Vivo has confirmed that the V70 FE will launch in India soon as the successor to the V60e. The phone has already been introduced in Indonesia, and teasers along with microsites are now live in India. The launch is expected in early April, and the device will be available through Amazon India, Flipkart, and vivo’s official retail channels.

The V70 FE stands out for its large 7,000mAh battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging. The phone also includes an under-display optical fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and an IR blaster.

It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, built on a 4nm process. On the software side, the phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. vivo says it will provide up to six years of security updates, but has not confirmed how many Android version upgrades the device will receive.

For cameras, the V70 FE uses a dual rear setup. The main camera has a 200MP sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. The rear also includes an Aura Light to improve lighting for portrait shots.

The phone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. It is a 10-bit Q10+ panel with a 1.5K resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It also supports HDR10+ playback.

The device comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. With its large battery, high-resolution main camera, and long-term security update support, the V70 FE is positioned as a feature-focused mid-range smartphone in vivo’s lineup.

Vivo is once again leaning hard into smartphone photography, and its upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra looks like it’s going all in on camera hardware. At a recent imaging-focused event, the company shared detailed specs that make it clear this phone is being positioned less like a typical flagship and more like a compact camera alternative.

The announcement came during Vivo’s Blueprint Imaging Technology Communication Conference, where the brand outlined a new camera system developed in collaboration with Zeiss. The setup follows what Vivo calls a “3+2” configuration, essentially three main sensors backed by additional optical elements and processing tweaks.

The ultra-wide camera uses a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYTIA 818 sensor. That’s unusually large for an ultra-wide, and Vivo is pairing it with its latest VCS bionic spectrum tech and Zeiss T* coating. The company claims improved light capture and CIPA 6.0 level stabilization, which could make wide shots more usable in low light than usual.

The main camera is where things get even more ambitious. Vivo is using the Sony LYTIA 901, a 200MP sensor that hasn’t been seen in a phone before. It’s paired with a new lens setup designed to reduce reflections and improve light intake, along with updates to noise reduction and HDR processing.

Then there’s the telephoto system, which might be the headline feature. Vivo is going with a 200MP periscope camera based on Samsung’s HP0 sensor, along with a CIPA 7.0 rating, which the company describes as gimbal-level stabilization. There are also new G2 teleconverter options, offering extended focal lengths up to 400mm, which is getting into serious zoom territory for a phone.

To further support its productivity angle, Vivo is bundling PC-grade WPS Office and CapCut Professional Edition with the device. These additions make it clear that the tablet is not just for media consumption but also for tasks like document editing, video editing, and general work use.

Vivo Pad 6 Pro Specifications (Expected)

As for other specifications, reports suggest that the tablet could feature a high refresh rate display, possibly up to 144Hz, for smoother visuals. Camera-wise, it is expected to include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Typical for tablets, which are usually meant for general video calls and document scanning and not much more. 

Moreover, the Pad 6 Pro is said to carry roughly a 13,000mAh cell, up from 12,050mAh in the previous model. It will support either 80W or 90W of charging.

Vivo is likely to reveal more about the device in the lead-up to launch. As for global availability, there’s no word yet. But since Vivo showed off the device in MWC, we can expect a global announcement soon.

In hindsight, the 500 yuan to 700 yuan price increase over the Xiaomi 15 Ultra now seems relatively minor, especially as upcoming ultra-flagships like the Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo Find X9 Ultra are expected to launch at noticeably higher prices due to rising storage costs.

To recall, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been available in China in three versions, such as 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. These variants are priced at 6,999 Yuan (~$1,020), 7,499 Yuan (~$1,080), and 8,499 Yuan (~$1,235), respectively.

With the Vivo X300 Ultra expected to cost 500 yuan more than the 17 Ultra, it is likely that its 12GB+512GB version could be priced at around 7,500 Yuan (~$1,090).

As can be seen above, the Vivo X300 Ultra image circulating on Weibo reveals several key details about its specifications. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The chip is accompanied by 16GB of RAM, 16GB of virtual RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. The screenshot also mentions the inclusion of Vivo’s VS1 and V3+ chips. The VS1 reportedly handles image pre-processing (before ISP), while the V3+ takes care of post-processing (after capture) to enhance final photo and video output.

Coming to the elephant in the room, the Vivo X300 Ultra does not pack a 7,000mAh battery as rumors claimed. Instead, it features a 6,600mAh unit, which is still larger than the 6,510mAh battery that powers the existing Vivo X300 Pro. Therefore, the X300 Ultra’s battery is expected to last more than a day with normal usage. Vivo showed off the first images of the X300 Ultra earlier this week in an official teaser, revealing the phone in a new “Film Green” color. Now the device has surfaced in real-life photos in a beige shade, showing it from nearly every angle.

As you can see, the X300 Ultra features a massive camera module on the back with Zeiss branding. It’s particularly noticeable in the side-angle shot (the second image), which also shows the power and volume buttons. This beige variant also appears to have patterns on the rear panel.

The frame looks to be made of metal, while the bottom houses the usual hardware: microphones, a USB-C port, a speaker grille, and a SIM tray.

