Honor Magic 7 series design revealed in Shadow Gray color variant

Honor is all set to launch the Magic 7 series of smartphones on Oct. 30 in China. While the launch date was confirmed last week, the company hadn’t revealed the appearance of the Magic 7 lineup. Today, the brand released the following teasers to showcase the first color of the series—Moon Shadow Gray. This color is inspired by the world’s first science fiction blockbuster, “A Trip to the Moon,” evoking the moment when the spacecraft travels through the night sky and lands on the moon.

Honor Magic 7 series’ Shadow Gray variant revealed

The Honor Magic 7’s back panel features a flowing texture design. A thin red line embellishes the power button, adding a striking detail. The Magic 7’s camera module reveals a blade structure, indicating a physical variable aperture lens. The camera island is symmetrical and cantered on the back, expected to house a 4-camera combination. The new design marks a departure from the previous “100X” logo seen on earlier models.

Honor CEO Zhao Ming emphasized that the design of the Honor Magic 7 series aims to leave a lasting impression at first sight. The series will also be available in Morning Glow Gold, inspired by the first ray of morning light, which is designed to bring joy to users. Additionally, the standard version of the Honor Magic 7 series will support ultrasonic screen fingerprint technology.

The Honor Magic 7 series will be the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and launch with MagicOS 9.0, promising major advancements in human-computer interaction and intelligent services. The new operating system aims to enhance overall efficiency and introduce convenient features like one-sentence command transmission.

Pre-orders for the Honor Magic 7 series have begun on the Honor official website. Customers can place an intention deposit of 100 yuan to receive free Bluetooth headphones, a 1,200 Yuan subsidy for old-for-new exchanges, and other benefits. The series includes standard and Pro models, both expected to push the boundaries of smartphone design and functionality.

Oppo’s 120W adapter charges two devices at once

We are just hours away from the launch of Oppo‘s 2024 flagship lineup, the Find X8 series. The company has already teased several new features, and today, it revealed exciting details about the devices’ charging capabilities. The Find X8 series will come with a 120W charger in the box, capable of charging two devices simultaneously—ideal for office environments. Additionally, the charger can also be used to power laptops.

No need to buy another adapter for accessories

The power adapter is based on Oppo’s latest gallium nitride technology, which makes it incredibly power efficient. As a result, it can offer high current low voltage power output.

As for the output configuration, the adapter comes with a Type-C, and a Type-A port and offers a 80W + 45W output for charging two devices simultaneously. Notably, the Type-C port is likely to offer an 80W charging speed.

The company will also launch an 80W fast charging power bank and a magnetic power bank on October 24 alongside the Find X8 series. According to previous reports, the company has plans to create an ecosystem of magnetic accessories.

Speaking of the phones, the series includes a total of three devices: Oppo Find X8, Find X8 Pro, and Find X8 Ultra (expected to launch early next year).

Find X8 / Pro supports 80W fast charging

According to a previous rumor, the standard and Pro models will pack 5700mAh and 5800mAh batteries respectively, and support 80W fast charging. So the company has designed the charger keeping two high-performance devices in mind.

The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will power the Dimensity 9400 chip, while the Ultra model will boast the Snapdragon 8 Elite ( or 87 Gen 4) chip, similar to iQOO 13 and OnePlus 13, which are also expected to
launch at the end of October. Both phones come with a completely flat design, which is a major shift from the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra. Other than that, Oppo has also taken several measures to make the display more eye-friendly.

OnePlus 13 launch date, design, color variants officially confirmed

OnePlus has finally confirmed the OnePlus 13’s launch date. The brand will hold a launch event at 4pm (local time) on Oct. 31 in China to unveil the OnePlus 12’s successor. It will debut as one of the first phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

OnePlus 13 design revealed

OnePlus 13 design
OnePlus 13 design

The OnePlus 13 will be available in three colors. The “White Dawn” variant features the latest Silk Glass technology, providing a sleek and elegant appearance. The “Blue Moment” stands out as the industry’s first to introduce BabySkin texture, offering a soft, skin-like feel. Lastly, the “Obsidian Secret” debuts with an Ebony Wood Grain Glass finish, presenting a unique and refined look reminiscent of natural wood.

