The Galaxy S21 FE is one of the most awaited phones of the year. A recent report claimed that Samsung will be announcing it at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022, which will take place in early January. A few hours ago, reliable tipster Roland Quandt revealed that a UK-based B2B supplier has listed the Galaxy S21 FE’s back/battery cover. In addition, Quandt has shared some other images of that give a look at the rear assembly of the device.
The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to arrive in multiple colors. In the above tweet, the handset can be seen in colors like purple and olive green. The handset is equipped with a triple camera system and an LED flash.
Its rear design resembles the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ smartphones. However, it lacks the metallic component which is available in the camera unit of the S21 and S21+.
The Galaxy S21 FE is expected to borrow many of its specs from the S21 lineup. It is expected to arrive with a 6.4-inch AMOLED panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is expected to come preinstalled with One UI 4.0 based Android 11. It is likely to house a 4,500mAh battery that supports 25W rapid charging. It is also rumored to support 15W wireless charging and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
The Snapdragon 888 / Exynos 2100 chip is expected to power the S21 FE. It is likely to come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For photography, it may feature a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 12-megapixel (main) + 12-megapixel (ultrawide) + 8-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit.
Xiaomi kicked off its Double 11 sale on 1st November and the company has revealed some impressive numbers. Within an hour of the commencement of the sale, the company managed to sell 500,000 units of the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones.
Now, the company has revealed that it managed to sell products worth more than 7 billion yuan (approximately $1.93 billion) on the first day of the Double 11 sale. With this, it has also become the leading company in terms of smartphone sales across all platforms.
Xiaomi has revealed that it sold products worth 2 billion yuan in just one minute and 45 seconds and the numbers doubled to 4 billion yuan in 52 minutes and 11 seconds. In less than nine hours, the company sold 5 billion yuan worth of products.
The numbers indicate significant growth for Xiaomi in terms of Double 11 sales when compared to last year. The company had managed to sell products worth 1 billion yuan in 20 minutes on the first day of Double 11 sale last year and the total for the whole day stood at 4 billion yuan.
In related news, Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com sold more than 190 million items in just four hours after it kicked off the Double 11 shopping festival campaign. On the other hand, Alibaba‘s Tmall said that in just one hour after the sale, more than 2,600 brands saw their sales surpass last year’s first day sales.
Apple recently rolled out the macOS 12 Monterey update for the eligible Mac devices, which was first revealed by the technology giant during WWDC 2021 in June. Since then, the company had been fine-tuning the system in the beta phase and it finally released the stable version last week.
However, even after beta testing the new operating system for months, there’s an issue with the macOS 12 Monterey stable build as it is bricking older Macs for some of the users, who are unable to power their Macs, reports MacRumors.
There are a number of such complaints from users on social media and online forums claiming that they are unable to even turn on the device, making them useless. They say that when they attempt to update their Mac device to macOS Monterey, the device goes completely black and is not powering On after that.

Earlier this year, ASUS unveiled the Zenfone 8 series comprising of two distinctive devices dubbed the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip. The series was initially available in the European markets but it soon got a US release. Now, the compact flagship ASUS Zenfone 8 is landing in Brazil and the launch date has been announced.
According to ASUS, the Zenfone 8 will launch on November 4 at 12:30 PM local time in Brazil. The Taiwanese giant seems to expand the reach of the compact Zenfone 8 by launching it in more markets. In addition, local publications suggest that the Zenfone 8 Flip might as well launch in the region.

ASUS is expected to update its old VivoWatch SP with a new model soon. Today, the upcoming ASUS VivoWatch 5 has appeared on Bluetooth SIG certification confirming its existence.
As per the fresh Bluetooth SIG listing(via stufflistings), the upcoming smartwatch from ASUS will be called the ASUS VivoWatch 5. The listing seems to only have the LTE model of the watch but it could also come with a Wi-Fi model. Nonetheless, the VivoWatch 5 LTE carries the model number HC-B05L.
Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t reveal much other than confirming its Bluetooth support and moniker. However, we expect the smartwatch to appear on multiple certifications revealing its specifications.

Last year, Redmi launched the Redmi K30S in China as the rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T. In September, Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro in global markets. According to Mydrivers, Redmi General Manager revealed to Mi fans recently that there is no Redmi K40S, and the company is preparing the Redmi K50 lineup.
Even reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the Redmi K40S hasn’t appeared at Chinese certification sites, which indicates it will not be launching in the country. He added that the Redmi K40S would not have been as good as the company’s upcoming Snapdragon 870 powered flagships. Xiaomi 11T
Redmi fans in China have been waiting for a Redmi K40 series phone powered by the Snapdragon 888. It now appears that the company is unlikely to launch a K40 series handset with SD888 in the home market. The tipster claimed that the company is gearing to launch the Xiaomi 12 lineup and Redmi K50 series.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 5G was announced as the first Snapdragon 888 powered phone in December last year. Hence, it is likely that the Xiaomi 12 may go official with the upcoming Snapdragon 8-series chip in December this year. Probably, the Redmi K50 lineup may go official around the Chinese New Year in February 2022.
Samsung has been betting on foldable smartphones and is actively pushing this new form factor as it aims to make them mainstream. The company has two different types of foldable phone designs — Galaxy Z Fold series with a booklet-type fold mechanism and a Galaxy Z Flip series that has a clamshell-like fold mechanism.

The Z Flip Pocket Denim jeans have a “Z” shape stitched over the traditional pockets. The back pockets have been removed to be “flipped” to the front of the jeans. They are also made to fit the exact dimensions of the folded Galaxy Z Flip 3 phone.

