<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> has recently launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/23/poco-f6-f6-pro-launched-in-global-markets/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco F6 series</a> in global markets. While Poco has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/29/poco-f6-goes-on-sale-india/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">launched the base variant F6 in India</a>, they have not released the F6 Pro there. The F6 Pro is available in most European countries and comes with attractive pricing.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Samsung&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s23-fe/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy S23 Fan Edition</a> (FE), which was launched last year with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, has recently received a huge price cut in some global markets. This makes it a strong competitor to the Poco F6 Pro. Let&#8217;s compare these devices to determine which one comes out on top.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Poco F6 Pro" class="wp-image-628402" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h3><strong>Display</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro boasts a larger 6.67-inch WQHD+ Flow AMOLED DotDisplay compared to the Galaxy S23 FE&#8217;s 6.4-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display. This translates to a sharper resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels on the F6 Pro versus 2340 x 1080 pixels on the S23 FE. Both offer a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a seamless user experience.</p>

<p>However, the F6 Pro pulls ahead in terms of peak brightness, reaching an impressive 4000 nits compared to the S23 FE&#8217;s 1450 nits. This translates to better outdoor visibility for the F6 Pro. While both devices feature HDR10+ for enhanced contrast, the Galaxy S23 FE lacks Dolby Vision support, which provides more accurate color reproduction.</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro packs the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> chipset, potentially offering superior processing power and gaming performance compared to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-1/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Gen 1</a>, depending on the market. The F6 Pro also boasts higher RAM options, reaching up to 16GB LPDDR5X compared to the S23 FE&#8217;s 8GB. This can be beneficial for multitasking and running demanding applications. Both phones offer ample storage options, with the F6 Pro reaching a staggering 1TB (UFS 4.0) compared to the S23 FE&#8217;s maximum of 256GB (UFS 3.1).</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a larger 1/1.55-inch sensor size while the S23 FE comes with a similar 50MP main camera with Samsung ISOCELL (S5K) GN3 1/1.57-inch sensor and OIS. However, the S23 FE offers a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, which is missing on the F6 Pro. This can be crucial for users who want to capture distant objects with good detail.</p>

<p>The F6 Pro has an 8MP ultra-wide lens, while the S23 FE offers a 12MP ultra-wide lens, potentially capturing wider shots with more details. Both phones have a 16MP or 10MP front camera, respectively, for selfies and video calls.</p>

<p>Ultimately, the camera system that suits you best depends on your priorities. If low-light photography is essential, the F6 Pro might be a better choice. If you need a telephoto lens for zooming in on distant objects, the S23 FE takes the lead.</p>

<h3><strong>Battery</strong></h3>

<p>Both phones pack sizable batteries &#8211; 5000mAh for the F6 Pro and 4500mAh for the S23 FE. However, the F6 Pro boasts a clear advantage with its 120W HyperCharge technology, claiming a full charge in just 19 minutes. The S23 FE offers a more modest 25W fast charging and lacks support for such rapid charging speeds.</p>

<h3><strong>Software</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro runs on Xiaomi HyperOS, a custom interface based on Android. The Galaxy S23 FE runs on Samsung&#8217;s One UI 5.1, based on Android 13 (upgradable to Android 14). Both offer custom features and functionalities, but user preference often dictates which interface feels more intuitive.</p>

<p>One significant advantage of the S23 FE is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a>&#8216;s commitment to software updates. The S23 FE is promised 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates, providing long-term software support and security. While Poco F6 Pro is offering 3 years of major software updates and an additional year of security patches.</p>

<h3><strong>Other Features</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro boasts several additional features missing on the S23 FE. These include a more advanced in-display fingerprint sensor that doubles as a heart rate monitor, a higher Bluetooth version (v5.3), and a larger 5000mm² cooling area for better heat management during demanding tasks.</p>

