Nissan is making a significant move towards electrifying its vehicle lineup, with a major focus on updating popular models like the Juke and Qashqai, alongside the next generation of the Leaf. This transformation is taking place at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK, a key hub for its electric vehicle (EV) production. What’s intriguing about this plan is the infusion of up to £3 billion (about $3.75 billion) into this project, indicating Nissan’s commitment to electric mobility.
The EV36Zero Microgrid will supply 100% renewable electricity for the production
A unique aspect of this development is the inspiration Nissan is drawing from its ‘Hyper’ series of concept cars. These concepts, showcased at the Japan Mobility Show, are set to shape the design of the new electric versions of the Juke and Qashqai. The Hyper Urban Concept will influence the Qashqai EV, and the Hyper Punk Concept will guide the design of the Juke EV. This approach signifies a fusion of cutting-edge design with practical EV technology.
The investment will also boost the production capacity and infrastructure at the Sunderland plant. This includes the establishment of three battery gigafactories in partnership with Envision AESC, highlighting the importance of sustainable and efficient battery production in the EV ecosystem.
Another key aspect of Nissan’s plan is its commitment to renewable energy. The EV36Zero Microgrid will supply 100% renewable electricity for the production of these EVs and their batteries, showcasing Nissan’s dedication to eco-friendly manufacturing processes.
In recent news, Harley-Davidson has sold its e-bike brand, Serial 1, to Florida-based LEV Manufacturing. This move marks a big change/heading for the iconic motorcycle brand, reflecting the growing interest in electric mobility solutions.
The brand’s second-generation electric bikes all have Google Cloud integration
Serial 1, launched in 2020 amidst the pandemic, started as a small project under Harley-Davidson’s wing in Milwaukee. The brand gained attention for its innovative electric bikes like the Switch/MTB, Bash/MTN, and the second-generation models integrated with Google Cloud. This transition in ownership to LEV Manufacturing, a company known for its lightweight electric vehicles, opens new possibilities for the e-bike brand.
One key aspect of this deal is the potential reshoring of Serial 1’s production to the United States. LEV Manufacturing’s plans to localize manufacturing could lead to more efficient supply chains, potentially lowering retail prices and speeding up delivery times. This shift not only promises better accessibility and service for customers but also indicates a positive impact on the U.S. economy through job creation and local manufacturing.
LEV Manufacturing’s acquisition is seen as a strategic alignment of American branding and manufacturing excellence. The company aims to bolster the premium appeal of Serial 1 while making these e-bikes more attainable for a broader consumer base. This could significantly boost the e-bike market, especially in the U.S., where demand for eco-friendly and efficient transportation solutions is on the rise.

Owning an iPhone at an affordable price is undoubtedly a shared dream for many of us. Fortunately, Apple has been making this dream a reality for some time now. Instead of spending 50,000 TL on an iPhone 15, you can opt for the 3rd generation iPhone SE, which costs 25,000 TL and features the same processor as the iPhone 14. However, reports indicate that users are hesitant to buy this phone due to its “outdated” design. Apple aims to address this issue in the upcoming budget-friendly iPhone SE 4 model. A recent concept video has emerged, providing us with a glimpse of the much-anticipated phone’s potential appearance. Here are the details…
iPhone SE 4, The Budget-Friendly Smartphone with a Fresh Design and 48-Megapixel Camera
We’ve heard numerous claims and leaks about the budget-friendly iPhone SE 4 so far. Therefore, we know that the phone will have a notched design similar to the iPhone 14. This means no more Touch ID button or thick bezels. Additionally, drawing inspiration from the iPhone 15 series, the phone will also support innovations like the “Action Button” and a USB-C port. Finally, a designer named 4RMD has combined all this information to create a profile for the phone.
As seen in the video above, the new affordable iPhone SE 4 model will be a truly modern phone in every sense of the word. The only downside is that it will feature a single camera on the back this time. This sensor, claimed to be 48 megapixels, will be capable of recording 4K videos, as clearly shown in the concept.
In the concept video, the phone is equipped with a 6.1-inch OLED screen and a 3240 mAh battery. Of course, the actual specifications may vary a bit. It’s possible that a higher battery capacity or an LCD screen could be chosen instead of OLED. The current SE 3 model, for comparison, has a 2018 mAh battery capacity.
The budget-friendly iPhone SE 4 will likely come with a 4nm A16 Bionic processor, as shown in the video. This implies that it will offer performance similar to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. However, since users may not necessarily need this level of speed, the choice between A16 and A15 processors may not significantly impact the overall result.
As per a recent report, Samsung is expected to launch its next-generation Galaxy S24 series on January 17, 2024. The report also spilled the beans on the pre-order and sale date details of the upcoming flagships. Leaks and rumors have revealed a host of information of the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. Now, way ahead of its official debut, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has emerged in leaked live images. It gives us a clear glimpse at the device.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra spotted in live images
The leaked live images of the Galaxy S24 Ultra corroborate the previously leaked renders of the smartphone. The phone appears to look quite big in hands with a wider aspect ratio. The device is seen in a Greyish color option. It has a boxy design with power and volume rocker buttons on the right side. Notably, the images also confirm the presence of UWB Antenna. The back panel has three vertically stacked camera sensors along with an additional sensor and a fifth component with an LED flash unit sandwiched between them.
Meanwhile, on the front, we could spot a tiny centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. The images also reveal a flat display. However, it’s not entirely flat as reliable tipster Onleaks had shared comparison between the S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra revealing that the upcoming offering is less curved compared to its predecessor. A closer look at one of the images also reveals the S-pen protruding out of the phone’s slot. However, this may not be the case in the final retail unit.
Previously, it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will retain the same 6.8-inch display as its predecessor. But it will have a reduced bezel size resulting in the narrowest bezel on all sides of the smartphone.

