Redmi is preparing to launch the second iteration of its G series gaming laptop on September 22. The upcoming gaming laptop will be called Redmi G 2021, which is said to offer ‘invincible high-performance’ to gamers for better gameplay.
The company teased the details about the cooling mechanism of the Redmi G 2021 gaming laptop. As per the report, the upcoming gaming laptop from Redmi will come with a new “Hurricane Cooling 3.0.” The new Hurricane Cooling 3.0 will include dual 12V large fans, five all-copper heat pipes and four air outlet configurations. The teaser image shows two heat dissipation fans at the bottom of the laptop.

“Redmi’s brand mission is to popularize high-end products, and to be an invincible high-performance light-chasing game book of the same grade, so that every gamer who loves games can enjoy a high-quality light-chasing gaming experience. The new goal of a generation of Redmi G gaming notebooks,” a Redmi spokesperson to the publication.

Earlier today, the company shared a new teaser image revealing the internals of the upcoming Redmi G 2021 gaming laptop. As per the image shared by Redmi, the gaming laptop will be powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor paired with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics processor. According to the company, the Redmi G 2021 with RTX 3060 can achieve full power consumption of 130W. Redmi says that actual performance is worth looking forward to. The upcoming laptop is said to come with a ray tracking feature to bring more realistic visual effects to the games. Meanwhile, the pre-booking page of Redmi G 2021 on JD.com shows two laptop models, one powered by AMD and another powered by Intel chipset.

The device runs on a 4250mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Other features include NFC, stereo speakers, a Z axis linear motor, an IR blaster, Dual SIM support, WiFi 6, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, and Bluetooth 5.2. Unfortunately, pricing of the device has yet to be revealed in India, although, its global pricing starts from 369 Euros, which translates to about 435 US Dollars or nearly 32,000 INR. So we can expect the Indian pricing around the 30K range.
