Google is expected to launch its next-generation Pixel series flagship smartphones in the form of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in the coming months. Ahead of the official launch, details about the upcoming smartphones have surfaced online.
Now, the phone case of the Google Pixel 7 Pro has been leaked online by TechGoing, which is pretty much in line with the previous CAD renders of the smartphone.
In terms of design, the Pixel 7 Pro is expected to be almost similar to last year’s Pixel 6 Pro, with a horizontal bar at the phone’s back for housing the camera sensors along with an LED flash. The same design is being showcased through the newly leaked phone case of the upcoming flagship smartphone from Google.
The phone case also reveals that the right side of the device will have a power button and the volume rocker keys. The bottom side of the Pixel 7 Pro appears to have a cutout for a pair of speakers and a USB Type-C port.
If the rumors are to be believed, then the Google Pixel 7 Pro smartphone could feature a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch curved OLED display with an LTPO panel and have a QHD+ screen resolution (1440p) with support for a 120Hz refresh rate.
Despite the current-generation models facing issues, it is also expected to continue offering an under-display fingerprint sensor. It is expected to be powered by the second-generation Google Tensor chipset and offer up to 512GB of internal storage.
Some reports have revealed that the Google Pixel 7 series is expected to come in Stormy Black, Kinda Coral, Sorta SeaFoam, and Cloudy White shades. While the launch timeline isn’t revealed, we expect the Pixel 7 series to go official sometime around October.

May 4th is unofficially marked as Star Wars Day and gaming accessories manufacturer Razer seized the opportunity to release its latest Star Wars-themed product – a limited-edition Imperial Stormtrooper-themed Xbox controller.
The new Xbox controller is designed like an Imperial Stormtrooper helmet with the same color shade as the popular Star Wars character. The left-hand joystick and A/B/X/Y buttons form the eyes of the stormtrooper while the handle imitates the air intake grille. The full Imperial Stormtrooper helmet logo is printed on the front of the charging base, with “Imperial Stormtroopers” written around it. It also comes with a fast-charging dock.
At present, the release date of the Xbox controller is unclear. Going by the price of similar products, it may retail for around $199.99 USD.
In 1977, director George Lucas brought the “Star Wars” franchise to the screen for the first time. This film perfectly integrates many traditional elements such as space wars, father-son feuds, heroes saving beauty, samurai duels, etc., coupled with the packaging of high-tech light and shadow, and finally achieved a legend in the history of film.
The date of May 4 is popular among “Star Wars” fans around the world and it originated from the pun “May the Fourth be with you”, a variant of the popular Star Wars catchphrase “May the Force be with you”.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A13 smartphone in India. The company is rumored to be working on a new variant as it made an appearance on Bluetooth SIG with model number SM-A137F earlier this week.
Now, the same device has made an appearance on the FCC certification website, meaning that it could debut soon. A MySmartPrice report reveals that the Galaxy A13 with model number SM-A137F recently visited FCC.
Samsung Galaxay A13 new variant FCC
1 of 4
The listing revealed that the smartphone is only capable of 4G connectivity and will come with Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n/a/ac). The database also mentions the Galaxy A13 new variant will come with a microSD card slot and NFC support.
Other than that, the device was tested with the EB-BA1336F battery, so we are likely looking at a 5000mAh battery capacity. The listing says that the device is capable of 25W fast charging, but it won’t be surprising if Samsung ships the smartphone with a 15W fast charger instead. To get a clearer idea of what to expect from the upcoming new variant of the Galaxy A13, we can take a look at the specs of the existing Galaxy A13 smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A13: Specs
The Galaxy A13 comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It packs the Exynos 850 chipset under the hood and pairs it with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
It has a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2 MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it brings an 8MP selfie snapper.