<p>The S23 FE, however, retains a crucial advantage &#8211; an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, which is missing on the F6 Pro. This makes the S23 FE more suitable for users who need a phone that can withstand the elements.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The F6 Pro starts at a competitive price of $449 (€499) for the 12GB+256GB variant during the early bird period. The Galaxy S23 FE&#8217;s price might be slightly higher depending on the market. While the exact pricing can fluctuate, after a recent price drop, the S23 FE can be found around $500 or £499 in some global markets. Since prices can vary depending on your location and retailer, it&#8217;s always best to check for the most up-to-date pricing in your area before making a purchase decision.</p>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<p>In conclusion, both the Poco F6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 FE are compelling options but cater to distinct user preferences. The F6 Pro shines with its top-of-the-line processor, superior display, and incredibly fast charging. However, it lacks a telephoto lens and an IP68 rating. Conversely, the S23 FE offers a versatile camera system, a guaranteed software update timeline, and water resistance, but with a less powerful processor and slower charging. Consider your priorities &#8211; raw performance and a gorgeous display, or a well-rounded camera and long-term software support &#8211; to pick the phone that best suits your needs.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="POCO F6 vs POCO F6 Pro" class="wp-image-627521" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-vs-POCO-F6-Pro.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>POCO F6 Pro (L) &amp; POCO F6 (R)</figcaption></figure></div>

<h3>POCO F6 vs POCO F6 Pro: Different Flagship Chips</h3>

<p>The POCO F6 was announced in India with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This is one of the latest high-end chips from Qualcomm and was built for affordable flagship devices. On the other hand, the POCO F6 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. While the latter is a year older, it should offer similar performance (at least on paper). Although, the users will be hard-pressed to notice any difference between the two. </p>

<h3>Design &amp; Display</h3>

<p>The Chinese brand unveiled the base model with a sleek flat design on the rear with three rings for the camera sensors. Meanwhile, the Pro variant houses a large camera island for the three image sensors. This is one area where you can see that the devices were originally from different series from Redmi. </p>

<p>Moving to the front, both models sport a 6.67-inch OLED display integrated with a fingerprint scanner and a 120Hz refresh rate. The POCO F6 offers a 1.5K resolution and 2,400 nits of peak brightness and the F6 Pro comes with a higher 2K resolution and an impressive 4,000 nits of peak brightness. It is a flat panel on the F6 duo with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. </p>

<h3>Cameras: Dual vs Triple</h3>

<p>A noticeable difference between the two is the rear camera setup. The vanilla F6 offers a 50-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. Its more expensive sibling offers three image sensors at the back, which consist of a 50-megapixel main, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For videos calls and selfies, the front houses a 20-megapixel shooter on the F6 and a 16-megapixel camera on the F6 Pro.</p>

<h3>Storage Option &amp; Charging Speeds</h3>

<p>The POCO F6 offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage as its top variant. But the F6 Pro maxes out with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. These differences are also present in the charging rates as well. While both models are powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack, the F6 maxes out at 90W wired charging whereas the Pro variant offers 120W wired fast charging.</p>

<h3>Pricing &amp; Availability</h3>

<p>POCO has announced the F6 series globally, but both models aren&#8217;t universally available in every region. For example, the POCO F6 Pro skipped the Indian market. Looking at their pricing, the POCO F6 starts from 379 US Dollars, while the POCO F6 Pro starts from 499 US Dollars. The former comes in Titanium Glow, Classic Black, and Everland Green colors, and the latter is available in simple Black and White options.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-f6-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO F6 Pro</a> will be officially unveiled in the global market later this week. But ahead of any official announcement, the brand&#8217;s latest teaser has taken on South Korean tech giant Samsung and its flagship phone. The Chinese brand recently shared a teaser where it compared its upcoming F6 Pro against the Galaxy S24+. So let&#8217;s see which one appears better on paper.</p>

<h2>POCO F6 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S24+</h2>

<p>To recall, the POCO F6 series will be announced on 23rd May 2024. These smartphones would also arrive with the brand&#8217;s first-ever tablet, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/20/poco-pad-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO Pad</a>. To hype up the upcoming launch, POCO shared a new teaser that had the device pitted against the Galaxy S24+. The company claims that there is no competition in the price range the F6 Pro will launch in. The two devices were compared in various aspects.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-Pro-vs-Samsung-Galaxy-S24-.jpeg?x44794" alt="POCO F6 Pro" class="wp-image-626440" width="646" height="808" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-Pro-vs-Samsung-Galaxy-S24-.jpeg 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-Pro-vs-Samsung-Galaxy-S24--240x300.jpeg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-Pro-vs-Samsung-Galaxy-S24--696x870.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/POCO-F6-Pro-vs-Samsung-Galaxy-S24--336x420.jpeg 336w" sizes="(max-width: 646px) 100vw, 646px" /></figure></div>

