Since last month, Nubia has been teasing on the arrival of the Red Magic 6. Reports have revealed that the Red Magic 6 could be arriving in a Pro and a lighter version in China. Today, the company confirmed that the Red Magic 6 will be breaking cover on March 4 in China.
The official poster shown below was shared by Nubia President Ni Fei. According to him, the Red Magic 6 has four major features such as display, fast charge, touch, and fan and its performance are comparable to F1 cars. The launch event will kick off at 7 PM on March 4.
A reliable tipster from China claimed that the Red Magic 6 will come with a display that will offer a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480Hz. As it is already known, the smartphone will carry support for 120W fast charging, and it is expected to feature a better-performing centrifugal fan. A recent report had revealed that the smartphone will be equipped with a completely revamped cooling system.
Apart from a “strengthened” fan, the Red Magic 6 will also feature a 9-axis spatial sensor for tracking the phone’s movement in different directions. Recent reports have revealed that the company is collaborated with Tencent Games to bring improved gaming experience.
The two variants of the Nubia Red Magic 6 that were recently certified by the 3C authority of China are NX669J and NX669J-P. The former was spotted with a 66W charger, whereas the latter seems to be a Pro model as it was seen with a 120W charger. A previously released posted by the brand revealed that the Red Magic 6 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.
Apple is aggressively pushing to diversify its production lined for the iPhone, iPad, and others from China. The company already manufactures some iPhone models in India but there are reports that Apple is looking at moving some of its production to India.
A report by Reuters says the US company is lobbying the Indian government to reach a fair deal that could see the iPads get manufactured in India for the first time. The report indicated that the Indian government was planning to roll out an incentive program that aimed at boosting the country’s computer export and that is something Aple is interest in. However, the Cupertino-based company is reportedly looking to negotiate a better deal.
According to Reuters, Apple is expected to dole out an initial budgetary sum of up to Rs. 70 billion ($964 million) over five years. The company is reportedly asking for that to be almost tripled to Rs. 200 billion. This is partly due to concerns that the Indian supply chain lacks the required capacityto meet up Apple’s demand.
As stated earlier, Apple already manufactures some iPhone models in India since 2018, in reaction to a government policy that imposes high tariffs on imported phones and other products. This is part of the “Make in India” initiative which is designed to grow local content. Also, Apple is increasing lookig to move its entire production out of China. A report by Asian Nikkei indicated that the US company was planning to move some iPad production to Vietnam this year. It was noted that this would be the first time such would be happening anywhere else.
Reuters quotes persons familiar with the matter to have disclosed that there is a strong possibility that iPads assembly will shift to India “as early as this year” and one of Apple’s present contractors will handle the assembly. As the moment, Apple has contractual agreements with Foxconn, Pegatron and Wistron in India. We doubt if Wistron would be responsible for that considering the dust generated by its work conditions recently which necessitated an investigation by Apple.
A new HMD Global entry-level went global: the Nokia 3.4. Among the countries in which the new budget phone made its debut, there is India, but the compact Nokia 3.4 has a lot of rivals in the nation. One of them is surely the Realme C15, a best-seller with amazing specifications offered at an incredibly affordable price. Is Nokia still able to compete with one of the fastest-growing brands in the whole tech world? This comparison between Nokia 3.4 and Realme C15 will show you all the main pros and cons of these two budget phones and tell you which one is the most suitable for your needs.
If you want the most modern and original design, then Nokia 3.4 might be a better choice for you. While the Realme C15 comes with a waterdrop notch, the Nokia 3.4 has a punch-hole design making it more futuristic. Further, the design of the back cover is more original with that circular camera module, even though not everyone may like it. Further, the Nokia 3.4 is a more compact phone, it is even thinner and lighter than the Realme C15. Both the handsets feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a plastic unibody design.
Display
The displays of the Nokia 3.4 and Realme C15 are pretty disappointing for those who need great image quality, but you can hardly get better panels with entry-level phones. These handsets feature classic IPS panels with HD+ resolutions. The Nokia 3.4 has a smaller display with a 6.39-inch diagonal, while Realme C15 is bigger with its 6.5-inch display. If you are a power user, the Realme C15 is more comfortable for you, while if you are an average user, you might like the Nokia 3.4 more due to its compact size making it more usable with one hand and better to keep in a pocket.
Specs & Software
The Nokia 3.4 is fueled by the Snapdragon 460 mobile platform, while the Nokia 3.4 has a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. The Snapdragon 460 is actually more powerful than the Helio G35 and, with both the phones featuring up to 4 GB of RAM, the Nokia 3.4 wins the performance comparison. On the other hand, with the Realme C15, you can get more internal storage: up to 128 GB. The Nokia 3.4 has a user interface close to stock Android which will get supported in the long term just like all the other smartphones released by HMD Global.
Camera
The Realme C15 houses a more complete camera department than Nokia 3.4. But there is only one important difference between these two phones’ cameras. We are talking about the 8 MP ultrawide lens with a viewing angle of 119 degrees you can find onboard the Realme C15: you do not get it with the Nokia 3.4. For the rest, they are almost the same: the rear cameras include a 13 MP main sensor and a pair of sensors with 2 MP resolutions for macros and depth. As the selfie camera, you get an 8 MP front snapper.
A key difference between the Realme C15 and Nokia 3.4 is the battery. The former packs a huge 6000 mAh battery which can last more than three days with moderate usage. Nokia 3.4 is still a good battery phone with its 4000 mAh battery, but it can not compete with the Realme C15 which is actually one of the best battery phones out there. Further, the Realme C15 has 18W fast charging, while Nokia 3.4 does not support fast charging.
Price
Realme C15 is available with street prices up to Rs. 8,999 / $124 in India, while Nokia 3.4 costs Rs. 11,999 / $165 in the 4/64 GB configuration. If we exclude the hardware, the software, and the compact dimensions of the Nokia 3.4, the Realme C15 is actually a superior device with its wider display, better camera department, and huge battery with fast charging support.