The OnePlus 12 is the next flagship grade smartphone from the company, which is expected to launch soon. The device is a highly anticipated device with various rumors and leaks going around. But now, the retail box of the handset was leaked ahead of its official release.
OnePlus 12 retail box looks similar to the OnePlus 11
The leak arrives from a tipster who shared an image on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). In the online post, the retail box of the OnePlus 12 can be seen in full view. Looking at this image, we can see that the packaging box retains the iconic red color hue. A large “12” can also be seen, which makes it appear quite similar to the retail box of the OnePlus 11.
For those unaware, the predecessor also featured a similar box but with the “11” branding. It is worth noting that this is still just an unconfirmed leak so take this picture with a pinch of salt for now. Just recently, the three color options of OnePlus 12 were revealed, with a special variant possibly featuring a wooden texture on the back.
The premium handset is rumored to launch across the globe in January 2024, with the 12R model possibly tagging along. As of right now, pre-orders for the device are already live via JD.com in China with its release date in the region set for 4th December 2023. Vivo is apparently working on a new pair of affordable truly wireless earbuds. The hearables in question are the Vivo TWS 3e, which could be nearing its global release. It was spotted on another certification platform earlier this week, so here are all the details.
Vivo TWS 3e surfaces on SIRIM
The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming TWS 3e was first spotted on the Indonesian certification platform, SDPPI. Now, the earbuds were spotted on Malaysia’s SIRIM database. Looking at the online listing, the Vivo TWS 3e can be seen carrying the model number XE W30. On the other hand, the SDPPI certification listed it with the CAR W30 model number.
Although, both certification sightings basically hint that the device could be launching in the global market soon. These are likely the same device as well and the model numbers are likely different due to the regions. As the name suggests, it is also the direct successor to the Vivo TWS 2e model. So we can expect improvements over its predecessor. For those unaware, the TWS 2e launched with 12.2mm bass drivers, DeepX 2.0 Stereo Sound effects, Google Fast Pair, and more.
It offered dual mic noise cancellation and allowed for multipoint connection via Bluetooth 5.2. The earbuds can run for up to 7.6 hours on a single full charge, with the charging case bumping up the audio playback to 30 hours. So stick around for more, as we will be providing updates when additional information is available regarding these wireless earphones.
During the recent press conference of the Luxeed S7, Huawei’s CEO, Yu Chengdong, proudly introduced its autonomous parking feature. The accompanying six-minute video showcased two significant aspects: valet parking and one-click summoning.
CEO Yu Chengdong demonstrates impressive autonomy capabilities of the system
The valet parking function allows the driver to confidently exit the vehicle as it autonomously navigates to the designated parking space. The vehicle’s autonomous behavior include following the road, activating turn signals, and responding dynamically to pedestrians and other vehicles by either slowing down or braking.
Notably, the autonomous vehicle operates at a considerable speed, reaching up to 20 km/h in favorable road conditions. It adeptly handles complex maneuvers, smoothly navigating multi-curves with ease. In narrow sections, encountering oncoming traffic prompts the vehicle to proactively reverse. It showcases the level of sophistication and safety of the system.
Upon reaching the designated parking space, the vehicle autonomously completes the parking process. The valet parking feature makes sense because it not only matches but exceeds the efficiency of many human drivers.
Additionally, the one-click recall feature allows users to remotely summon their vehicle with a simple command via a mobile phone. The car responds by activating its driving function, autonomously navigating to the summoner’s location. The parking lot shown in the video isn’t really easy to navigate. It demonstrated the flexibility and the ability of the system to navigate through diverse road conditions, including narrow spaces.
Apple reportedly experimented with a dark ceramic back for the Apple Watch Ultra, according to documents filed with the United States Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The documents, spotted by @ParrotSWD on X/Twitter, suggest that Apple may have initially considered a darker color option for the smartwatch before ultimately settling on the current titanium finish.
The FCC documents, which were part of Apple’s application for the Apple Watch Ultra prior to its release in September 2022, include images of a prototype with a dark ceramic back that closely resembles the ceramic back found on the Apple Watch Series models.
The prototype also features a plastic-looking Action button with no indent, a design element that differs from the final release of the Apple Watch Ultra.
As per MacRumors, it’s likely that the confidentiality clause associated with the FCC filings for the Apple Watch Ultra has recently expired, allowing the images of the dark ceramic prototype to surface now.
Apple currently offers the Apple Watch Ultra 2, released in September 2023, in the same natural titanium color as the first-generation model. While rumors prior to the launch of the Apple Watch Ultra 2 suggested that Apple might introduce a darker color option, this did not materialize.

The Q1 chip basically enables the iQOO 12 to run games at up to 144fps, which improves the gameplay experience. Higher frames in games imply smoother performance with lower latency. This is key in intense online multiplayer games. The device is set to be unveiled on 12th December 2023. Just recently, the company had shared another teaser where it confirmed that the upcoming device will run on Android 14 OS based FunTouch OS custom skin out of the box.
The iQOO 12 will sport a tall 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers 144Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution on the front. Meanwhile, the rear features a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.
