The number of digital events is increasing day by day. Today, many brands prefer to announce their new products to the entire world simultaneously in a virtual environment. However, events where all the big tech brands come together still exist. One of the largest of these is the Mobile World Congress (MWC). The show witnesses the launch of many smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, and other new technologies. One of the brands that will show up at the event is OnePlus. So what will the company show here? OnePlus To Showcase Concept at MWC 2023

The Mobile World Congress, which begins in the last week of February every year, will continue this tradition in 2023. It is organized by the GSMA and will take place in Barcelona, Spain from Monday, February 27th to Thursday, March 2nd. The media launches will occur on the preceding days, February 25th and 26th, giving us a few days of rapid announcements.

OnePlus recently unveiled its new flagship smartphone at its Cloud 11 event. However, don’t let that lead you to believe that the company has nothing to showcase at MWC 2023. According to a statement from OnePlus, the upcoming concept smartphone that will be displayed at the event will feature “an imaginative design with industry-first technology.” Also, the OnePlus 11 will show the company’s vision for the company’s vision for the future of smartphones, with innovation and breakthroughs to come.

At CES 2020, OnePlus showcased its first concept smartphone, the OnePlus Concept One. The device was essentially a OnePlus 7T with an invisible camera island and a design inspired by McLaren. The following year, the company tried something similar with the 8T model, but it was unable to achieve the desired outcome. Despite these efforts, nothing that was done could be considered the future of smartphones. However, the OnePlus Concept Two has the potential to change that.

Unfortunately, there is not much information available at the moment about what the company will showcase. However, there are rumors about advanced under-screen camera technology, a more successful and viable foldable display concept, and advanced camera technologies. In addition, a device that prioritizes cooling and performance may also be revealed. Regardless of the highlight of the phone, it is expected to be at least as impressive as its predecessors. OnePlus 11 to feature corner punch-hole display, 50MP triple cameras

Several reports have claimed that OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus 11 Pro flagship phone by the end of 2022. However, according to a new report, the company will instead unveil the vanilla OnePlus 11 instead of the Pro model. Now tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some vital information about the OnePlus 11.

Last month, SmartPrix published the CAD renders of the OnePlus 11 Pro. The phone was seen sporting a curved edge display with a punch-hole at the top-left position. Tipster DCS had previously claimed that the device’s display would have a centrally positioned punch-hole, but now he has claimed that the OnePlus 11 will have a punch-hole at the upper-left corner as it was seen in the renders.

The OnePlus 11’s screen will support a 2K resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels. For photography, the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto snapper.

DCS did not reveal any other information on the specs of the device. However, it appears that the OnePlus 11 will arrive with the same specs that were expected to arrive on the Pro model. The device is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform and a 6.7-inch AMOLED 120Hz panel with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The OnePlus 11 is expected to arrive with 8 GB / 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of internal storage. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. The device will run on Android 13 OS with OxygenOS 13 on top.

In related news, OnePlus is also said to be working on the OnePlus 11R. Leaked specifications of the device have revealed that it has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, 50-megapixel triple cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with 100W charging.

OnePlus Nord CE spec sheet leaks, will have a 4500mAh battery

OnePlus has confirmed that its next mid-range device will launch as the OnePlus Nord CE. The device has been described as a cheaper version of last year’s OnePlus Nord with a focus on the core features of the phone. Ahead of the launch, the full specifications of the device have been leaked.

The specifications were posted by Yogesh (@heyitsyogesh) in collaboration with MySmartPrice, and from the details, OnePlus has truly trimmed down the original Nord. For example, there are now fewer cameras.

The Nord CE will have a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. It will have a notch at the top left corner but it will house a single camera – a 16MP sensor. Gone is the Snapdragon 765G processor of the Nord, and in its place is a Snapdragon 750G. The source says that users will be able to pick up the phone in two configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB and 8GB RAM + 128GB. However, it appears there will also be a 12GB RAM version as seen on Geekbench by Nashvillechatterclass. The storage type is said to be UFS 2.1.

For the rear cameras, there are now three. A 64MP main sensor from OmniVision, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. One area where the Nord CE improves upon is its battery capacity. It packs a 4500mAh battery, a bump from the 4150mAh inside the Nord. The device will support a new fast-charging technology called Warp Charge 30T Plus which will refill the battery from empty to 70% in 30 minutes.

