It is believed that the OPPO phone with model number PENM00 which was recently approved by the TENAA authority of China could be the upcoming Reno6 Pro+ flagship. The listing revealed the images and specs of the phone. Fresh leaks have now revealed some information about the Reno6 Pro+.
Digital Chat Station claimed that the Reno6 Pro+ will meet the shortcomings of its predecessor. The Snapdragon 870 chipset-powered smartphone is expected to arrive with dual stereo speakers and an X-linear vibration motor. Another tipster claimed that the latter is provided by AAC technology.

It can be said based on the TENAA listing that the 50-megapixel camera is accompanied by a 16-megapixel superwide lens, a 13-megapixel telephoto snapper, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The handset is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It sports a slim profile of 7.9mm and weighs 188 grams. On the front, it features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved screen with a punch-hole design.
For selfies, the Reno6 Pro+ has a 32-megapixel camera. It has 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of native storage. It will ship with ColorOS UI flavored Android 11 OS.
South Korean tech major Samsung Electronics has officially released three new laptops in the Galaxy Book series. The devices are the Galaxy Book, Galaxy Book Pro, and the Galaxy Book Pro 360. All three portable and highly versatile laptops come with an excellent AMOLED display.
The Galaxy Book is a slim model and offers some improvement from its predecessor. It has a 15.6-inch comfortable display that has anti-glare functionality to enhance the viewing experience. Design
Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, and Redmi Note 10 5G have the same design with a rectangle-shaped camera module, a punch-hole display, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. They are all made of polycarbonate; the Redmi Note 10 and the Note 10S have the IP53 certification which makes them splash resistant and dust resistant (but not in every market). The Redmi Note 10 5G has a slightly wider display with a diagonal of 6.5 inches.
Display
Redmi Note 10 and Note 10S come with the same display which is actually better than the panel found on the 5G variant. We are talking about an AMOLED panel with a peak brightness up to 1100 nits, a diagonal of 6.43 inches, and a Full HD+ resolution. The Redmi Note 10 5G offers a higher 90 Hz refresh rate, but it has an IPS panel with less impressive colors. Despite those AMOLED displays, as mentioned above, all the phones have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, but it is pretty fast and accurate.
Hardware/Software
The most complete hardware setup belongs to the Redmi Note 10 5G. The Mediatek Helio G95 found on the Redmi Note 10S provides a similar level of performance to the MediaTek Dimensity 700, but the latter supports 5G, while the Helio does not. Further, the Mediatek Dimensity 700 is built with a better 7 nm production process minimizing the energy consumption, while the Helio G95 is built at 12 nm. The Snapdragon 678 found on the vanilla Redmi Note 10 is even weaker than Helio G95, but it is built with a better 11 nm production process.
Camera
The most advanced cameras belong to the Redmi Note 10S. It has a better 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide camera, and a pair of 2 MP sensors for macros and depth calculation. The vanilla Redmi Note 10 has the same setup with the exception of the main camera, which is a 48 MP sensor.
Battery
These three handsets come with the same battery capacity: 5000 mAh. But the Redmi Note 10 should offer a longer battery life because of its components. The Redmi Note 10 5G should have a higher energy consumption due to its IPS display, despite its processor is built with a better production process. Redmi Note 10 5G also comes with a slower fast charging tech: you can get a power of 33W with Redmi Note 10 and 10S, while the 5G variant has just 18W.