More interestingly, one of the leaked photos shows the settings page with key specs for the X300 Ultra. According to the image, the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also includes Vivo’s in-house VS1 and V3+ dual imaging chips.

The device also packs a 6,600mAh battery.

Both models feature a new “Film Green” color finish that blends classic photography aesthetics with a modern smartphone design. The company suggests the color and styling aim to deliver a mix of retro and contemporary visual appeal.

Both devices also support a long-range telephoto extender kit. Vivo is expanding its budget 5G lineup in India once again, this time with the new T5x 5G. It follows last year’s T4x 5G, but on paper at least, this looks like a fairly meaningful upgrade.

Up front, the phone gets a 6.76-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s a flat panel with a punch-hole cutout, and while it’s not AMOLED, it should still be more than fine for basic tasks like texting, scrolling through social media, and watching videos on YouTube.

The bigger change is under the hood. Vivo has moved to the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo, replacing the Dimensity 7300. The company claims it can cross the 1 million mark on AnTuTu, which, if it holds up in real use, should translate to smoother multitasking and slightly better gaming performance. It runs Android 16 with Origin OS 6.0, and Vivo is promising 2 years of OS updates along with 4 years of security patches.

Battery is clearly one of the main highlights here. The T5x packs a 7200mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. On top of that, the phone is IP68 and IP69 dust and water-resistant. It seems durability is a bigger focus of this phone.

On the camera side, things are more straightforward. There’s a 50MP Sony main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front gets an 8MP selfie camera. Nothing too ambitious, but likely good enough for daylight shots and video calls.

One of the most notable additions is support for full focal length 4K 120fps 10bit Log recording. The previous generation delivered full focal length 4K 60fps Log video, but the X300 Ultra doubles the frame rate to 120fps. This improvement is expected to provide smoother footage and greater flexibility during editing. Importantly, all three rear cameras are said to support the same recording specifications, which removes limitations across focal lengths and ensures consistent output regardless of the lens used.

The phone is also said to introduce a more advanced Professional Video Mode with a redesigned interface. The recording screen reportedly presents shooting information more clearly while allowing creators to adjust a wide range of parameters. Another notable feature is the ability to preview 3D LUT colour profiles while recording Log footage. This allows creators to evaluate colours and tone in real time instead of waiting until the editing stage.

For post-production workflows, the device is claimed to support APV 422 professional video encoding. This format allows for a wider colour range and greater editing flexibility. Exact differences between the two chips are still unclear for now, but the Pro version would likely offer stronger CPU and GPU performance, along with improvements in AI processing or power efficiency.

A split-chip strategy like this would also fit into a broader trend that’s starting to appear in the smartphone industry. Qualcomm, for example, is rumored to be working on a similar idea with its upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 platform.

Vivo has launched the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G in India as the successor to last year’s Y31 Pro. The phone brings several upgrades, including a larger display, a new MediaTek processor, improved durability, and a much bigger battery.

The device features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 1250 nits peak brightness. The display also carries TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and is designed to reduce flicker during long usage sessions.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo 4nm processor with clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz. It replaces the Dimensity 7300 used in the previous model. Vivo’s upcoming X300 Ultra is starting to appear more frequently in leaks and teasers, and the company is once again putting a strong focus on camera hardware. In the latest teaser, Vivo executive Han Bo Xiao shared early camera samples on Weibo.

The posts highlight the phone’s primary and telephoto camera, which uses the 200MP Sony LYT-901 and 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HPO sensor, respectively. Unlike many smartphones that stick closer to a 23–24mm focal length for the main camera, this one uses a 35mm equivalent lens for the main camera. The camera is tuned in collaboration with Zeiss, something Vivo has relied on heavily in its flagship models.

The sensor is reportedly capable of capturing about 30 percent more light per pixel compared to previous generations. Some of the shared images show strong details and fairly natural colors. The size of the main sensor is also quite large at 1/1.12 inches, which should help with low-light photography.

Vivo is also said to support external teleconverter accessories, allowing focal lengths around 200mm or 400mm. In one of the examples shared online, zoom levels equivalent to roughly 1600mm have been demonstrated, though that clearly involved heavy digital cropping.

Beyond cameras, the phone has also surfaced on Geekbench under model number V2562. The listing points to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, along with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. The benchmark scores themselves look fairly average, but that’s not unusual for early tests on a camera-focused device.

Vivo hasn’t confirmed an exact launch date. However, a well-known Weibo tipster, Bald Panda, claims the X300 Ultra could arrive in China before the end of March 2026. Some speculation points to March 30 as a possible launch day.

One of the biggest talking points is the battery. The T5x 5G is widely expected to pack a 7,200mAh battery, which the brand is marketing as the “Segment’s Biggest Battery.” The company is using silicon-carbon battery technology to help increase capacity without making the phone excessively bulky.

Charging support is rated at 44W wired fast charging. The phone is also expected to support reverse wired charging, along with bypass charging for situations like gaming.

