The Honda i-M and i-M1 e trademarks have been obtained in India. This indicates that Honda may be planning on releasing the two new electric scooters specifically for the Indian market. The electric scooter market in India is dominated by startups and Honda’s imminent entry could be significant. It also points to the fact that more and more mainstream brands are also throwing their hats into the ring.
Honda could be the first Japanese bike maker to enter the Indian e-scooter space. The Honda i-M and i-M1 e have been confirmed to launch in 2024. The models are most likely to be launched under the Activa brand and the two new trademark filings point to the two e-scooters. Both trademark applications were filed on June 13, 2023, and come with a general description of the product. Honda 2W India will likely develop a new platform for the electric scooters, which is codenamed Platform E. The platform will accommodate both fixed and swappable battery setups. One of the scooters will have a fixed-battery design while the other will support battery swapping.
The models may be specifically designed for different purposes. The fixed-battery model will likely be used as a personal vehicle while the swappable-battery model will be used as a commercial vehicle. The models are expected to come with a few exciting features and a decent range to excite the Indian market.
As usual, the models will reflect a high degree of localization for minimal price considerations. They will also carry the reliability and safety seal of the Honda brand. These models are likely to be manufactured at Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India’s new manufacturing facility in Narasapura, Karnataka. However, there are no guarantees that the trademarks will transit into production models.
As Google gears up to unveil its second-generation Pixel Watch on October 4, alongside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, there’s more to the story than just the watch itself. While Google has remained tight-lipped about most of the changes between the original Pixel Watch and the Pixel Watch 2, recent revelations shed light on potential accessories that could accompany the new wearable.
One notable accessory is the Milanese strap, which Google initially showcased last year but never officially released. This sleek and stylish watch band may finally see the light of day, though its pricing remains a mystery. Google had originally listed it for $129.99, offering users a premium option to complement their smartwatches.
Pixel Watch 2 Milanese strapPixel Watch 2 Metal Slim band
Another accessory making waves is the Metal Slim band, which was mentioned in documents from the FCC last month in relation to the Pixel Watch 2. While details about its cost are still under wraps, it’s worth noting that Google priced its first-generation metal watch bands at $199.99, indicating that it might offer another premium option for users looking to personalize their devices.
Pixel Watch 2 specs & features
As per previous leaks, the upcoming Pixel Watch 2 from Google is said to feature a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, offering better performance and increased power efficiency compared to its predecessor. This change hints at improved battery life, even with a modest 4% increase in battery capacity, now at 306mAh.
While the original Pixel Watch faced criticism for its chunky bezels, the Pixel Watch 2 will maintain a 1.2-inch OLED panel with a 384 x 384 resolution. However, the display is now supplied by Samsung, potentially enabling battery-saving features and enhanced brightness.
Running on Wear OS 4 based on Android 13, the Pixel Watch 2 promises seamless updates, a first for smartwatches. Updates will occur in the background and activate once the device is rebooted, although this may occupy more storage.
One standout feature is the addition of Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology via an NXP SR100T UWB module. UWB is useful for precise device-finding, aiding users in locating misplaced gadgets. It also enables the Pixel Watch 2 to function as a Digital Car key, compatible with several major automobile brands.

Recently, it was confirmed the Redmi Note 13 Pro will be the first smartphone to be powered by the newly launched Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. The handset is launching on September 21 alongside its Pro+ and vanilla siblings. While there’s time for the launch, we now see it’s benchmarking scores on the Geekbench website. Here are the details.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro has been listed on the Geekbench website with the model number 2312CRAD3C. The listing shows the smartphone running the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is Qualcomm’s newest mid-range chipset. It has eight CPU cores split equally into efficiency and performance clusters. The chipset matches the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 in performance but lacks the performance core found in the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2.
Geekbench confirms Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 gets an Adreno 710 GPU, something Qualcomm didn’t reveal officially. With the new Qualcomm chipset under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro managed to achieve 1,012 single-core and 2,943 multi-score points. Notably, the chipset’s performance is not lagging far behind that of the Dimensity 7200 inside the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The MediaTek chipset managed to receive 1,122 and 2,636 points in single and multi-core tests.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro model listed on Geekbench gets 16GB of RAM and runs Android 13. Redmi has previously confirmed the smartphone features a flat AMOLED display with a 5,000mAh battery and 67W fast charging. The handset may feature a 200MP shooter on the rear but misses on optical image stabilization (OIS).

This design streamlines the operation of the hood, making cooking more convenient. It also boasts a powerful suction capacity of 22m³/min and a wind pressure of 900Pa, paired with a 5.2kW firepower, making it versatile for various cooking needs.
