Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G have been launched in India. They arrive as the successors to the last year’s Galaxy A13 and A22 respectively. The latest offerings have already debuted in the global markets. The Indian variants come with the same specifications. Read on to know what the devices offer out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G come with a 6.6-inch display bearing a waterdrop notch and a thick chin. The former packs an HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate whereas the latter offers an FHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The Galaxy A24 5G sports a rectangular camera module whereas the A14 5G lacks it.

On the optics front, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G features a triple rear camera setup of a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP depth, and 2MP depth unit. The A23 5G has the same camera setup alongside a 5MP ultra-wide-angle unit. There is also OIS for shake-free videos on the A23 5G.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A14 5G houses an Exynos 1330 processor whereas the Galaxy A23 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 SoC. Both devices pack up to 8GB RAM along with a virtual RAM feature. The A14 5G and A23 5G are offered in up to 128GB storage options. Both smartphones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery unit with the A23 5G supporting 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G starts at Rs 16,499 for the base 4GB + 64GB option. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations cost Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively. The Galaxy A23 5G carries a price tag of Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999 respectively for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB options. The Galaxy A14 5G comes in Dark Red, Light Green, and Black colours whereas the A23 5G is offered in Silver, Orange, and Light Blue paint jobs. SBI, IDFC and Zest Money users can avail Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,500 cashback on the purchase of the A23 5G and A14 5G respectively. Both smartphones can be purchased from online and offline stores across the country starting January 20th.

Now, the variants and pricing details of the upcoming Galaxy A23 5G has surfaced online. The information has been shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav. As per Yadav, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will be available in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations. The former will cost Rs 23,999 whereas the latter will carry a price tag of Rs 25,999. We can expect various launch offers that could bring down the purchase price of the smartphone. If the upcoming offering falls under the sub-Rs 25,000 price bracket, it will compete against the likes of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and more in the market.

Samsung has a mid-range smartphone lineup in the form of the Galaxy A-series, and there are already a few 5G smartphones from the lineup available in India. Now, two more 5G smartphones under the Galaxy A-series are coming to the Indian market.

The South Korean giant has teased that two new 5G smartphones in the “A series” will go official in the Indian market on 18th January. The teaser says, “Being awesome is one thing, but amping up your awesome is a whole new world.”

We recently reported that the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smartphone would be launched in India on 18th January, and now the Galaxy A23 5G is all set to launch on the same date in India.

While the company has not officially revealed the names of the devices that are launching in India in a couple of weeks, the source on the teaser page has revealed the names of both smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy A23 5G smartphone was introduced in August last year, featuring a 6.6-inch 120Hz Full HD+ display. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, coupled with Adreno 619L GPU.

The device packs up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there’s a 50MP primary camera sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front side, it features an 8MP snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The phone runs the Android 13 operating system with the One UI 5 custom interface on top. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.

Now, the budget smartphone Samsung Galaxy A23 5G is available for purchase in the United States, and the company has set the recommended price at $299.99.

Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy A23 5G features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with an Infinity-V notch, 2400 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy A23 5G for the global market. The device is set to debut in Taiwan on September 16, but availability for other regions is still under wraps. Now, reliable tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has leaked the European pricing of the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G ahead of the official reveal.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy A23 5G will have a starting price of EUR 299. This will be for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. On the other hand, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model will cost EUR 329. Other than the pricing, the tipster has also shared renders of the device, according to which, we can expect the Galaxy A23 5G to come in Blue, Black, and White color options in Europe.

The Samsung smartphone has appeared with various model numbers, suggesting that the device will come in multiple storage variants. The device has also appeared on other certification websites, including BIS India and Geekbench. The handset is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM.

Earlier this year, CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A23 5G appeared online revealing its design and dimensions. Now, the device has appeared on Geekbench’s website revealing its key specifications.

According to the listing, the smartphone has the model number “SM-A236U.” It houses an octa-core chipset with six cores clocked 1.8GHz and two performance cores clocked at 2.21GHz. The chipset comes paired with Adreno 619 making it pretty evident that it is the Snapdragon 695 SoC.

Other than that, the device comes with 4GB of RAM and operates on Android 12-based One UI 4.1. Coming to the benchmark results, the device manages a score of d 674 in the single-core test and 2019 in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5.

Previously, reliable tipster OnLeaks shared the renders of the Galaxy A23 5G revealing that the smartphone will come with a waterdrop notch for the front camera along with thick bezels around the screen. On the back, it will look similar to last year’s Galaxy A32, A52, and A72 and will likely come with a quad-camera setup.

The right side of the phone will have the volume rocker and a power key, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and the bottom will house a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The device will measure around 165.4 x 77 x 8.5mm excluding the camera bump.

Samsung is all set to refresh most of its A Series lineup with a host of devices set to launch over the next couple of months. While the biggest upgrade is arguably the new 5G capabilities over last year’s models, the Galaxy A23 5G, A33 5G, A53 5G, and A73 5G are packed with other goodies as well, which have now been revealed by a tipster.

@Shadow_Leak with a couple of tweets has tipped the key specifications of the four models and they indicate notable improvements across all departments over their predecessors, be it the processor, cameras, or the display.

The priciest of the bunch — Samsung Galaxy A73 5G — has been tipped to come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, which is an upgrade over the Galaxy A72’s 90Hz panel. The processor is the Snapdragon 750G that will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. For photography, you get a 108MP+12MP+8MP+2MP quad-camera setup at the rear.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

Next up is the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G which has a 6.52-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display. It is equipped with the Exynos 1200 processor which again is backed up by a 5000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The rear camera setup comprises 64MP+12MP+5MP+5MP shooters.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and is equipped with the Dimensity 720. It got a 48MP+8MP+5MP+2MP camera setup at the rear and a 5000mAh battery inside with 15W charging support.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G has a 6.6-inch FHD+ 90Hz IPS LCD panel and is powered by the Dimensity 700 chip. You get a 50MP+8MP+2MP+2MP camera setup on the rear and the battery is sized with support for 15W charging.

While the Galaxy A73 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G will be booting into Android 12 out of the box, the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A23 5G stick with Android 11.