<p>Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy S24+ launched with the Exynos 2400, while the POCO F6 Pro arrives with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. It supports 120W wired fast charging, which is quite a bit faster than the 45W wired fast charging on the Galaxy S24+. The latter sports a QHD+ 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2600 nits of peak brightness and the former sports a WQHD+ 120Hz Flow AMOLED screen with 4000 nits of peak brightness. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the F6 Pro and the S24+ is powered by a 4,900mAh cell.</p>

<p>The F6 Pro has a premium metal frame and the S24+ has an Armor aluminum frame. Both devices offer a 50-megapixel triple camera setup with OIS. Apart from these specs, the pricing is likely another area where the F6 Pro may outclass Samsung&#8217;s current-gen flagship device. The Galaxy S24+ starts from 999 US Dollars and goes up to 1,199 US Dollars. Meanwhile, all three storage variants of the POCO F6 Pro with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage still won&#8217;t cross the 1000 US Dollar mark. So stick around for more as we will be covering the launch event soon.</p>

<p>Although the official launch of the Poco F6 Pro is slated for May 23rd, an unboxing video of the smartphone has surfaced online, revealing the phone’s design and specifications. </p>

<p>The video, uploaded by <em>ComputerHoy</em> on Dailymotion, shows the phone in its black color scheme. There’s a rectangular camera island that stretches across the edge and edge of the rear panel. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Unboxing.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco F6 Pro Unboxing" class="wp-image-626097" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Unboxing.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Unboxing-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Unboxing-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Unboxing-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Unboxing-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>It houses four individual rings: three for cameras and one for the flash. The primary sensor is rumored to be a 50MP unit with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).</p>

<p>The camera island has its own glossy character to it, contrasting with the phone&#8217;s matte back. The back panel itself is flat with slightly curved edges, mirroring the design of the flat aluminum side frames. The front display, based on the video, appears flat as well, featuring a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="600" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Real-life-image.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-626098" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Real-life-image.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Real-life-image-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Real-life-image-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Real-life-image-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></figure></div>

<p>Turning to the specs, the Poco F6 Pro will have a WQHD+ Flow AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it might pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, the previous generation&#8217;s flagship processor. The software side is said to be handled by Poco&#8217;s HyperOS, with support for 120W HyperCharge fast charging.</p>

<p>The unboxing video also reveals that the retail package will include a 120W charging brick, a charging cable, a SIM card ejector tool, and a protective phone case.</p>

<p>Poco F6 Pro is essentially a rebranded Redmi K70 for the global market. It’s price has also been leaked via a recent Amazon listing. The top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB will retail for EUR 619.90.</p>

<p>Poco will spill all the beans on F6 Pro’s specs and price on May 23rd. But the unofficial unboxing does give us a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming phone.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> has announced its plans to launch the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/13/poco-f6-series-global-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco F6 series on May 23</a>. The series will come with two models, the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro. Both of these devices are essentially rebranded versions of the China-exclusive Redmi Turbo 3 and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70</a>. In this article, we will discuss all the specs and features we expect on the Poco F6 Pro.</p>

<h3>Design &amp; display</h3>

<p>Poco has recently confirmed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/14/poco-f6-pro-design-revealed-ahead-of-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">design of the F6 Pro</a>, revealing that it looks exactly like the Redmi K70 (<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/06/redmi-k70-sd-pro-full-review-best-2k-straight-screen-phones-to-buy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">full review</a>). It features flat sides, a slightly curved back panel for a comfortable grip, and the same rectangular camera module with four cutouts, three of them featuring a camera sensor, and the last cutout housing a flash module.</p>

<p>On the front, we can expect a 6.67-inch 2K resolution (3200 x 1440p) display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and up to 3840Hz PWM dimming. The display will likely offer complete coverage of the DCI-PC color gamut, as well as support for HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Dolby Vision.</p>

<h3>Performance</h3>

<p>Under the hood, the Poco F6 Pro will most likely come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is Qualcomm&#8217;s flagship processor from last year. This chip is built on TSMC&#8217;s 4nm node, offering a mind-blowing AnTuTu score of around 1.71 million. For comparison, its predecessor, the Poco F5 Pro achieves an AnTuTu score is around 1.05 million.</p>

<p>The phone will also feature upgraded RAM and storage, replacing LPDDR5 RAM with LPDDR5x and UFS 3.1 storage with UFS 4.0 storage. We expect the device to debut with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. For heat management, the brand could include a 5000 mm2 heat dissipation system.</p>

