Nothing Phone (3a) secures TRDA certification ahead of launch

Nothing is gearing up to launch its next mid-range smartphone, the Phone (3a). Ahead of its set March 4 debut, the device has now surfaced on the TDRA certification website, confirming its name and model number but revealing no details about its technical specifications.

The TDRA listing identifies the device with the model number A059 and confirms the “Phone (3a)” moniker. Despite the lack of detailed information from the certification, recent leaks and teasers have provided some insight into what the device may offer.

One of the notable features teased by Nothing is what appears to be a dedicated camera button, like the iPhone 16 series. Besides this, here’s what we know about the smartphone.

Rumored Specifications of the Nothing Phone (3a)

The Phone (3a) is expected to feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, which should deliver reliable performance for everyday tasks and light gaming.

The device is rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup, including a telephoto lens—a first for a Nothing phone. The Phone (3a) will also have a Glyph Interface on the back. And keeping all things powered will be a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro

Given the company’s history with the A-series devices, the Phone (3a) is likely to target the mid-range segment.

Despite these leaks, Nothing has not officially confirmed the Phone (3a)’s specifications. As with any unverified information, it is advisable to approach these details cautiously until official announcements are made.

With the release window approaching, further details and official confirmations are likely to surface in the coming days. We will keep you updated as more details emerge.

iPhone SE 4 to go on sale next week, arriving with 5 major changes

Apple hasn’t launched a new SE model since it launched the iPhone SE back in 2022. According to a Bloomberg report by Mark Gurman, the current iPhone SE has been discontinued due to USB-C regulations in the EU. Therefore, the arrival of the iPhone SE (2025)’s arrival seems imminent. The report claims that the device will go on sale as early as next week. Here’s a look at the five major changes that are expected to arrive on the iPhone SE 4.

Apple iPhone 14
iPhone 14

1. iPhone 14-like design

The iPhone SE 4 will arrive with the most radical change to the design as compared to previous generations. The report reiterates iPhone SE 4 leaks that have claimed that it will inherit iPhone 14’s design.

This means that the iPhone SE 4 will have a notched display like the iPhone 14, offering a large screen space of around 6.1 inches with the bottom bezel axed. As far as the rear design is concerned, the iPhone SE 4 will continue to sport a single camera with a single LED flash alongside it.

2. Face ID support

The iPhone SE 4 will be the first SE model to come with support for Face ID. This means that the device will not have a Touch ID sensor. The reason is the new design, which adds a notch to house the complex Face ID sensor. The bottom bezel is gone, and so is the Home button which housed the Touch ID sensor on the previous generation.

3. Apple AI

Apple introduced Apple Intelligence with the iPhone 16 series. Running on iOS 18, the iPhone SE 4 will be the most affordable iPhone to offer access to Apple AI. The Apple AI brings features, such as enhanced Siri, AI-powered writing tools, intelligent photo editing, and personalized suggestions on the iPhone 16 series.

4. Apple A18

The inclusion of the Apple A18 chip allows the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus to run on Apple AI. Now that the iPhone SE 4 is expected to bring access to Apple AI, it is tipped to feature the A18 chip, making it as powerful as the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models.

5. USB-C

Another first for an iPhone SE model is the arrival of the USB-C port on the iPhone SE (4th generation). This is due to EU regulations, which require all new smartphones sold in the EU to use USB-C charging. It’s possible that the 4th-generation iPhone’s USB-C port’s data transfer speed could be limited to USB 2.0 speeds, which is the same as the Lightning connector. For context, the USB-C ports on the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 16, and 16 Plus are also limited to USB 2.0 speeds.

Reports have claimed that the iPhone SE 4 will have a new 48-megapixel rear camera, but the Bloomberg report does not mention a camera upgrade. The report also states that the iPhone SE 4 will arrive with a price hike. However, the pricing will remain competitive as compared to entry-level models from Samsung and Google. Apple is expected to achieve major sales from China, India, and emerging markets.

In January, OnePlus unveiled the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in China. These phones arrived with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Elite chipsets, respectively. An enhanced edition of the Ace 5 has also been released in the global market with the OnePlus 13R moniker. The upcoming OnePlus phones, starting with the OnePlus 13T, are expected to sport a renewed design. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released the following Weibo post to leak the launch timeframe of the upcoming OnePlus phones. The leak reiterates that the company is making major design changes this year, including modifications to the iconic three-stage alert slider.

