OnePlus officially announces the launch event for the OnePlus 12 scheduled to be held on December 5. Li Jie, the president of OnePlus in China, denotes the OnePlus 12 as the ‘flagship of the decade’. He also made a bold claim: the upcoming flagship from OnePlus will beat all other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 powered phones in the market in terms of raw power.

After the announcement of the launch event, Li Jie talked about his mixed feelings about the product. Regarding cameras, the brand has collaborated with Hasselblad, as usual. The phone houses a Sony LYT-808 image sensor inside the main camera. It also comes with a “New generation super light and shadow imaging system” implemented by Hasselblad. Li Jie further states that the company has invested quite a lot of time and effort to compete with all other flagships not just in terms of the performance but an overall user experience.