The stove features magnetic control intelligent operation knob. Moreover, the stove incorporates a DC variable frequency motor, ensuring quieter operation with noise levels as low as 53dB. This makes it an ideal choice for households where noise sensitivity is a concern.
For precise cooking control, the stove features a smart temperature sensor and a precision control proportional valve. When paired with the Mi Home App, users can access a library of 50 intelligent stove recipes. These recipes facilitate optimal firepower and temperature settings for a wide range of dishes, making cooking a breeze.
The stove also includes a spacious 70L steam baking oven equipped with a 2000W external steam generator, a multidimensional stereo baking tube, and a side-mounted high-speed fan to ensure even baking. Additionally, it features dual straight jet steam for improved baking performance.
Not to forget, the stove supports rapid hot air circulation heating at 1500 revolutions per minute, allowing for oil-free air frying – a healthier cooking option compared to traditional frying. It offers a temperature range of 180℃ to 230℃, giving you versatility in your cooking choices.
The Redmi Note series is one of the most popular smartphone lineups worldwide. Earlier this month, the next-gen Redmi Notes were confirmed to debut soon. A few days back, the brand revealed that the launch is happening this week.
Apart from disclosing the launch date, Redmi has also been teasing the features of its upcoming phones. Other than official teasers, we have been learning about these devices from other sources, such as leaks and certifications.
Here in this article, we have compiled everything that’s known about the forthcoming Redmi Note 13 series in one place. Let’s go through the details.
Redmi Note 13 Pro
Redmi Note 13 Series Launch Date
The Redmi Note 13 series is scheduled to launch in China on September 21. It will be announced at a conference that will begin at 7 PM GMT+8.
Officially, Redmi has confirmed three devices, namely Redmi Note 13 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, and Redmi Note 13 Yibo Edition. However, we are expecting the vanilla Redmi Note 13 as well, even though the information regarding it is bleak.
Either way, if you are interested in watching the event, it will be live-streamed on Weibo and other leading Chinese video streaming platforms.
Redmi Note 13 Series Design
The Redmi Note 13 series will arrive with a different design compared to the Redmi Note 12 lineup. The new design will not be totally different as the similarity between the previous-gen design will be there.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro will retain the glass sandwich build with a flat frame. However, the camera island will be inspired by the Xiaomi 13 series but with protruding modules.
On the other hand, the camera placement on the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will be similar to the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. But it will have a curved display and a faux leather back. The Redmi Note 13 Yibo will likely be based on it with some variations in terms of color and pattern.
Unfortunately, we have no details on the design of the Redmi Note 13.
Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 13 Pro
Redmi Note 13 Series Specifications
The Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will flaunt 1.5K OLED displays. This makes them the first Redmi Notes to sport a screen with more than FHD+ resolution. Also, they will be the first Redmi Notes to come with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will be the first Redmi Note to feature a curved display. Its screen will offer 1800 nits peak brightness level,1920Hz PWM dimming, and DC dimming. In other words, these handsets will arrive with multiple firsts in the display department.
Both Pro models will sport a custom version of the 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition sensor. However, for some reason, only the Pro Plus version will have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
As for energy, the Redmi Note 13 Pro will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W charging. While the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will house a 5,120mAh battery with 120W charging support.
Since the Redmi Note 13 Yibo is expected to be based on the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, it will have the same specs as the latter. Whereas, we don’t have any info on the Redmi Note 13.
Redmi Note 13 Series Expected Price
The Redmi Note 13 series may start around ¥1,200 (~$165) for the vanilla model. While the Pro and Pro Plus variants could begin at ¥1,700 (~$235) and ¥2,200 (~$300), respectively.
These prices are based on the launchpricing of the Redmi Note 12 series from 2022. So they may not be accurate as the new-gen models will come with many upgrades.
Since Xiaomi is known for disruptive pricing, especially in China we wouldn’t be surprised if the Redmi Note 13 series cost about the same as the Redmi Note 12 series or just a little more.
Xiaomi has a new smartwatch in the making called the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro. The device is rumored to run WearOS 3.0 and is leaked to be powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor. That’s not the only impressive part, as rumor has it that Xiaomi will be pricing the smartwatch quite comparatively.
Tipster Arsène Lupin, who previously revealed some renders and specification details of the upcoming smartwatch has now revealed more renders along with the European pricing of the smartwatch. According to the retail screenshots provided, the base model of the smartwatch will be available for €269.99, while the LTE version will set you back €329.99.
Additional information suggests that the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro might have an even lower starting price of €249.99 in certain Eurozone markets. For those interested in the LTE variant, it’s expected to fall within the €299.99 to €309.99 price range, depending on the market where the base model starts at €249.99.