Upcoming OnePlus phones’ launch timeline

1. OnePlus 13T / OnePlus 13 Mini

According to the tipster, the OnePlus 13T, also referred to as the OnePlus 13 Mini, is expected to launch in China in April this year. Reports have revealed that it will be a compact phone with a 6.31-inch flat OLED panel, a Snapdragon 8 Elite, dual 50-megapixel cameras, wireless charging, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a middle frame, and a glass back.

2. OnePlus Ace 5s and Ace 5V

Around May, OnePlus may launch new Ace 5-series models with a flat-screen design. The leak reveals that the Ace 5V’s screen will be larger than the Ace 5s. As per reports, these devices are likely to be powered by the Dimensity 9350 (yet to launch) and Dimensity 9400 chipsets, respectively. Both models may pack a 7,000mAh battery.

3. OnePlus 14

OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 14 in October this year. The device will have a large display with a flat design and the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip, which is expected to debut in the same month.

4. OnePlus Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro

The OnePlus Ace 6 and Ace 6 Pro are expected to go official in November. While there are no leaks surrounding the Ace 6 series yet, it is likely that the Ace 6 may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, whereas the Ace 6 Pro could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.

Readers are advised to take this report with a pinch of salt and remember that the names mentioned above are tentative.

Top 6 fastest-charging phones of 2025: Who wins the race?

A smartphone with fast charging isn’t just a luxury anymore; it’s a necessity. You no longer need to plug in your phone for hours to refill it. Whether you’re constantly on the move, gaming, streaming, or handling business calls, a device that charges in minutes can make all the difference. But which smartphones truly deliver on fast charging in 2025? Let’s take a look at some of the fastest-charging devices available today.

1. OnePlus 13

Oneplus 13

The OnePlus 13 is among the quickest-charging phones you can buy, supporting 100W wired charging globally and 80W in the U.S. OnePlus claims the global version can go from 0 to 100% in just 36 minutes. If you prefer wireless charging, you’re still getting 50W speeds, which is impressive compared to most competitors.

Why does the U.S. version charge slightly slower? It comes down to voltage differences—most U.S. electrical outlets run at 110-120V, while many other regions operate at 220-240V, allowing for more efficient power delivery. Even with this limitation, OnePlus’ SuperVOOC technology ensures a rapid refill, and the 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery keeps you powered for longer.

2. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra

Motorola has stepped up its game in 2025, and the Edge 50 Ultra takes the lead in raw charging speed. Its 125W wired charging can take the phone from 0 to 100% in just 28 minutes—the fastest on this list.

The trade-off? A slightly smaller 4,500mAh battery, compared to the 5,000mAh standard found in most flagship devices. That means you might need to charge it more often, but with these speeds, that should hardly be a problem. It also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

3. Honor 200 Pro

Honor 200 Pro

Honor is another brand that has made it to this list with the Honor 200 Pro. The device supports 100W wired charging which can allegedly fill the battery from 0 to 100% in 45 minutes. While that’s not the absolute fastest, it’s still among the top performers.

What sets the Honor 200 Pro apart is its 66W wireless charging—one of the fastest wireless charging solutions available. However, you’ll need Honor’s proprietary SuperCharging wireless charger to take full advantage of this speed.

4. Realme GT 7 Pro

Realme GT 7 Pro
Realme GT 7 Pro

If you want both fast charging and long battery life, the Realme GT 7 Pro might be the perfect balance. It comes with 120W fast charging, reaching 50% in just 13 minutes and fully charging in 30 minutes.

One of its biggest strengths is its massive 6,500mAh battery (global version). The Indian model gets a slightly smaller 5,800mAh cell, but both versions benefit from Realme’s power-efficient charging technology. If longevity and quick refills matter to you, this is a strong contender.

5. Vivo X Fold 3 Pro

Vivo-X-Fold-3-Pro

Foldable phones have historically lagged behind traditional smartphones when it comes to charging speeds, but the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro changes that. With 100W wired charging, it hits 38% in just 15 minutes and 100% in only 33 minutes—incredible for a device with a 5,700mAh battery.

Wireless charging isn’t an afterthought either. The X Fold 3 Pro supports 50W wireless charging, making it one of the most versatile foldables when it comes to power management.

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

6. iQOO 13

iQOO-13

The iQOO 13 is an underdog in this race but still delivers 120W wired charging, taking it from 0 to 100% in just 22 minutes.