A few days back, in a massive escalation of the brewing tensions between Facebook and the Australian government, the social networking company effectively banned all news content that originated from Australia from being seen by Aussies. This was a direct response to the new law that sought to compel Facebook and others to pay publishers for news content displayed on their platforms.
The ban seriously affected many government agencies and departments, who were unable to provide information to the public on relevant issues of concern. The fire department, the postal authority, and several other departments had to bear the brunt of the shut-out.
The ripples trailing the action of Facebook to ban news content in Australia has started reverberating, as the government has responded by claiming that the action of Facebook had severely endangered public safety, even as the country continues to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
The government, through a high-ranking official, Josh Frydenberg, stated that the government will not sit idly as Facebook attempts to bully Australia to tow its line by jettisoning the new legislation. Frydenberg claimed that public safety was gravely trampled upon by the action of Facebook, as persons seeking information on vaccines for the COVID-19 were unable to get it because of the news shut down by Facebook.
The information blackout is projected to have affected millions of Australians who rely on most of these government pages for vital information and warnings on different aspects that enhance public safety. Although the position of Facebook was to ban content from news publishers, several of these public institutions and agencies were the ones that took a huge hit by the action, even though they may not be considered as news producers in the actual sense.
Although Facebook had issued a statement that all accounts that were wrongfully affected by the ban would be restored, there are reports that the shut-out still persists at this moment in some areas, while most of the public pages including those of health facilities had been restored.

But it is expected to make its global debut very soon since it has started receiving necessary certifications. Last week, this device was certified by EEC along with four other phones. Two of those handsets with model numbers HJC and NZA have now received the FCC certification as well.
HONOR HJC | Source: TENAA
The upcoming HONOR HJC and HONOR NZA are a mid-range and a budget smartphone respectively. Their FCC certifications do not reveal anything about them, just like EEC. However, since they have also cleared TENAA, we know some of their specs but their marketing names are a mystery.

Apple brought back the MagSafe with the iPhone 12 series last year. It then launched MagSafe Duo that charges iPhone and Apple Watch simultaneously. The company is also expected to bring this tech to the Macbooks soon. Now, a report by Bloomberg says that Apple is working on a MagSafe Battery pack.
Rep. Image: MagSafe Duo Charger Credit: Apple
According to the report, Apple is working on a battery pack that can be magnetically attached to the iPhone externally. For the unware, MagSafe is a proprietary standard that Apple uses on chargers to juice up the iPhones wirelessly through a magnetically-attached accessory.
These connectors have also paved the way for other accessories like MagSafe Leather sleeves with attachable wallets. Anyway, the Battery Pack has reportedly been in the works for at least a year which poses doubts on our minds if it will indeed launch.
That said, the reason for the delay seems to be caused by software issues, compatibility & usability when using a case, and more. Speaking of which, this Battery pack wouldn’t serve as a protective case but essentially provide the extra juice for the device.
There are chances that the exterior of the Battery pack could have Leather textures for extra durability. Apple’s MagSafe has had its fair share of issues and there are instances where it could even hinder implanted pacemakers of patients.
Anyway, evidence for the ‘Battery Pack’ have also been found on the recent iOS 14.5 Beta 2. Whether or not Apple brings it to the stores, it does look like a nifty little addition especially for devices like iPhone 12 Mini with a teeny-tiny battery.
Apart from the already selling MagSafe accessories, the Cupertino giant is also expected to add in-car attachments to the tally of the MagSafe products. Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly holding an event next month, i.e., March 16 to launch products like AirTags, iPad Pro 2021.

