In a recent leak, reliable leaker Ice Universe revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in Europe would be equipped with the Exynos 2400 chipset. A new leak that has emerged now reveals that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will not have an Exynos 2400 variant.
Galaxy S24 Ultra to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy in all regions
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
According to another tipster, Setsuna Digital, only the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus models would be equipped with the Exynos 2400 chip. He further indicated that the Galaxy S24 Ultra, regardless of the region, would feature a Snapdragon processor.
In other words, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy across all markets. Hence, it appears that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will come with Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy depending on the region. As always, readers to digest the leak with a pinch of salt.
A recent report claimed that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to begin with a base configuration of 8 GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Furthermore, the maximum storage capacity will be raised to 2 TB, compared to the S23 Ultra’s 1 TB maximum. To recall, the S23 Ultra was made available in storage options such as 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB.
According to rumors, the Exynos 2400 will have a 10-core chip with a Cortex-X4 core, two clusters of Cortex-A720 cores, and finally four A520 cores. The GPU, named Xclipse 940, has been developed in collaboration with AMD and is based on RDNA 2 technology.
On the other hand, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy will be an overclocked version of the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is expected to feature a powerful Cortex-X4 core, set to operate at a noteworthy 3.30GHz. In addition, three Cortex-A720 cores will function at 3.15GHz. Alongside these, the processor is said to incorporate two Cortex-A710 cores, capable of executing tasks at 2.96GHz, and two Cortex-A510 cores, geared to perform at 2.27GHz. It is said to include the Adreno 750 GPU.
CD Projekt Red has put all its chips on the table, declaring that the future of the company lies in the upcoming “Witcher” series, codenamed Polaris. As of July’s end, a robust force of 260 developers has been dedicated to this endeavour, overshadowing the company’s previous blockbuster, Cyberpunk 2077.
The new Cyberpunk DLC might be the last to be developed on the Red Engine
Adam Kicinski, the CEO, unveiled that post the September release of “Cyberpunk 2077: Shadows of the Past,” a majority of the team will shift focus to the Witcher project. For fans hoping for more Cyberpunk expansions, Kicinski confirmed those dreams won’t materialize. The reason? A tech switchover. “It’s a technical decision, to be honest. This is the last time we’ll be developing on Red Engine for the foreseeable future,” stated Kicinski.
But here’s the twist: the Cyberpunk saga isn’t over. A sequel, currently named Project Orion, is on the horizon, albeit in early planning stages. The company has hinted that this new sequel will be developed on the Epic Unreal Engine, marking a significant change in the company’s development strategy.
So, why is this a big deal? CD Projekt Red’s commitment to shift from its in-house Red Engine to the more universally acclaimed Unreal Engine signals an intention to keep up with the rapid pace of technological evolution in the gaming industry. This could mean more realistic game worlds, smoother gameplay, and potentially faster development cycles.
While the upcoming “Cyberpunk 2077: Shadows of the Past” will serve as a swan song for the Red Engine, the all-hands-on-deck approach for the new “Witcher” series seems like a fresh start. Keep an eye out for September 26 when “Shadows of the Past” rolls out on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
It’s clear that CD Projekt Red is not just adapting to change but steering it. And for fans and industry watchers, these are exciting times indeed.
In a bold move to keep up with competitors, Instagram is preparing to extend the maximum length of its Reels feature to 10 minutes, according to mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi. Currently capped at three minutes, this change will not only give Instagram an edge but will also force us to rethink how we categorize social media platforms.
Instagram may be looking to compete with TikTok with this move
While TikTok has been allowing its users to upload 10-minute videos, Instagram’s leap into the extended video space proves it’s unwilling to be pigeonholed as a platform only for photos and short videos. It appears to be part of a larger trend where social media giants are no longer content with sticking to their original niches. The long-standing descriptors of Instagram as the “photo platform,” TikTok as the “short video platform,” and YouTube as the “long video platform” are becoming obsolete.
YouTube is another case in point. In a seemingly paradoxical move, it’s reaching for a share of the short-form video market, introducing features that make it look more like TikTok. So, what’s the endgame here? It’s simple: to be the “all-in-one” platform.
Meta, Instagram’s parent company, confirmed that the screenshots shared about the Reels extension are from an “internal prototype.” While they didn’t specify when this change would roll out, it’s clear that the lines between these platforms are blurring at an unprecedented rate. It’s not just about keeping up anymore; it’s about breaking barriers and expanding horizons.
With every platform vying to be a jack-of-all-trades, the question now is, will they risk becoming masters of none? Time will tell.
The resolution is an important factor in determining a video’s clarity and detail. A high-resolution video can captivate audiences, while a low-resolution one can deter viewership. Whether due to filming equipment limitations or other reasons, not all videos are created equal. Fortunately, video resolution enhancers can bridge this quality gap.
Guide to Enhancing Video Resolution
When creating a video, what’s the key element that determines its success? It’s the resolution. A video’s resolution can significantly influence its reception and overall appeal.