The device boots Android 12-based OneUI 4.1 out of the box and draws power from a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
Realme launched a brand new series of affordable phones in the Chinese market: the Realme Q5 lineup. The series is composed of three phones: the vanilla Realme Q5, the Realme Q5i, and the Realme Q5 Pro, with the latter being a flagship killer with a high-end hardware department. This series will remain exclusive to the Chinese market, even though devices belonging to the Q5 series might debut in other markets under different names as happened with previous generations. As you can see from the image, aesthetically, they are very different phones. But they also differ in their specs sheets. This is a comparison between the specifications of the Realme Q5, the Q5 Pro, and the Q5i.

Design
The Realme Q5 Pro is very attractive because it introduces a brand new texture on the rear side. If you do not like it, then the vanilla Realme Q5 offers you a better design with its multi-layer coating giving you a reflective rear side. Unfortunately, these phones are built with cheap materials: you do not get glass backs and aluminum frames like on flagships, but the build quality is still good. The Realme Q5i is the most compact phone of the trio because it has a smaller display, and it is even the thinnest one. The Pro variant also comes in a Vans custom edition dedicated to the known skating shoe manufacturer.
Display
If you are looking for the most advanced display, then you should go for the Realme Q5 Pro. It is the only one from this trio to sport an AMOLED panel. The display has a diagonal of 6.62 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, the HDR10+ certification, and an in-display fingerprint reader. The silver medal goes to the Realme Q5 coming with a 6.6-inch display, a Full HD+ resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate, but with the IPS LCD technology. The Realme Q5i has an IPS panel too, but with a lower 90 Hz refresh rate and a smaller 6.58-inch diagonal.
Hardware/Software
The most powerful hardware is provided by the Realme Q5 Pro which almost reaches the high-end segment thanks to a Snapdragon 870 mobile platform built at 7 nm and running at a max frequency of 3.2 GHz, paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. But it is also the only one without a micro SD slot. Right after, we got the Realme Q5 with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The Realme Q5i comes last with a Dimensity 810, just 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. All of these phones run Android 12 out of the box with the Realme UI 3.0 on top.
Camera
The most advanced camera belongs to the Realme Q5 Pro, but it is still a midrange camera: we are talking about a triple camera with a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. No ultrawide lenses on the Realme Q5 and Q5i, and a different main camera: the vanilla version has a pretty good 50 MP sensor, while the Q5i has a disappointing 13 MP snapper.
Battery
All of the batteries come with a 5000 mAh capacity, but these phones differ in terms of charging speeds: 65W on the Q5, 80W on the Q5 Pro, and 33W on the Q5i. Note that the Realme Q5 Pro lasts more on a single charge thanks to its efficient components.
Realme Q5 vs Realme Q5 Pro vs Realme Q5i: Price
The starting price of the Realme Q5 roughly translates into €200/$210, the Pro variant starts from about €330/$347, and the Q5i begins at €180/$189. Which one would you pick?
Audio products manufacturer Marshall has unveiled its smallest ever Bluetooth speaker named Willien. The Marshall Willien is a lightweight (0.31kg) and small (101.6 x 100.5 x 40.4mm) speaker with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The Marshall Willien will be released in the summer and it is priced at around $119. It will be available in select markets (the United Kingdom, US, etc).
The Marshall Willien is hyped to deliver heavy and high-quality sound under three presets. Its 2-inch full-range drivers and two passive radiators offer high-octane sound hardly associated with a small speaker. The speaker is dust and water-resistant with its IP67 rating. It delivers up to 15 hours of activity on a single charge. It is pretty fast to recharge the Marshall Willien – a 20-minute charge yields up to three hours of playback.
The audio capability of the Marshall Willien can be taken several notches higher by combining multiple Willien speakers via the Stack Mode. It is however unclear what are previous Marshall speakers not compatible with the feature. The Marshall Willien can also be used for making or receiving calls. It is a versatile device that seems to be some light years away from Marshall’s speakers of old. It is small but it can also sit on its side, back, or upright. There is also a rubber strap that makes it easy to attach the speaker to other devices.
Ordinarily, the Marshall Willien is entering a highly saturated portable Bluetooth speaker market. However, its features and affordability, together with Marshall’s brand identity, could spur the device on. It is unclear whether the Willien will be globally available in the summer when in berths in the US and UK.

