The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to launch next month in India, but it may debut first in China later this month. The rumor mill has already revealed many of its key specifications. Now, a fresh leak by tipster Panda is Bald claims that the Vivo X Fold 5 will be cheaper than its predecessor, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.
Vivo X Fold 5 to be priced below the X Fold 3 Pro

For reference, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro debuted last year with a price tag of 9,999 Yuan ($1,390) in China. As seen in the screenshot above, the tipster suggests that the upcoming X Fold 5 will carry a more affordable price.
The Vivo X Fold 5v is expected to compete with the likes of the Oppo Find N5 and Honor Magic V5 in China. The Oppo Find N5 launched earlier this year at 8,999 Yuan ($1,250), while the Magic V5 is yet to go official. There’s a possibility that the X Fold 5’s pricing may be in line with the Find N5.
