Samsung is preparing to launch several new affordable smartphones to recapture its lost territory in the same segment across some markets, such as the Middle East. The company is already working on the Galaxy A15 5G and 5G variants and is also aligned to launch its flagship earlier next year. Amid all this, the Galaxy A25 5G battery has surfaced on Safety Korea’s Certification Website.

The battery with model code EB-BA256ABS appeared on the website along with its photo but sans any details like capacity, power rating, etc. However, these certifications ensure the upcoming launch of the device. The new smartphone also appeared on Singapore’s IMDA, which confirmed support for NFC. It even bagged TUV Rheinland and GCF certification a few weeks ago.

Thanks to leaked renders, which depicted the design of the design its official support page also went live a few days ago. Concluding from all these leaks, and rumors, the Galaxy A25 5G is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has 1000 nits of peak brightness. It is rumored to feature Exynos 1280 Octa-Core SoC built on a 5nm process and coupled with Mali-G68GPU.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Specifications (Rumored)

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G seems to debut in two different storage variants – 6GB RAM + 12GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. It is expected to offer up to 1TB expandable storage option via micro SD card.

It is expected to feature a triple rear camera sensor with a 50MP primary sensor offering Optical Image Stabilisation support. There’s also an 8MP ultra wide angle lens along with a 2MP macro camera. There’s a 13 MP front camera for selfies and videos. Samsung Galaxy A25 5G could come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and much more.

It is expected to launch by the end of this month or early next month.

The smartphone today has surfaced on multiple certifications, including the Bluetooth SIG, Singapore’s IMDA, and Thailand’s NBTC. All the certifications confirm its imminent launch. Further, the Samsung Galaxy A15 5G smartphone appeared on the IMDA confirming NFC support. It’s appearance on NBTC with model code SM-A156E also confirms the the upcoming launch in Thailand. These multiple certifications hint towards the official announcement in the next few days.

Samsung Galaxy A15 5G Specifications (Leaked)

The smartphone however, already appeared on Walmart confirming most of the specifications. It is listed depicting the presence of 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, a 13MP front camera, and a 50MP primary rear sensor. The 5G variant is powered with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. It bundles a 5000 mAh battery and measures 6.30 x 3.00 x 0.33inches in size.

The 4GB + 128GB storage variant is listed for the price of $139 which roughly translates to Rs 11,600. It is only available in Blue Black color option.

As per leaks, the smartphone primary-rear sensor is accompanied with a 5MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

There might be slight change in the SoC for the Galaxy A15 4G variant.

Nothing is the newest brand in the global consumer tech space. However, the company has already made a name for itself with impressive products.

So far, the firm has released only two handsets, namely Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2. According to a leak, the brand may launch its third smartphone soon, however, it might not be the successor of its last phone.

As per X user @saaaanjjjuuu, Nothing is working on a handset with model number AIN142. This device is said to be released under the name of Nothing Phone 2a.

He has also shared some of the features of the product. The device will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display.

The screen will have a centered punch-hole for the selfie camera. Lastly, the rear image of the smartphone suggests that it will also come with the ‘Glyph Interface’ LED lights.

Unfortunately, the source of this leak does not have a track record of reliable leaks. Thus, we advise readers to consider this piece of information with a pinch of salt.

Nothing is tipped to launch its third-gen earbuds dubbed Nothing Ear (3) in January. So far, there has not been any other leak apart from this one regarding a new handset.

If Nothing is indeed planning to release such a smartphone, we can expect it to be a mid-ranger like the original Nothing Phone (1). It could be positioned below the Nothing Phone (2) as an affordable entry into the Nothing ecosystem.

Xiaomi is set to launch the highly anticipated Redmi K70 series tomorrow in China. But it appears that another hyped series could soon be making its return as well. The device in question is the Xiaomi Civi 4, which recently got a key spec tipped. So let’s have a look.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Specs

Back in September, the Chinese tech giant’s Civi 4 model was spotted on the IMEI database. This listing revealed the 24031PN0DC model number and hinted at its launch timeframe. The company could announce the Xiaomi Civi 4 in March 2024. Unfortunately, finer details regarding this device are still unclear, although a tipster recently hinted at one of its key specifications.

Tipster Anvin on X (formerly Twitter) shared that he believes the Civi 4 model could be launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC. This doesn’t seem too far fetched considering the predecessor, the Civi 3, launched with the Dimensity 8200 Ultra. iQOO Specifications

The smartphone is launched with a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display while having 144 HZ refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The display offers 2160PWM DC dimming and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers it, and Android 14 is pre-installed. It would be the first smartphone in India to launch with in-box Android 14.

Further, it will have a triple-rear camera sensor with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x Zoom. There’s a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies.

