A few days ago, Apple officially started taking pre-orders for its latest Apple Watch Series 7 after announcing the new wearable devices a few weeks ago. The company had delayed the launch by a couple of weeks because of production issues.
As it turns out, the production issue is quite real and it seems that the company hasn’t fixed it yet. Those who have pre-ordered the latest Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatches are finding out that the shipment dates have been pushed back to December while some higher-priced models are marked as “currently unavailable.”
It is reported that the devices priced at $899 are listed as “currently unavailable” which are made from silver titanium with a leather band, as well as a black titanium one with a silicone band. The Apple Watch models that are part of Hermes’ partnership are showing delivery dates in the month of November and December.
Apple has been facing shipments issues with the newly launched iPhone 13 series smartphones as well, with shipments dates pushed to November for some units. It remains to be seen if the technology giant manages to sort out the production issues ahead of the holiday season that is about to begin.
Analysts are expecting the company to generate revenue of nearly $120 billion during the three months, starting from October to the end of the year. In that case, the numbers would result in a 7 percent year-over-year gain for Apple.
Internally, the Apple Watch Series 7 packs similar sensors and processors as its predecessor but runs on the latest watchOS 8 user interface with lots of amazing features and improved algorithms. The devices come in five different color options — Black, Blue, Gold, Red, and Dark Grey.
It also comes with several new watch faces, has IP6X water and dust resistance rating. The highlight is the battery, which the company claims offers up to 18 hours of normal usage when fully charged and can be charged through the USB-C port. Apple also adds that 8 minutes of charging of the device offers 8 hours of battery life.
Zepp Health will announce its new wearables tomorrow. The Chinese manufacturer is expected to unveil three new smartwatches which are the Amazfit GTR 3, Amazfit GTR 3 Pro, and the Amazfit GTS 3. Ahead of the launch, renders as well as specs and pricing details of the watches have been leaked.

