After a series of leaks and teasers, DJI has finally launched the new Mini 4 Pro drone, expanding its Mini series with improved features and capabilities. The drone is lightweight and compact, weighing under 249 grams and exhibiting a user-friendly foldable design, removing the requirement for specialized training or exams for operation in many regions.

DJI Mini 4 Pro Key Features:

The Mini 4 Pro stands out with its impressive 48-megapixel 1/1.3-inch sensor, capable of shooting 4K60P HDR video and 4K100P slow-motion video. It offers advanced photography and video modes, including 10-bit D-Log M, HLG color options, and uncropped vertical shooting. This drone also features dual native ISO fusion and a wide f/1.7 aperture for high-quality imaging, and it provides up to 2x zoom for photos and 4x zoom for videos.

The drone introduces omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, a first for DJI‘s Mini series. It utilizes four wide-angle vision sensors and downward dual-vision sensors to detect obstacles in all directions. The Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS) allows for automatic obstacle avoidance, enabling safe and flexible navigation by stopping or bypassing obstacles.

The Mini 4 Pro offers a smart flight battery that delivers up to 34 minutes of flight time, extendable to 45 minutes with the DJI Mini 3 series long-endurance battery. It features the DJI O4 image transmission system, providing a 20-kilometer full HD transmission range. This ensures stable signal performance, even in urban areas with obstacles and signal interference, resulting in smoother control responses for users.

The drone boasts numerous advanced features like waypoint flight, constant speed cruising, and advanced smart return. It also offers creative shooting modes, including Master Shots, one-click short film mode, time-lapse photography, and panoramic shooting. A new Fitbit Charge smart wearable entry could be launched soon. Back in August 2021, the Charge 5 was announced for the global market. Now, a fresh leak offers a first look at the Fitbit Charge 6 model. So here are all the details.

Fitbit Charge 6 Design & Colors

Sources close to the matter shared the renders with MySmartPrice. Looking at the images, we can see that the Charge 6 wearable model will have a similar design to the Charge 5. Although, a notable change in design is the inclusion of a physical button on the right side. Apart from this, it retains the silicone bands and a small rectangular display that has rounded corners. The renders show that the Charge 6 will arrive in multiple color options, including Black, Beige, and Orange.

Unfortunately, the leak does not reveal any finer details like specs and pricing about this upcoming wearable. But since it appears to feature a design similar to the Fitbit Charge 5, the Charge 6 could also sport an Always On display, various health related sensors, and GPS support. The Charge 5 features a 1.04-inch AMOLED panel that offers 450 nits of peak brightness along with a heart rate and SpO2 blood oxygen tracking.

Aside from biosensors, the smart wearable even helps track other physical activities like bike rides, running, yoga, and much more. On a single full charge, the Charge 5 can last for up to a whole week, with a full charge taking just 2 hours. We can expect slight changes in specs but the company shouldn’t make drastic overhauls in the gadget. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report, so take this news with a pinch of salt.

Lava has unveiled the Lava Blaze Pro 5G, which has been announced in India. It is yet another affordable 5G phone to hit the Indian market. Last month, we reported on the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series being spotted on the IMEI database. But now, the top-end ROG Phone 8 Ultimate has surfaced on GeekBench, which reveals some of its key specifications. So let’s have a look.

As the name suggests, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate is the flagship model in ASUS’ upcoming gaming smartphone lineup. Looking at the GeekBench listing, the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate was spotted carrying the ASUS_AI2401_A model number. The benchmark reveals that the device features an octa core processor that has a 1+5+2 CPU architecture, which is likely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that is set to launch next month.

The ASUS ROG Phone 8 series is a premium grade lineup, so a high-end processor isn’t surprising. This chipset will be paired with at least one 16GB RAM variant. In the listing, we can see that the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will run on Android 14 OS out of the box. Furthermore, the benchmarking results show that the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate scored 2,213 points in the single core test and 7,408 points in the multi core test.

As of right now, the ROG Phone 8 lineup’s launch is still a while away. So finer details like their design, specs, and pricing are still unclear. ASUS is expected to launch this device in the first half of next year, similar to how the ROG Phone 7 series launched in April earlier this year. OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 12 flagship phone by the end of this year in China. There is a possibility that the brand will announce a new Ace-branded phone dubbed the OnePlus Ace 3 in October or November in China or along with the OP12 in December. Earlier this month, tipster Digital Chat Station leaked the specifications of an upcoming OnePlus flagship phone for the Chinese market. A Weibo post released by the leaker today confirms that the said device will have the OnePlus Ace 3 moniker. He also reiterated some of the key specifications of the device.

OnePlus Ace 3 key specifications

According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 3 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Hence, it will be the third SD8G2 phone from OnePlus after the OnePlus 11 5G and the Ace 2 Pro for China.