Xioami Watch 2 Pro specs
The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro boasts a Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Its 1.43-inch AMOLED display offers a crisp 466×466 pixel resolution with 326 ppi pixel density. The smartwatch houses a 500mAh battery, delivering up to 72 hours of usage on a single charge. For enhanced connectivity, there’s an optional LTE variant.
In terms of design, it sports a stainless steel body protected by Gorilla Glass and offers silver leather or black rubber strap options. The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is packed with fitness and health tracking features, supporting 150 sports modes, ECG monitoring, heart rate tracking, body temperature monitoring, and sleep tracking. The smartwatch also has a 5ATM water resistance rating, meaning you can easily take it swimming.
Apple started iPhone 15 pre-orders in over 40 countries last week and the smartphones are getting a lot of consumer attention like every year. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the iPhone 15 Pro Max is stealing the spotlight while the vanilla models are barely on par with last year’s models. Kuo also predicted that while iPhone 15 pre-orders are strong, sales will be affected by Huawei’s return to the flagship market with its latest 5G phones.
In case you’re not aware, Huawei recently launched the Mate 60 series, which, against all odds, features a 5G Kirin 9000s chipset under the hood. The processor is reportedly manufactured by SMIC, Huawei’s own foundry. Huawei previously had to rely on Qualcomm’s 4G chipsets, which made its phones less desirable to consumers.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro
Kuo wrote in his blog that “Huawei’s comeback will inevitably impact the iPhone, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen”. He was careful to note that this impact won’t be seen on the iPhone 15 pre-orders in the Chinese market, since “those who pre-order iPhones are core users or Apple fans, not the target customers for the current Huawei phones”.
The Huawei Mate 60 and 60 Pro flagships also experienced significant demand in China, with reports suggesting long queues forming in front of retail stores. We expect the Huawei flagships could affect sales of the base iPhone 15 and even the Pro model in China, but the iPhone 15 Pro Max may be unaffected. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also notes that “demand for the iPhone 15 Pro is weaker than last year, with one possible reason being a shift of more premium users to the iPhone 15 Pro Max this year.”
Lastly, Kuo said he stands by his previous prediction that approximately 80 million units of the iPhone 15 will ship this year.

The Vivo X100 series has long been in rumors and it seems we are finally nearing its launch. The expected Vivo X100 and X100 Pro models should launch sometime in November, however, an official confirmation is awaited. Both devices have been reported to bring some solid camera features and now a tipster says they will pack a chipset powerful enough to rival Apple’s A17 Pro SoC. Here are the details.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 series will feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset under the hood, which is claimed to be MediaTek’s most powerful 5G chipset to date. Based on the information available thus far, MediaTek has packed a significant amount of firepower into the Dimensity 9300. It is expected to consist of only powerful cores, meaning the chipset could incorporate an octa-core CPU with a 4x Cortex-X4 + 4x Cortex-A720 architecture. It’s worth noting the chipset does not include a Cortex-A520.
Reportedly, the chip will be manufactured using the N4P process, a refined 4 nm next-gen solution that offers performance boosts and improved power efficiency compared to the N5 and N4 processes. Although the A17 Pro chip found inside Apple iPhone Pro models is manufactured on TSMC’s 3nm process, the Dimensity 9300 is said to be a worthy rival in terms of performance and efficiency.
Since there are no benchmarking scores available for the Dimensity 9300, it’s best to take these rumors with a pinch of salt. Regarding the Vivo X100 series, the company has confirmed that it will be unveiled before the end of this year, which is quite obvious. Rumors suggest a launch in November, so we should expect an official confirmation next month.
Vivo is preparing to launch a new member for the Vivo Y22 Series which was launched last year for the affordable market segment. The Vivo Y22T has already appeared on NBTC and is spotted on Geekbench with some specification information. The same device today surfaces on the Bluetooth SIG certification confirming the presence of a Bluetooth 5.0 module.
The listing doesn’t reveal any other specification information, but it does affirm the nearing launch of the smartphone.
As per the previous reports the Vivo Y22T will be rebranded old smartphone, which Vivo would sell at a reasonable price point. It is quite hard to distinguish between differences that it would carry in comparison with the previous models in the same series.
Vivo Y22T Specifications (Expected)
The upcoming affordable smartphone will bundle quite a similar design and hardware and will retail at an aggressive price.