Perhaps you’ve found that a video you’ve produced isn’t up to par in terms of resolution. This can be a letdown, especially since audiences today expect high-quality visuals. But don’t worry; there are tools out there designed to enhance video resolution, in a few simple steps.
Why Use a Video Resolution Enhancer?
There are several reasons to consider using a video resolution enhancer:
Ordinary Camera Limitations: If your video was shot on a basic mobile camera, it might not have the high-resolution clarity you desire. In such cases, a video resolution enhancer can be a game-changer.
Upgrading for Business Needs: Say you’ve produced a video in 720p, thinking it would only be viewed on smaller screens. But now, there’s a shift in plans, and you need to showcase it on a larger display. To make it fit for larger screens, like 4K or 8K, a resolution enhancer is essential.
Revitalizing Old Memories: Videos are a beautiful way to relive cherished moments. Maybe you have a vintage video, like your parents’ wedding footage, that you’d love to see in better quality. With a resolution enhancer, you can breathe new life into these precious memories.

FAQs:
How do I improve video resolution? Use a dedicated video resolution enhancer software like HitPaw Ai Video Enhancer. Remember that the quality of the enhancement will depend a lot on your original video.
How can I upgrade video quality to 8K? Use tools like HitPaw Ai Video Enhancer or its online counterpart to increase your video resolution to 8K quality. But as mentioned earlier, the quality of enhancement depends a lot on the existing video.
In a world obsessed with bigger, faster, and stronger, the electric bicycle market is shifting gears. The spotlight is now on e-bikes that give you a more authentic, almost old-school cycling experience—only with a bit of electric boost. Leading the pack is 3T’s newly released Exploro RaceMax Boost X20, an e-bike that’s making waves for being all about the riding experience rather than raw motor power.
The E-Bike has already received the RedDot Design Award
Hailing from Italy’s cycling hub of Torino, 3T’s latest bike comes with the kind of heritage and design excellence that turns heads. Showcased at Eurobike 2023 in vivid orange, this lightweight gravel e-bike isn’t just eye candy. It’s been engineered to mimic the feeling of riding a traditional bike while still offering that extra oomph when you need it. To achieve this, 3T turned to Mahle’s X20 rear hub—a system that delivers a modest 250 watts and 55 Newton-meters of torque, just enough to make those uphill climbs feel like a breeze.
The Exploro RaceMax Boost X20 may have a compact battery (a Mahle IX250 with a 236-watt-hour capacity), but don’t let its size fool you. It’s more than adequate for most rides. For those planning to go the extra mile—literally—a range-extender can fit neatly into the bike’s bottle cage.
While the bike’s $7,999 starting price may induce a double-take, it’s worth noting that this isn’t just an e-bike; it’s a statement. One that argues for a return to the roots of cycling, where skill and stamina play as much a role as technology. It has already received the RedDot Design Award, proving that you don’t have to trade off design and performance.
With the Exploro RaceMax Boost X20, 3T has elegantly demonstrated that sometimes less is indeed more. And as e-bikes increasingly become a part of the urban and off-road landscape, 3T’s minimalistic approach may just set the new standard.
To find out more, interested consumers can head over to 3T’s official website for additional configurations.

The US video game industry has endured a period of under-par growth in the aftermath of the pandemic. It however seems the industry is now turning the curve. The improved growth numbers of the industry have been driven mainly by improved hardware supply and blockbuster new games.
The US video game industry this decade began with a surge in players and investments. This was then disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic which limited the influence of video games. This also coincided with the hardware supply constraints experienced in the market. There were also numerous game delays from the software aspect. The supply of new-generation hardware has added a fillip to the release of blockbuster games, coupled with enhanced player engagements. These factors have cascaded to stabilize the US video game industry after several months of yo-yo movement.
It is projected that the US video game market will achieve a 3% growth at the end of 2023. This translates to about $58.3 billion in revenue. New hardware products accounted for $7 billion of the total video game spending of $57 billion in the past 12 months. This translates to a year-on-year growth of 19%. The impressive improvement in hardware sales was driven by a surge in demand for the PlayStation 5 console in the market. The overall spending is marginally higher than the previous year and also 13% better than the pre-pandemic period up to July 2020. It is expected that the PlayStation 5 will remain relevant in the market until 2025.
Apart from PlayStation 5, the older consoles like PS4 and PS3 also had decent performances. Other consoles like Xbox (Series, One, and 360), as well as Switch also performed strongly this year. There is a reported shift in the consumer base for new video game hardware and this is driven by high-income households. Growth has also been recorded in digital full-game downloads which accounted for much of the growth in the segment.
Furthermore, sales in blockbuster new games may have offset declines in mobile spending. Subscription gaming services have also experienced a surge within the last 12 months. The outlook on the US video games market remains bright and we could see further growth in 2024.