Inside, the device will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor. The chipset has managed to cross the one-million mark on AnTuTu, which would put it comfortably in the upper tier of performance for this segment. On paper at least, it should handle multitasking and casual gaming without much difficulty. Durability is another area Vivo is highlighting. The phone is said to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Camera hardware looks fairly straightforward. The rear setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor, which supports 4K video recording. On the front, the phone is expected to feature a 32MP selfie camera, which, if true, would be another notable upgrade over the 8MP selfie of the Vivo T4x.

Software will be based on Android 16, paired with OriginOS 6. The device is expected to receive two major Android updates along with four years of security patches.

As for pricing, Vivo hasn’t revealed anything yet. But early hints suggest the T5x 5G could launch under Rs 23,000. Once announced, it will be available through Flipkart, Vivo’s official online store, and retail outlets across India.

Realme Narzo Power – 10,001mAh

Launched earlier this month, the Realme Narzo Power stands out as the phone with the largest battery in this list. It houses an enormous 10,001mAh battery, which is far larger than the capacity typically seen in mainstream smartphones. The device also features 80W wired charging, allowing the massive battery to refill relatively quickly.

In addition to battery endurance, the Narzo Power offers competitive hardware for its segment. It features a 144Hz curved-edge AMOLED display, the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, and a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. The Poco X8 Pro Max is scheduled to launch globally on March 17. It is expected to become the largest battery phone from Poco so far. Reports suggest that the Indian variant may include a 9,000mAh battery, while the global model could feature a slightly smaller 8,550mAh unit.

The device is believed to be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which also packs a 9,000mAh battery. If the specifications remain similar, the X8 Pro Max could offer a strong combination of performance and endurance in the upper mid-range segment.

Poco X8 Pro – 7,560mAh

Vivo has introduced the Vivo V70 FE in Indonesia, adding a new mid-range smartphone focused on camera performance and battery life. The device combines a high-resolution main camera with a large battery and several durability features.

Vivo has revealed two new ZEISS telephoto extender lenses for the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra, aimed at pushing smartphone photography further into long-range shooting. The 400mm teleconverter was earlier showcased at MWC 2026, and now the company’s product manager Han Boxiao has also confirmed details about a 200mm variant. These accessories are designed to significantly extend zoom capabilities while maintaining strong image clarity.

Vivo X300 Ultra to support 200mm and 400mm telephoto extender lenses

The first accessory is a 400mm telephoto extender G2 Ultra, which is designed for creators in mind. According to Boxiao, the lens delivers an equivalent 400mm focal length, which currently represents one of the highest magnification levels seen in smartphone add-on optics. When paired with Vivo X300 Ultra’s 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, the system can produce direct optical images at extremely long focal lengths. Using a 23mm equivalent focal length as the baseline 1x zoom, the setup effectively reaches about 17.4x pure optical zoom with the 200-megapixel sensor.

Vivo also claims that the telephoto camera now supports improved optical stabilization, including around 3° optical stabilization along with a new high-refresh tracking system capable of maintaining focus at up to 60fps. Even after attaching the extender lens, the setup reportedly maintains CIPA 4.5-level stabilisation. The company suggests that this allows users to capture usable shots even at focal lengths as extreme as 1600mm, making distant subjects such as wildlife or stage performances easier to photograph.

A lighter 200mm extender designed for portability

Alongside the larger accessory, Vivo has also introduced a redesigned second-generation 200mm extender lens G2. This version is intended to be lighter and easier to carry. The company states that its weight has been reduced by 27 percent, bringing it down to around 153 grams while also shrinking the overall size.

Despite the smaller body, the optical design has been upgraded. The lens now includes 15 elements instead of the earlier 13, which is expected to improve image clarity while maintaining strong stabilization rated at CIPA 6.5. Vivo says the compact design makes it practical for everyday shooting without compromising telephoto performance.

These accessories are part of Vivo’s broader ZEISS camera ecosystem built around multiple focal lengths. The system covers lenses ranging from ultra-wide 14mm to standard 35mm and portrait-friendly 85mm, along with the longer 200mm and 400mm options. The above image also shows a 2.35x ZEISS telephoto extender, which works with existing X300 models. Likely, it will also be supported by the X300 Ultra.

Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X300 Ultra later this month, and speculation suggests the brand may also introduce the Vivo X300 Max alongside it. The X300 Max was reportedly displayed in a confidential case at MWC 2026 recently. Today, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao confirmed that there is no Vivo X300 Max. Instead, this device will debut with the Vivo X300s branding. He also confirmed several details about the device.

Vivo X300s moniker confirmed

According to Boxiao, the company had internally discussed naming the device the Vivo X300 Max due to the scale of its upgrades. However, Vivo eventually chose to keep the “s” naming convention, similar to the previous X-series refresh.

The Vivo X300s is aimed at users who want a large-screen flagship without compromising on imaging. While many recent imaging-focused models have shifted to compact displays, this device combines a bigger screen with strong camera capabilities.

The “s” reportedly stands for “SuperMax,” highlighting improvements across multiple areas, particularly performance. Vivo also suggests that the X300s will sit alongside the X300 Ultra, offering a balance between powerful photography and flagship hardware.