It also boasts a 6,150mAh battery (global) or 6,000mAh (India), which is larger than most flagships, making it a great option for power users. Despite not having the absolute fastest charging speeds, it strikes a great balance between speed and battery endurance.

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

7. Conclusion: Which One Is the Fastest?

All of these smartphones offer incredible charging speeds, but if you’re looking for the absolute fastest, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with 125W charging takes the crown, reaching a full charge in just 28 minutes. However, if you’re after a larger battery with fast charging, the Realme GT 7 Pro’s 120W charging and 6,500mAh battery make it a compelling choice.

For users who want the best wireless charging speeds, the Honor 200 Pro’s 66W wireless charging is unmatched. And if you’re into foldables, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro offers a great balance of speed and innovation.

Ultimately, the best fast-charging phone for you depends on your priorities—whether it’s overall charging speed, battery size, or the convenience of wireless charging. But one thing is clear: in 2025, waiting hours for your phone to charge is a thing of the past.

Snapdragon X chips now power 10% of the high-end Windows PCs in the US: reveals Qualcomm

Qualcomm‘s Snapdragon X series chips now reportedly power 10% of high-end Windows PCs in the US that have a price tag of $800 or above – a jump from the 0.8% market share it had in Q3 last year.

SnapdragonXElite_HeroImage

During the Q1 2025 earnings call, Qualcomm revealed this milestone. While the 10% figure may look impressive, it’s important to note that it applies specifically to high-end Windows PCs. This is a niche segment.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X chips are designed for always-on, always-connected PCs and they have been gaining attention for their combination of raw performance and efficiency.

Qualcomm has also announced an octa-core Snapdragon X chip that will bring the entry price for these devices down to around $600. Not to mention, it will make a broader audience consider the new platform as an appealing option, and will potentially increase the market share even more. It’s also important to note that more and more apps are getting native support for the platform, which increases the appeal.

We will likely see even faster growth going forward

Qualcomm has some big plans for the near future as well. The company aims to capture more than 50% of the Windows PC market within the next five years. For that, the giant is rolling out a wide range of mini PCs and laptops powered by Snapdragon X chips.

According to ITHome, more than 80 different PC models will launch with Snapdragon X chips this year, which will be followed by more than 100 models next year. So anyone looking for a PC in the price range will have significant number of options to chose from, that are lightweight, has impressive battery life, and possibly, supports several on-device AI features. Here are the new Snapdragon X-powered laptops launching in India this month.

Significant in context, Microsoft is working on bringing more on-device AI features to its AI PCs, and the rollout will start with the Snapdragon X-powered devices.

Although, consumer recognition of ARM-based Windows PCs is still limited, and the company must convince users of the benefits of its chips, such as longer battery life and native support for apps they use.

Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra: 4 Things You Need To Know

Asus recently took wraps off the Zenfone 12 Ultra. The device succeeds the Zenfone 11 Ultra.

Though the product is called ‘Ultra,’ it is not accompanied by ‘standard’ and ‘pro’ models. It is a loner handset like its predecessor.

Again, like its forerunner, the Zenfone 12 Ultra is a non-gaming version of the current-gen ROG Phone. This means it is more or less the same as the ROG Phone 9 Pro.

The core specs are identical on the two. The two only differ in terms of look and feel.

Either way, let’s take a look at the key features of the Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra in this article.

Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra

1. Resembles Candies

The Zenfone 12 Ultra has almost the same dimensions as the ROG Phone 9 Pro. The overall design is also nearly identical. But certain things set them apart.

The camera islands on the two devices are slightly different from one another. The LED flash module sits to the right of the secondary sensors on Zenfone 12 Ultra. While on the ROG Phone 9 Pro, it is located below the primary sensor.

Most importantly, the Zenfone 12 Ultra lacks the mini LED display on the back and comes in eye-catching colors. These hues, namely Sage Green, Sakura White, and Ebony Black, make the device look like candies. It matches the aesthetics of the Nubia Candy Charger from 2020.

2. Powerful Hardware

Asus has equipped the Zenfone 12 Ultra with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It is currently the most powerful chip on Android phones. This silicon even goes head-to-head with the Apple A18 Pro chip inside the iPhone 16 Pro.

The latest Snapdragon chipset is further paired with fast LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The handset offers up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Lastly, the device draws energy from a 5,500mAh battery. It supports 65W wired and 15W wireless charging standards.