The OnePlus 9RT is one of the new devices launching this week. The phone is a more powerful version of the OnePlus 9R that was announced in the first half of the year. Ahead of the launch, OnePlus has confirmed some of the new features and upgrades the phone will bring.
Warp Charge 65T
The OnePlus 9RT will support Warp Charge 65T, the faster version of Warp Charge 65 which is available on the OnePlus 9R. The phone will join the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro which launched with Warp Charge 65T support earlier this year.
The new fast charging technology will charge the 4500mAh battery inside the phone from empty to full in just 29 minutes as opposed to the 39 minutes it takes using Warp Charge 65.
Virtual RAM
The manufacturer has also revealed the OnePlus 9RT will have support for virtual RAM. Users will have up to 7GB of virtual RAM on top of the 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM the phone will ship with.
Improved Cooling System
The OnePlus 9RT will also have an improved cooling system that includes a cooling plate with an area of 19067.44mm² which OnePlus claims is not only the biggest in any of its phones so far but is similar to what you will find in a tablet.
Other features confirmed are a Snapdragon 888 processor, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, a 120Hz Samsung E4 display, and a 4500mAh battery capacity. The phone will have three rear cameras that include a Sony IMX766 50MP camera. The phone will run ColorOS12 based on Android 11 out of the box instead of Android 12 in China according to a leak. The variant launching outside China should run OxygenOS 12.
The OnePlus 9RT will launch on October 13 and will be available on October 19.
Not too long ago, images of the Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3 Wooyoungmi Editions appeared on Twitter but there wasn’t any indication as to when the model will be launched. Details of the pricing and availability have now appeared thanks to listings of the two models by South Korean online retailer Coupang.
The listing shows that the models are now on pre-order in Korea and the Galaxy Z Flip3 Wooyoungmi Edition will retail for KRW1,628,000 (~$1,360) while the Galaxy Z Fold3 is priced at KRW2,328,000 (~$1,945). The two models are available in a single 256GB storage, but the Z Flip 3 comes in 8GB RAM while the Z Fold 3 is available in a 12GB RAM option. Other specs remain the same as their regular versions.
The two smartphones are bundled with protective cases and additional accessories, and you can pre-order one from Coupang. The e-tailer states that the models will start shipping on October 22.
As a reminder, Wooyoungmi is a Paris-based South Korean menswear clothing brand launched by the designer Youngmi Woo. The brand has garnered a reputation as one of the critically acclaimed clothing brands in his home country – South Korea. Thus, it shouldn’t be surprising that Samsung is working on a customized edition of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 with the brand. However, it’s unclear if these Wooyoungmi Edition phones will remain exclusive to South Korea or launch in other markets as well.
The Black Shark 4S is an upcoming smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Black Shark. The new smartphone will arrive in a few days as a slight refresh to the Black Shark 4 announced in March. Rather than wait till the launch, Black Shark has given us an early look at the smartphone.
Black Shark has carried over some of the design features of the Black Shark 4 to the Black Shark 4S such as the hexagonal-shaped camera housing which is home to three cameras and the retractable shoulder buttons.
The changes are in the pattern of the back panel which makes use of more lines compared to its predecessor. It has been reported that the design was achieved using nanolithography. There is now a big Black Shark logo written on the back of the phone and right below the camera housing is a small green LED. The poster confirms that the Black Shark 4S will be available in two colorways, one of which is a gorgeous white variant.
1 of 2
It has been reported that the Black Shark 4S will have a Snapdragon 888+ processor, a display with a 144HZ refresh rate, and support for 120W fast charging.
The Back Shark 4S will be announced in China on October 13.
In 2015, when OnePlus announced its second smartphone, the OnePlus 2, the manufacturer added a feature that has now become a signature of the brand. That feature is the Alert Slider, a physical switch for sound control. Since then, the metallic textured button has appeared on all OnePlus phones save for its budget models.
The Alert Slider is one of the most beloved features of a OnePlus as it makes it easy for users to switch between ring profiles without the need to unlock the device. You don’t even have to get the phone out of your pocket or purse to activate your preferred sound profile. The Alert Slider is inspired by the Ring/Silent switch on the iPhone. However, as popular as it is, we haven’t seen other manufacturers adopt (read copy) the feature considering it isn’t uncommon for brands to adopt a feature from competitors that is a hit among users.
For this week’s poll, we want to know if our readers would love to see other manufacturers replicate the Alert Slider on OnePlus phones. So, please take the poll and also let us know in the comment section what you think about the alert slider and why we haven’t seen it on other non-OnePlus phones.
A report that appeared last week claimed that the Vivo V21 5G will be soon available in a neon color in India. Vivo has revealed that the new color variant will be called Neon Spark and it will be launching on Oct. 13.
The below-shown tweet teases the appearance of the Vivo V21 5G Neon Spark model. The new hue will be sold alongside V21 5G’s other color variants such as Dusk blue, Sunset Dazzle, and Arctic White. It appears that apart from sporting an attractive paint job of bright yellow, the Neon Spark variant will have no difference as compared to the existing variants.
It's bold. It's unique. It's irresistible. The world of Neon Spark is here now, are you ready for it?
The Vivo V21 5G has a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has an OIS-assisted 44-megapixel front camera with dual-LED flash. Currently, the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions of the V21 5G are priced at Rs 29,990 (~$399) and Rs 32,990 (~$439), respectively.
Three new Vivo phones with model numbers V2009A, V2115A, and V2156A have received certification from the TENAA authority of China. Among these, TENAA has listed the major specs of the V2156A smartphone with images.
Back in August, the V2156A smartphone was spotted with the Vivo Y76S name at the IMEI database. However, a Chinese tipster WHY LAB has claimed that the smartphone will be releasing in the market with the Vivo Y55s moniker.
The V2156A handset measures 163.85 x 75 x 7.79mm and weighs 175 grams. It has a 6.58-inch TFT display that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It is powered by a 4,005mAh rated battery.
The back panel of the V2156A has a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. It has a front-facing camera of 8-megapixel. It runs on Android 11 OS. It is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core processor. The above-mentioned leaker claimed that the V2156A is equipped with the Dimensity 900 chipset.
The V2156A is expected to hit the Chinese markets in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants. It may release storage choices such as 128 GB and 256 GB. It offers other features like a side-facing fingerprint sensor and a microSD card slot. In terms of specs, the V2156A appears similar to the upcoming iQOO Z5x. In comparison, the V2156A has a slimmer chassis as it houses a smaller battery. Probably, the device will go official as early as this month.
iQOO is expected to launch a new smartphone soon as a device carrying model number V2154A has just appeared on China’s 3C certification. It is believed to be the upcoming iQOO Neo6 and its details are now known.
According to the 3C certification, the Vivo V2154A, the purported iQOO Neo6 has support for 66W fast charging support. This is an upgrade over the 44W fast charging seen in the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition that launched earlier this year. However, this is the same charging speed as the original iQOO Neo5.
Unfortunately, there isn’t anything else to learn from the listing. But, we expect the phone to pack a big battery. Rumours are rife that the smartphone will feature an OLED panel with a 120Hz high refresh rate. It may come with multiple cameras and could have a 48MP primary lens.
Under the hood, the device could feature a flagship chipset. We may see it with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with various RAM and storage options. The smartphone is also expected to run on Android 11 OS.
As of now, there’s no word on the phone’s announcement. But, as the device passes more certifications, we can expect an impending launch.
iQOO Neo5 Specifications
The iQOO Neo5 has a 6.62-inch punch-hole AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ resolution. It sports a triple camera system with a 48MP main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it has a 16MP front camera for selfie snaps.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. It has a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
Last month, iQOO announced the iQOO Z5 5G smartphone in China and India. Reports have claimed that China will soon receive another Z-series handset called the iQOO Z5x. The alleged Z5x has appeared in the database of the TENAA certification platform with full specifications and images.
A Vivo phone with V2131A has bagged approval from the TENAA authority. It can be said based on a recently seen IMEI database listing that this device may release in the Chinese market with the iQOO Z5x moniker. The listing reveals that the handset measures 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.5mm and weighs 169 grams. The handset is fitted with a 6.58-inch TFT panel with a top-center positioned 8-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear panel of the device is a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system. The phone runs on Android 11 OS. It is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core processor and a 4,880mAh rated battery. The 3C certification of this model revealed that it may ship with a 44W fast charger.
It is likely to arrive in 6 GB / 8 GB RAM variants and 128 GB / 256 GB storage editions. The other features that are available on the device include a microSD card slot and a side-facing fingerprint reader.
The previously seen Google Play Console listing of the V2131A revealed that it will be powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset. The iQOO Z5x is expected to arrive as the most affordable phone with the D900 SoC. It is likely to be priced at around 1,000 Yuan, claimed tipster Digital Chat Station. Another tipster said that it will be debuting by the end of this month and will be available for purchase in early November. The iQOO Z5x is now listed on JD.com for reservations.