DJI, the popular drone maker, has officially announced that the company will be hosting a launch event in China on 5th November at 10:00 AM local time. The theme of the event is “Image Supreme” but the company has not revealed what is getting launched.
But, if the recent leaks are any indication, then the Chinese company is gearing up to launch its new Mavic-series drone, dubbed DJI Mavic 3.
The development is in line with the company’s plan of hosting three launch events for launching three different products. It hosted a launch event on 20th October to launch the Robin 4D, the brand’s first four-axis movie camera which is also equipped with a Zenmuse X9 imaging system.
Following the launch of Robin 4D, the company hosted another event on 27th October where it launched the DJI Action 2 full-scene sports camera that offers multi-form magnetic expansion options to adapt to various shooting scenes.
Now, at the upcoming 5th November event in China, the company is expected to launch the DJI Mavic 3, which has already been leaked online. It is said to be equipped with an omnidirectional obstacle avoidance system, and an infrared detection system.

It is said to feature a fully stabilized 3-axis gimbal with a telephoto and wide-angle camera with the ability to capture 5.2K video and 20-megapixel photos. The wide-angle lens has an aperture of f2.8, and the telephoto lens should support 7x zoom.
The product is expected to weigh around 920 grams. The drone is also said to feature a built-in 1TB storage capacity and come powered by a 5000mAh or 6000mAh capacity battery, which can provide 46 minutes of flight time. It is also expected to be bundled with standard accessories such as a remote control similar to that of the Mavic Air 2S.

Apple recently announced that the HomePod Mini speaker will be available in more color options. Now, the technology giant has started selling the smart speaker in Yellow, Orange, and Blue colors. Prior to this, it was available in only two colors — Space Grey and White.
The new color models of the HomePod Mini can be purchased through Apple.com and through the Apple Store app in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. At select locations in the US and Canada, the company is also offering same-day pickup.

Rivian Automotive, a startup working on electric vehicles, is gearing up for an initial public offering (IPO) and the company is targeting a valuation of $54.6 billion, reveals amended prospectus filed by the company.
The startup says that it is planning to offer 135 million shares priced between $57 and $62, with an option for underwriters to purchase up to 20.25 million additional shares. At the high end of the range, that would give Rivian a valuation of over $60 billion on a fully diluted basis on its market debut.
It is being reported that the company is planning to go public as soon as next week and plans to get listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “RIVN.”
In its new filing, Rivian said that its investors, including Amazon and T. Rowe Price, have shown interest in buying up to $5 billion in shares in aggregate at the time of the IPO. The company will also be offering retail investors access to purchase a portion of its IPO shares through SoFi’s online brokerage platform.
For those who are unaware, Rivian is an electric vehicle startup which was operating in stealth mode since 2009 and launched its pickup truck and SUV in November 2018. The company was started with the aim of launching the Tesla Roadster competitor, but it pivoted to making SUVs and pickup trucks.
It has been investing heavily to ramp up production, including for its upscale all-electric R1T pickup truck, which was launched in September.

Camera
The Redmi Note 11 Pro is actually a downgrade if we talk about cameras, but it is just a slight downgrade and it only regards secondary sensors. The main camera does not change: it remains a 108 MP sensor with an f/1.9 focal aperture. Even the 8 MP ultrawide sensor remains the same. The Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 5 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro has just a 2 MP telephoto macro camera which is more disappointing in terms of photo quality. Earlier this year, Lenovo launched a mid-range tablet called Lenovo Tab P11 Plus in select international markets. Months later, this product has now debuted in China as the company’s first-ever educational tablet. It is called Lenovo Tianiao Tablet in its home country.

Lenovo Tianjiao Tablet Price and Availability

Google recently launched the Pixel 6 series of smartphones with impressive hardware like QHD+ LTPO display, Tensor chipset, and a big battery. The kernel source codes are important details that help developers build custom kernels and ROMS for the device.

Chinese tech giant Huawei recently applied for multiple trademarks which are expected to be used for upcoming products. The company registered for a series of trademarks like Matt, Petal Mail, Petal Lily, and Mate Paper. Today, a Weibo user has revealed that Huawei has started recruiting test personnel on November 6 for one of its such futuristic technology, the ink screen a.k.a Huawei e-reader technology.
According to the Weibo user, Huawei will soon launch its futuristic ink screen tablet which may be called the Huawei e-reader or MatePad paper. Although the moniker is yet to be revealed, the exact model number is known – HMW-1L10. Interestingly, it will bring support for HarmonyOS out of the box.
As of now, it is unknown what exactly would be the ink screen technology. Rumours have it that it will be a new method that revolutionizes information display. It will be a screen closer to paper materials and still, it would be easier on the eyes. That said, buyers won’t have to worry about any stroboscopic effect nor do they have to worry about glare.

Vivo‘s upcoming smartphone under the V-series has been in the news quite often lately. The model known as Vivo V23e has now appeared on the database of benchmark app GeekBench.The Vivo bears the model number V2116 which has a history dating back to July when it first appeared on the IMEI database listed as Vivo V23e. The V2116 also appeared at Bluetooth SIG in September. That isn’t all, just a few days back, a hands-on video of the model appeared online giving us our first look at the device.
Coming to the GeekBench listing, the device is listed with a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset paired with a staggering 8GB RAM. It will run on the Android 11 operating system which will likely have a touch of Funtouch OS 12. The device polled a total score of 473 points on the single-core test and 1,668 points on the multi-core test. The GeekBench listing, as usual, isn’t generous with details of the model. Also, the specs and Geekbench scores don’t match up so we’ll take this with some doubt.
The earlier leaked video shows the device will pack a triple 64MP camera setup at the rear while the selfie aspect will be piloted by a 50MP front camera. The device will also be powered by a 4,030 mAh battery with 44W charging.