The smartphone is launched in three color options: Burning Way, Legend Edition, and Track Version. It would be interesting to see the pricing details for India, as it launched at a starting price of 3,999 yuan in China, which roughly translates to Rs 45,000.

Earlier today (29th November 2023), the unique design of the iQOO Neo 9 series was teased ahead of its December launch. Now, a fresh certification sighting has revealed some details regarding the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 Pro.

iQOO Neo 9 Pro visits 3C

For those unaware, iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 9 lineup will launch in the brand’s home market of China next month. As the name suggests, the Neo 9 is the direct successor to the Neo 8 series that was launched previously. But ahead of the official announcement, the Neo 9 Pro model surfaced on the 3C certification. The device was spotted carrying the V2339A model number.

The online listing also revealed the supported chargers (V12060L0A0-CN and V12060L1A0-CN). Both of these models are capable of delivering up to 120W fast charging. Looking at the recent teaser, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro will come with a dual tone color design, featuring a white stripe on its red back panel. Huawei is back in action following the launch of the Mate 60 series powered by its in-house HiSilicon Kirin 9000s chip. Rumors say that the company is also working on the P70 series for 2024.

Not much is known about these smartphones. But thanks to a reliable source, we have now learned the camera sensor and the type of lens that will be used on the most premium model.

Just like the Huawei P60 series, the Huawei P70 series is expected to comprise three devices. These handsets will officially go by Huawei P70, Huawei P70 Pro, and Huawei P70 Art.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the P70 Art, the top-end model in the lineup, will feature a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. Most importantly, this camera sensor will be paired with a 1G6P glass-plastic hybrid lens.

The only other smartphone on the market with this type of lens (1G3P) is the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The device uses the said lens for its tetraprism zoom camera.

Glass-plastic hybrid lenses are more deformation-resistant and offer better optical performance. Largan and Sunny Optical are the leading manufacturers of this type of lens.

The 1G6P lens that Huawei will utilize costs around $12 at the prototype stage. However, the cost is forecasted to lower down to $6-7 in mass production with an improvement in yield rates.

Other smartphone brands are anticipated to follow the trend of using glass-plastic hybrid lenses with a wider adoption by Apple and Huawei.

The Huawei P70 series is rumored to launch in March 2024, followed by Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Vivo X100 Ultra in April.

The DC dimming will help users enhance comfort during prolonged use.

As even teased officially by OnePlus, the display will offer 4500 nits maximum brightness. However, as per the DCS, the display only reaches up to 1722 nits upon testing. It seems there could be a specific “Sunlight” algorithm on the OnePlus 12 that will help users with comfortable use under the sun while keeping efficiency intact. The Oppo’s Display P1 chip and the precise pixel-level calibration algorithm help to improve the quality, brightness, and efficiency of the display.

It would be the top-notch quality display in the 2K segment in China, which has even secured DisplayMate A+ certification.

Apart from the Display Specifications, the OnePlus officially teased its Camera features. OnePlus 12 will incorporate a triple-rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, a 64MP OmniVision periscope lens, and a 48MP Spny IMX581 ultra-wide lens. It will have the same 13-channel multi-spectral sensor present on the OnePlus 11.

In India, the official support page for the device had gone live. The design of the Galaxy A25 5G was also revealed thanks to leaked renders. OnePlus 12, which was supposed to launch on December 4th will now be launching on December 5th instead in China. That being said, reputable tipster Max Jambor has leaked the global launch date of the smartphone.

As per a recent tweet by Max, the OnePlus 12 will be launching in the global market starting in India on January 23rd. Interestingly, the tipster mentions the OnePlus 12 series, hinting at the possibility that the OnePlus 12R might also tag along with the flagship. This comes after an earlier report leaked the global launch date of the OnePlus 12 series.

Moving on, the brand has put out a new teaser revealing key details about the display of the OnePlus 12. The X1 “Oriental Screen” onboard the device, which is jointly created by OnePlus and BOE will feature a mind-blowing 4500nit peak brightness. Currently, the industry standard for flagship phones is around 2,600 nits, which is actually quite bright in its own right. However, with the 4500nits brightness, we don’t think there will be any issues with screen visibility even in outdoor conditions.

According to Vivo, the Blue Heart AI model comprises a range of five models with varying parameter levels—billions, tens of billions, and hundreds of billions.

These models typically have billions of parameters, compared to smaller models that may only have millions of parameters. The company rolled out the below teasers to confirm the battery size and charging capabilities of the GT 5 Pro. In addition, a snapshot of what appears to be from the Tmall Chinese retailer app is now doing the rounds on Weibo. The image has revealed the alleged starting price of the device.