Audio accessories manufacturer JBL has demonstrated its new smart speakers with support for both Alexa and Google Assistant. The new JBL Authentics-branded smart speakers are the first smart speakers from Harman that simultaneously support the two Voice Assistants.
The new JBL retro-style smart speakers were part of the impressive products announced by JBL at IFA 2023 Berlin. The JBL Authentics 200, portable Authentics 300, and Authentics 500 are priced between $329.99 and $699.99. You can use any of the assistants intermittently without any hitches and this is remarkable. It is noted that the latest Sonos speakers do not feature this dual voice assistant support.
The integration of Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa on the JBL Authentics smart speakers is remarkable. The trajectory of Google and Amazon has been one of stern competition. So the new speakers could mark a departure from the previous non-cooperating stance of both tech giants. The integration of the two independent voice assistants is helped by the Multi-Agent Experience (MAX) Toolkit. The smart speakers feature an audio focus software that prevents both assistants from speaking simultaneously. The speakers offer premium functionality including Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
The implication of dual functionality of Alexa and Google Assistant with the Authentics speakers means easier integration in multi-assistant households. The JBL Authentics smart speakers will arrive in Europe on September 15 and in America on September 17. The new speakers can be purchased via JBL.com while other sales outlets will follow subsequently.
The ninth-generation console wars are in full swing. Both Sony and Microsoft are continuing their efforts to attract gamers with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. However, if you think there’s a clear race so far, you’re mistaken because the competition is about to get even tougher. Nintendo, which broke record after record with its Switch console introduced in 2017, is gearing up to unveil its next-generation handheld device. Moreover, according to the latest information, the Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to be revealed in 2024 and was secretly showcased at the Gamescom 2023. Here are the details…
Mysterious Nintendo Switch 2 Showcased at Gamescom 2023
The Nintendo Switch has been available for over six years, and its successor is eagerly anticipated by gamers. Although a new version is on the way, we previously reported various leaks about the next-generation Switch, including details about its hardware, pricing, and developer kit. Now, it turns out that Nintendo secretly showcased the next-gen Switch hardware to select media and developers during Gamescom 2023.
Heard some rumors recently that Nintendo maybe showed/maybe discussed the new Switch behind closed doors to select press/devs @ Gamescom.
If the rumors turn out to be true, we could soon hear an official announcement about new Nintendo Switch 2. This fits with previous leaks suggesting that Nintendo’s main partners have already received developer kits and plan to release games in the latter half of 2024. Earlier this year, Nintendo stated in its financial reports that they expect sales for the current Switch model to slow down.
As of June 30, the Switch has sold over 129.5 million units worldwide. A report from the international gaming news site GamesIndustry.biz states that as of July 2023, the Switch has even outsold the Wii in the U.S. In terms of U.S. sales, it’s now less than 1 million units behind the Xbox 360 and fewer than 5 million units behind the PS2.
What to Expect from Nintendo Switch 2
Based on recent rumors, the upcoming Nintendo Switch will be priced at $399.99. The new console is expected to have a custom Nvidia Tegra T239 processor and a 1080p or 720P display. It will also support 24 Gbps HDMI 2.1, 10-bit HDR, and 4K output at 60 frames per second. However, it won’t have a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of memory and storage, the console is rumored to come with 16 GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.

Artificial intelligence technologies are gaining popularity with each passing day. For this reason, tech companies from around the world are working to develop their own AI models and benefit from the popularity of ChatGPT. Additionally, these companies all have something in common: they all purchase the necessary components for developing their AI from US companies like NVIDIA. However, China is preparing to change this situation by producing its own High Bandwidth Memory (HBM). Here are the details…
Can China Break the US High Bandwidth Memory Chip Monopoly? The Long Odds and High Stakes
The technology war between China and the United States continues at full speed. Despite their mutual dependency, both countries are striving to outpace each other and maintain superiority. This is also true in the area of artificial intelligence chips. One of the critical components for this technology is high bandwidth memory chips. HBM allow for high-speed data transfer, making them indispensable for sectors that demand rapid processing, such as autonomous vehicles, AI-driven analytics, and more.
China’s top DRAM maker, ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT), is actively exploring avenues for producing HBM chips. However, experts speculate that it may take up to four years for CXMT to bring HBMs to the market. One of the significant obstacles CXMT faces is the U.S. sanctions on China’s tech companies.
These restrictions have forced Chinese chip makers to resort to less advanced technologies for producing DRAM chips. Despite the challenges, industry insiders suggest that China may be able to produce HBM chips without using cutting-edge lithography technologies such as extreme ultraviolet tools.
The demand for HBM chips is expected to grow by almost 60% in 2023. Breaking into this market would not only lessen China’s dependency on foreign suppliers but also offer a considerable stake in a rapidly growing market. The move would be a significant milestone in China’s broader tech and economic strategies, helping to insulate it from geopolitical tensions and contribute to its goal of becoming a global tech leader.