<h3>Optics</h3>

<p>Like the Redmi K70, we expect the Poco F6 Pro to also come with the Sony LYT 800 50MP main camera sensor. This 1&#8243; Type camera sensor was announced last year, and it uses Sony&#8217;s cutting-edge stacked sensor technology. It will also come with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. The two other cutouts on the back will likely house an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.</p>

<p>On the front, the camera device is expected to offer a 16MP selfie snapper. The primary camera will likely support up to 8K video recording in 24FPS, while also offering 4K &amp; 1080p recording in 60FPS. The front camera will likely offer up to 1080p 60FPS video recording.</p>

<h3>Battery &amp; other details</h3>

<p>The battery could be a bit smaller than last year at 5,000mAh, however, it is expected to offer 120W fast charging compared to the 67W of its predecessor. The device could also come with Xiaomi&#8217;s P2 fast charging chip and G1 battery management chip.</p>

<p>The phone is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and stereo speakers. It will likely debut with Xiaomi&#8217;s HyperOS, which is an Android 14-based operating system. For connectivity, we can expect the device to offer Wi-Fi 7 support, as well as Wi-Fi 6 (dual-band), as well as Bluetooth 5.3, offering support for AAC / LDAC / LHDC 5.0 audio codecs.</p>

<p>The Poco F6 series will be officially unveiled on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/13/poco-f6-series-global-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">May 23rd</a>, but leaks are already giving us a good idea of what to expect. In fact,<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Xiaomi </a>itself confirmed that these<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/10/poco-f6-pro-is-equal-to-redmi-k70-xiaomi-accidentally-confirms/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> phones are basically rebranded versions </a>of their existing China-exclusive phones. </p>

<p>So the focus of most buyers might now have been shifted to price as Poco is known for its competitive pricing strategy. </p>

<p>It looks like you won&#8217;t have to wait long for that, as tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has stumbled upon what seems to be an early listing for the Poco F6 Pro on Amazon. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="474" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Price.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco F6 Pro Price" class="wp-image-625110" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Price.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Price-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Price-768x404.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Price-696x367.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-Price-797x420.jpg 797w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Although the listing shows only the top-tier variant with 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage, its price tag is quite impressive at €619.90.&nbsp;</p>

<p>That’s even lower than the starting price of last year&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f5-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco F5 Pro</a> whose 12/512GB configuration was launched at €649.90. So F6 Pro’s base variant will likely have a very aggressive price. </p>

<p>In addition to pricing, the Amazon listing confirms earlier rumors about the specifications of the Poco F6 Pro. It&#8217;s expected to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-1024x588.png?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>The display is rumored to be a WQHD+ panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a peak brightness of 4000 nits for excellent visibility in bright outdoor conditions.</p>

<p>When it comes to the camera setup, leaks suggest that the Poco F6 Pro will sport a triple-camera system, led by a 50MP main sensor. Although details about the other cameras are scarce, they could be an ultrawide and a macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, there will be a 16MP front-facing camera.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the leaked information mentions that the Poco F6 Pro will come with MIUI 14 pre-installed, rather than Xiaomi&#8217;s latest HyperOS skin. It seems like a typo, as it wouldn&#8217;t make sense for the phone to ship with MIUI as HyperOS has been for around months now.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> has a global launch event scheduled for May 20, 2024, where it plans to debut the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/13/poco-f6-series-global-launch-date/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco F6 series smartphones</a>. The series will consist of two devices: the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro. Yesterday, the brand indirectly confirmed that the Poco F6 is a rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone by revealing its design. Now, the brand has also revealed the design of the Poco F6 Pro, which is similar to the Redmi K70 (China exclusive).</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="819" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-819x1024.jpeg?x44794" alt="Poco F6 Pro" class="wp-image-625084" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-819x1024.jpeg 819w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-240x300.jpeg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-768x960.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-696x870.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-1068x1335.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3-336x420.jpeg 336w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/GNC24iRa0AAFDM3.jpeg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure></div>

<p>A recently shared teaser on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed the design of the Poco F6 Pro. It has flat sides, a slightly curved back panel for a comfortable grip, and the same rectangular camera module with four cutouts as the Redmi K70. So at this point, we can expect the Poco F6 Pro to be an exact copy of the Redmi K70, just with a different name and branding.</p>

