<p>Things have changed a bit in the past few months, since a number of new OEMs have decided to go with Mediatek&#8217;s low cost yet powerful chips and Sony has been one of them. We recently saw the Sony Xperia E4G, an affordable entry level model running the new Mediatek 64-bit chip. Looks like this will mark a new partnership with Mediatek for its upcoming smartphones.</p>
<p>The first Sony phone to run on a Mediatek SoC was the <a title="Sony announces Xperia C S39h with MediaTek chipset" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2013/07/26/sony-announces-xperia-c-s39h-with-mediatek-chipset/">Xperia C S39h model</a>. However, after that, for some reason, the company decided to stick with Qualcomm for its smartphones. Now, a new report states that after Xperia E4, the Japanese smartphone maker may have many more devices in partnership with Mediatek this year.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/E4g-1.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-42584" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/E4g-1.png?x44794" alt="E4g 1" width="450" height="423" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/E4g-1.png 450w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/E4g-1-300x282.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/E4g-1-447x420.png 447w" sizes="(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px" /></a></p>
<p>The Xperia E4 sports the old MT6582 quad-core SoC. However, in the updated Xperia E4G model, a Mediatek MT6732 64-bit quad-core SoC will be present which clearly shows the company&#8217;s willingness to try out other Mediatek chipsets.</p>
<p>Now, Taiwan media reports that the company is in talks to release new smartphone based on Mediatek&#8217;s powerful MT6752 octa-core 64-bit chipset. It is said that this powerful chipset will give the company&#8217;s products price advantage as compared to other competitors. The same report states that it may even go with the chipmaker&#8217;s high-end lineup like MT6795 for its new products.</p>
<p>However, please note that Sony is yet to confirm any additional Mediatek powered phones for 2015 and hence, we cannot be sure of anything unless the company officially confirms the news.</p>

<p>2014 was quite a year for Chinese cell phone manufacturer, Gionee. One of the phones it released that year was the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2014/10/24/gionee-f301-specs-for-the-first-cellphone-to-use-mtk-mt6732-processor/">Gionee F301 which is the first cell phone to use MediaTek’s MTK6732 processor</a>, one of the CPU manufacturing company’s new 64-bit processors. Gionee also released one of the slimmest cell phones of the year,<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2014/09/02/worlds-slimmest-phone-is-here-leaked-specs-of-gionee-elife-s5-1/"> the Gionee Elife S5.1</a>. The phone’s dimensions are 139.8 X 67.4 X 5.15 mm. How does Gionee plan to follow up these releases? Well, it is already 2015 and the company is already showcasing its new products.</p>
<p>At the most recent China Mobile Global Partner Conference, Gionee unveiled its newest cell phone, the Gionee W900. This phone is most notable for having two 4-inch 1080p display screens. Now, it is finally on sale, however, its display screen does not have FHD resolution but only WVGA resolution.</p>
<p>According to official reports, the Gionee W900 uses a dual 4-inch display panel with an 800 x 480 resolution. It is also a 5-inch capacitive touch screen. Furthermore, this phone uses MediaTek’s MTK6732 quad-core processor. Among other things, it has support for dual-SIM cards. As for memory, it has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It also sports a 5mp front-facing camera and a 13mp rear-facing camera. It is also powered by a 2050 mAh battery and runs the Android 4.4 operating system.</p>
<p>The materials used to design the Gionee W900 include stainless steel and other hard metals. Its other features include voice command and driving mode for when you are driving your car. The Gionee W900 can now be bought at the company’s official online store for 3388 RMB or 546.06 USD.</p>
<p>All in all, it looks like a pretty good phone. One cannot help but wonder what else Gionee has in store for us this year.</p>

<p>Back in September, Meizu released the popular Meizu MX4. This phone, which uses the MT6595 octa-core processor, a 5.36-inch FHD display screen, and has 2GB became an instant best-seller. In addition, there are the numerous versions that have been released since then such as the Meizu MX4 Pro. There is also the version of the MX4<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2014/09/23/meizu-mx4-yunos3-0-versions-specs-leaked/"> that uses the YunOS 3.0.</a> It should be no surprise that it has become one of the big hits of the year considering its design and specifications, and it seems that other companies have noticed too. Malata will soon release its newest phone, the Malata S520 which looks very similar to the popular Meizu MX4.</p>
<p>The Malata S520 definitely has a similar design to the Meizu MX4. Because it sports a 5-inch 720p display screen, it is a bit smaller than the MX4. Its dimensions are 146 x 71.3 x 7.5mm. Unlike the Meizu MX4 which has a unibody chassis, the rear cover of the Malata S520 is removable. Below the screen, it also has a small round Home button like the MX4. The rear-facing camera is also round but protrudes a bit. The Malata S520 also comes with dual LED flash. This phone is available in white and black.</p>
<p>However, the design is where the similarities end. The specifications of the Malata S520 are very different from the Meizu MX4. It is the company’s first 64-bit cell phone. Its CPU processor is the 1.5Ghz MT6732 quad-core chip.It has 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. It also sports a 5mp front-facing camera and a 13mp rear-facing camera. It is powered by a 2100mAh battery. Regarding connectivity, it supports 4G, 3G, and GSM networks as well as dual SIM cards. Its operating system is the Android 4.4.</p>
<p>Malata announced that they will first release the Malata S520 in China this year.</p>

<p><b>Apperance</b></p>
