A leaker on Weibo (via HuaweiCentral) says that Huawei will hold a launch conference in China later this month. This event could take place around October 25.
The star of the show will be Huawei P50 Pocket New. As the name suggests, this foldable handset will be a new variant of the existing model.
The tipster says that a smartwatch will be presented at this conference. This wearable will be officially called Huawei Watch GT Cyber.
But unfortunately, he does not reveal anything about the watch. Hence, we know nothing about the product since this is the first time we are actually hearing about it.
On the other hand, we do know a few things about the Huawei P50 Pocket New. As per multiple reports, it will be a toned-down version of the original model.

A number of users have been complaining about a bug that triggers the battery replacement notifications on the Find My app. This bug affects nearby devices when the battery of the AirPods Pro earbuds or the MagSafe Charging Case is low. For those unaware, the AirPods Pro 2 was arrives with enhanced Find My functionality from its U1 chip for Precision Finding and even sharing the battery levels at all times.
So, it is likely that this new feature on the second generation AirPods Pro might be the cause behind this new bug. Looking at the notification, users are urged to “replace the battery on soon.” Although, it is technically not possible to replace the batteries on the AirPods Pro and one just needs to charge the device. In other words, users facing this issue might not be aware that the notification is for the AirPods Pro 2 since the item are referred to as simply “left,” “right,” and “Case.”

PriceBaba has published a new report citing tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) revealing the full specifications of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
The report states that, similar to the OPPO Enco X2 TWS earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will have dual audio drivers that measure 11mm and 6mm in size. Additionally, it will include LDHC 4.0 spatial audio capability. Active noise cancellation (ANC) of up to 45 dB is available, and adaptive noise cancellation is supported, enabling automated ANC intensity adjustment in response to ambient noise. Three microphones will be built into each earbud to improve voice isolation during calls.

The battery life of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 with ANC turned on is up to 6 hours, and with the case, it can last up to 22 hours. It has a 9-hour playback time without ANC and a 38-hour playback time with a case.
The Buds 2 Pro will offer wireless charging. On the other hand, charging the case for 10 minutes with a OnePlus Warp Charger will provide up to 10 hours of playtime. Putting the earbuds in the case for 10 minutes will charge them enough to provide up to 3 hours of playback. Other features offered on the earbuds will include Google Fast Pair, Bluetooth 5.2, 69ms low latency, LHDC 4.0 audio codec, and IP55 sweat and water resistance.

Back in August, Indian authorities banned the official VLC media player website “www.videolan.org” across the country without an explanation for the ban. Now, VideoLAN, the publisher of the VLC media player, has issued a legal notice to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeiTY) in India.
After the ban, MeiTY received a Right to Information (RTI) request from VideoLAN with assistance from the Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF). MeiTY answered by stating that they do not have any information regarding the ban. According to IFF, VideoLAN was not provided a warning or an opportunity to be heard. After that, VideoLAN has now sent these two government organizations a legal notice.
Although the government hasn’t provided any information or justification for why the VLC website was blocked in the nation, it has been reported that the government forbade downloading VLC from the program’s official website because some cybersecurity experts asserted that a hacker group called Cicada, based in China, used VLC to distribute malware. According to reports, the Chinese government supported the strike. Over the years, the hacker group has accumulated notoriety for attacking NGOs.
Google is all set to launch its next-generation Pixel 7 series flagship smartphones and the brand’s first smartwatch under the Pixel brand, dubbed as Pixel Watch.

At the event, Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones will get launched. Based on the leaks and reports, the Pixel 7 Pro will be powered by the yet unannounced Google Tensor G2 processor with improved GPU and NPU.

Now, tipster Evan Blass has shared some new images of the Pixel 7 series smartphones that appear to be from official manuals. They claim to demonstrate where the buttons, speakers, and seemingly unchanged 50MP primary and 12MP ultra-wide rear cameras will remain on both phones.

When it comes to the design, there is almost no midrange phone which can beat the Xiaomi Civi 2. It is built with an aluminum frame and a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass 5, it is one of the thinnest phones on the market (the thickness is just 7.2 mm) and even one of the most lightweight (it weighs just 172 grams). Further, it has a very high screen to body ratio and a pill shaped punch hole similar to the Dynamic Island found on the new iPhone 14 lineup. This is the only phone with a pill shaped punch hole placed centrally on the display until now. The Xiaomi 12 Lite is a beautiful phone too, but it is far from the new Civi. It is built with a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass 5, but it has a plastic frame and a lower screen to body ratio. The rear design is different and the handset is slightly thicker, but it is another of the thinnest and most lightweight devices on the shelves.
Display
The displays of the Xiaomi 12 Lite and the Xiaomi Civi 2 have more or less the same specifications. They are AMOLED panels with a diagonal of 6.55 inches able to show up to 68 billion colors with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, the HDR10+ certification, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The peak brightness is not the same but it does not change too much, with the Civi 2 being slightly brighter. An important advantage of the Xiaomi 12 Lite is the presence of dual speakers, so you can get a better audio experience with this device. When it comes to the main camera, the Xiaomi 12 Lite looks more convincing thanks to the presence of a great 108 MP main shooter. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Civi 2 has a better 20 MP ultrawide sensor, allowing for better ultrawide shots. Further, it sports a better front camera department including two 32 MP selfie shooters: one of them is an ultrawide camera, and there is also a front-facing LED flash.
With the Xiaomi Civi 2, users will get a longer battery life because it has a bigger battery and a processor built with a better production process (4 nm vs 6 nm). The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, against the 4300 mAh capacity of the 12 Lite. The charging technologies are exactly the same: 67W fast charging.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite starts from $399/€399 in the global market, while the starting price of the Xiaomi Civi 2 roughly translates into €350/$350 at the actual change in the Chinese market. Ahead of the October 7 Made by Google event, a tipster has leaked two ads for the upcoming Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. Tipster Snoopy Tech released a pair of 30 seconds ads via Twitter and the videos show some innovations in the two models.

The new Macro Focus feature is however lacking in the Pixel 7. Both models feature Cinematic Blur, similar to the iPhone’s Cinematic Mode. The Cinematic Blur functionality allows the camera to shift between two objects while keeping one sharply focused and the other image blurred in the background.
The Extreme Battery Mode of the new models allows for up to 72 hours of activity on a single charge. However, most of the apps are disabled although the user can choose the apps that can be running under this mode. You can choose the apps that you want to run under the mode by assessing the settings menu and navigating through the Extreme Battery Saver option.

The China-based firm also announced the latest Xiaomi TV Q2 series in three different screen sizes—50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. Xiaomi TV Q2 Series Specs and features
As mentioned, the newly launched Xiaomi TV Q2 comes in three different screen sizes—50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. All the models in the series have identical specifications. They run on Google TV OS and offer 4K ultra-HD (3,840×2,160 pixels) resolution as well as 92% DCI-P3 color space coverage.