<h2>Poco F6 Pro expected specs:</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="647" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-1024x647.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-586701" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-1024x647.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-300x190.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-768x485.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-696x440.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-1068x675.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo-665x420.jpg 665w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Redmi-K70-duo.jpg 1092w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K70</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The upcoming Poco F6 Pro is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, potentially paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It&#8217;s likely to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For its camera setup, there could be a 50MP primary camera with OIS, along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, it might have a 16MP selfie camera. The device is rumored to come with a sizable 5,000mAh battery and support for 120W fast charging.</p>

<p>Next week is packed with some exciting smartphone launches. We have the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/13/infinix-gt-20-pro-gt-book-may-21/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Infinix GT 20 Pro</a> and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/13/realme-gt-6t-indian-launch-date-antutu-score-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme GT 6T</a> launching in India on May 21 and 22, respectively. Now, Poco has picked May 23 as the launch date of its highly anticipated Poco F6 and F6 Pro smartphones in the global market.</p>

<p>In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> confirmed that it will be hosting a launch event in Dubai at 15:00 (GMT+4) on May 23 for the global debut of the Poco F6 series. The brand will hold a dedicated launch event at 4:30pm (IST) on the same day in India. Although the Poco F6 has confirmed its arrival in the Indian market, the release of the Pro variant remains unclear.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="588" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-1024x588.png?x44794" alt="Poco F6" class="wp-image-624793" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-1024x588.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-300x172.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-768x441.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-696x400.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-1068x614.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216-731x420.png 731w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Screenshot-2024-05-13-142216.png 1107w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>While the brand has not confirmed any specifications or features of the Poco F6 or the F6 Pro, the teaser on Flipkart has pretty much confirmed the speculation that the Poco F6 is a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3, while the F6 Pro was recently revealed to be a rebrand of the Redmi K70 through a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/10/poco-f6-pro-is-equal-to-redmi-k70-xiaomi-accidentally-confirms/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">software build meant for the F6 Pro</a>.</p>

<h2>Poco F6 / F6 Pro expected specs:</h2>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro is expected to feature a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/03/poco-f6-pro-spotted-on-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 16GB RAM</a>. It will likely have a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.&nbsp; For optics, the device will feature a 50MP OIS primary camera, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro sensor. It is also expected to have a 16MP selfie snapper. The device is expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack, paired with 120W fast charging.</p>

<p>The vanilla Poco F6 will likely have a 6.67-inch 1.5K resolution AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device could pack a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/03/18/snapdragon-8s-gen-3-launched/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8s Gen 3</a>&nbsp;chip, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will have a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor, along with an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide sensor. As for the battery pack, we can expect a 5,000mAh unit with support for 90W fast charging.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a> seems to have accidentally let slip some updates for the Poco F6 Pro, even though the phone hasn&#8217;t been officially announced yet. As reported by <em><a href="https://www.gsmarena.com/poco_f6_pro_is_redmi_k70_xiaomi_accidentally_reveals-news-62793.php" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GSMArena</a></em>, these updates reveal the phone&#8217;s codename as &#8220;Vermeer,&#8221; which is also the model name for the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70</a> Chinese model.</p>

<p>Xiaomi typically avoids reusing codenames for different devices. However, it seems they&#8217;ve taken a slightly lazy approach with the Poco F6 Pro. Nevertheless, this connection suggests that the Poco F6 Pro is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi K70.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="558" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-update-reveals-its-Redmi-K70.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco F6 Pro Public Update Reveals its Redmi K70" class="wp-image-624299" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-update-reveals-its-Redmi-K70.jpg 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-update-reveals-its-Redmi-K70-279x300.jpg 279w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Poco-F6-Pro-update-reveals-its-Redmi-K70-391x420.jpg 391w" sizes="(max-width: 558px) 100vw, 558px" /></figure></div>

<p>If the connection holds true, the Poco F6 Pro will pack some impressive specs. The phone is expected to feature a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It made its appearance on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/03/poco-f6-pro-spotted-on-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Geekbench</a> with the same SoC and 16GB of RAM. </p>

<p>Rebranding Redmi phones isn&#8217;t a new strategy for Poco. It recently launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x6-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco X6 Pro</a>, which borrowed heavily from the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70e/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70E</a>. However, the X6 Pro made some compromises, including a smaller battery and slower charging compared to the K70E.</p>