On the back, it has a rectangular camera island with two circular cutouts for the primary and auxiliary cameras. On the left side, it houses a volume rocker while the right side is occupied by the power button and what appears to be the iconic alert slider.
The listing on AliExpress confirms the Dimensity 1300 SoC on the smartphone. The SoC comes coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The battery on the smartphone has 4500mAh capacity and supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. From the listing, it appears that the smartphone will ship along with the charging brick in the box.
Coming to optics, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS support. It is paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
On the front, the device features a 32-megapixel IMX615 sensor for selfies and video calls. Other features of the smartphone include Face Unlock, Screen Flash, Android 12-based OxygenOS 12.1 operating system, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The advertisement poster of the device reveals that the smartphone will debut with a price tag of $399 interested customers can order the device right now from Aliexpress for somewhere between US$665 to $715. It is available in two colors – Grey and Green.
Samsung’s top-range class of powerful and smart cordless vacuum cleaners has been launched in India. The Samsung Jet cordless stick vacuum cleaners offer top-notch home cleaning solutions in a hygienic set up.
The Samsung Jet 70, Jet 75, and Jet 90 vacuum cleaners are Samsung’s first offerings in that segment in India. They offer up to 200W suction power, are lightweight, and are ergonomically designed. The Samsung cordless vacuum cleaners are designed to offer consumers a fast and simple cleaning always. Samsung says the three products promise fast and thorough cleaning due to the digital inverter motor. The powerful inverter motor optimizes the airflow with its ultrasonic airfoil blades and overall energy efficiency.
The three vacuum cleaners employ the Jet Cyclone technology using multiple cyclones and air inlets to trap dust particles at minimal suction power. The products come with a multi-layered filtration system that effectively captures dust particles and allergens from the room. The filtration system also involves the release of clean air into the work environment. The products have a number of certifications relating to their allergens’ evacuation capacity.
The Jet 70 offers suction power up to 150W which can be sustained for up to 40 minutes. The device has a 2,000 mA battery that can be swapped to double the cleaning time. The battery of the Jet 70 is also quite efficient. The Jet 70 has a dustbin and a detachable drum which are convenient and hygienic.
The Samsung Jet 75 delivers suction power up to 200W and is highly efficient. It also has a detachable battery and hygienic facilities like the Jet 70. In addition, the Jet 75 comes with a few accessories like the combination tool, extension crevice, and mini motorized tool. The accessories are similar to what is available for the Jet 90. The Jet 90 offers a more advanced cleaning solution than the two other devices.
The three Samsung cordless vacuum cleaners are available in India at a discounted rate starting with Rs. 31,500 (~$413) for the Jet 70. The Jet 75 retails for Rs. 38,900 (~$510) and the Jet 90 is sold for Rs. 47,990 (~$629). All three products can be purchased from Samsung’s online store and Flipkart.
Anker has released its 633 Magnetic Battery for iPhones and it comes with a power capacity of 10,000mAh. The Anker 633 offers significant improvements in magnetic charging for iPhones and its capacity is about double of existing models. MagSafe batteries usually offer a single full charge for iPhone, but the new Anker 633 could go beyond that. The device is now available via Amazon for $80.
The MagSafe battery offers extra magnetic charging capacity for iPhones. The Anker 633 is capable of fully charging the iPhone 13 Pro about twice (actually 1.8 times, according to Anker). The Anker 633 seems to be designed solely for its power output, as it is designed with a traditional flip-out kickstand and Qi wireless charging. An additional USB-A port is also available for the device. Fasting charging could be achieved beyond 7.5W when a USB-C port is used. This delivers up to 20W of charging power.
The Anker 633 moniker seems confusing as Anker already has a separate Anker 633 Magnetic Wireless Charger. The new Anker MagSafe Charger compares with Apple’s modified MagSafe which delivers 7.5W wireless charging. However, Apple’s MagSafe offers 15W wired passthrough charging unlike the Anker 633. The heat dissipation mechanism is not yet clear for the Anker 633, as it seems not to have gotten any authoritative reviews yet. The 10,000mAh battery capacity of the Anker 633 remains its best feature.