In terms of design, the OnePlus 13 features a micro-quad-curved display on the front and a prominent circular camera module on the back panel. Unlike predecessor models, the camera module does not fuse with the frame of the device. The camera island houses three lenses, and an LED flash unit arranged symmetrically in a square formation. A metallic ring surrounds the circular module, adding a touch of elegance and distinguishing the camera area from the rest of the back panel.

There is a horizontal line that extends from the camera module to the edge and has the “H” (Hasselblad) logo on it. Subtly embedded beneath the camera module, the OnePlus logo upholds the clean design language. The sides of the phones are metallic, contributing to the premium feel.

At present, OnePlus has only released a couple of teasers to reveal its design and has yet to confirm the technical specifications of the device. Leaks have revealed that it will have a 6.82-inch 2K 120Hz BOE X2 screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 6,000mAh battery with 100W charging and 50W wireless charging, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (LYT-808) triple camera unit on the back. It is also expected to come with other features, such as ColorOS 15-based Android 15, an 0916T vibration motor, and an IP69-rated chassis.

Xiaomi successfully “tapes out” China’s first 3nm smartphone chip

Xiaomi has been rumored to be working on its very own smartphone chip for a while now. Looks like the company has now reached an important milestone.

A report by Chinese media MyDrivers suggests that Xiami has successfully “taped out” the country’s first 3nm smartphone SoC.

The announcement came from the Chief Economist of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology on BRTV, a government-owned television network in China. Below is the announcement video of the same, in Chinese of course, posted by an X user.

Xiaomi’s own smartphone SoC?

The report doesn’t provide details about the CPU or GPU and only mentions that it is a 3nm chip. It also doesn’t specify whether Xiaomi is using TSMC, Samsung, or another node for production.

However, the “tape-out” process in silicon design means the chip has reached the final stage before it’s sent to the manufacturing facility for production. In other words, Xiaomi has successfully completed the design phase and the chip is now ready for fabrication.

That said, this doesn’t mean the SoC is ready for mass production or smartphone use yet. Xiaomi will still need to test the chip once it’s fabricated by a manufacturer like TSMC or Samsung. Also, if the initial yield (the percentage of working chips) is low, they may need to tweak the manufacturing process or the chip design to improve it.

In case you didn’t know, Xiaomi has already released a smartphone with its own SoC. The Mi 5C, launched in 2017, featured Xiaomi’s Pengpai (or Pinecone) S1 chip, a 28nm, 8-core processor with a big-little architecture and a maximum clock speed of 2.2GHz.

While Xiaomi hasn’t launched another smartphone SoC since then, it has been developing chips for charging, battery management, and image signal processing in its Surge G, P, and C series. For instance, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra uses the Surge P2 and G1 chips to improve charging efficiency and extend battery life.

So, chip production certianly isn’t an unfamiliar territory for Xiaomi. It remains to be seen if the company can successfully develop and launch its own smartphone SoC (again), and how it will stack up in terms of performance.

Here’s your first look at the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in live images

Samsung has a launch event set for tomorrow, October 21st. Although the company hasn’t officially confirmed what it’s unveiling, it’s expected to be a new foldable, likely the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition.

We’ve only seen the phone once, in a leaked render from a month ago. However, a new leak has now given us the first live image of the Special Edition Fold.

Galaxy Fold Special Edition real-life images

The leak comes from X (formerly Twitter) user @Jukanlosreve, who shared somewhat blurry images of the upcoming foldable. This particular model is for the Chinese market, where it’s rumored to be called the “Samsung Galaxy W25.”

It’s recognizable because of the distinct logo at the bottom, used for Samsung’s Chinese foldable. In Korea, however, it’s expected to be named the Galaxy Fold Special Edition, its only other market after China.

Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t reveal any specific details about the phone. It’s expected to be thinner than the standard Fold, and the image of the phone folded does make it look slimmer. Still, we can’t confirm its exact thickness.

The unfolded inner display is rumored to be 8 inches, up from the standard Z Fold 6’s 7.6 inches. The outer display is also expected to grow from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches.

A previous report also suggests that the display crease on the new fold will be less noticeable than in the standard Z Fold 6. If true, that will be a welcome improvement since previous models have made little progress in this area.

Aside from being slim, the new foldable is also rumored to feature a 200MP camera. According to reliable leaker Ice Universe, the camera quality will even surpass that of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. We’ll find out if these rumors hold true in just one day.

Samsung is readying Galaxy S25 Ultra in four colors

Samsung typically launches its flagship Galaxy S series in January, and although we’re still a few months away, leaks and rumors have already begun revealing details.