<p>Fortunately, it seems the Poco F6 Pro won&#8217;t face similar limitations. The leaked information suggests the phone will sport a large 6.67-inch OLED display with a sharp QHD+ resolution.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On the back, we can expect a camera system headlined by a 50MP main sensor. And for quick charging, the phone is rumored to support up to 120W fast charging.</p>

<p>A leak earlier this week revealed that<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/07/poco-f6-pro-launch-timeline-tipped/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Poco might launch the F6 Pro</a> smartphone globally in June. So there’s still some time left for the phone to make it into the mass market. We&#8217;ll make sure to keep you informed about any new details that emerge regarding the device.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a> is preparing to launch a new smartphone in the global market called the Poco F6 Pro. Leaks so far have revealed that this device is most likely a rebrand of the Redmi K70. Ahead of any official announcements by the brand, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has hinted at the launch timeline of the Poco F6 Pro.</p>

<p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Possible release dates?</p>&mdash; Cyrus5550 (@cyrus5550) <a href="https://twitter.com/cyrus5550/status/1787356627525611609?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">May 6, 2024</a></blockquote><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>

<p>Sudhanshu&#8217;s tweet suggests that the Poco F6 Pro is set to be unveiled in June. Following the usual trend of Poco F series releases, it&#8217;s likely that the F6 Pro will first launch in India before making its way to other global markets.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038.png?x44794" alt="Redmi K70" class="wp-image-586955" width="579" height="541" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038.png 697w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038-300x281.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038-449x420.png 449w" sizes="(max-width: 579px) 100vw, 579px" /><figcaption>Redmi K70</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The device was recently spotted on Geekbench featuring a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/03/poco-f6-pro-spotted-on-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 16GB RAM</a>. Assuming that the device is indeed a rebranded version of the Redmi K70, we can expect it to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could feature a large 5,000mAh battery pack, paired with 120W fast charging.</p>

<p>For optics, we expect the device to come with a 50MP OIS primary camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, it could feature a 16MP selfie snapper. There is also a chance that the brand could decide to tweak some of these specifications before launching the device globally, so we suggest our readers take these specifications with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for more.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/?s=poco">POCO</a>’s F6 series is expected to comprise standard and pro variants. After the POCO F6’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/04/30/global-poco-f6s-geekbench-listing/">appearance on Geekbench</a> recently, the more premium F6 Pro’s global variant has also been spotted on the benchmarking platform. The upcoming offering has already passed FCC and NBTC certifications in the past. Read on to know what the Geekbench database reveals. </p>

<h2>POCO F6 Pro spotted on Geekbench</h2>

<p>The POCO F6 Pro is listed on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with model number 23113RKC6G. It mentions a motherboard codenamed ‘kalama’ and the configuration comprises of three cores at 2.02GHz, four cores clocked at 2.80GHz, and a prime core ticking at 3.19GHz. This suggests that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. As per the benchmark database, the POCO F6 Pro will pack a huge 16GB RAM  and we can expect more options at launch. The smartphone will ship with pre-installed Android 14 OS out of the box. </p>

<p>In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the POCO F6 Pro scores 1,421 and 5,166 points respectively. The benchmark database does not reveal any additional details.&nbsp;</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/04/15/poco-f6-pro-spotted-on-fcc/">As per FCC</a>, the POCO F6 Pro will be backed by a 4,880mAh battery unit. The Android 14 OS will be layered with HyperOS skin on the top. The model numbers of the F6 Pro suggest that it could be a rebranded Redmi K70 from China since they match except for the last initial which is ‘G’ and ‘C’ referring to global and China respectively. The Redmi K70 has a 120Hz 2K OLED display with 4,000 nits peak brightness, a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and a 50MP triple rear camera setup.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO </a>F series smartphone is expected to launch soon. The device in question is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco-f6-pro/">POCO F6 Pro</a>, which recently surfaced in a major certification platform, and revealed some details regarding the upcoming device. So here&#8217;s everything you need to know about the POCO F6 Pro.</p>

<h2>POCO F6 Pro visits FCC</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC.webp?x44794" alt="POCO F6 Pro" class="wp-image-618815" width="490" height="574" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC.webp 636w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-256x300.webp 256w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-359x420.webp 359w" sizes="(max-width: 490px) 100vw, 490px" /></figure></div>