3. Versatile Cameras

The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra has a versatile triple camera system on the rear. All three modules offer different focal lengths (wide, ultrawide, and telephoto).

The primary camera is a 50MP Sony Lytia 700 sensor. It is paired with a 13MP 120° FOV ultrawide unit and a 3x 32MP telephoto shooter.

On the front, the handset sports a 32MP RGBW sensor for selfies and video calls.

4. Poor Software Support

The Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra ships with Android 15. It also comes with several AI features for productivity, communication, and camera.

However, unlike the competition, Asus guarantees only 2 major Android updates. This is unacceptable for a smartphone that starts at €1,100.

For comparison, similarly priced Samsung Galaxy S series phones offer 7 years of Android updates.

Oppo Find N5’s crease is barely visible

Oppo has been teasing its upcoming foldable for quite a while and has revealed many aspects of the device ahead of the launch event. The latest one is about the crease on the inner display.

Pete Lau, the chief product officer (CPO) at Oppo, has shared two images on his official X account, comparing the crease of the Oppo Find N5 with one of its competitors. The difference in the crease, well, you can see for yourself.

Oppo-Find-N5s-crease-is-barely-visible-compared-to-the-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1

The crease is almost nonexistent

Thanks to Samsung for changing the corner radius last year, we can confirm it’s the brand’s latest foldable – the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Of course, Oppo hasn’t been able to completely get rid of the crease yet – upon closer inspection, you can still see it. But here, the Oppo exec had a point: it’s almost nonexistent in comparison. Other than that, the aspect ratio and the front camera placement look very similar to the Oppo Find N3.

The company previously revealed the side profile emphasizing its slick form factor. According to a previous report, the phone is only 4.8mm thick. It is impressive to see Oppo having figured out how to fold the display within such a small area without leaving a crease. This achievement is likely due to a redesigned hinge mechanism.

Matter of fact, a recent rumor claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s crease is “almost gone“. Considering the fact that we have only seen minimal improvements in this aspect from the Z Fold models so far, and the Fold 7 is expected to be based on the hinge mechanism of the already released Z Fold SE, we cannot expect too much yet. That said, the crease could be one of the advantages the Find N5 will have over its biggest competitor.

Galaxy Watch Ultra gets a $120 discount

Here’s a good news for those eying the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Whether you’re looking to buy outright or trade in an older device, this seems to be the perfect time to upgrade.

Last week, Samsung offered a $100 discount on the Galaxy Watch Ultra which didn’t even require you to trade in your existing watch. This week, that discount has been bumped up to $120, bringing the price down to $529 (from $649). If you’re not willing to trade in, this is a solid deal.

For those willing to part with an old smartwatch though, the trade-in values have also increased. Instead of capping at $350, you can now get up to $400 for select models. High-value trade-ins include the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Apple Watch Ultra, and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Even older Apple Watches like the Series 8 and Series 9 are eligible for $375.

Samsung is also offering a $150 discount if you trade-in “any smartwatch, in any condition.” However, since the no−trade−in discount is now $120, you’re only saving an extra $30 by trading in a device worth less than $150. So, you will have to choose wisely.

Please Note: When you buy something using the links in our articles, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you.

Why the Galaxy Watch Ultra?

With a titanium body (Titanium Grade 4) and MIL-STD 810H certification, it’s built to withstand tough conditions. It also comes with an optional water sports strap, making it perfect for swimmers and adventurers alike. The watch has a 47mm dial with a 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. It is available in three stylish colors: titanium rock gray, titanium platinum silver, and titanium porcelain white.

Under the hood, it’s powered by the 3nm Exynos W1000 chipset, which, according to Samsung, is significantly more capable and more efficient than its predecessor. This is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

With a 590mAh battery, the Galaxy Watch Ultra offers up to 80 hours of battery life (with power-saving mode disabled).

If you’ve been eyeing the Galaxy Watch Ultra, now’s the time to grab it. With improved discounts and trade-in values, Samsung is making it easier than ever to upgrade to its latest and greatest smartwatch.

Realme P3 Pro spotted on Geekbench with early performance results

Realme P3 Pro is confirmed to launch in India on February 18th. After the Realme P3, the Pro model has also made its appearance on Geekbench. Both phones run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip and also appear to be tuned similarly.