Boxiao revealed that the Vivo X300s will have a 6.78-inch BOE Q10 Plus panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. This would make it the first device in the X series to support such a high refresh rate, and it is also said to support native 144FPS gameplay in certain MOBA titles. The display will support Zeiss color tuning and circular polarization technology designed to improve eye comfort.

Audio performance is also set to improve with the inclusion of symmetric 1115 dual speakers similar to those found on the iQOO 15. The system includes upgraded amplifiers and algorithms to deliver a wider sound field. Vivo claims that gaming audio cues such as footsteps and gunfire can become significantly clearer, helping players identify positions more easily.

The phone will also include a large customized 4D vibration motor designed to deliver stronger and more detailed haptic feedback. The motor is said to support enhanced vibration effects in more than ten popular mobile games, allowing users to experience stronger tactile responses during gameplay. He added that this will be the largest and most powerful vibration motor ever included in an X-series device.

Boxiao has also confirmed that the device will be equipped with a Zeiss 200-megapixel image sensor. However, he did not reveal any other camera-related information.

Previous reports have revealed that the X300s will feature a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera in its triple camera setup. It will have a Dimensity 9500 chip and a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity. It may offer 90W wired and 40W wireless charging and run on OriginOS 6-based Android 16. It is also said to have an IP68/69-rated dust- and water-resistant chassis.

In his latest update, Boxiao has now shared new information about the device’s ultra-wide camera, while also teasing the presence of another unusual sensor hidden within the camera module.

Vivo X300 Ultra’s ultra-wide camera details revealed

According to Boxiao, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera built around the Sony LYTIA-818 sensor. The lens is expected to offer a 14mm focal length, making it suitable for landscapes and wide scenes. With a 1/1.28-inch sensor size, Vivo claims this will be among the largest sensors used for an ultra-wide camera in a smartphone.

The larger sensor is also expected to improve video recording. Boxiao explained that ultra-wide cameras are often important for video capture because they help deliver stable footage. On the X300 Ultra, stabilization is said to improve from the previous generation’s CIPA 5.0 rating to CIPA 6.0. The bigger sensor can also help gather more light, which may improve low-light video quality.

The above image hides another camera sensor under the sunglasses emoji. Compact flagship phones have become a small but steady category in the smartphone market. Not everyone wants a 6.7-inch screen and a device that stretches pockets. That’s why we have phones like the Vivo X300 FE and the Apple iPhone 17 that offer high-end hardware while keeping the overall footprint relatively manageable.

On paper, both devices sit in a similar size class, both use 3nm chipsets, and both bring 120Hz OLED displays. And they are even priced similarly, just below $800. But if you look closely, they take noticeably different approaches to things like cameras, battery life, software, and even basic hardware priorities.

Here’s how these two phones compare.

Size and design

At first glance, the Vivo X300 FE and iPhone 17 look like they belong to the same category. The Vivo measures 150.8 × 71.8 × 8 mm, while the iPhone 17 comes in slightly smaller at 149.6 × 71.5 × 8 mm.

However, the two phones have notable differences in weight. The Vivo X300 FE weighs 191 grams, while the iPhone 17 is lighter at 177 grams. That 14-gram difference can make the iPhone feel a bit easier to hold over long periods.

Both phones use glass on the front and back with aluminum frames. Apple uses its Ceramic Shield 2 protection on the front glass, while Vivo sticks with a standard glass front.

Both support 120Hz refresh rates, which is notable since Apple only recently began bringing ProMotion-style refresh rates to its non-Pro lineup. Where they diverge is in brightness and display features.

The Vivo X300 FE claims up to 5000 nits peak brightness, while the iPhone 17 lists 1000 nits typical brightness, 1600 nits high-brightness mode, and up to 3000 nits peak. Apple also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, along with an anti-reflective coating.

Historically, Apple’s A-series chips have focused on strong single-core performance and tight software optimization. Qualcomm’s latest flagship processors usually emphasize multi-core performance and GPU improvements for gaming.

Memory configurations include 12GB of RAM on the X300 FE, while the iPhone 17 features 8GB of RAM. Both are paired with either 256GB or 512GB storage.

Of course, raw specs rarely tell the whole story. Apple’s control over both hardware and software means the iPhone often performs smoothly even with less RAM. Meanwhile, Android flagships typically rely on larger memory pools to manage multitasking.

Software

As always, the biggest talk comes down to the software. The Vivo X300 FE runs Android 16 with Vivo’s OriginOS 6 interface on top. The company promises up to five major Android upgrades, which is a relatively long support window in the Android ecosystem.

The iPhone 17 runs iOS 26, with updates expected for many years beyond its launch. Apple’s software experience tends to emphasize consistency and ecosystem integration. Android phones, including Vivo’s, offer more customization and flexibility.

For users, the choice between the two phones will come down almost entirely to whether they prefer iOS or Android.

Cameras

The Vivo X300 FE wins in terms of optics with its triple-camera system. It has a:

• 50MP main camera
• 50MP periscope telephoto with 3× optical zoom
• 8MP ultrawide camera

The inclusion of a periscope lens means the X300 FE can offer true optical zoom beyond the main camera.

