Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi K40 series. A reputed Chinese tipster had claimed in the recent past an upcoming Redmi phone is equipped with Dimensity 1000+. According to the rumor mill, it could be the vanilla model in the Redmi K40 lineup. The same tipster seems to have shared some information on its display and battery sizes.
The leak does not mention the Redmi K40 5G moniker, but the tipster to be talking about the same phone since it could be the only rumored Dimensity 1000+ 5G phone to arrive soon. The leak states that the phone houses a display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
The alleged Redmi K40 could be equipped with a notch-less display and pop-up selfie camera design. The handset is expected to house a 4,500mAh battery.
Recently, a Xiaomi phone with model number M2006J10C was spotted at the radio frequency certification in China. It only revealed that it is a 5G-ready device. The handset also passed China’s 3C certification. It revealed that it may ship with a 33W charger. Rumors have it that the Redmi’s Dimensity 1000+ powered smartphone will debut in July. Hence, there is a possibility that the Chinese firm may soon begin teasing on the arrival of the Redmi K40 series.
Some reports have claimed that the Redmi K40 5G will be equipped with a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel lens as its primary shooter. The same lens is available in the Redmi K30 5G’s rear-mounted quad camera setup. Probably, the Redmi K40 5G may feature an enhanced quad-camera system while retaining the primary lens from the predecessor model.

The Redmi 9 series from Xiaomi is rumored to include devices such as Redmi 9, Redmi 9C, Redmi 9C NFC edition, and Redmi 9A. Among these, the Chinese firm has already unveiled the Redmi 9 in multiple markets like Spain, Malaysia, and China. Recently, the Redmi 9A was spotted at certification platforms like China’s 3C and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the U.S. Also, the key specs of the device also appeared on the Xiaomi Philippines website. These appearances suggested that the launch of the Redmi 9A could be near. The official released by the Chinese firm reveals a big battery and a big display are major highlights of the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C. Also, the image suggests that these phones will come with teardrop notch displays. On the same date, the competitor phone Realme C11 will be announced in markets like Malaysia and Indonesia.

OPPO Enco W11, the company’s bud-style true wireless earphones, are set to launch in India on 29th July. The earphones will be available for purchase through the online marketplace Flipkart for a price of ₹2,499, which is approximately $33.
Earlier, the OPPO Enco W11 were reported to launch in India on 25th June, carrying a price tag of ₹2,999. But the new banner of the TWS earphones on Flipkart has confirmed the updated details.
The Enco W11 will be sold as a cheaper version of the OPPO Enco W31 which is already available in the Indian market. Both of them feature a bud-style design and not the typical AirPods-style design.
As for the specifications, the OPPO Enco W11 features 8mm drivers with support for AAC audio format. In an impressive feature, the company says that the earphones also offer noise cancellation feature for calls.
The device uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect with devices with a maximum range of 10m. Instead of the master-slave connection (found on the Redmi AirDots), both the earbuds connect directly with the device.
Similar to other such products, this one too comes with support for touch controls which is helpful in carrying out actions like single-tap play/pause, double-tap for changing tracks, double-tap to answer or end a phone call, triple-tap for triggering the smart voice assistant on the smartphone, and controls for adjusting the volume.
According to the company, the OPPO Enco W11, which is IP55-rated, offers five hours of battery life on a single charge. However, with the addition of the charging case, the battery life on the device can be improved to 20 hours.
Apple has been in the news for the past couple of weeks, thanks to an array of announcements during its annual Worldwide Developers Conference and leaks related to the upcoming iPhone 12 series.
Now, Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most reliable analysts when it comes to Apple-related stuff, has revealed the upcoming new iPad models for this year as well as next year.
Kuo has said that Apple will be releasing a new 10.8-inch iPad model in the second half of this year and a new 8.5-inch iPad next year, which we are expecting to be a part of the iPad Mini lineup.
It remains to be seen if the 10.8-inch version is a part of the iPad lineup or the iPad Air lineup. As for the 8.5-inch model, he had previously confirmed it to be a part of the iPad Mini lineup and a successor to the iPad Mini launched in March last year.
Recently, a new Apple power adapter was leaked online with the ratings of 20W. Kuo says that Apple will be including this new charger in the box for both the upcoming iPad models.
This is interesting given that there are reports hinting that Apple could be removing Earpods as well as power adapter from the in-box contents with the upcoming iPhones. It means that users would need to purchase them separately.
Apple is expected to launch four models in the iPhone 12 lineup — two high-end models with 6.7-inch and 6.1-inch display and two standard and low-end models with 5.7-inch and a 6.1-inch display. Along with the 5G models, the company is also expected to launch two 4G models, with a starting price of $549.
On July 2,Honor will be launching the Honor 30 Lite (Youth Edition) 5G as well as the Honor X10 Max smartphones. Both phones have appeared on TENAA with their entire specifications in the recent weeks. The official renders of the Honor 30 Lite 5G have surfaced to reveal the three color editions of the smartphone.
Honor 30 Lite (Youth Edition) 5G
As can be seen in the renders, the Honor 30 Lite 5G will be arriving in three attractive gradient color choices. The images show that the handset is equipped with a waterdrop notch screen and its rear is fitted with a rectangle-shaped camera module that includes a triple camera unit and an LED flash.
The 6.5-inch IPS LCD display of the Honor 30 Lite 5G supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The smartphone draws power from Dimensity 800 chipset. The handset may come with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of native storage.
Honor 30 Lite (Youth Edition) 5G