<p>Just recently, the POCO F6 Pro was spotted on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/03/08/poco-f6-pro-spotted-on-nbtc-certification-launch-may-be-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NBTC platform</a>, carrying the 23113RKC6G model number. Now, the same smartphone has surfaced on the FCC certification as well. The latest sighting revealed that the device will run on the Android 14 OS based HyperOS 1.0 custom skin out of the box. This listing also confirmed that the POCO F6 Pro will be powered by a 4,880mAh battery pack, which will likely be rated as 5,000mAh. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-2.webp?x44794" alt="POCO F6 Pro" class="wp-image-618816" width="515" height="451" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-2.webp 837w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-2-300x263.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-2-768x673.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-2-696x610.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/POCO-F6-Pro-FCC-2-480x420.webp 480w" sizes="(max-width: 515px) 100vw, 515px" /></figure></div>

<p>The certification confirmed that the device will support 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi networks as well. Interestingly, the 23113RKC6G model number appears to be quite similar to the 23113RKC6C model number of the Redmi K70. To recall, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/29/redmi-k70-k70-pro-debut-in-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70 was announced</a> in China back in November 2023. This means that the POCO F6 Pro is basically a rebranded Redmi K70 for the global market. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the POCO F6 Pro like its specs and features are still at large. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038.png?x44794" alt="Redmi K70" class="wp-image-586955" width="628" height="587" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038.png 697w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038-300x281.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Screenshot-2023-11-30-150038-449x420.png 449w" sizes="(max-width: 628px) 100vw, 628px" /></figure></div>

<p>But since it might be rebadged Redmi K70, we can expect it to sport a 120Hz OLED display with 2K resolution, 4000 nits of peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. Under the hood, it may be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that is paired with up to 16GB of RAM. A large 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which arrives with a Surge G1 battery management chipset and supports 120W wired fast charging. For photography, it packs a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the rear, while the front houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/poco/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco</a> is building momentum in 2024 with the recent release of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x6/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco X6 </a>and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-x6-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">X6 Pro</a> smartphones. Now, signs point towards an upcoming addition to the company&#8217;s lineup with the Poco F6 series.</p>

<p>The Poco F6 Pro, with model number 23113RKC6G, has been certified by Thailand&#8217;s NBTC (National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission). This certification typically indicates an approaching launch date.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="530" height="628" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Poco-X6-Pro-NBTC-Certification.jpg?x44794" alt="Poco F6 Pro NBTC Certification" class="wp-image-609942" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Poco-X6-Pro-NBTC-Certification.jpg 530w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Poco-X6-Pro-NBTC-Certification-253x300.jpg 253w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Poco-X6-Pro-NBTC-Certification-354x420.jpg 354w" sizes="(max-width: 530px) 100vw, 530px" /></figure></div>

<p>So when might it hit the market? Well, considering that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Poco F5 </a>smartphone was released last May, we can expect a similar timeframe for the F6 Pro. Moreover, devices that receive NBTC certification typically hit the shelves within 1-2 months.</p>

<p>For instance, both the Poco X6 Pro and X6 received NBTC certification in November and December respectively, and were officially launched in January. Following this pattern, it&#8217;s reasonable to expect the Poco F6 Pro to make its debut in April or May of 2024.</p>

<h2><strong>Poco F6 Pro Specifications (Rumored)</strong></h2>

<p>Interestingly, speculation suggests the Poco F6 Pro might be a rebranded Chinese <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k70/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K70</a>. That is because the K70’s model number — 23113RKC6C — is very similar to the F6 Pro. </p>

<p>If the rebranding theory holds true, the Poco F6 Pro will have a 6.65-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, coupled with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Redmi-K70-Featured-A-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>Camera-wise, we might see a triple camera setup on the rear headlined by a 50MP main sensor with OIS. It will likely be joined by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. Keeping the phone running will be a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. </p>

<p>In the coming months, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi</a> is gearing up to launch the Redmi 70 series smartphones in its domestic market. Some of these devices are expected to debut as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/poco" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">POCO</a> smartphones in markets outside of China. We have already seen the Poco F6 5G, which is expected to be a rebrand of the Redmi K70e be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/22/poco-f6-5g-could-be-rebranded-redmi-k70e-imda-certification-hints-global-launch-imminent/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">certified</a> on the IMDA database. Now, the Poco F6 Pro has also emerged on the IMDA certification database.</p>