<p><b>       </b>The DOOV L1 comes in two colors: white and pink. The version being reviewed is the pink version. This phone has a metal chassis and a thickness of only 5.9mm.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301503_c3eee.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36897" alt="301503_c3eee" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301503_c3eee.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301503_c3eee.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301503_c3eee-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Side view of the DOOV L1</p>
<p>       The DOOV L1 sports 5.5-inch On-Cell Samsung Amoled display with a 1280 x 720 resolution and 267ppi pixel density. It makes up 80% of the front side of the phone. Although a 720p screen is not nearly as good as a 2K display, it still works well with many devices.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301497_d06b6.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36894" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301497_d06b6.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301497_d06b6.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301497_d06b6-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p align="center">Front of the DOOV L1</p>
<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">        Above the screen, from left to right, are the front-facing camera, receiver, and light and proximity sensor.</p>

<p align="center">The back of the DOOV L1</p>
<p>The back of the DOOV L1 is covered by 0.55mm Corning Gorilla Glass 3 panel.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301502_28b79.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36895" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301502_28b79.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301502_28b79.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301502_28b79-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p>On the upper left corner of the back is an 8mp Sony rear-facing camera and LED flash. This camera is protected by the Corning Gorilla glass placed on the back.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301504_60306.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36891" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301504_60306.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301504_60306.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301504_60306-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p>The DOOV L1 sports a metal chassis and is comfortable to hold. On the left side is the volume switch while on the right side is the unlock button. These are the only buttons surrounding the phone. A large display screen may make it hard for the user to hold the phone, but the DOOV L1&#8217;s design fixes this problem. You can easily hold it with either your left or right hand.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301508_2e9ef.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36890" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301508_2e9ef.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301508_2e9ef.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301508_2e9ef-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p align="center">The bottom of the DOOV L1</p>
<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">        On the top part of the DOOV L1 is a 3.5mm earphone jack and noise-cancelling microphone, while on the bottom, there is a micro USB port. Beside the USB port are speakers. This kind of design creates more room in the back and makes it more beautiful.</p>
<p align="center"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301506_d905d.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36892" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301506_d905d.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="333" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301506_d905d.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301506_d905d-300x199.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: left;" align="center">       Lastly, let us take a look at the card slots. This phone is dual-SIM-supported. The two SIM slots are located on both sides of the power switch.</p>
<p><b>Display screen</b><b> </b></p>
<p style="text-align: left;" align="center"><b>       </b>Although the DOOV L1 sports a 720p display screen, it uses an AMOLED screen which is excellent and provides very realistic graphics. When it comes to the viewing angle, the writer used this phone at a 30-45% angle with a lamp. It turns out that the DOOV L1 has a very wide viewing angle.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;" align="center"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538224611n.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36928" alt="133798670_14163538224611n" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538224611n.jpg?x44794" width="600" height="375" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538224611n.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538224611n-300x187.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;" align="center">Display screen test</p>
<p style="text-align: center;" align="center"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538227911n-1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36929" alt="133798670_14163538227911n (1)" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538227911n-1.jpg?x44794" width="600" height="375" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538227911n-1.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/133798670_14163538227911n-1-300x187.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center;" align="center">Viewing angle test</p>
<p><b>Benchmark scores and performance</b></p>
<p><b> </b>       The DOOV L1 uses the MTK MT6732 64-bit quad-core chip (1.5GHz). To see how this quad-core CPU works, let us take a look at the benchmark scores.</p>
<p>In the AnTuTu benchmark test, it received a score of 30604. A 30000+ score is not bad and already surpasses the scores of many 1999 RMB (325.63 USD) devices.</p>