The rear side of the device has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. It has a side-facing fingerprint reader. Rumors are rife that it could be priced around 1,600 Yuan (~$226) in China
If there is any doubt about the name Apple‘s upcoming iPhone models will adopt, that may have just been put to rest by T-Mobile Netherland’s listing. The carrier has created landing pages for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Max accessories on its official website.
The models are listed under the phone accessories search section and when clicked, the results show several available protective cases for all four iPhone 12 models. The names are already in the open courtesy of several noted tipsters and we even exclusively posted the protective cases for all the four models a while back. However, this is the first time that a carrier was officially confirming the names of Apple’s unreleased 2020 iPhone models.
Apple‘s 2020 base iPhone 12 will feature a 5.4-inch display while the top-end model will pack a 6.7-inch screen. Going by previous rumour, iPhone 12 Pro will have a triple camera setup and a Lidar sensor at the rear but the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Plus/Max is rumoured to feature a dual rear camera setup. The base model is expected to start at around $549 making it potentially the cheapest flagship iPhone in years.
This year’s flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor are selling for much higher than their predecessors and one of the factors is the price of the chipset. A new report from South Korea says, come next year, folks should expect to pay even more for phones.
The Snapdragon 865’s successor is reported to cost up to $250
According to IT Home, a Korean publication has reported that an order document signed by Xiaomi revealed that the price of the Snapdragon 875 Mobile Platform is around $250. The price is said to include both the application processor and the Snapdragon X60 5G modem.
The source reports that deliberations are on-going at Xiaomi regarding the price of their future flagships.
The Snapdragon 865 is currently shipping to manufacturers for between $150 and $160. This means the Snapdragon 875 is about $100 more expensive.
The chipset is said to likely feature a Super-Core Cortex-X1 processor that has 30% better performance than the Cortex-A77. This super-core will be combined with three Cortex-A78 cores and four efficiency cores in a 1+3+4 core arrangement.
Xiaomi currently offers some of the cheapest flagship phones under its sub-brand Redmi. While it will still try to do so, buyers should brace up to pay a little more than they did this year.
The Honor 30 series is about to get bigger with the launch of the Honor 30 Youth Edition 5G (Honor 30 Lite 5G). The phone has been in the news since May, and now it has an official launch date.