The 2020 model also packed impressive built-in speakers, so we can expect similar or better ones on the models launching next week. Other specifications expected for it to have is Dolby Audio, DTS audio, and far-field microphones for voice control. Last year’s model launched with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and there is a possibility it will be carried over to this year.
We also expect similar pricing to the Redmi Smart TV X which had a launch price of under $300 for the 50-inch model.

Xiaomi makes a wide range of products, although a lot of them are only sold in its home country of China. One of such products is its smart door locks, and it has a new one that has a feature that is available on most smartphones these days which is face unlock.
The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock X uses a self-made 3D structured light face recognition module. The face unlock system includes a dot projector, infrared light, RGB camera, light sensor, proximity sensor, and an infrared camera. Xiaomi says the door will unlock once a recognized face is in proximity.
Apart from face unlock, the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock X also supports seven other unlock methods including fingerprint, password, and NFC. The door will also automatically lock once you shut it and will alert you when an unrecognized person is at the door.
There is a massive 6250mAh battery inside the door lock. Although Xiaomi doesn’t say, it should be rechargeable. We also don’t know how long the battery will last before it needs to be recharged.
The Xiaomi Smart Door Lock X not only works with Xiaomi’s own Mijia app but is also compatible with Apple HomeKit. The Samsung W22 5G will launch on October 13 at 7 PM local time in China. The device is expected to be available for purchase in China soon after its unveiling.

As learned by previous leaks, the Samsung W22 5G will bring the same design as the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It won’t just borrow the exteriors, rather it will also have the same internal as the Z Fold 3. As far as pricing is concerned, rumours have it that the phone may cost CNY 18,999(~$2,949). If this is to be believed then it will be way expensive than the Z Fold 3’s launch price of CNY 14,999(~$2,328).