<p>TheTechoutlook has uncovered the alleged POCO F6 Pro on IMDA certification with model number 23113RKC6G. This model number matches an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/30/redmi-k70-k70e-k70-pro-model-numbers-revealed-poco-f6-f6-pro-in-works/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">earlier leak</a> claiming that it belongs to the POCO F6 Pro global model. Although the listing does not reveal any specification details, it does confirm that the phone will be launched in Singapore.</p>

<h2>Poco F6 Pro/Redmi K70 expected specs:</h2>

<p>Expected features for the Redmi K70 include a Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The device could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with Adreno GPU, running on MIUI 14 based on Android 14 straight out of the box. Notably, there&#8217;s a buzz about potential 90W fast charging support.</p>

<p>The Xiaomi 14 series is rumored to launch in November. The company’s next-gen flagship smartphones are expected to be the first devices to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.</p>

<p>These phones will be accompanied by other products. One of them will likely be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MIUI-15/">MIUI 15</a>, the next iteration of Xiaomi’s mobile software based on Android.</p>

<p>We have been hearing about it for months, just like the phones. The latest findings reveal that the software has hit the stable channel for internal tests.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-503862" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-2048x1152.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Xiaomi-13-Pro-Unboxed-13-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 13 Pro</figcaption></figure>

<p>According to <a href="https://xiaomiui.net/first-miui-15-stable-builds-spotted-on-xiaomi-server-51397/"><em>Xiaomiui</em></a>, MIUI 15 stable builds are ready for internal test purposes. The publication has spotted builds for several unreleased devices.</p>

<p>Some of these builds are also live in multiple regional flavors, such as ‘Globa’l, ‘EEA’, and&nbsp; ‘India’, in addition to ‘China.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Currently, MIUI 15 stable is ready for five products. Xiaomiui suggests their names to be following based on build numbers.</p>

<ul><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi-14/">Xiaomi 14</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Xiaomi-14-Pro/">Xiaomi 14 Pro</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi-K70/">Redmi K70</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi-K70-Pro/">Redmi K70 Pro</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi-K70E/">Redmi K70E</a></li></ul>

<p>Two of the aforementioned Redmi K70 models <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/30/redmi-k70-k70e-k70-pro-model-numbers-revealed-poco-f6-f6-pro-in-works/">are expected</a> to be released as Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro in international markets. Thus, the MIUI 15 stable builds for these handsets are live for China, Global, EEA, and India. While the Xiaomi 14 series builds are only ready for EEA and China.</p>

<p>These findings don’t reveal any features of the software. But they confirm the imminent release of MIUI 15.</p>

<p><strong>Original story continues&#8230;</strong></p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> is expected to announce the Redmi K60 Ultra in July or August this year in China. In all likelihood, it will be the last K60-series phone from the brand. By the end of the year, the company is likely to announce the K70 series of smartphones in the home market. The model numbers of the upcoming Redmi K70e, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro have surfaced. It appears that the K70 and the K70 Pro will be rebranded as the Poco F6 and the Poco F6 Pro in the global market.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K70e, K70, K70 Pro model numbers</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-1024x536.png?x44794" alt="Redmi K60 Pro" class="wp-image-548038" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-1024x536.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-300x157.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-768x402.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-696x364.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-1068x559.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-803x420.png 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Redmi-K60-Pro-1.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K60 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to a report by <em>Xiaomiui, </em>the model numbers of the Redmi K70 series of smartphones have surfaced in the IMEI database. It is speculated that model numbers 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C belong to the upcoming Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro, respectively.</p>

<p>The &#8220;2311&#8221; in the model numbers suggests that these may debut in the Chinese market by November. There is a possibility that just as the K60 series went official in December, the K70 lineup may break cover in December.</p>

<h3><strong>Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The report further revealed that the Poco F6 has the model numbers 2311DRK48G (global) and 2311DRK48I (India), according to the IMEI database listing. On the other hand, the Poco F6 Pro, has the model numbers 23113RKC6G (global) and 23113RKC6I (India).</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> and<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-3"> Snapdragon 8 Gen 3</a> are most likely to power the Redmi K70 and<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/18/redmi-k70-series-to-have-snapdragon-8-gen-3-phone/"> K70 Pro</a>, respectively. The K70 series is expected to come with a leather-textured rear panel and telephoto cameras. Both models are expected to be released as the Poco F6 and F6 Pro in the global market and India. The report also claims that the F6 series will debut in the first quarter of 2024.</p>