But with the Redmi Note 10 5G you can get 5G and a better chipset, so do not underestimate it. You should opt for the Redmi Note 10 only if you need to save money as much as possible.
Embattled Chinese tech giant Huawei has released several teaser posters that hint at the launch of a new smart TV under a new category. The Huawei Smart Screen SE looks like a trimmed-down version of the high-end models and will come with more affordable pricing while retaining the premium features for which the brand’s smart TVs are known.
The teaser posters which were splashed on Vmall and Jingdong (JD.com) give us a glimpse of the smart TV as well as some hints of the features to expect onboard. For one, the Huawei Smart Screen SE will pack a pop-up camera that will definitely function as a web camera for video calls and other related functions. The smart TV is touted to arrive in two sizes – a 55-inch model that will be priced between 3,099 yuan – 3999 yuan (around $600) and a 65-inch version priced around 4,099 – 4,999 yuan (around $700).
The Smart Screen SE is expected to pack a 4K display resolution and will support multi-touch functions. The poster also shows that the Huawei Smart Screen SE will adopt a full-screen design with ultra-thin bezels on all four sides. It is also coming with Huawei’s self-developed color gamut enhancement technology. In addition, the screen is also expected to bring support for anti-reflective, anti-glare, anti-blue light technology and has zero color cast. The smart TV will run on Huawei’s custom HarmonyOS that will bring along several smart features.
Apart from the Smart Screen SE, Huawei is also expected to announce the FreeBuds 4 true wireless headsets, Mate View high-end monitors, and a router at the May 19th press conference.
Lenovo has never been a big player in the smartphone category. But the company used to sell some good budget smartphones that competed with Xiaomi’s Redmi lineup. Right now, the world’s largest PC maker’s only in-house developed phones are the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel series. Whereas, the other affordable handsets are merely rebranded Motorola phones. According to a new leak, the firm will be soon releasing another such rebadged device.
Popular leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore has teamed up with 91Mobiles to bring us information about the upcoming Lenovo K13 Note. As per him, this handset will be nothing but a rebadged Motorola Moto G20.
Hence, it will have exact same set of specifications and design. He has even shared renders of this phone in two colors (Pink, Blue).
The only differences between the Lenovo K13 Note and the Moto G20 will be the branding on the back panel and no 128GB variant for the former. The K13 Note will include a vertically placed ‘Lenovo’ logo at the bottom left corner and will lack the iconic ‘Motorola Batwing’ on the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Additionally, it’s not sure whether the Note will feature NFC, which is market-dependent on the Moto.
That said, the other features are said to be common on both. Therefore, the Lenovo K13 Note will come with a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and a dewdrop notch, UNISOC T700 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 48MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (depth) quad-camera setup, and a 13MP selfie camera.
The remaining specs of this device will include a MicroSD card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, IP53 rating, dedicated Google Assistant key, dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, Android 11, 5,000mAh battery, and 10W charging.
Unfortunately, the tipster doesn’t have info on when and in which markets the Lenovo K13 Note will be launched.
Chinese smartphone maker Realme has launched a cheaper variant of the budget Realme 8 5G with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The Realme 8 5G was launched in India back in April but was available in 4GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 14,999 (~$200) and an 8GB + 128GB variant priced at Rs. 16,999 (~$227). The new 4GB + 64GB variant brings even more affordability to an already affordable smartphone. It is priced at Rs. 13999 (~$191) and will go on sale on May 18th.
Apart from the new memory option, this variant still retains the same features as the higher memory options. As a reminder, the Realme 8 5G packs a 6.5-inch LCD display having an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Recently, a vivo smartphone called vivo Y76s was spotted on the 3C certification bureau, IMEI database, and CEIR database. One of these listings revealed the phone’s 18W charging support. Whereas, another said the handset to be limited to 4G. But now, this device’s TENAA certification confirms it to be a 5G smartphone.
According to TENAA, the upcoming vivo Y76s with model number V2111A will be a 5G handset. Hence, it should launch as ‘vivo Y76s 5G’.
As per the listing, the phone will feature a 6.58-inch display and a 4,910mAh battery (rated capacity). The device will come with dual-SIM and Android 11. However, it’s not known whether it will run Funtouch OS 11 or OriginOS.
Lastly, the listing says that the handset will measure 163.95 x 75.30 x 8.50mm in dimensions.
Usually, TENAA listings include the entire specs as well as images of smartphones. But at times, they get added gradually. Hence, the listing of vivo Y76s 5G does not have much information at the moment.
Anyway, we expect to learn more about this phone before its official announcement sometime in the near future. But it is worth noting that some vivo budget smartphones get a silent release in China. Hence, there’s a chance that vivo Y76s 5G may launch in a similar manner.

A vivo group smartphone with model number V2118A appeared on Google Play Console and 3C certification bureau last month. This device was said to come with iQOO branding. Now, weeks later, the name, as well as specifications of this phone, has been now confirmed by IMEI Database and TENAA.

According to the IMEI database, the vivo V2118A will launch as iQOO Neo3s. Going by the name, this handset will be the successor to last year’s iQOO Neo3.
As far as specs are concerned, this smartphone was spotted on Google Play Console with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, 8GB RAM, FHD+ (1080 x 2408 pixels) display, and Android 11 (OriginOS). Now, thanks to the device’s TENAA certification, we know more of its features.