The design renders have shown a subtle tweak to the phone’s look. Now, a new leak reveals the color options for the upcoming phone.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra CAD render by OnLeaks / AndroidHeadlines
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra CAD render by OnLeaks / AndroidHeadlines

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra color options

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be available in four color options — black, green, blue, and “titanium.”

The black and titanium could simply be a continuation of the existing Titanium Black or Titanium Gray finishes from the S24 Ultra, or perhaps a new shade closer to the natural titanium look recently seen on iPhones. The blue and green, however, are likely new additions to the palette.

Of course, Samsung usually reserves a few more daring colors for its online store in select markets. Details on these exclusive options are still under wraps, but it’s a safe bet some bolder options will be available beyond the standard four.

Under the hood, the S25 Ultra is expected to pack a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Rumors also hint at a hefty 16GB of RAM, which should keep things smooth even for the most demanding users. The camera system could see a bump too, with a possible upgrade to a 50MP ultrawide sensor.

However, there’s one area where the S25 Ultra might disappoint is its battery life and charging. Leaks suggest Samsung is sticking with the same 5,000mAh battery and 45W wired fast charging from the S24 Ultra.

While this isn’t necessarily bad, an upgrade in battery capacity or faster charging would have been a welcome improvement, especially as many 2025 flagships from Chinese brands are rumored to feature batteries around or even above 6,000mAh. We will keep you updated as more details about the phone surface.

Battery life is a strong suit, thanks to the 5,000mAh battery. While PCMark benchmark scores are slightly behind peers, real-world usage suggests a screen-on time of 5-6 hours with moderate use. The included 45W fast charger replenishes the battery from scratch to full in around 75 minutes.

Running on Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G offers a lag-free experience. However, the phone is preloaded with plenty of apps, including Hot Apps folders. Thankfully, many of them can be uninstalled, but it would require you to spend some time doing the cleanup. The device is promised to receive two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates.

4. Camera and Other Features

Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G
  • Front: 16MP
  • Rear: 50MP Sony camera+ 2MP depth + flicker sensor

The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo features a user-friendly camera app with multiple modes, including Photo, Night, Portrait, and Professional. The camera setup of this phone is decent for its price point, but it’s not the phone’s main focus. One drawback of in the camera department is that it lacks support for optical image stabilization.

It features a 50-megapixel AI main camera and a 2-megapixel depth lens. The main camera captures satisfactory daylight shots with good detail, sharpness, and dynamic range, though colors are slightly boosted. In low light, images are softer and lack the same level of detail. Portrait shots exhibit good edge detection and preserve skin texture, but color balance can be slightly off and there’s no support for 2x zoom.

The 16-megapixel front camera produces decent selfies with accurate skin tones, though skin texture appears smoothed out at times. Nighttime selfies are acceptable only when there is sufficient light. Video recording is adequate, with support for up to 4K at 30fps. However, the lack of OIS means video stability is not ideal.

The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G includes several notable features. It has an in-screen fingerprint sensor, although its placement is a bit low; it shouldn’t be a major concern for most users. In the software department, there are some nice additions like Flash Capsule for notifications around the front camera area, Air Gestures for touch-free control, and Riding Mode for easier navigation while riding a bike. Additionally, the phone offers Free Calls, allowing users to make calls over Bluetooth when there is no network coverage. The rainwater touch feature works flawlessly, making it a very usable feature during the rainy season.

5. Verdict and Competitors

The Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G is a compelling option for users seeking a performance-driven smartphone with a focus on gaming. Its strengths lie in affordable pricing, powerful processor, vibrant display, long battery life, and fast charging capabilities. While the camera system and software experience could be improved, the phone offers good value for its price. OnePlus 13 leaks in real-life image in multiple colors

OnePlus has officially started teasing the OnePlus 13 smartphone in China. Although the launch date remains unconfirmed, it’s expected to debut later this month.

Earlier this week, leaked design renders gave us a glimpse of the phone, and now real-life images have also surfaced on Weibo.

OnePlus 13 real-life image

The renders reveal that the OnePlus 13 features a familiar camera module on the left but with some noticeable changes. Most notably, the border extending from the camera module to the left has been removed.

The smartphone also appears in several color options, including black, white, and an interesting dark blue variant with a white camera module.