<p>Next we will take a look at its internet browsing speed using the famous Sunspider app. According to the results of the test, the internet speed for the DOOV L1 is very fast.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301389_7b99e.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36899" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301389_7b99e.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="244" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301389_7b99e.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301389_7b99e-300x146.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Next, we will look at the results the DOOV L1 got in the Nenamark 2 benchmark test which tests the phone’s display chip and whether it can play powerful 3D games well. This phone received a score of 58.0fps (the higher, the better).</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301390_88026.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36898" alt="Doov L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301390_88026.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="281" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301390_88026.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301390_88026-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">       Although you cannot completely base your decision to buy a phone only based on its performance and specifications, you probably won’t buy a phone that, although it may have a nice appearance, has terrible specs and performance. The DOOV L1, though, is a very great device for its price (1999 RMB, 325.69 USD).</span></p>
<p><b>Operating System</b></p>
<p><b> </b>       The DOOV L1 runs the Android 4.4.4-based Super UI. The interface looks very similar to its predecessor and emphasis aesthetics and beauty.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301393_1bb0e.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36908" alt="DOOV L1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301393_1bb0e.jpg?x44794" width="240" height="427" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301393_1bb0e.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301393_1bb0e-168x300.jpg 168w" sizes="(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px" /></a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301427_d78e1.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-36909" alt="301427_d78e1" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301427_d78e1.jpg?x44794" width="240" height="427" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301427_d78e1.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301427_d78e1-168x300.jpg 168w" sizes="(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px" /></a><span style="line-height: 1.5em;">       You can clearly see each app on the main page, and each icon looks so bright and colorful. <p><b>Camera Samples</b></p>
<p><b> </b><b>       </b>The DOOV L1 has been the slimmest selfie phone among 4G phones with 5.5-inch screens.  According to DOOV themselves, it sports an 8mp dual-camera (both front and back), and has an F2.0 aperture, allowing this camera to take in a lot of light. The back camera also comes with a very bright flash, which should help in the dark.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Now check out these sample photos that were taken using this phone.<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301410_d5349.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-36918" alt="301410_d5349" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301410_d5349.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="667" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301410_d5349.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301410_d5349-224x300.jpg 224w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301411_c3f96.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-36919" alt="301411_c3f96" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301411_c3f96.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="667" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301411_c3f96.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301411_c3f96-224x300.jpg 224w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301412_1bb6d.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-36920" alt="301412_1bb6d" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301412_1bb6d.jpg?x44794" width="500" height="667" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301412_1bb6d.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301412_1bb6d-224x300.jpg 224w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301419_ab55c.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-36921 aligncenter" alt="301419_ab55c" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301419_ab55c.jpg?x44794" width="240" height="320" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301419_ab55c.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301419_ab55c-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px" /></a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301426_92eb0.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-36922 aligncenter" alt="301426_92eb0" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301426_92eb0.jpg?x44794" width="240" height="320" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301426_92eb0.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/301426_92eb0-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Competition among CPU manufacturers has been fierce in the market with Qualcomm currently on top while MediaTek has taken a hold of half the market, followed by Samsung and Intel…</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>“In the world of Kung Fu, speed defines the winner.” This is a principle that MediaTek has long followed.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Later this year, MediaTEk will release three new CPUs, the MT6595, MT6752, and MT6732.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><b>The state of MTK is very clear</b></p>
<p><b> </b></p>