On the other hand, the iPhone 17 has a dual rear-camera setup:

• 48MP main camera
• 48MP ultrawide camera

Apple doesn’t include a dedicated telephoto camera on the base iPhone 17, which means zoom photography will likely rely more on digital cropping.

However, the iPhone supports Dolby Vision HDR recording and multiple frame-rate options up to 4K at 60fps. Vivo supports 4K recording as well, but Apple typically focuses more heavily on video features. 

For selfies, Vivo includes a 50MP front camera, while the iPhone 17 has an 18MP ultrawide camera paired with a 3D depth sensor used for Face ID.

Battery and charging

Vivo wins in hardware in this department, too. It has a 6500mAh battery, significantly larger than the 3692mAh battery inside the iPhone 17. The former charges at 90W wired, 40W wireless speed, and also supports wireless charging. 

Apple’s charging system is slower by comparison. The iPhone 17 supports wired charging capable of reaching 50 percent in around 20 minutes and 25W wireless charging through MagSafe or Qi2.

Connectivity and extra features

Both phones support modern connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a wide range of global navigation systems. The Vivo X300 FE also includes an infrared port. 

On Apple’s behalf, the iPhone 17 includes Ultra Wideband support, satellite communication for emergency services, and deeper integration with Apple services like Find My. 

For biometrics, Vivo uses an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display, while Apple relies on Face ID with its front-facing 3D sensor system.

Two different interpretations of a flagship

The Vivo X300 FE and iPhone 17 are roughly the same size and price, but they are two very different ideas of what a compact flagship can be.

Vivo is heavy on hardware with a larger battery, more RAM, faster charging, and a dedicated telephoto camera. The iPhone focuses more on software integration, camera processing, and ecosystem features. 

Neither approach is necessarily better. It mostly depends on what someone values more in a phone.

Boxiao’s latest Weibo post reveals that the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a fifth-generation ZEISS 200-megapixel “Thanos” periscope telephoto camera based on a Samsung HP0 sensor. The camera is paired with Vivo’s BlueImage imaging technology, which brings optimisations in areas such as colour accuracy, autofocus performance, HDR processing and power efficiency.

The X300 Ultra is said to introduce a large-sensor telephoto lens with 3° optical image stabilization, marking the return of Vivo’s earlier gimbal-style stabilization concept. Traditional telephoto lenses usually offer stabilization in the range of 0.7° to 1°, while the X200 Ultra reached 1.2°. The new system reportedly increases stabilization performance by two to three times, delivering what Vivo describes as gimbal-level steadiness.

According to Boxiao, the telephoto camera achieves CIPA 7.0-level professional stabilization, a standard typically associated with dedicated cameras. This allows longer and steadier exposure times, improving light intake and making high-zoom photography easier even for casual users. The stabilization is particularly useful when shooting at long focal lengths such as 200mm, 400mm, or beyond, especially in handheld video scenarios.

By this, the Vivo X300 Ultra will debut as the world’s first flagship phone equipped with dual 200-megapixel cameras. Recent reports have revealed that the rear camera setup is also expected to include a Sony LYT-828 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel multispectral sensor for color accuracy.

While the company has been openly promoting the camera-focused X300 Ultra, visitors noticed another handset quietly displayed nearby, one that appears to be the long-rumored Vivo X300 Max.

The handset appeared alongside information referencing MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 processor, and was described simply as an existing member of the X300 series. Well-known leaker Roland Quandt quickly connected the dots. He pointed to a device labeled V258A, likely related to the previously rumored V2548A model number. That identifier recently surfaced in 3C certification documents, which also revealed support for 90W wired charging.

Images shared by Vivo executive Han Bo Xiao seem to show the same handset, strengthening the case that the device on display is indeed the Vivo X300 Max.

One of the clearest visual differences appears to be the rear camera layout. Unlike the X300 and X300 Pro, the Max features a slightly different arrangement: two lenses sit on either side of the Zeiss T* branding, while a third lens is positioned above them.

Rumors suggest the phone could feature a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1440p resolution. Perhaps even more notable is the battery capacity being discussed: a massive 7,000 mAh unit, which could translate into impressive battery life.

Vivo hasn’t formally acknowledged the X300 Max yet, but its quiet appearance at MWC hints that the company may be preparing to expand the X300 lineup sooner rather than later.

Vivo X300 Ultra main camera details confirmed

According to Han Boxiao, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a Sony LYTIA-901 sensor, which is making its debut globally on the device. The phone will adopt a 35mm main camera, a focal length often preferred for street and documentary photography. Vivo says this focal length offers a natural perspective that is well-suited for capturing people and real-world scenes with minimal distortion.

The main camera also combines a 200-megapixel sensor with a large 1/1.12-inch sensor size, which Vivo describes as a premium configuration for mobile photography. The company claims that the effective light-gathering area per pixel has increased by over 30 percent compared to the previous generation. Stabilization has also been upgraded from CIPA 5.0 to CIPA 6.5, which should help improve handheld photography and video recording, especially in low-light environments.