These images align with the company’s teaser, giving us a good idea of what the upcoming phone will look like. The teaser also includes the phrase “see you next week,” suggesting the launch could happen soon, possibly next week.

Expected Specifications

The OnePlus 13 is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch BOE X2 LTPO AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits and 1,600 nits in high brightness mode (HBM). It’s also expected to come with a large 6,000mAh battery, an IP68/69 water resistance rating, 100W fast charging, and 50W magnetic wireless charging.

Moreover, the smartphone is also expected to be among the first to feature a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4/ 8 Elite processor. The SoC may even outperform iPhone 16 Pro’s A18 Pro in some benchmarks.

A significant upgrade is the switch to an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is generally faster and more secure than the optical sensor found on its predecessor. Unlike optical sensors, ultrasonic ones can work with wet or dirty fingers, a feature seen on top-tier phones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro.

Is Oppo’s ColorOS 15 just a clone of iOS 18, or does it bring something new?

Oppo’s ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, has sparked discussions for its striking similarities to Apple’s iOS 18. From interface design to animations and AI-powered assistants, many of the new features in ColorOS 15 appear to draw significant inspiration from Apple’s latest operating system. Here’s a detailed look at some of the most evident iOS 18-inspired elements that have made their way into ColorOS 15.

Oppo ColorOS 15

1. Dynamic Island-Like Feature

The most noticeable feature in ColorOS 15 is the “Direct Fluid Cloud” bar, which expands from the punch-hole camera cutout to display notifications like timers, recordings, and other updates, essentially Oppo’s take on Apple’s Dynamic Island. This addition brings an interactive hub around the camera cutout, closely mimicking the way iOS 18 uses Dynamic Island to show relevant information in a seamless, fluid manner. This resemblance has led to mixed reactions, with some appreciating the convenience and others noting the similarities.

2. Redesigned Lock Screen and Personalization

ColorOS 15 introduces a customizable lock screen with 3D effects and dynamic wallpapers, closely resembling the one seen in iOS 18. Users can configure multiple lock screen setups, choose between different styles, and even overlay elements like images over the clock. These personalization options mirror iOS 18’s approach, allowing users to switch between different themes and wallpapers based on preferences or time of day.

3. Siri-Like “Super Xiaobu Assistant”

Another major element borrowed from iOS 18 is Oppo’s “Super Xiaobu Assistant,” which features a glowing border reminiscent of Apple’s updated Siri interface. The AI-powered assistant offers system-level interactions, handling commands, queries, and contextual information analysis in ways similar to Siri’s capabilities in iOS 18. While the integration of AI assistants in Android skins is not new, the resemblance to Apple’s assistant is noticeable.

4. AirDrop-Inspired File Sharing

ColorOS 15 brings an “AirDrop-like” feature that facilitates rapid sharing of files, photos, and videos with other devices, including iPhones. This addition makes it easy for Oppo users to share data with iOS devices using a single tap, similar to Apple’s proprietary AirDrop feature.

5. Split Notification Shade and Quick Settings

ColorOS 15 adopts a split layout for notifications and Quick Settings, a design that has been present in both iOS and Samsung’s One UI for some time. Oppo’s decision to separate these elements follows iOS’s pattern of decluttering the notification center and streamlining quick access to settings. The new layout in ColorOS 15 makes it easier to manage notifications and control settings.

6. Privacy Features

ColorOS 15 introduces enhanced privacy controls like Smart Clipboard Protection and Calendar Permission Control, which limit access to sensitive data. These measures echo iOS 18’s emphasis on privacy, with features like restricted clipboard access and event creation without full calendar visibility. Oppo’s privacy enhancements bring additional security to users’ data handling.

7. Inspiration or Imitation?

While Oppo’s ColorOS 15 brings genuine performance improvements, many of its new features clearly mirror iOS 18. Whether this represents a natural evolution of UI design or a deliberate effort to offer familiar features to users, the similarities are evident. As ColorOS 15 rolls out in November, users will get to experience whether Oppo’s design strategy enhances their experience or simply mimics iOS 18.

iQOO 13’s new image compares size with Vivo X200 Pro Mini

Vivo unveiled the Vivo X200 series of smartphones earlier this month in China. Its sub-brand iQOO is expected to announce the iQOO 13 later this month in the home market. While iQOO is yet to announce the iQOO 13, it has been releasing new teasers to showcase some of its front design. A recent report gave the first look at the actual device along with its display specifications. Now, a couple of new images of the iQOO 13 have emerged on Weibo, one of them showcases its front design alongside the Vivo X200 Pro Mini.