As revealed by Geekbench, the smartphone model name is “Bengal” and supports a 4G LTE network. It scored 377 scores in the single-core tests and 1501 points in the multi-core test. It bundles an octa-core Qualcomm Chip having 4x cores @2.40GHz and 4x cores @1.90GHz. There’s a 6GB RAM variant, and we expect another 4GB RAM variant too.
It is expected to feature a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast wired charging. The smartphone appears to run Android 13 out of the box. A dual-rear camera module is expected for the smartphone comprising a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. There will be an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
Mijia, a brand of the Xiaomi ecosystem, is known for launching innovative and affordable products. Following the recent release of the portable electric heating cup, the company has now introduced the Mijia Smart Curtain. In this article, we will explore the features and specifications of this new smart curtain.
Xiaomi Mijia Smart Curtain
The curtain comes in two lengths—1.75-3 meters and 2.2-4 meters—and can be freely adjusted within a specified range, thanks to its integrated telescopic track. It eliminates the need for separate measurements, making it easy to install and use.
It can be opened and closed using a variety of smart methods, such as voice commands, a smartphone app, or scheduled times. You can also open and close it manually like ordinary curtains.
The curtain has a three-speed regulating motor, so you can choose how quickly it opens and closes. There are in fact three-speed options—fast, medium, and slow—to choose from. It also has a smooth speed regulation feature, so the curtains won’t jerk or startle you.
The curtain can also be linked with other smart devices in your home. For example, if you have Xiaomi smart door locks along with smart curtains, you can set a “go home mode” that automatically opens and closes the curtains when you open the door and lock it.
You can also set the “wake up mode” and “sleep mode” to link with the Xiaomi smart speaker or smart ceiling lights so that music plays when the curtains open in the morning and the lights slowly turn off when the curtains close at night.
The Mijia Smart Curtain is priced at 599 Yuan and 699 Yuan for 1.75-3 meters and 2.2-4 meters, respectively. It is available for purchase from JD.com.
Apple’s annual fall event last week saw the arrival of the iPhone 15 series and Apple Watch Series 9. The Cupertino-based tech giant transitioned to the USB-C port from the age-old lightning port on the latest generation flagship smartphones. Now, noted tech analyst Mark Gurman is back with new developments in his weekly Power On newsletter. According to him, Apple’s 2023 lineup is seen as a temporary solution until more significant innovations arrive next year with USB-C integration in more devices.
Apple Magic Accessories With USB-C expected next month
Gurman reveals that the Magic Mouse, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Keyboard are expected to get a USB-C port. These will be launched alongside the iMac next month. The standard AirPods with USB-C charging case is expected in 2024. The company already launched the second-generation AirPods Pro with USB-C at the fall event.
Apart from the Magic accessories, Gurman predicts that the AirPods Max will also adopt the USB-C port. However, the exact launch timeline of the over-ear headphones remains unknown. The analyst also foresees the return of the MagSafe Battery Pack and MagSafe Duo Charger with USB-C charging ports.
With the iPhone 15 lineup having received the USB-C, Apple seems to be further transitioning its entire product lineup to the connectivity port.
The report also adds that the 10th anniversary Apple Watch called the Watch Sereis X will debut sometime in 2024 or 2025. It is expected to feature a blood pressure monitor and AI-powered health coaching service. Gurman also predicts that next year will see the arrival of a redesigned iPad Pro with an OLED display and improved accessories, 3nm M3 processor, a bigger display on iPhone 16, and Apple GPT.

Smartphone prices are consistently increasing almost with each new model. Whereas flagship models once sold for between $699-$799, they now easily exceed $1000. Moreover, the sale price isn’t the only cost that’s going up. As you may know, flagship smartphones are quite fragile due to their sensitive and often glass-covered front and back. If something happens to them, repair costs can be expensive.
While this reality encourages users to safeguard their devices with cases and screen protectors, unexpected accidents can still happen. Recognizing this issue, Apple has surprised its customers by offering a partial solution. The company has significantly lowered repair fees for iPhone 15 Pro models with cracked back glass. Here are the details…
Apple’s New iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max Are More Repairable and Affordable
Apple recently introduced its new iPhone 15 series at the Wonderlust event. As with every year, the models that garnered the most attention were the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, these models stand out not just in terms of technical specifications, but also in internal design, compared to the standard members of the 15 series.
Apple specifically worked to make the devices easier to repair and opted for a more repairable internal design. The company particularly redesigned the frame, allowing for the back glass panel to be easily removed from the devices. As expected, repair costs have changed with easy to repair design.
Apple has updated its U.S. website to reveal the repair fees for the iPhone 15 models. For back glass damage, the company will charge $169 for the iPhone 15 Pro and $199 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. In contrast, the repair fees for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are set at $499 and $549, respectively.