Realme P3 Pro Geekbench

The base model appeared in the platform with a single and multi-core score of 1110 and 3136 respectively. Now the Pro model has surfaced with only slightly higher scores: 1196 and 3309 in the single and multi-core tests.

Although the performance numbers here are the same, as previously reported, the base model uses an underclocked chip. All the mid cores and the prime core have slightly lower clock speeds on the base model. So, technically, the Pro model could outperform the standard one in raw performance in certain use cases like gaming.

P3 Pro vs P3 CPU clock speeds

The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip is built on TSMC’s 4nm process, and it also powers the Realme 14 Pro+ launched a few days ago and will power the upcoming Nothing Phone 3a. So you can expect similar raw performance to those devices if you are comparing.

As revealed by the listing, the Pro model also comes with 12GB RAM, and Android 15 out-of-the-box similar to the base model.

According to previous reports, the P3 Pro will come with something branded as the “GT Boots technology” co-developed with KRAFTON, which likely improves the BGMI gameplay experience. It may include features such as AI Ultra-Steady Frames, Hyper Response Engine, AI Ultra Touch Control, and AI Motion Control.

Realme-P3-Pro-design-2

To run on these features for longer, the phone packs a large 6000mAh battery. It also supports 80W wired fast charging for a quick refill.

As per the design, the phone packs three cameras with a centered circular island on the back and has flat sides.

Like many other mainstream smartphone brands, Samsung is also emphasizing the performance capability of their latest flagships this year. So, games and the gaming experience had to enter the official conversation. And here we are: Samsung hosted the third #PlayGalaxy Cup in San Francisco. Pro gamers put the Galaxy S25 Ultra to the test with Call of Duty: Mobile.

The #PlayGalaxy Cup

On January 25, Samsung took to YouTube and Twitch to stream the #PlayGalaxy Cup live. The event included two of North America’s top eSports teams, Tribe Gaming and Luminosity Gaming, who were battling it out in Call of Duty: Mobile. The pros played on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, paired with Galaxy Buds 3 earbuds and JBL Quantum ONE headphones.

The venue was packed with over 250 fans, who watched the intense matches on a massive screen at the center of the arena. For those tuning in online, the live stream offered a front-row seat to the action.

Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the most graphically demanding mobile games, which the Galaxy S25 Ultra handled with ease. The phone delivered seamless gameplay and what Samsung describes as a “true-to-life graphic experience.” The Vulkan optimization and the larger vapor chamber are expected to have contributed to this gameplay experience.

Between matches, fans got to try out the Galaxy S25 Ultra in a hands-on zone set up by Samsung. This gave attendees a chance to experience the phone’s power and features firsthand. If you missed the event, don’t worry—Samsung also showcased the device at Galaxy Unpacked last month, and you can check out hands-on videos online.

Galaxy S25 Ultra Gemini

The #PlayGalaxy Cup was more than just a gaming tournament; it was a showcase that gamers can finally choose a Galaxy without hesitation. And of course, this performance is paired with some of the best AI features on the market, at least until the end of 2025. The company may charge afterward for Galaxy AI, although there’s no clear word from the company about when and how much. Nonetheless, the raw performance capability has proven to be unquestionable.

Nothing Wireless Headphones visit SGS Fimko certification: New transparent headphones in the works?

Nothing might be working on a new hearables product that could currently be in development. The brand’s next audio product could be a wireless headphones, as the upcoming model was recently spotted in the SGS Fimko certification. So here’s everything we know so far.

Nothing Head (1) a reality soon?

Back in 2022, Nothing had just introduced the Phone (1) as its first ever smartphone model, which packed a unique transparent design just like the Ear (1). To recall, the Nothing Ear (1) was the brand’s first product to hit the commercial market. This caused a rush of concept renders to soon emerge talking about various gadgets that the company could potentially be working on. One of these included the Nothing Head (1), which offered a futuristic design.

While it was just a concept render back then, a fresh certification hints that the Nothing Head (1) might be a reality. A “Wireless Headphone” from Nothing was spotted on the SGS Fimko database carrying the B170 model number. Unfortunately, this listing barely revealed any finer details regarding these new headphones like its specs or design, but it does confirm 5W charging support.

However, going by the brand’s iconic use of transparency in its product design, the Nothing wireless headphones may also feature a similar design, which was first hinted in the Head (1) renders. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation at this point. In other words, take this news with a pinch of salt. A Nothing branded headphones might still be a while away, so stay tuned for more.