As it is known, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini is a compact flagship phone equipped with a 6.31-inch flat OLED panel. In comparison, the iQOO 13 also boasts a flat screen, albeit with a larger size of 6.82 inches. The iQOO 13’s BOE Q10 screen offers a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 1800 nits of peak brightness, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The iQOO 13’s display is surrounded by ultra-thin bezels and promises an impressive screen-to-body ratio. Its bottom edge is equipped with a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The device is equipped with flat edges like the X200 Pro Mini.

The left edge of the phone appears barren, whereas previously seen images have revealed its right side has a volume rocker and a power key. Similar to the X200 Pro Mini, we expect the iQOO 13 to ship preloaded with OriginOS 5-based Android 15. The rear design of the phone has only been teased but not revealed entirely. Since the smartphone is expected to launch by the end of this month, the brand is expected to confirm its rear design and key specifications later this week.

2. Design & Build Quality

Baseus-Bowie-30-Max-review

The Baseus Bowie 30 Max has an elegant and minimalist design that immediately stands out. The build quality feels premium despite its budget-friendly price, thanks to a brushed aluminum headband that provides both durability and a sleek appearance. The headband is sturdy, featuring a single adjustable metal piece that ensures a flexible fit while maintaining robustness. The overall construction is lightweight, making the headphones comfortable to wear for long periods without any strain on the head.

The ear cups are large, oval-shaped, and padded with soft memory foam cushions, providing a snug and comfortable fit. This design ensures the cups completely cover the ears, offering passive noise isolation even before the active noise cancellation (ANC) is engaged. The ear cups also swivel inward and fold flat, making the headphones portable and easy to store. Although the foldability adds convenience for travel, the lack of a carrying pouch or case is a downside, as it would have been a thoughtful addition for users who frequently travel with their headphones.

The button layout on the Baseus Bowie 30 Max is thoughtfully designed for easy access and control. On the right ear cup, there is a power button located toward the bottom edge, which doubles as the Bluetooth pairing button. The button has a tactile feel, making it easy to turn on or off and pair the headphones with your device.

Baseus Bowie 30 Max Full Review

Below the power button, you’ll find the volume control buttons, which allow you to adjust the volume with a simple press. These buttons are also multi-functional, as a long press on the volume up button skips to the next track, while a long press on the volume down button rewinds to the previous one.

In the middle of the volume buttons is a multifunction button that lets you control playback (play/pause), answer or reject calls, and activate voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant. The buttons provide a satisfying click, so you know when you’ve activated a function without having to look at the headphones.

The right ear cup also houses a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired playback, providing users with the option to enjoy high-res audio in wired mode, which is perfect for audiophiles who prefer lossless sound. Just below the headphone jack, you’ll find the USB-C charging port, which supports fast charging. This port is sturdy and easy to access, ensuring that charging the headphones is quick and hassle-free.

Baseus Bowie 30 Max Full Review

On the left ear cup, there is a dedicated button for adjusting the active noise cancellation modes. This button allows you to cycle through different ANC settings, giving you flexibility based on your environment. The ANC button is conveniently located for easy access, making it simple to adjust noise cancellation on the go.

Baseus Bowie 30 Max Full Review

The buttons on both ear cups are highly responsive, offering a crisp, tactile feel when pressed. This ensures that you can control the headphones intuitively, even without looking at them. Additionally, there is a small LED indicator on the right ear cup that provides visual cues for the power status, Bluetooth pairing, and charging. The LED is subtle and unobtrusive, blending seamlessly with the design.

The headphones feature a matte finish, which not only looks sleek but also prevents fingerprints from marring the surface. The headband padding is comfortable, ensuring that even after extended use, there’s no discomfort at the top of the head. The overall minimalist design, combined with practical features like foldable ear cups, makes the Baseus Bowie 30 Max a well-rounded option for users seeking a blend of style, comfort, and portability.

3. Features

The Baseus Bowie 30 Max is packed with features that elevate it beyond its budget-friendly price tag, making it competitive with more expensive models. These features cater to users looking for quality audio, comfort, and versatility, with both every day and more advanced options.

These headphones come equipped with 50mm titanium-plated super bass drivers, a significant upgrade over the 40mm drivers typically found in other budget noise-cancelling headphones. The larger drivers contribute to a more robust sound experience, especially in terms of bass response.