<p><b>       </b>The MT6732, which uses four A53 cores, is set to replace the MT6589. It supports up to 13mp for photo taking and 1080p for video recording, and 720p display resolution.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The MT6752, which uses eight A53 cores, will replace the MT6582, supports up to 16mp photo taking, 1080p video taking, and 1080p display resolution.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The MT6595, which uses four A17 cores and four A7 cores, uses the classic big.Little framework, supports up to 20mp photo taking, 4K video recording, and WQXGA display resolution.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>It should be noted that all three are LTE-supported.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/5631e6ee59a4175cd06c305840562ff3_mw_680_wm_0_wmp_3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/5631e6ee59a4175cd06c305840562ff3_mw_680_wm_0_wmp_3.jpg?x44794" alt="5631e6ee59a4175cd06c305840562ff3_mw_680_wm_0_wmp_3" width="650" height="488" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Two editions of the MT6595 CPU will be released. One will be the original MT6595 and the other will be the MT6595m which has a lower frequency and weaker specs.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Regarding the performance, according to ARM, the A17 and A15 are about the same, but this CPU’s power consumption is not that great. Based on how it is used with the RK3288, the A17 seems to work normally. As for the GPU, it uses the PowerVR G6200 which is not bad but overheats more easily.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>According to the table, we can see that both VPU supports, at most, the DDR3 at 933MHz. Like the Qualcomm 808, it supports up to 14.9Gbps.</p>
<p>Regarding its photo specs, according to MediaTek, cameras that use the MT6595m can support up to 16mp while the MT6595 can support up to 20mp. As for its video recording specs, the MT6595 supports recording 4000 pixel videos.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/5470abe68052c72afb19be45bb418d02_mw_680_wm_0_wmp_3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/5470abe68052c72afb19be45bb418d02_mw_680_wm_0_wmp_3.jpg?x44794" alt="5470abe68052c72afb19be45bb418d02_mw_680_wm_0_wmp_3" width="500" height="295" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The MT6595 does not have any clear strengths but it does not have any clear weaknesses either. Does it support 2k display resolution? Yes. 4k video? Yes. 4G internet? Yes. 5GHz WiFi? Yes. HD cameras? Yes.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>You can get all of this at even under $40. You can just go ahead and take it. So, what are you waiting for? Just grab your phone and dial this hotline (65958888) for a very awesome phone!</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>What you should take note of, though, is its release date.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>There’s a saying, “Speed is the soldier’s greatest weapon.” Not surprisingly, we may see the first device to use the MT6595 at the end of the year. At this point, the MT6595 won’t have any competition. CPUs with better performance will be too expensive while the performance of cheaper ones will not be as good. Given the reasonable price and average performance, this chipset should sell more than the rest.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>To compete with the MT6595, Qualcomm will use the Snapdragon 805 which will use Krait cores. Its benchmark test score is about the same as the MT6595 although in practical use, the 805 has better memory and bigger bandwidth.  But the MT6595 could sell with the following slogan: “Eight cores! Beautiful words to the Chinese market’s ears!”</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Even though MediaTek hopes to enter the high-end market with the MT6595, the Snapdragon 800 has already sold at under 2000 RMB (321.20 USD). Phones that carry the MT6595 are expected to compete with each other costing between 1000 RMB (160.52 USD). Some phones may even be sold at under 999 RMB (160.36 USD).</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Will the MT6595 be a success or a dud?</p>

<p>Although Google is said to abandom Nexus series, there is new product to come out this year. Now, 2 developers from Germany found Nexus 6 and Nexus 8 words in Chromium’s source code, which means Nexus series will last at least 1 generation.<span id="more-23784"></span></p>
<p>In fact, Source code from Chromium will usually leak some newest information about Google’s recent device and system, like the “Flounder “ of Nexus’s developing code.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/9197f20f16444b0693d5e4910fe28f2b.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-23786 aligncenter" alt="nexus 6 mtk" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/9197f20f16444b0693d5e4910fe28f2b.jpg?x44794" width="600" height="376" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/9197f20f16444b0693d5e4910fe28f2b.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/9197f20f16444b0693d5e4910fe28f2b-300x188.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Beside this, although it is not known what feature will <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nexus-6">Nexus 6</a> and Nexus 8 to be, the outside world is expecting the Nexus 6 will be produced by LG, and it is the mini edition of LG G3. Some rumors reckon the Nexus 6 will reduce the screen size to 5.2 inch, but it is still unknown wheter it supports 2K resolution. Besides, rumors indicate Google is communicating with some Asian fingerprint identification sensor provider, so the Nexus6 may have that function.</p>
<p>Worthy mentioned, according to “Taiwan economic daily”, Google’s Nexus 6 will use MTK’s 64-bit processor, detailed type is still unknown, which may be 1.5 GHz quad core MT6732 or 2.0GHz 8 core <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/mt6752">MT6752</a>. It is predicted Google will choose one from these 2 and use it on the Nexus 6.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/b4930abe536a4736990be9e899f9e2fb.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-23787 aligncenter" alt="MTK nexus 6" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/b4930abe536a4736990be9e899f9e2fb.jpg?x44794" width="600" height="488" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/b4930abe536a4736990be9e899f9e2fb.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/b4930abe536a4736990be9e899f9e2fb-300x244.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>However, foreign website Android Geeks predict Google’s Nexus 6 will carry Krait 450 structured Quadcomm Snapdragon 805 quad core processor, and Adreno 420 graphics processor and 3GB RAM with 16/32GB storage space. The camera is still unknown.</p>
