Mini PC manufacturer Simply NUC is preparing to launch a new series of its fanless mini PCs. The extremeEDGE mini PC servers are powered by the 2000- and 3000-series AMD Phoenix-U and Hawk Point-U processors. The new models will get the complement of the AMD Ryzen Pro 8840 processor. The AMD Ryzen embedded V3C18l and Ryzen 7 7840U are also among the options available for the new model. The models also have variants powered by the Intel N5015 and N100 APUS. The models come with a fanless aluminum chassis that can withstand environmental temperatures between -40ºC and 85ºC.
The extremeEDGE fanless mini PC servers utilize the Nano-BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) technology which integrates remote monitoring and systems management of powerful fanless servers. CoSAI is an open-source community led by a Project Council (which is responsible for advancing and managing its overall agenda), and a Technical Steering Committee (composed of AI experts from academia and industry, which oversees its workstreams).

Segway has unveiled two new electric two-wheelers during its July 18 launch event. They are the Segway ZT3 Pro electric scooter and the Xyber electric bike. The ZT3 Pro is designed for urban use while the Xyber is well-suited for off-road movement. The models come with an affordable price tag that is bound to stimulate demand for the products.
The Segway ZT3 Pro has a range of 40km while the Xyber has an extended range of 105km for off-road navigation. Both new two-wheelers come with adjustable suspension and several smart features. Both models feature keyless unlocking and are compatible with OTA upgrades. The ZT3 Pro is equipped with a 650W motor with three speed modes and it has a top speed of 32km/h.
The model is equipped with a front disc brake, rear disc brake, and electronic braking assistance. The ZT3 Pro uses 11-inch vacuum tires and it weighs 29kg. The e-scooter can support loads of up to 120kg. It has a 3-inch instrument panel for viewing ride information on the go.

TCL has unveiled a new lineup of TVs during its product launch event on July 17. The company officially launched the third-generation art TV A300 series signposted by the A300 Pro and A300W models. The AMD Radeon 890M flagship iGPU has been put through the paces on Geekbench. The Geekbench stats indicate that the Radeon 890M is at par, performance-wise with the entry-level Ampere dGPU. This is coming on the heels of the recent seemingly impressive picture painted by AMD relating to the new Strix Point benchmarks released recently. The leaked Geekbench benchmarks have confirmed the Zen 5 + RDNA 3.5 Strix Point combination packs some power. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Radeon 890M performance has been highlighted.
The Radeon 890M scored 46,298 in Geekbench 6.3’s Vulkan benchmark and this is in the same range as that of the GeForce RTX 3050 (4GB VRAM) laptop. In OpenCL, it has a score of 42,923 but this was not at par with the corresponding RTX 3050 score. The Radeon 890M’s performance benchmarks on Geekbench indicate a dGPU class and it is expected to improve with subsequent updates and revisions. The Geekbench data also indicate that the Radeon 890M is running 1,868 MT/s memory, which is quite slow for a DDR5 memory architecture.

Xiaomi has finally announced the highly anticipated Redmi K70 Ultra. This is the latest flagship phone from its budget sub-brand and offers top notch specs and features. The Redmi K70 Ultra Champion Edition was unveiled yesterday, and now, the base model has gone official as well.
The Chinese tech giant has unveiled the Redmi K70 Ultra with high end specs and a premium design. The rear features a flat glass panel with curved edges. It has a large camera island that houses the three image sensors and an LED flash module. Adding to its premium feel, you get a metallic frame on the sides. Redmi boasts an IP68 rating on the K70 Ultra for water and dust resistance. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 160.38 x 75.14 x 8.39mm and weighs 211 grams.
Meanwhile, the front sports a tall 6.67-inch OLED display (co-developed with TCL) that offers 1.5K resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, a 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 4000 nits of peak brightness. Beginning with the key USP, the Xiaomi MIX Flip features a large 4.01-inch display which is the largest in the segment. Both smartphones feature a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary sensor is a 50-megapixel sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter on the duo. Although, the Honor 200 offers 2.5x optical zoom compared to the Reno 12 Pro’s 2x optical zoom. The third and final camera is the ultra wide angle lens, which has a 12-megapixel resolution on the Honor phone and an 8-megapixel resolution of the Oppo device. For selfies and video calls, these phones have a 50-megapixel shooter.
These similar specs are also reflected on the front as well. The two mid range smartphones 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and HDR support. Honor’s handset offers a 4,000 nits of peak brightness, which is much higher than the 1200 nits on the Reno 12 Pro. Oppo does have an edge in endurance thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is also rated with IP65 for water and dust resistance.

The Honor 200 was just released in India for a starting price tag of 34,999 INR for the 8GB + 256GB option. But for 32,999 INR, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro is more affordable for an identical starting storage configuration. However, the pricing for both models seem reasonable for the specs and features that are offered.
Oppo’s Reno 12 Pro offers capable specs and features, but one of its highlighting aspects is undoubtedly the use of AI powered software features like the AI Eraser 2.0, AI Clear Face, and more. The Honor 200 has an edge on the hardware front. You get better gaming performance, bigger battery, and more. So depending on how you use the device, you won’t go wrong with either of these phones.