The headphones also offer impressive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) with dual-microphone technology, effectively blocking out low-frequency noises like traffic or airplane engines, making it ideal for commuting and travel. While it struggles slightly with higher-pitched sounds, its ANC performance is competitive with higher-priced models.

It comes with three preset ANC modes – Commute, Indoor, and Outdoor, or fine-tune the noise cancellation level via the app’s custom slider. Additionally, the headphones feature a transparency mode, allowing external sounds to filter through for conversations or awareness of surroundings.

Another impressive feature is the head-tracking spatial audio technology. This feature enhances the listening experience by locking sound in a fixed direction, so when you move your head, the audio appears to come from the original source. This creates a more immersive experience, particularly when watching movies or playing games.

While it’s a cool feature for cinematic or gaming purposes, it might not be as appealing for regular music listeners, as it can alter the audio experience in a way that may feel unnatural.

4. Connectivity

The Baseus Bowie 30 Max supports Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring a stable connection with minimal latency. It also supports the LDAC codec, which provides a much higher bit rate (up to 990 kbps) than standard Bluetooth codecs, resulting in richer sound quality. This feature is particularly attractive for audiophiles who prefer lossless sound. Additionally, the headphones offer high-res wired playback, giving users flexibility in choosing between wired and wireless modes for better audio quality.

While the Bluetooth connection is solid, one of the drawbacks is the lack of multi-device connectivity. This means you can’t easily switch between, for example, your phone and laptop without manually disconnecting and reconnecting the headphones. For users who frequently use multiple devices, this limitation could be frustrating.

5. App and Customization

Baseus-Bowie-30-Max-review

While you can control most of its features using the buttons the company also provides an app that adds a layer of functionality to these headphones, allowing users to customize the EQ settings.

The app includes several preset EQ modes such as Clear, Hi-Fi, Rock, and Custom, giving users the ability to fine-tune their audio experience. Additionally, the app features a low-latency mode, which is perfect for watching videos or gaming, as it minimizes the lag between the audio and video for a more synchronized experience.

6. Sound Quality

The sound performance of the Baseus Bowie 30 Max is impressive, especially considering its price range. It delivers punchy, deep bass without overpowering the mids and treble. The sound profile is slightly V-shaped, meaning the bass and treble are emphasized, making these headphones a great choice for listeners who enjoy bass-heavy music or dynamic sound.

Out of the box, the sound is relatively flat, but with the Bass Boost feature activated via the app, the low-end frequencies get a noticeable lift. Despite the boost, the bass remains balanced, and the mids and highs retain their clarity, making the headphones suitable for a wide range of music genres.

In ANC, I’d say it manages to cut out most noises; however, don’t expect it to match absolute flagship levels. For its price, it’s more than sufficient and works really well. The head tracking also works perfectly fine, and the low-latency mode effectively reduces latency when gaming or watching movies. While there will always be a slight millisecond delay with wireless headphones, it’s minimal.

If you’re an audiophile looking for highly detailed sound, these headphones might fall short. However, for casual listeners and bass lovers, the sound performance is excellent, especially at this price point.

7. Battery Life

Battery life is another area where the headphones excel. These headphones offer up to 65 hours of playtime with ANC and LDAC turned off, which is remarkable. Even with noise cancellation and LDAC activated, the battery life remains decent, providing ample listening time for most users.

The headphones also offer a fast charging feature, providing up to 14 hours of playback from just a 10-minute charge. This makes it ideal for users who are often on the go, ensuring they can quickly recharge and enjoy extended listening time without waiting for a full charge.

8. Final Thoughts

The Bowie 30 Max offers exceptional value for money, combining premium features like head-tracking spatial audio, LDAC support, and effective noise cancellation at an affordable price. The build quality is solid, the sound performance is impressive, and the battery life is outstanding. While there are some minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a carrying case and multi-device connectivity, the overall package is highly competitive, especially for budget-conscious consumers.

If you’re looking for a versatile pair of headphones that offer great sound quality, comfort, and advanced features without the premium price tag, the Bowie 30 Max is an easy recommendation.

9. Pricing and Availability

Baseus Bowie 30 Max Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, originally priced at $79.99, are available on Baseus’ official website. There’s an additional $10 discount, reducing the price to $69. This deal is valid from October 14 to November 3.