Leaks have revealed the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 800 processor. It will also have a 48MP primary rear camera, a 16MP selfie camera, a 4000mAh battery, and support for 22.5W fast charging.
The Honor 30 Youth Edition 5G is expected to be announced outside China but as the Honor 30 Lite 5G. The launch should happen after its debut in China.

With this development, we can expect that the MIUI 12 Global update will start rolling out soon.

Design
If you desire a premium design that has nothing to envy to the most beautiful flagships out there, go for the Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G. It has a sturdy glass back protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and an aluminum frame. It is one of the lightest and thinnest last-generation phones. And it even has a very high screen-to-body ratio, with a punch-hole display and extremely narrow bezels. It is one of the most attractive phones in terms of aesthetics. In order to offer a flagship-grade hardware department, Honor Play4 Pro and Realme X3 come with cheaper materials. The Honor Play4 Pro has a gaming-centric design, while Realme X3 is more elegant.
Display
Even if we talk about displays, Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G wins the comparison. Unlike its two opponents, it has an AMOLED panel instead of an IPS one. It has a 90 Hz refresh rate, a high brightness, and the HDR10+ standard to improve the image quality. The second place goes to the Realme X3: it has a Full HD+ IPS panel like the Honor Play4 Pro, but it comes with a high 120 Hz refresh rate, the highest of this trio. It also sports a slightly wider panel.
Hardware/Software
The highest level of performance is provided by the Realme X3 since it packs a more powerful Snapdragon 855+ paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.0 storage. It is faster, better for gaming and multi-tasking. Right after, we got the Honor Play4 Pro which is still a flagship phone when it comes to hardware, but its Kirin 990 is inferior to the Snapdragon 855+. Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G has an upper-midrange hardware side since it is fueled by the Snapdragon 765G mobile platform, but it is the only to support 5G connectivity. Android 10 is out of the box like almost every device launched in this period.
Camera
While Realme X3 and Honor Play4 Pro are just midrange camera phones, the Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is a real high-end camera phone. It is equipped with a rear triple camera including a 48 MP f/1.7 main sensor with OIS, a 13 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 12 MP ultrawide sensor which can also be used as a dedicated video camera. The stabilization is amazing in both photos and videos. Even the front camera is impressive with its 32 MP resolution. Honor Play4 Pro is still an above-average camera phone with its 40 MP main sensor and a telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom, as well as a dual ultrawide front camera. Realme X3 lacks OIS, but it comes with a telephoto sensor and a dual ultrawide front camera. The main sensor is a midrange Samsung GW1 with a 64 MP resolution.
Battery
Honor Play4 Pro should be the handset with the longest battery life because it features a standard refresh rate. Further, it is the only one to feature reverse charging. Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is the fastest-charging one with a 65W power.
Price
Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G is priced about €470/$527 in China, Honor Play4 Pro starts from €363/$407, and Realme X3 is priced at about €294/$330 in its base variant. The winner of this comparison is Oppo Reno4 Pro 5G: despite it is the only one not featuring a flagship-class hardware department, it has better cameras, a better display, a more premium design, and it is the only one with 5G. The value for money award goes to the Realme X3.
If you want a 5G phone with a pretty large display, then the upcoming Honor X10 Max should be on your radar. The phone is being touted as the 5G phone with the biggest display. Ahead of the phone’s launch, live photos showing all three color variants it will be available in have been posted on Weibo.
The Honor X10 Max will come in black, blue, and purple as seen in the images below. The phone has stereo speakers (speaker grille at the top and bottom), an audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

