Barely a week after announcing the POCO F3 GT, the Xiaomi subsidiary is back with another phone – the POCO X3 GT. This too is a rebadge of an existing Redmi phone – the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G sold in China.

Unlike some other rebadged Redmi phones, POCO has not modified the design of the POCO X3 GT. So this is the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with POCO branding at the bottom left corner instead of Redmi’s.
POCO X3 GT Specifications
The POCO X3 GT has a 6.6-inch LCD FHD+ DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display has DynamicSwitch which automatically changes the refresh rate based on the content being viewed. So you’ll get a 48Hz refresh rate when watching movies, a 50Hz refresh rate for TV shows, and 60/90/120Hz refresh rate for games.
Other features of the display are Gorilla Glass Victus for better protection against drops and scratches, a DCI-P3 color gamut, Reading Mode 3.0, and 360° ambient light sensors.
The POCO X3 GT has a Dimensity 1100 processor and is paired with 8GB of RAM. It will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options.
For its cameras, the phone has a 64MP f/1.79 main camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. Users will be able to take photos in Night mode as well as long exposure photos. There is also a vlog mode, pro time-lapse mode, and photo clone feature. The phone can record in 4K at 30fps, in 1080p at 30fps and 60fps, and in slow motion at 120, 240, or 960fps.

The front-facing camera is a 16MP sensor and you get AI Beautify, Movie Frame, and Short Video modes.
The POCO X3 GT has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IR Blaster, NFC with support for Google Pay, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6. It also has stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio. It also has Dual 5G support and LiquidCool Technology 2.0 which can reduce the temperature by up to 11°C when in a high-performance state.
POCO ships the phone with a 5000mAh battery and it supports 67W fast charging that allows you to charge the phone from empty to full in 42 minutes. Thankfully, you get a 67W fast charger in the box. The F3 GT runs MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

The final major upgrade is to the latency, with the device now offering an ultra low latency of just 89ms. This would prove great for people that use these wireless earphones while gaming on their smartphones. For those unaware, Qualcomm had launched the Snapdragon Sound audio technology back in March 2021. It arrives as an upgrade to the chipmaker’s existing aptX adaptive codec and offers a stronger anti interference and lower delays that is consistent with LDAC and LHDC. This technology even helps boost active noise cancellation performance and calling as well.
