and Bluetooth SIG.

As per the FCC certification, the Vivo V30 SE 5G will offer connectivity features, such as dual-band, Wi-Fi, 5G, and Bluetooth (5.0). It also reveals other details, such as that it has a BA48 model number battery and supports power adapters with model numbers V440L0A0-EU and V440L0A0-US.

The UL Demko certification reveals that it has a 4,900mAh (rated value) battery, which indicates it may have a typical size of 5,000mAh. In addition, it has also been found through the UL Demko certification that the above-mentioned charger supports 44W fast charging. The other details of the smartphone are yet to be revealed.

In related news, Vivo is gearing up to hold a launch event on March 26 in China. It is likely to see the arrival of multiple devices, such as the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro foldable phones, along with the Vivo Pad 3 tablet. Realme confirms that the realme GT Neo6 SE will equip the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip

Realme is gearing up to release the realme GT Neo6 and GT Neo6 SE to the Chinese market. The Neo6 and Neo6 SE were previously expected to offer the Snapdragon 8d Gen 3 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 respectively. Now Realme has officially confirmed that the realme GT Neo6 SE will indeed be the first to equip the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 (SM7675) equips a core cluster of 1 x 2.9 GHz Cortex-X4 + 4 x 2.6GHz Cortex-A720 + 3 + 1.9GHz Cortex-A520. For graphics, it equips the Adreno 732 GPU. This mid-range chip is noted as a “major upgrade” by renowned tipster Digital Chat Station. This chip reportedly inherits the architecture of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that most of the current flagships are running on.

Aside from this possibly power efficient and decently capable Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, the upcoming realme GT Neo6 SE has some other notable aspects too. Tipster DCS says that this phone will offer a 1.5K OLED that also supports LTPO (low-temperature polycrystalline oxide) technology. He highlights that not many devices in its range offer an LTPO panel. For power, it is expected to come with a 5,500mAh battery and a 100W charging support.

To give you an idea of the upgrade over its predecessor, the realme GT Neo5 SE, was launched in early April last year with the predecessor of Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip with a 6.74-inch 1240 x 2772 resolution OLED display. It offered the same 5,500mAh capacity battery +100W charging combination. Notably, this device was around 2000 Yuan in China (~$278).

Infinix could soon launch its upcoming mid-range smartphone, the GT 20 Pro in India as it has been spotted on the BIS certification website carrying the model number X6871.

As usual, the listing doesn’t reveal any hardware or software specifications of the handset but certainly hints at the arrival of the Infinix GT 20 Pro in India.

The smartphone with the same model number has also been spotted on other certification sites, namely SDPPI, EEC, Wi-Fi Alliance, and TUV. From the TUV listing, it has been revealed that the device is powered by a 4900mAh cell which Infinix might round up to market as 5000mAh.

The major details come from its recent sighting in Geekbench which revealed that the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Its predecessor, the GT 10 Pro, features a Dimensity 8050 SoC, so this is a modest upgrade in terms of performance. The Geekbench platform further reveals that the device will have 12GB of RAM. However, it is also expected to arrive in an 8GB RAM variant. For storage, there is a rumor of a sole 256GB model.

Moreover, the smartphone is found running the latest Android 14. Infinix launched GT 10 Pro with a near-stock Android experience in India. Hence, there is a possibility that the GT 20 Pro may also offer a similar experience in some markets.

Besides this, there’s not much we know about the Infinix GT 20 Pro as of now. We will keep you updated on any new information as it becomes available.

In related news, Infinix is preparing to launch Note 40 series smartphones on March 18. The smartphones are said to be powered by the company’s self-developed Cheetah X1 chip and will also feature 100W charging, the fastest in an Infinix phone yet.
