Baseus AirGo AG20 TWS launched with a 16.2mm Driver for 259 Yuan (~$36)

Baseus remained quite busy this year, with back-to-back launches of new accessories like docking stations, earbuds, and many others. Following the trend, the company seems to be ending the year with the launch of new Baseus AirGo AG20 TWS earbuds. The new True Wireless Earbuds feature a large 16.2 Sound Driver and offer up to 26 hours of large battery life. The AirGo AG20 earbuds are retailing for 259 Yuan which translates to ($36).

Baseus AirGO AG20 Specifications and Features

Baseus AirGO AG20 TWS earbuds come with a low-frequency enhancement algorithm for better surround sound and more pleasing bass. It is best for gaming as it bundles the Baseus DCLL, Dual-Channel Low Latency algorithm, which makes latency as low as 0.06 seconds. Further, it packs Bluetooth Version 5.3, which makes the earbuds more power-efficient and adds reliable connectivity. Baseus Smart Dual Connect, aka BSC, makes it connect to two devices simultaneously with easy switching. It supports noise cancellation using two different microphones present on each bud.

The earbuds’ design makes them easy to wear for better comfortability and stability. It is built with ABS, Polycarbonate, and Silica Gel. It bundles a titanium alloy steel wire covered with silicone, which makes the earbuds adaptive to different ear shapes and sizes.

The new earbuds can withstand 6 hours of continuous playback with at least 50% volume, and with the charging case, they can offer playback of up to 26 hours. However, it takes a couple of hours to fully charge the case via the USB Type-C port. Each earbud consists of a 90mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 1000mAh battery capacity.

Baseus AirGO TWS’s non-slippery texture makes it more commute-friendly. The users can use it while cycling, trekking, walking, or during their daily commute.

Additionally, Baseus introduced Baseus M3 Earbuds and AeQur G10 earbuds with dual-mode connectivity, aka BSC. A GaN folding charger was also introduced earlier this year at an affordable price. There are plenty of other devices launched this year by the company to enhance its position in different market segments.

Apple MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) for AirPods Pro (2nd generation) on sale at $99

During its yearly autumn event, Apple debuted an updated version of the AirPods Pro 2 with the most anticipated USB Type-C port, now available at $199.99 on Amazon.

The primary distinction between the upgraded AirPods Pro 2 earphones and their predecessors seems to be “lossless audio with ultra-low latency.” However, this capability appeared to be connected to the company’s Vision Pro headset.

The tech brand also promoted the new AirPods Pro 2’s compatibility for USB Type-C charging, which sets them apart from their predecessor’s Lightning design. At first, the only option for adding USB Type-C charging to an already-owned pair of AirPods Pro 2 was buying a new earphone set.

Now, the company has taken nearly three months to release its revised charging case, which is available for purchase in certain regions.

To facilitate speedy case position identification, the U1 chip with Precision Finding is included inside the MagSafe Charging Case (USB-C) for AirPods Pro (2nd generation).

Moreover, you may use the built-in speaker to play music if you’re close by but still can’t find it. Your case may be kept close at hand by attaching a lanyard loop to a handbag or backpack.

Although this is a far lower IP rating than Apple’s current iPhones, the new charging cover also has IP54 dust, sweat, and water protection, meaning it is made to withstand the elements.

Using a MagSafe charger or an Apple Watch, you may charge the MagSafe Charging Case. Additionally, a Qi-certified charger or a USB-C connection are other options.

Apple’s USB Type-C charging case costs 99 USD. Put another way, the charging case alone costs almost 40% more than a brand-new pair of AirPods Pro 2, making it a costly upgrade for current users.

Samsung Exynos 2400 outperforms the Apple A17 Pro: Tipster

Samsung is expected to equip its next generation of flagship smartphones with the Exynos 2400 SoC. The chipset is the company’s latest high end processor, and now, a tipster is claiming that it could surpass the iPhone 15 Pro Max‘s Apple A17 Pro chip.

Samsung Exynos 2400’s GPU may be faster than the Apple A17 Pro

The information arrives from known tipster Revegnus on X (formerly Twitter). In the tweet, a short summary of the Exynos 2400 SoC was shared. Here, he stated that the upcoming Samsung chipset features a GPU that was co-designed with AMD, which is capable of outperforming the GPU performance of the Apple A17 Pro. To recall, the A17 Pro is the 3nm chipset that powers the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which managed to score over 590,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmarking platform‘s graphics test thanks to its 6-core GPU.

In other words, the Exynos 2400 could potentially surpass this score. Revegnus further adds that the Exynos 2400 will be based on Samsung’s enhanced 4nm process and not the 3nm process. The company is sticking to the 4nm node over increased yields and improved performance as it has more “expertise” in this process. The Exynos 2400 will also have the first application of FOWLP, which basically implies reduced chip thickness and improved heat dissipation.

During the recent SLSI Tech Day event, Samsung unveiled certain key details regarding the upcoming Exynos 2400. The brand claims that the processor will offer 70 percent faster CPU performance along with 14.7 times faster AI processing speeds when compared to the Exynos 2200. For those unaware, the Galaxy S24 lineup will launch in both the Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon variants. So depending on the market, buyers receive the Exynos 2400 variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 version of the smartphones. In related news, the Exynos 2400 was recently spotted on GeekBench, running on the Galaxy S24+ model.