Social networking app Clubhouse became a street session recently when it started courting increasing interests. The growing popularity of the app has even prompted social media giants Twitter and Facebook to commence work on similar features. Although the app is exclusive to iOS at the moment, that has not slowed down its popularity.
A research firm App Annie has released data that shows that the Clubhouse app has seen over 8.1 million downloads globally so far as of February 16. What makes the surprising is that as of February 1, the app had only been downloaded 3.5 million times. Thus, the number of users grew by more than 100% within a 16-day period.
The research reveals that the app’s popularity is widespread in the UK, Germany, Japan, Brazil, and Turkey. However, that doesn’t explain the sudden exponential growth. What we can suggest is responsible for the high numbers may be the growing number of influential personalities that have been shown to use the app such as Tesla founder Elon Musk and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, both of whom have already created a Clubhouse account and interacted with other users on the app. There are several other high-profile personalities and celebrities who constantly interact with other users using the new app.
The Clubhouse app is a unique social networking app that is based entirely on audio chats. The app allows users to create and join rooms populated with other people who can all interact with each other in real-time. Privacy isn’t an issue as it is not possible to record the conversations.
The company is reportedly working hard to make the app available in a stable version and also to allow more users to register without an invitation. Clubhouse is also looking to roll out the app for Android users.
Chinese Smartphone maker Vivo entered Europe last year with the launch of Vivo X51 5G and a few other devices. Now, the company has revealed that it will double its presence in the region by this year and launch more premium flagship devices.
Vivo has officially entered the Romania and Czech markets. Before 2021, it hopes to present in as many as 12 countries in the European region. This is 6 more than the status last year. It also says that it will bring the smartphones with the ‘ZEISS‘ association to these markets this year.
If you recall, Vivo recently partnered with ZEISS, a Germany-based Optoelectronics company for a Global Imaging partnership. Currently, the Vivo X60 series of devices have cameras optimized by ZEISS. However, it is not clear which models will make it to Europe.
There is also a possibility that the Vivo X60 could launch with tweaks under different names just like the way Vivo did last year. It launched X51 5G, a tweaked version of the Vivo X50 Pro from China.
Anyway, the company also hints that it would partner with UEFA to bring its new drives during the UEFA EURO 2020 and 2024 football championships. The former event has been postponed due to the pandemic and is scheduled to start on 11 June 2021.
Apart from Romania and the Czech, Vivo also says that it will venture into countries like Serbia and Austria by H1 2021. Let’s wish Vivo Good Luck as it expands the ever-growing European Smartphone market in 2021.

Samsung recently refreshed the Galaxy Watch Active 2 at the January 14 event with a new Phantom Violet Color variant. It is already said to be working on the next Galaxy Watch for 2021. A report by Galaxyclub.nl reveals that Samsung is indeed working on the two Galaxy Watch models. Further, a new tips says that Samsung could ditch Tizen OS for Android on its Smartwatches.
According to the report, Samsung’s two new Watches have the model numbers SM-R86x SM-R87x. If you recall, the latest Galaxy Watch3 and Galaxy Watch Active2 both have SM-R8xx as model numbers. Hence, the new Watches could be their successors in 2021.
Anyway, the Watches will have different sizes as before, and available in Bluetooth and Cellular variants which is a no-brainer. Meanwhile, a tipster has hinted that Samsung might ditch Tizen OS on its future Smartwatches.
Ice Universe has said on Twitter that Samsung’s New Watch will use Android(i.e, Wear OS) instead of the Tizen platform. Samsung developed the Tizen OS with a view of building a broader & unique ecosystem for itself. It expanded the platform to various products like Smartwatches, TVs etc.
Samsung's new watch will use Android to replace Tizen.
In fact, the company’s Tizen OS is the leading Smart TV platform Globally. Having said that, the reason for Samsung opting for Wear OS could be due to the lack of third-party apps for Galaxy Watches.
Either way, Samsung’s next Watch rumored as Galaxy Watch Active 3/ Galaxy Watch 4 will likely get a blood sugar monitoring feature. Let’s wait for more leaks to know about the upcoming Galaxy Watch models in 2021.

Now, the company is planning to unveil the second-generation version of the impressive technology. We won’t wait for too long to meet with the technology as MWC Shanghai is scheduled to hold next week from February 23 – 25, 2021.
The new camera technology is expected to be the first to utilize the under-screen 3D structured light. The technology will likely be unveiled inside the Axon 30 Pro. This time around, the device will be a flagship model said to pack a Snapdragon 888 chipset. The first-generation under-screen camera technology was launched onboard a mid-range device (Axon 20). The Axon 20 5G comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and a 6.92-inch FHD+ screen.
However, the shift to a flagship model could be an indication that the company has perfected the technology.
GSMA had earlier announced that the 2021 Mobile World Congress Shanghai which is the Asian version will return this year after a hiatus occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition is scheduled to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from February 23 to 25, 2021.