<p>Predicted to be launched in Autumu</p>
<p>Because <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/nexus">Nexus</a> series will build newest Android system, the Google I/O developers conference that open at 25th June is considered the launch time of the phone. However, depended on the exposure rate of Nexus 6, it is less possible to be release next month, and Google’s Nexus devices are always launch at autumn, it is predicted the Nexus 6 will follow the trend.</p>
<p>Claimed by Taiwanese media “electronic tmies”, Google choose to cooperate with HTC, will launch newest 8 inch tablet. If it is true, that means HTC will cooperate with Nexus series products again after 4years.</p>

<p>Perhaps as some noticed, the process of product of 4G LTE , so-called the MTK “three most advantage brands”, and 64bit phones are ahead of schedule., phones hosting MTK 4G LTE solution are coming soon. MTK 4G LTE products are hopeful to be seen on the market before the end of June, and the 4G LTE octa-cores SOC MT6595’s launch time has been ahead to July.</p>
<p>As the far away 64 bit processor, it comes some rumors too. After heard “ Google new smart phone was possible adapting <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mtk">MTK</a> 64 bit <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/4G">4G LTE</a> chip to launch,” another has come out and this time is domestic producer..</p>
<p>Insider Jiutang Pan has exposed domestic giant Huawei is possible cooperate with MTC on 64 bit products, launching smart phone products that carries <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mt6752">MT6752</a>. MTK has successfully become the 3rd largest IC design factory because of hot sales of its products. For the chip production has been favoured by domestic and global big bands, Huawei decided to project and launch MT6752 octa-core 64-bit LTE mobile phone, which is a positive response to MTK. Both sides have well cooperated at the 3G generation so there would be no much issue in the 4G era.</p>
<p>Make a review in Huawei’s current production line, most are still 3G products. Although 4G products were not as plentiful as Coolpad, it is still one of some sells 4G products a lot. Apart with rumored <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-ascend-p7">Huawei Ascend P7</a>, and thousand-Yuan-class G620, G716 and MATE2, X1. And there are some 4G products following in. It is obviously the main force of Huawei is still 4G products, it will be the 4th quarter if the 64bit phone exists.</p>
<p>MT6752 and MT6732 are both revealed on the MWC in February, the former has 8 cores while the latter is quad core design. Both are cortex-A53 processor, but the Mt6572’s specs is better than MT6732, the main frequency is 2GHz and above, supporting 64bit system and dual mode dual standby. ( including LTE, 3G and GSM voice data), integrate ARM Mali-T760 GPU, supporting H2.65/1080P 30fps hardware decoding, 16mp ISP and 1080P screen and so on. CPU pin set is completely capable with MT6732.</p>
<p>Without accident, many domestic companies has MT6752/MT6732 related plan rather than Huawei, each product of MTK produced effect on the market, let’s wait and see the 64 bit storm.</p>

With this launch by MediaTek of the MT6752 and the MT6732, there is going to be far more competition in the realm of 64 bit smartphones. There are several entities already in this category that MediaTek plans to become a part of. These other players include:<br />
•    Broadcom<br />
•    Intel<br />
•    Marvell Technology<br />
•    Nvidia<br />
•    Qualcomm<br />
The target audience for the 64 bit CPUs offered by MediaTek is going to be those that are at an entry level or mid-range level smartphones. The forecasted demand for them will be emerging markets around the world, especially in China.<br />
Such a launch by MediaTek is very encouraging as the use of 8 core and 64 core CPUs is going to become very commonplace technology for entry level and mid-range smartphones. It is anticipated this will occur by the mid-point of 2014.</p>

<p>MediaTek Inc. held a new brand conference in Beijing in the afternoon on April 23th. Leaders like CEO Xie Qing jiang, Radio &amp; Satcoms CEO Zhu Shangzu etc. were in conference. The theme of this conference is to create infinite possibility/Everyday Genius, and to be the core meaning of new products at the same time. MediaTek Inc. would secure the middle and low end market and enter the Super Mid Market at the same time, covering more users.</p>
<p>The theme is &#8220;super terminal market&#8221; in this conference. This new concept is different from the traditional midmarket. Super Mid Market user&#8217;s group is mainly middle class with stable income in large numbers.</p>
<p>These people have a higher demand for products. Not only is it good to use. To put it bluntly, Super Mid Market is synonymous with higher end powering from MediaTek Inc. that meets the needs of more customers with better products, covering more users, no longer cling to mid-range.</p>
<p>The products are not the point in this new brand conference, but the 4 G / 64– bit new products has also been mentioned. Octa Core 4 G chips of MediaTek Inc will be listed in the third quarter of this year, 64 -bit product MT6732 / MT6752 will come out in the second half of the year. The solution scheme to the tablet, wearable smart devices, and smart TV will be introduced later.</p>
<p>A phrase that summarizes the conference, would be &#8211; MediaTek is changing! In addition to cutting into Super Mid Market, it is inevitable to face Qualcomma in the high-end market. More and more big brands joining can also help with MediaTek brand image promotion. The latest news said that GOOGLE’s new Nexus will use MTK’s 64 &#8211; bit solution.</p>