The battle between the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the best Android flagships keeps going. Yesterday, we published a comparison between the specifications of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Today, it is the turn of the Vivo X70 Pro+ to be compared to the most powerful iPhone in order to find out whether or not there are better devices for your actual needs. Both these handsets offer maxed-out specifications and they are all but affordable. Before making such a big expense, it is worth examining their specifications in order to know these handsets better under every aspect. So, here is a specs comparison between Vivo X70 Pro+ and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Vivo X70 Pro+ vs Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
Vivo X70 Pro Plus
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
164.5 x 75.2 x 8.9 mm,
209 g
160.8 x 78.1 x 7.7 mm,
240 g
DISPLAY
6.78 inches, 1440 x 3200 pixels (Quad HD+), AMOLED
6.7 inches, 1284 x 2778p (Full HD+), Super Retina XDR OLED
It is an iPhone, so the design of the iPhone 13 Pro Max is obviously more iconic. But if we exclude the huge camera module, the Vivo X70 Pro+ is more attractive in terms of aesthetics. It comes in a special variant with an eco leather back and it has a very high screen to body ratio without any notch: you only get a small hole placed centrally in the display. On the other hand, if you need a better build quality, then you should go for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. It offers better water resistance (up to 6 meters of depth with the IP68 certification) and it is made with a Ceramic Shield back (sturdier than other glasses) and a stainless steel frame instead of aluminum.
Display
On the paper, the display of the Vivo X70 Pro+ looks more advanced. It is the first phone to sport the new Samsung E5 AMOLED display and its specifications are impressive. This screen has a diagonal of 6.78 inches and it comes with the LTPO technology enabling an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. It also has a high Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a high brightness, and the HDR10+ certification. Last but not least, it is able to display up to one billion colors and it is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. With the iPhone 13 Pro Max, you get the Face ID for the authentication, thanks to an SL 3D sensor placed in the notch.
Specs & Software
Vivo X70 Pro+ has the best processor in the Android world and iPhone 13 Pro Max has the best one in the Apple world. What makes the real difference is the optimization of the operating system rather than the performance difference of the two processors. The iPhone 13 Pro Max should be able to provide faster performance in most of the scenarios, as well as a more stable user experience. No matter that the Vivo X70 Pro+ doubles its RAM with a whopping 12 GB. Vivo X70 Pro+ is based on Android 11, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max runs a more advanced iOS 15.
Camera
The Vivo X70 Pro+ looks like a more versatile phone if we talk about the camera setup. It has a 50 MP main sensor with a very bright focal aperture, laser autofocus, and OIS which shoots great photos in low light conditions and provides a very high definition, even for videos that can be recorded with an 8K resolution. Further, it has an amazing 8 MP periscope sensor with 5x optical zoom, a telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a great 48 MP ultrawide camera. You do not get such awesome camera hardware with the iPhone 13 Pro Max, but it is able to record better videos. However, it should be inferior when it comes to photos.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has a bigger battery than iPhone 13 Pro Max, but this does not matter: the iPhone still lasts more on a single charge because of iOS optimization. But the Vivo X70 Pro+ has faster charging with a power of 55W and 50W respectively for wired and wireless charging.
Price
Vivo X70 Pro+ is priced at €720/$833 in China and it starts from €930/$1076 in India. We still do not know how much it will cost in Europe. iPhone 13 Pro Max starts from around €1200/$1389 in Europe, while in India you need about €1500/$1735 to get it. After learning the hardware differences, which one would you pick?

The company had submitted its Star Market listing application on September 30 which had gotten approved on the same day. It was sponsored by CICC, with Goldman Sachs Securities and CITIC Securities being its joint lead underwriters (via: Pandaily).
The prospectus had stated that the company would be offering less than 10% of its total share capital to raise 10 billion yuan ($1.54 billion). Out of the total, 5.514 billion yuan is to be used for R&D, 1 billion for industrial strategic investment projects, and 3.5 billion to supplement working capital.
Had the application actually been followed through, Lenovo would have become the first company to complete a dual listing on Shanghai’s Star Market using Chinese depository receipts.
Lenovo’s net profit over the past three fiscal years was 4.247 billion yuan, 5.594 billion yuan, and 8.685 billion yuan, respectively, as per the prospectus.
The company’s core business is comprised of smart devices and data centers, and its products are mostly computers, mobile phones, and data center equipment.
In an interview regarding the plan to return to Chinese A-shares, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman of Lenovo Group, said, “On one hand, Lenovo’s business is rooted in China and we have been looking forward to listing in China. On the other hand, we hope to establish connection with more customers through the Star Market, and optimize the company’s capital structure by making better use of the booming domestic capital market.”

The port project’s 5G network will be provided by Vodafone Hungary and Huawei Technologies Hungary. It will be used to control the terminal’s fully self-propelled giant cranes remotely. These cranes are capable of even, fine movements. The terminal will be able to handle up to 1 million 20-foot containers (TEUs) per year after its completion in the first quarter of next year.
Colin Cai Lingyu, CEO of Huawei Technologies Hungary, said at the signing ceremony that this is the first time that the company has used 5G technology to empower the traditional railway logistics industry in Europe and realize remote control of cranes through 5G technology. With the technical advantages of 5G technology, such as high speed, low delays and high capacity, workers only need to sit in the central control room and use the high-definition video returned by 5G to complete the operation remotely, which improves the working environment and operation efficiency.