Tata Motors is all set to launch its 2022 Tata Nexon EV long-range in India on May 11. The homegrown auto manufacturer has dominated the EV segment in India with its Nexon EV. The upcoming Tata electric vehicle will pack a bigger battery and is expected to have an increased range of 400km.
The new EV does not carry many upgrades in terms of design. However, the car is expected to have new regenerative braking modes, disc brakes on all four wheels, cruise control, and other safety features. The addition of a larger battery may result in a reduction in the car’s cargo area.
Nexon EV
In terms of battery capacity, the Nexon EV currently has a 30.2kWh unit. This configuration claims a range of 312km. The 2022 Tata Nexon EV long-range car will have a larger battery pack, which is believed to be around 40kWh. This will give the car an additional 88kms of mileage. It is unknown whether the automobile will employ the same electric motor as the existing model.
Tata Motors is likely to make additional changes in order to accommodate the larger battery pack. Mechanically, the upcoming long-range EV could include more chassis braces, upgraded suspension, and stronger construction components. The new vehicle is also expected to feature a new alloy wheel design.
2022 Tata Nexon EV long-range is said to be Rs 2-3 Lakh more expensive than the existing car, thanks to the upgraded battery pack. The Tata Nexon EV costs between Rs 14.54 lakh ($19,061) and Rs 17.15 lakh ($22,483).

Last month, we learned that Samsung will be skipping the Galaxy Watch 5 Classic this year and will instead launch a Pro model. However, the brand didn’t officially confirm this. Today, the codename of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series has emerged on the Internet confirming the existence of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
The codenames of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 series were discovered by GalaxyClub. The smartwatch has three different codenames that are, “Heart-S“, “Heart-L“, and “Heart Pro.”
It is said that the Heart-S codename is associated with the compact model (SM-R90x) of the Galaxy Watch 5 having a size of 40 or 42mm. The Heart-L is associated with the mid variant (SM-R91x) of the watch having 44mm or 46mm size.
Lastly, the Heart-Pro is associated with the bigger (SM-R92x) model i.e. the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro (or could be called the Galaxy Watch 5 Ultra). The size of the Pro/Ultra is unknown but the footprint of the smartwatch will be bigger than normal sizes.

Google-owned Fitbit is facing a lawsuit claiming that the wearable maker’s entire product line has the tendency to overheat and cause burns to users. It seems that the issue has been occurring for some time but recently come to light. In March this year, Google had voluntarily recalled 1.7 million Fitbit Iconic units after reports emerged of the smartwatch causing burn injuries due to overheating.
“Reasonable consumers purchase the products to burn calories – not their skin – and to safely pursue a healthy lifestyle with the aid of a smartwatch,” the complaint against Fitbit reads.
Fitbit Sense and Versa models are reportedly overheating and causing burn issues as per a new lawsuit
The two California-based plaintiffs who sued Fitbit and Google claim that the overheating problem is not only limited to the Iconic smartwatch. One plaintiff was using the Fitbit Versa Lite whereas the other had the Fitbit Versa 2. Both experienced overheating issues that resulted in burn injuries. The lawsuit claims that similar issues are present in other Fitbit products and the list includes Versa, Versa 2, Versa 3, Charge 4, Versa Light, Ionic, Sense, Alta HR, Inspire, Inspire HR, Inspire 2, and Blaze.
The lawsuit also alleges that Fitbit customer support isn’t helpful in resolving the issue. The company has been accused of putting the blame on the customer. The court documents submitted by the plaintiffs include screenshots of public and private chats with Fitbit’s support channels. Additionally, it also mentions that although Fitbit promised full refunds for Iconic owners, it has been sluggish with the compensation process.
Both Google and Fitbit could be in big trouble going forward if the overheating problem spans across Fitbit’s product line.