Vivo has also improved the lens structure. The previous generation’s 7P lens setup has been replaced by a 1G + 6P optical configuration. The system includes ALD PRO coating that reportedly reduces reflections by around 30 percent, along with additional coatings designed to minimise ghosting and improve clarity in challenging lighting conditions.

For color accuracy, the setup is also expected to feature a 5-megapixel multispectral sensor. On the front, the phone may include a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera.

At MWC 2026, Vivo also showcased a 400mm teleconverter kit capable of delivering 17x optical zoom. The X300 Ultra paired with this accessory is aimed at professional creators. A recent leak has also suggested that Vivo is preparing another teleconverter kit designed for everyday photography enthusiasts.

The Vivo X300 FE arrives as a compact flagship with a 6.31-inch AMOLED display that delivers a resolution of 2640 x 1216 pixels. The panel supports a 1Hz to 120Hz refresh rate and offers up to 5000nits local peak brightness. It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and is promised to receive five years of Android version upgrades along with seven years of security updates.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, offering configurations of 12GB RAM with up to 512GB storage. It houses a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging support.

For photography, the device features a triple rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 main camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens using the IMX882 sensor with 3x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. On the front, it carries a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The Vivo X300 FE is equipped with other features, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and a USB-C port. The X300 FE has a glass back and measures around 7.99mm in thickness, while weighing about 190 gram.

The Vivo X300 FE is offered in color options such as Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black. In Russia, the sole 12GB+256GB trim of the device is priced at RUB 60,124 (~$770).

At the time of writing, Vivo has not publicly revealed the official pricing for the Russian market. As expected, the X300 FE has turned out to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which debuted in China in December 2025.

Vivo’s next flagship camera phone, the Vivo X300 Ultra, has started appearing in fresh leaks revealing key details about its display, design, and imaging system. A new tip from Digital Chat Station suggests that the device could bring notable changes compared to the previous generation, particularly in display design and camera capabilities.

Vivo X300 Ultra display and design details tipped

According to the leak, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch display supplied by BOE. The panel is said to offer a 2K+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and support LTPO technology for dynamic refresh rate adjustment. The screen will reportedly adopt a flat design with regular rounded corners instead of the quad-curved panels used in earlier models.

The tipster also claims the display will have extremely narrow bezels on all four sides, creating a symmetrical look around the panel. This marks a shift away from the equal-depth curved screens that previously appeared on several flagship phones. The change could improve grip, screen protection compatibility, and overall usability.

In addition to the new display design, the Vivo X300 Ultra is said to include a slightly larger battery than the Vivo X300 Pro. However, the battery capacity is not expected to reach the 7,000mAh mark that had been rumoured earlier. Under the hood, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The Vivo V70 FE has largely been revealed ahead of its official debut, thanks to a steady stream of leaks. Now, Vivo has confirmed it’ll launch the phone in Indonesia on March 9. Joining it is the Vivo V70, which has already debuted in India.

Vivo has also started teasing key details ahead of the event. The company confirmed that the V70 FE will ship with a dual rear camera system led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. 

Teaser images also show off the phone’s slim display bezels and three color options—Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Titanium Silver.

Alongside the 200MP main sensor sits an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera for broader scenes. On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel camera designed for selfies and video calls.

The V70 FE is expected to feature a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. If you notice, the screen also has a gentle curve on the side. 

Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, built on a 4nm manufacturing process. It’s paired with multiple memory options: 8GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, 12GB with 256GB, and 8GB with 512GB.

The phone runs on OriginOS 6 out of the box. Vivo says it will support the device with up to six years of system updates and promises five years of smooth performance.

The V70 FE packs a large 7,000mAh “BlueVolt” battery, paired with 90W FlashCharge support for faster top-ups.

Rounding out the spec sheet are dual stereo speakers and IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Vivo officially unveiled the X300 Ultra at Mobile World Congress 2026, and now the company is sharing more details about the phone’s video chops. 

In a post on Weibo, Vivo product manager Han Boxiao laid out what he calls the key camera upgrades coming to the X300 Ultra. According to him, the X300 Ultra is aiming to be a “pocket camera” for creators.

Vivo X300 Ultra can record 10-bit Log from all three lenses

One of the headline features is what Vivo calls its “no secondary camera” Zeiss Master Lens Trinity. In practical terms, the company says all focal lengths — from wide to telephoto — will support 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording. The same applies to 4K 120fps Dolby Vision capture and optical image stabilization across all focal lengths.

The consistency carries over into post-production. The X300 Ultra supports APV 422 professional video encoding, which Vivo claims brings output closer to what you’d expect from a dedicated camera. 

Moreover, Log footage can load and apply 3D LUTs and custom LUTs during recording, enabling real-time color calibration on set. It’s also compatible with ACES workflows, so Log clips can drop into professional cinema pipelines without heavy conversion.

As for the audio, the X300 Ultra has a four-microphone system with six preset scenes designed to enhance target audio while reducing ambient noise. 

For more casual use, Vivo is adding two cinematic color presets: Film Style and Film Look. These are designed to deliver more polished, one-tap results without requiring manual grading. The official says that sample photos and videos in these modes will be shared later.

