Red Magic 8 Pro TENAA
Now, the TENAA listing has added the images of the Red Magic 8 Pro, revealing its complete design. According to a report by a South Korean publication, The Elec, Apple has started developing a 20-inch foldable device. This device is likely to end up as a future MacBook Pro. The report also mentions a smaller, foldable iPad.
The 20-inch foldable device will offer a screen size of 20.25 inches when unfolded. When folded, it will offer a 15.3-inch screen size. Since it is in a very early stage of development, there is no information on whether it will come with a physical keyboard. A report that surfaced earlier this year claimed that the 20-inch foldable will have a touchscreen keyboard. Apple’s 10-inch foldable device, which is expected to eventually replace the iPad Mini lineup.
It seems that it will take a couple of years for these Apple foldables to be available for purchase on the market. According to the report, Apple will only release foldable devices after incorporating OLED panels into its devices.
At present, the iPhone and Watch are the only Apple devices that offer OLED screens. The report states that the OLED iPad will arrive in 2024. It will come in 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes. LG Display and Samsung Display will be developing OLED panels for this device. It is said that the foldable panels for Apple’s foldables will also be supplied by South Korean display manufacturers.
While the OLED iPad is likely to arrive in 2024, the OLED MacBook, which was previously said to launch in 2025, is now expected to debut in 2026. As far as the Apple foldables are concerned, the 10-inch device is reportedly aimed for launch in 2025, while the 20-inch model may arrive in 2027.
The report says that there isn’t much chance that Apple will make a foldable iPhone because folding it wouldn’t bring any significant advantages.

There’s a possibility that the company may reveal more information about the device in the coming days through teaser posters. Along with the Xiaomi 13 series and Xiaomi Sound Pro, the company will also launch Xiaomi Mini Host and Xiaomi 10G Router on 11th December in the Chinese market.

Design
Well, if your goal is to obtain the most impressive design you can buy, then there is no doubt: you should go for the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus without thinking twice. It is built with a glass back and an aluminum frame, and it has a very innovative look, with an elegant camera module sporting the same color as the rest of the rear side, as well as a curved screen at the sides with a punch hole placed centrally. The OnePlus Ace Pro is pretty good with its glass back, but it is not among the most beautiful phones out there. Further, the OPPO is a lot thinner and lighter, with a thickness of just 8 mm and a weight of 192 grams (against 8.8 mm and 203 grams of its rival). So, as we already said, Reno is undoubtedly the most beautiful.
Display
It looks like the OnePlus Ace Pro and the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus are equipped with the same display panel because the specifications are the same. The only difference between these two displays is the curvature present at the sides of the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus, but for the rest, they are identical. We are talking about an AMOLED panel able to show up to one billion colors and sporting a diagonal of 6.7 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ certification, a peak brightness of 800 nits, and an in-display fingerprint reader. Both phones come with stereo speakers too. So, if you are trying to evaluate these two devices, focus on the other specifications.
Specs & Software
At first glance, the hardware departments of these phones look the same. They are both powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform by Qualcomm built with a 4 nm production process and sporting an octa-core architecture composed of a Cortex X2 CPU, three Cortex A710 CPUs, four Cortex A510 CPUs, and an Adreno 730 GPU. In their most expensive configurations, there are 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 native storage. The difference is the clock frequency of the processor: the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus has an underclocked CPU, with a max frequency of 3 GHz, while the OnePlus Ace Pro has the standard frequency of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, so 3.19 GHz. This means you should get slightly better performance with the OnePlus Ace Pro. On the other hand, the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus ships with Android 13 out of the box instead of Android 12, and we think this detail is more important.
Camera
The camera setup of the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus is superior. Even though the resolutions are the same, the main sensors are different. The OPPO Reno9 Pro+ is equipped with the new Sony IMX890 50 MP sensor with OIS, while the OnePlus Ace Pro still uses the Sony IMX766. Further, Reno is supported by the MariSilicon X proprietary NPU, while its rival is not.
The OnePlus Ace Pro packs a slightly bigger battery, with a capacity of 4800 mAh. Further, it charges quicker thanks to 150W fast charging.
Price
The starting price of the OnePlus Ace Pro in China roughly translates into €500/$527, while you need about $650/€617 in order to purchase the OPPO Reno9 Pro Plus. The latter is a superior phone due to a better camera setup and a better design, but the OnePlus has a superior chipset, a slightly bigger battery, and faster charging. Which one would you pick?
Chinese tech company ZTE was once a force to reckon with in the smartphone market until it was hit by the US sanctions alongside Huawei. The company has continued to make efforts to return to its glory days in the smartphone industry. In recent times, the company seems to be on a release spree as we have seen a number of products released. The models released within the last month include the ZTE K98 tablet, the Axon 40 Ultra Aerospace Edition, the ZTE Yuanhang 40 Pro Plus Starry Sky Edition, and the Libero 5G III. And now, the ZTE Blade V41 Vita has now been quietly released for the global market.
The Blade V41 Ultra looks like a successor to the Blade V40 Vita that was unveiled earlier this year packing a massive 6000mAh battery and powered by a Unisoc chipset. The new model comes with several upgrades over its predecessor. The Blade V41 Vita comes with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with an FHD+ resolution. The display also brings support for a 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of design, the device packs a waterdrop notch design at the front which houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. The back panel houses a triple camera but the arrangement of the sensors is where things get interesting. The device has two large circular modules nested at the top left corner of the back panel. While the module at the top houses the 50-megapixel main shooter, the second module houses two sensors – a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
As for the specs, the ZTE Blade V41 Ultra is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with 6GB RAM while there is 128GB storage onboard. The device crams a 4,500 mAh battery with 22.5W charging. Providing the interface is an Android 12-based custom MyOS 12.
The Blade V41 Vita is priced at $340 and is presently available on AliExpress. The phone comes in a sole Starry Black color.