Honor X10 Max
The phone is also shown to have two cameras, one of which is a 48MP sensor. The writing on the camera housing reads “Super Night Vision” which means it has enhanced features for taking pictures in low-light. The pictures were posted by Digital Chat Station and he added that the phone has support for multi-functional NFC too.
None of the images show the front of the phone but an earlier leak already revealed the Honor X10 Max’ 7.02-inch FHD+ screen has a waterdrop notch. It has also been reported that the display uses RGBW technology which enhances the brightness and reduces power consumption.
Honor will ship the phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor, a 5000mAh battery, and support for 22.5W fast charging. It will also run Magic UI based on Android 10 out of the box when it launches on July 2.
The OnePlus Nord is an upcoming mid-range phone that is expected to be the first of a new line of affordable smartphones from the manufacturer. With a release scheduled for July, OnePlus has begun teasing the device and dropping bits of information.
Last week, it was officially revealed that the smartphone will have dual front-facing cameras, which is a first for a OnePlus phone. This info means the OnePlus Nord will not look like the renders that leaked back in December.
What if the OnePlus Nord looks like the Reno4 5G?
Lately, there are rumors flying around that the OnePlus Nord might actually be a rebadged OPPO phone (probably OPPO Reno4 5G) and that will not be a big surprise. OnePlus is not new to launching phones with a similar design to an existing OPPO phone. The OnePlus 5 and the OPPO R11 is a great example.
Of course, the phone won’t be a blatant copy as OnePlus will add some features and ship the phone with OxygenOS rather than ColorOS. However, it will be easy to tell that the design is not original.
For today’s poll, we want to know if you will still purchase the OnePlus Nord if it turns out to be a rebadged OPPO phone? So do take the poll below and also let us know what you think about rebadged phones.
Realme has announced a new colorway for the Realme Narzo 10. The new color variant comes almost a week after the manufacturer announced a 4GB RAM + 54GB version of the Realme Narzo 10A.
The new color is called “That Blue” and the first sale is scheduled for June 30 at noon. The price tag remains unchanged at ₹11,999 (~$159).
The Realme Narzo 10 was announced in May in India as a rebadged version of the Realme 6i that launched in Myanmar in March. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and reverse charging. It also has a USB-C port and an audio jack and ships with Android 10 pre-installed.
Apple has through a new security patch on the latest iOS 14 exposed the number of smartphone apps that read contents of users’ clipboards whenever they are on screen. Popular video-sharing app TikTok is among the apps involved it that practice.
The popular video-sharing app had earlier been caught in this act but in March, TikTok told the Telegraph that the practice will be stopped in a few weeks. Apparently, that didn’t happen the new iOS14 feature that alerts users when an app tries to access the clipboard detected it still does. Other apps that also access users’ clipboards include Overstock, Accuweather, AliExpress, Patreon, Call of Duty Mobile and Google News.
A TikTok spokesman clarified that a feature on the app which is designed to identify repetitive and spammy behaviour is the culprit. He also disclosed that a new update has been submitted to the Apple App store which removes the anti-spam feature which accesses the clipboard. However, it wasn’t stated when the update will be available on Android devices.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch in July. Earlier this week, reputed leakster had shared a press render of the Galaxy Watch 3. The tipster has now shared high-quality press renders of the smartwatch to reveal its color variants.
The new renders show that the Galaxy Watch 3 will be arriving black and bronze color editions. While the latter appears like rose gold, Blass claims that the color variant will be called Bronze. The Bronze model will come in 41mm size and the black variant will come in 45mm size. In the second image, the ‘Wed 22’ date mentioned in the watch face suggests that Samsung may announce it on July 22 that falls on a Wednesday.
Past reports have revealed that the Galaxy Watch 3 will be equipped with stainless steel or titanium chassis. The display will be protected by Gorillas Glass DX and it has a rotatable bezel. It will come with MIL-STD-810G durability and 5ATM water resistance.
The 41mm Galaxy Watch 3 (SM-R840 model number) will have a 247mAh battery and 1.2-inch display. On the other side, the 45mm variant (SM-R850 model number) will have a 340mAh battery and a 1.4-inch screen. The Galaxy Watch 3 will support wireless charging.