The device is also tipped to feature a 6.82-inch 2K BOE flat display with narrow bezels and LTPO technology. It will pack the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging support.

The X300 Pro is slightly smaller at 6.78 inches, but it fights back with sheer brightness numbers. Vivo claims it can reach up to 4,500 nits peak and also supports Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and 1 billion colors. 

You shouldn’t notice that much of a difference in daily use. But something extra on Samsung is its new Privacy Display. The latter basically reduces screen visibility from side angles, so that no one can peek at your screen and see your important information. 

What’s amazing is that Privacy Display can be controlled from settings and can even be set for specific types of apps or notifications. Vivo lacks an in-built Privacy Display option, but you can apply a privacy screen protector for a similar result. Otherwise, both phones have a good display. 

Design

The Galaxy S26 Ultra measures 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm and weighs 214 grams. It uses a glass front protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2, a Gorilla Glass Victus 2 back, and an Armor Aluminum 2 frame. It carries an IP68 rating (submersible up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes) and includes an integrated stylus.

The Vivo X300 Pro is slightly shorter and narrower at 161.2 x 75.5 x 8 mm but heavier at 226 grams. It uses Armor Glass on the front, an aluminum alloy frame, and a glass back. It carries IP68 and IP69 certification, meaning it’s rated not just for immersion but also for high-pressure water jets.

However, neither has a headphone jack. Both use a USB-C 3.2 port for charging. You can also use it as a DisplayPort output for Samsung DeX on the S26 Ultra.

SIM configurations differ by region. Samsung supports combinations of Nano-SIM and eSIM (maximum two active at a time), while Vivo offers dual Nano-SIM plus eSIM options internationally.

Performance

The S26 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm), paired with an Adreno 840 GPU. Its CPU configuration includes two high-performance Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores at 4.74 GHz and six Phoenix M cores at 3.62 GHz. Storage options include 256GB/12GB RAM, 512GB/12GB RAM, and 1TB/16GB RAM, using UFS 4.x storage.

The X300 Pro runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 (3nm) with a tri-cluster CPU design: one C1-Ultra core at 4.21 GHz, three C1-Premium cores at 3.5 GHz, and four C1-Pro cores at 2.7 GHz, paired with an Arm G1-Ultra GPU. Storage configurations include 256GB/12GB, 512GB/16GB, and 1TB/16GB with dual UFS 4.1.

Both phones are fast, and you’re unlikely to be disappointed by performance. Software makes the opinion different here. Samsung’s One UI has a clean look, and the company also offers the industry’s highest seven major Android upgrades. Vivo promises up to five major Android upgrades with OriginOS 6. 

Cameras

This is where things get interesting.

Samsung uses a quad-camera setup, including:

• 200MP main sensor
• 3x optical telephoto
• 5x periscope telephoto
• 50MP ultrawide

It supports laser autofocus, Horizon Lock, Best Face, 10-bit HDR video, HDR10+, and 8K recording at up to 30fps.

Vivo, meanwhile, goes for sensor size:

• 50MP large primary sensor
• 200MP periscope (3.7x optical)
• 50MP ultrawide

It includes Zeiss optics, Zeiss T* lens coating, a color spectrum sensor, 3D LUT import, Dolby Vision HDR recording, and 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording.

Samsung provides two dedicated telephoto focal lengths (3x and 5x). Vivo relies on a high-resolution 200MP periscope to cover multiple zoom ranges.

There’s a difference in terms of selfie camera, too. Samsung uses a 12MP front camera with dual-pixel autofocus. Meanwhile, Vivo features a 50MP autofocus front camera. Both support 4K video recording.

Battery and charging

The X300 Pro packs a massive 6,510mAh silicon-carbon battery (in most global markets) and supports 90W wired charging plus 40W wireless. Meanwhile, the S26 Ultra sticks to 5,000mAh, but increases wired charging to 60W and offers 25W wireless with Qi2 support.

Connectivity and extras

Samsung supports Wi-Fi 7 (tri-band), Bluetooth 6.0, Ultra Wideband (UWB), Samsung DeX (wired and wireless), and a barometer sensor.

Vivo supports Wi-Fi 7 (dual-band), Bluetooth 5.4 with aptX HD and LHDC 5, NavIC satellite positioning, and optional satellite connectivity. It lacks UWB but adds an infrared port.

Both use ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors and include standard flagship sensors.

So which one should you buy?

If you want the safest long-term flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is the smarter choice. It feels refined in a way that comes from Samsung doing this over and over again.

If you care most about camera detail, huge battery life, and fast charging, the Vivo X300 Pro might actually be more exciting. Both win, just in different competitions.

If you are planning to buy a Vivo or iQOO mid-range smartphone in India, prices may increase soon. According to tipster @yabhishekhd, six devices across both brands are expected to receive price hikes of up to ₹2,500. The revised prices are said to take effect from March 1.

Starting with Vivo, the Vivo T4x could see increases across all storage variants. The 6GB + 128GB model may go from ₹15,499 to ₹16,999. The 8GB + 128GB variant is expected to rise from ₹16,499 to ₹18,999. The 8GB + 256GB version could move from ₹18,499 to ₹20,999.