Other features are a plastic build with an overall thickness of 7.9mm, a mono speaker, an audio jack, and Android 11 pre-installed. It has also been revealed that the phone will not have an alert slider, a feature the OnePlus Nord has but which was not included in the cheaper Nord models.

The OnePlus Nord CE is expected to be priced at around ₹25,000 for the 8GB RAM version. It will be available for pre-order on June 11 along with free gifts worth ₹2,699

Do note that while the OnePlus 8T is unlocked, the OnePlus 7T available is the T-Mobile version. Nevertheless, there are ways to get the device unlocked.

The OnePlus 7T sold in the US has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is available in Frosted Silver. The phone has a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2400 x 1080 resolution.

There is a Snapdragon 855+ processor under the hood along with a 3800mAh battery with support for 30W wired fast charging (Warp charge 30T). On the back of the phone is a 48MP+12MP+16MP triple camera setup while the selfie camera is a 16MP sensor that sits inside the waterdrop notch. The device also has stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and runs Android 10. OnePlus has confirmed that it will be updated to Android 11.

OxygenOS 5.0.4 Brings July Security Patch and Camera Improvement to OnePlus 3/3T

The OnePlus 6 is the latest device from OnePlus, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that it is regularly in the news and getting updates and fixes. However, OnePlus hasn’t abandoned its older devices. A new update has hit 2016’s OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T and it brings the latest security patch and some device improvements.

The update is rolling out as OxygenOS 5.0.4 and comes with July’s security patch. However, a staff member on the OnePlus forum says an error in updating a string in settings under security patch causes it to incorrectly show as June.

The update also improves the camera quality of the front camera and fixes a manual ISO setting issue associated with 3rd party camera apps. It also fixes a parallel Whatsapp crash issue and camera zoom-in issues for Snapchat.

While owners of both devices are patiently waiting for OnePlus to update the device to Android 8.1 Oreo, this update doesn’t do that. But there is good news.

Another staff on the forum has confirmed that this won’t be the last update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. He also acknowledged that users of both phones are “eagerly waiting for some big changes” but will have to be patient. He then added that more details would be shared very soon.

The update is 95MB in size and has already started hitting some devices. If you haven’t gotten it yet, it will arrive in the next few days.

The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T have satisfied the condition of receiving two major OS updates. However, they are still going to get one more year of security updates which should end by November 2019.

Lava Red OnePlus 5T Goes Global, Sale Begins Tomorrow

Just as we predicted yesterday, OnePlus has globally launched the Lava Red variant of the OnePlus 5T. The new color variant is now available in all countries excluding Australia.

The Lava Red OnePlus 5T will sell for €559 in Europe, £499 in the UK, and $559 in the US. Sales begins tomorrow at exactly 10:00 AM (local time for all countries). Do remember that this variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

It is easy to see that OnePlus has planned the global release in time for Valentine’s Day. It has even released a sweet video ad that features American actress Emily Ratajkowski, for the love-themed phone.

If you pre-order the Lava Red OnePlus 5T before February 9, OnePlus says they will make it a priority order just so you can get your device in time.

OnePlus 5 Soft Gold Limited Edition Now Official

OnePlus has taken the wraps off its new smartphone set to launch today. Like the teaser suggested, it is actually a new color variant of the OnePlus 5. Along with the Slate Gray and Midnight Black color variants, the OnePlus 5 is now available in Soft Gold too.

The new OnePlus 5 Soft Gold is the same hue as that of the gold OnePlus 3T from last year, so there is nothing spectacular about it. The back has a matte finish, antenna lines are of a different shade and the front panel is white. It does look good and should feel good when you hold it too.

Specification wise, it is the same as that of the Slate Gray, which means it has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. So if you have been hoping it will arrive with both configurations, sorry to burst your bubble.

The OnePlus 5 Soft Gold will sell for $479, same price as the gray model and it ships immediately. The official video says it is a limited edition, so you may want to hurry if you plan to pick it up as there is no info about the units available.

The OnePlus 5 has a 5.5-inch FHD AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 835 processor and dual rear cameras. There is no microSD card slot, but you get two SIM card slots. It also has NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and a front mounted fingerprint scanner. Battery capacity is 3300mAh with support for OnePlus Dash Charge technology.