The Microsoft Surface Duo is available on sale again, and this time, the dual screened has received a price slash of about half. The device is the company’s first self branded Android handset and is now available for a price of 699 US Dollars.
For those unaware, the device was first launched around seven months ago and was priced at 1,400 US Dollars. But just within a month of its launch, the tech giant started offering the device on a 200 US Dollar discount. Now, the dual display smartphone is available for the lowest ever pricing on BuyDig (Via ArsTechnica). Talking about the Surface Duo, the device is an ultra thin Android handset with dual displays that are joined by a 360 degree hinge, which also allows for a single screen mode of operation.
The device was not well received in the market and did not bring in great reviews either. It was stated to have an awkward form factor, along with a buggy software, exorbitant pricing, and other issues. The HONOR 50 series is expected to launch soon. Ahead of its release, the features of these phones have begun to pop on the internet. Their design as well as some specs leaked in the past few days. Now, these handsets have started receiving essential certifications as well.
HONOR 50 Series
According to popular leakster Digital Chat Station, two HONOR 5G smartphones have been certified by China’s 3C. As per the listings, these phones bear the model numbers NTH-AN00 and NRA-AN00 respectively.
Interestingly, the tipster does not call these devices the HONOR 50 series. But for some reason, other publications believe them to be HONOR 50 and HONOR 50 Pro respectively.
Anyway, the listings say that NTH-AN00 (possible HONOR 50) will ship with an HW-110600C00 66W charger. This is the same power adapter that comes bundled with the HONOR V40 series. In other words, the HONOR 50 will support 66W fast charging.
On the other hand, NRA-AN00 (possible HONOR 50 Pro) will come with an all-new HN-200500C00 100W charger. Hence, the HONOR 50 Pro could be the first smartphone from the brand to support 100W fast charging.
As per another tipster, the 100W charging on the HONOR 50 Pro could be based on Qualcomm Quick Charge 5. However, there’s no concrete proof for this claim.
That said, according to previous reports, the HONOR 50 series will sport two circular modules for rear cameras. The vanilla HONOR 50 is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, whereas the HONOR 50 Pro is said to powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
A new leak has just revealed the renders of the Meizu Watch. The new smart watch arrives with a curved display and a square dial, with its design resembling the Apple Watch.
The news arrives from an online post from known tipster @数码闲聊站 who also shared an image of renders of the Chinese smartphone maker’s smartwatch. Looking at the image shared on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website, we can observe the design of the wearables from the front, the back, and even the side. The leakster also added that the smart watch would arrive with the Flyme operating system and will allow users to download and install third party applications and more.
The blogger further added that the device will also be capable of playing music, offer activity tracking, mobile payment services and ecen support an eSIM to allow for calls. Since it is current generation smartwatch, we can also expect features like blood oxygen monitoring, heartbeat tracking, and more. Unfortunately, the tipster refrained from revealing any specific information regarding the Meizu Watch or any of its internal specifications.
The post claims that this is the official renders of the Meizu Watch and is equipped with a square dial. On the right, we can observe that a single button is mounted on the side along with what appears to be a mic. From the front, the device heavily resembles the Apple Watch. As per the YouTuber, the Cupertino based giant is planning on releasing the next generation AirPods through a Newsroom update along with a refresh to the site. Back in 2019, the iPhone maker had released the all new AirPods Pro in a similar manner through a press release on the website, although this is still an unconfirmed report so take it with a pinch of salt for now.
Talking about the new AirPods, these hearables are expected to feature an updated design that would be similar in design to the high end AirPods Pro but without the active noise cancellation. Alongside these new TWS earbuds, the company is expected to also announce a brand new tier to its music streaming service, dubbed the Apple Music HiFi. This version offers users high fidelity music. The rumor arrives after reports arrived earlier this week that it would be launching a high qualiy streaming service in the “coming weeks.”

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) is apparently seeking to raise its investment in the US for its planned chip factories. The is apparently aiming to further invest tens of billions of dollars into the US state of Arizona.
According to a Reutersreport, the world’s largest chip maker is aiming on raising the invesment in the region as talks in Europe falters. As per sources close to the mater, the firm’s investment plans are being closely watched amid the global semiconductor shortage and its plans in the US and Europe to subsidize chip production. For those unaware, the company had announced last year that it would be investing 10 billion US Dollars to 12 billion US Dollars to build a chip factory in Phoenix, Arizona.
Earlier this month, it was also reported that the company’s chip factory would only be the first of six planned plants at the site. Furthermore, TSMC officials are reportedly debating if the next plants should be an advanced facility that will be produce 3nm based chipmaking process. The 3nm process is a more advanced and efficient than the 5nm technology that is currently used in the first factory. One of the sources stated that the more dvanced 3nm plant could cost anywhere between 23 billion to 25 billion US Dollars.
The new chip plants will also enable the company to rival other semiconductor giants like Intel and Samsung Electronics for subsidies from the US government. Recently, the US President Joe Biden announced a 50 billion US Dollars in fuding to grow the local semiconductor manufacturing industry.

However, fresh developments reveal that it could be working on a phone called the Redmi Note 8 (2021) for select markets. A new Xiaomi phone with model number M1908C3JGG has appeared in the database of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification site. An IMEI database listing of the phone reveals that this device could be a new Redmi Note 8 series smartphone.
Xiaomi tipster Kacper Skrzypek who was first to sport the IMEI listing claimed that this phone may debut as the Redmi Note 8 (2021). He added that this moniker was found on one of the Xiaomi websites.
According to Twitter handle Xiaomiui, the Redmi Note 8 (2021) is codenamed as Biloba and it is planned for limited markets like global, EU, and Russia. Apart from the M1908C3JGG model number, it appears that the M1908C3J1 also belongs to the same phone.
Xiaomi claimed that the Redmi Note 8 (2021) has an IPS LCD screen that delivers a high refresh rate 120Hz. It has a waterdrop notch display, but its exact size is not known. The Helio G85 could be present under the helm of the device. It is expected to arrive with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB of built-in storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
There is no word on the front camera of the Redmi Note 8 (2021), but its rear camera setup may include a 48-megapixel main camera, an ultrawide lens, a depth sensor, and a tele-macro camera. The FCC listing has confirmed that it has a 4,000mA battery and it will offer MIUI 12.5 out-of-the-box experience.