The Vivo T4R is also tipped for higher pricing. The 8GB + 128GB variant may increase from ₹20,999 to ₹22,999. The 8GB + 256GB model could go from ₹22,999 to ₹24,999. The 12GB + 256GB version is expected to rise from ₹24,999 to ₹26,999.

The Vivo T4 may follow the same pattern. The 8GB + 128GB variant could increase from ₹22,999 to ₹24,999. The 8GB + 256GB model may move from ₹24,999 to ₹26,999. The 12GB + 256GB version is expected to go from ₹26,999 to ₹28,999.

On the iQOO side, the iQOO Z10x may see the 6GB + 128GB variant increase from ₹14,999 to ₹16,999. The 8GB + 128GB model could rise from ₹16,499 to ₹18,999. The 8GB + 256GB version is expected to move from ₹17,999 to ₹20,499.

However, this year may be different, as reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Vivo X300 Ultra will debut before the Oppo Find X9 Ultra. Here’s a look at when these devices are expected to hit the Chinese market.

Vivo X300 Ultra, Find X9 Ultra launch time frame (rumored)

DCS revealed that the Vivo X300 Ultra will be announced in March, which could be in the second half of the month. He claims that this Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered phone will feature the world’s first 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 primary camera. It is also said to include a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens using a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB sensor, along with what is described as the strongest ultra-wide camera in the smartphone industry.

According to previous reports, this ultra-wide camera will be powered by the 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 sensor. The setup is also expected to feature a 5-megapixel multispectral lens. The X300 Ultra is also expected to debut as the world’s first flagship phone equipped with dual 200-megapixel cameras.

Oppo Find N6 and Find X9 Ultra launch timeframe (rumored)

DCS claims that March will also see the arrival of the Oppo Find N6 foldable phone. A recent report revealed that it is slated to debut on March 17. He also mentioned that the Find X9 Ultra will be announced in April.

While it is not mentioned in the leak, there is a possibility that the vivo X300 Ultra could be accompanied by the Vivo X300 Max, and the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro may debut together in April.

Interestingly, both Ultra editions are also said to be heading to the global market in the coming months. There have been reports that Vivo’s next Ultra-branded flagship—the Vivo X300 Ultra—will not be limited to the Chinese market. The global version of the Vivo X300 Ultra was spotted with model number V256 in the IMEI database in November 2025. Later, the said device was spotted on the EEC (Europe) and TKDN (Indonesia) certification platforms. These certifications only carried the model number and not its final moniker, but now a new certification has emerged revealing its model number and final marketing name together for the first time.

Vivo X300 Ultra, X300 FE SDPPI certified

As can be seen, the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE have appeared in the database of Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform. These devices have emerged with model numbers V2562 and V2537, respectively. For those unaware, while TKDN measures the percentage of local Indonesian content in a product, SDPPI certifies that a telecom or wireless device meets Indonesia’s technical and radio regulations.

The Vivo X300 FE has previously been spotted on multiple certification platforms, indicating that its launch may not be far away. While it has been approved in India among other countries, the X300 Ultra is yet to receive the country’s BIS certification.

According to reports, the Vivo X300 FE will be a rebranded version of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, which debuted in China back in December 2025. As far as the X300 Ultra is concerned, the rumor mill has already leaked several details about it.

Reports have revealed that the Vivo X300 Ultra will have a 6.82-inch flat BOE OLED display with around 2K resolution, LTPO technology, and four-sided narrow bezels. Under the hood, it will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a massive battery of around 7,000mAh.

The X300 Ultra’s rear camera setup is expected to include an OIS-enabled 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 main sensor, paired with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 ultra-wide sensor and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support. It may not feature the dedicated Action button, which was introduced on the X300 Ultra.

There’s a possibility that the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE may debut together globally in the second quarter of this year. In China, the X300 Ultra is likely to break cover in March.

A new leak suggests that Vivo could be jumping on the big-battery bandwagon with an upcoming smartphone.

According to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, Vivo is currently testing a new phone equipped with a 10,000mAh battery.

The device reportedly uses a 4.53V single-cell silicon battery with a rated capacity of 10,000mAh. The typical value, however, is said to range between 11,000mAh and 12,000mAh, plus or minus a small margin.

More and more brands are moving toward 10,000mAh

Battery capacity in smartphones has been steadily increasing over the past few years, especially among Chinese manufacturers.

5,000mAh is now the bare minimum, and devices with 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh batteries have become increasingly common in China. In fact, Honor and Realme have already launched phones with a 10,000mAh cell.

Speaking of which, the leak also sparked discussion about competitors. When asked about Xiaomi’s plans for large-battery phones, the tipster said such devices are currently in the planning stages and would include “all the necessary features.” This hints that Xiaomi is also considering similar moves, though nothing has been finalized yet.

In a separate response, the blogger addressed whether this year’s flagship phones from Vivo might reach 9,000mAh. According to DCS, the main flagship line is unlikely to hit that level, but phones from its sub-brand iQOO could feature a 9,000mAh cell.