Last year, OnePlus entered the smart TV segment by announcing the OnePlus Q1 TV and OnePlus Q1 Pro TV. These premium offerings were priced at Rs. 69,900 (~$924) and Rs. 99,900 (~$1,321) in India, respectively. Recently, OnePlus confirmed that it will be introducing more affordable smart TV in India on July 2. Rumors surrounding the upcoming OnePlus TV have claimed that it will be arriving with a starting price of less than Rs. 20,000 (~$264). A new tweet from OnePlus suggests that the Chinese firm could be announcing its next smart TV in three sizes.
Earlier this month, the Bluetooth SIG authority certified 32-inch and 43-inch editions of its upcoming OnePlus TV. The official tweet from the company suggests that 32-inch model could be priced Rs. 19,999 (~$264) or less. The 43-inch may cost Rs. 29,999 (~$397) or less.
It's all that you need at a price that you want. Can you guess the price of the upcoming OnePlus TV Series? #SmarterTV#OnePlusTV
The Rs. 4X,999 pricing could belong to a larger 55-inch edition. These three TVs could be a part of a new TV lineup from the company. The 32-inch model may arrive with support for HD resolution. The other two models may support Full HD and Quad HD resolution, respectively. With such pricing, OnePlus is expected to rival the likes of Xiaomi, Nokia, and Vu in India.
The pre-bookings of the upcoming OnePlus TV have started on Amazon India. Those who pre-book it will be able to take advantage of the 2-year extended warranty for free.
The detailed specs of the three models are under wraps. The company has confirmed that the new TV has a 6.9mm super-slim body and it offers a screen-to-body ratio of 95 percent. This indicates that it will be equipped with very thin bezels. It will arrive with support for 93 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. Also, it will carry support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom has launched in Europe and India but it is yet to make its way to China. While there is no official confirmation regarding when that will happen, there is a high chance the Chinese variant will have support for 5G and come with a different chipset.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom is powered by a Snapdragon 855+ processor. While there are phones powered with that chipset with support for 5G, Realme decided to not go down that route. However, if the company plans on keeping the affordable price tag of the phone while adding support for 5G, it may have to go for a less-powerful processor.
The Chinese leaker that goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo said in a post that Realme’s options for a 5G version of the Realme X3 SuperZoom are the Snapdragon 765G or Dimensity 800.
It remains to be seen if Realme will launch the phone in China in the first place, but if it does, it will be better to launch it with support for 5G. And to do that, a mid-range 5G chipset will be its best bet so it can keep the price tag low.

The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and the device is preloaded with Android 10 OS. The handset achieved 539 in the single-core test of Geekbench 5. It recorded a score of 2186 in the multi-core test.

I love desk lamps, and if it were possible I’ll buy one every month. Back in April, Midea announced a rechargeable desk lamp that also has a fan and a make-up mirror built-in for just under $15. Now they are back with another lamp that has a design that kids will love.
Midea’s new desk lamp moves away from the usual white, gray, or black color finish that most desk lamps have to a bright yellow colorway. For a lamp targeted at kids, they possibly can’t go wrong with that color.
However, the color is just half of what makes this lamp cool. Midea has taken inspiration from Lego bricks in designing the lamp. As you can see, the hinge at the top looks a Lego brick. The base of the lamp also is also designed to hold lego bricks so kids can customize their lamps. Neat, right?
Coming to the features of the lamp; Midea didn’t say the number of LEDs packed into the lamp, but the lamp has an area of 210 x 210 millimeters and a color temperature of 4000K.
The base is home to four buttons including a timer button and you can adjust the brightness with a touch slider underneath. Unfortunately, this doesn’t have a built-in battery but it has a fairly long cord that measures 180 centimeters in length.
The lamp is available for purchase on the Youpin Store for ¥499 (~$71). Yeah, not the cheapest of lamps but if you fancy the design which definitely deviates from the norm, you should go for it.