The tipster added that the Ace 3 will be equipped with a metal middle frame and a 5,500mAh battery that supports 100W charging. Its rear camera setup will include a Sony IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

As per his previous leak, the Ace 3 will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED display with curved edges. It will offer a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support high-frequency dimming. Its rear camera setup will include a Son IMX890 50-megapixel main camera, an OmniVision OV8D10 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. While the RAM and storage configurations are not known yet, it may arrive with up to 16 GB or 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The OnePlus Ace 3 is also expected to have a release outside of China, with India being a likely destination. It is probable that it will be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R when marketed outside of China.

The company has confirmed that it will debut its first product for the Indian market, the DreameBot D9 Max, a robotic vacuum cleaner, on Oct. 1 in the country.

DreameBot D9 Max: What to expect?

The DreameBot D9 Max is a robot vacuum cleaner capable of cleaning areas up to 250 square meters (or 2,690 square feet) on a single charge. It is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery that enables it to perform automatic cleaning in larger spaces. Additionally, when the battery starts running low, it automatically returns to its charging dock to recharge and then resumes cleaning from where it left off.

Moreover, the DreameBot D9 Max offers two distinct cleaning modes. It effectively removes dirt, spills, and debris from hard-to-reach places and corners. Additionally, it features a built-in water tank with a capacity of 270 ml (equivalent to 0.04 gallons), which helps maintain the mop pad’s moisture level according to your preferences.

Some of the other highlights of the DreameBot D9 Max include 4,000 Pa suction power, 4 levels of suction, LiDAR navigation, a 570-ml dust tank, Amazon Alexa assistant support, and app support. For those who don’t know, the DreameBot D9 Max robot vacuum cleaner made its debut in May 2022 in China, and it arrived in global markets a few months later. In Europe, the device is priced at 359 euros (~$380; ~Rs 31,600). There is no word on its price for the Indian market.

The OnePlus Pad Go is scheduled to be officially unveiled in India on Oct. 6. In addition to being offered on OnePlus India’s website, the tablet will also be available for purchase on Amazon and Flipkart in India. There are speculations that the same tablet might be called the Oppo Pad Air 2 when it’s released in the Chinese market. Leading up to the launch, OnePlus is gradually disclosing important specifications for the Pad Go. Meanwhile, a tipster named Mukul Sharma has shared some previously undisclosed details about the tablet.

OnePlus Pad Go specifications (rumoured)

OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus Pad Go will arrive with an 11.35-inch LCD display that offers a 2.4K resolution and a 7:5 aspect ratio. For audio, the device will come equipped with Dolby Atmos-powered quad speakers.

Sharma revealed that the OnePlus Pad Go will come equipped with a MediaTek processor and will have support for 4G LTE connectivity. Hence, it appears that the company may offer the device in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + cellular versions.

The OnePlus Pad Go will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage. It will have a microSD card slot for more storage. The tablet will run on ColorOS 13.2-based Android 13. Despite having a slightly larger screen than the OnePlus Pad, the Pad Go will be lighter, weighing in at 523g as opposed to the OnePlus Pad’s 552g.

In related news, OnePlus is also gearing up to launch the OnePlus Fold in multiple markets in October. As per a recent leak, OnePlus’ first foldable phone will be unveiled on Oct. 19. Some of the highlights of the OnePlus Open include a 2K foldable display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 50-megapixel triple camera unit including a periscope zoom lens, and a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

Sennheiser, known for its audio products, has announced a new line of wireless headphones in the market called Accentum. The company says that the new Sennheiser Accentum wireless headphones share much of its DNA with the flagship Momentum 4.

In terms of design, the new headphones look similar to the Momentum 4, but because they are cheaper, the company has taken some cost-cutting measures. The headband is made of hard plastic, and the touch gestures for controlling music playback and calls are replaced by a four-button layout at the bottom of the left cup.

The Accentum comes packed with 37mm dynamic transducers, which the company claims can deliver outstanding bass performance and offer striking clarity. There’s also Hybrid ANC that uses microphones on both inside and outside of the headphones to cancel out sound. It also has a wind-reduction mode to keep calls clear in a windy environment.

It comes with support for Bluetooth 5.2, supporting multipoint connection. This means that the headphones can be switched from one connected device to another without having to re-pair, making it easy to swap between devices. There’s also support for aptX HD codec for better sound quality and stability, along with support for SBC and AAC codecs.

Sennheiser says that the Accentum wireless headphones can offer up to 50 hours of battery life on a single charge, and there’s support for quick charging, which offers five hours of battery life with just 10 minutes of charging. It comes with a USB-C cable for charging the headphones, which can also be used to connect with any USB-C-supported device.

Coming to the pricing, the Sennheiser Accentum wireless headphones are priced at $179.99 (Amazon) and will be available from select retailers and the company’s own website. The company will start taking pre-orders from 26th September for the headphones, which come in two color options — Black and White. The black colored model will go on sale from 4th October, but the White version will start shipping in November.

It feels like yesterday when companies like HP, Lenovo and Asus introduced their first laptops with foldable displays. These laptops had quite an impression on users who wanted a foldable laptop screen. Now, LG has stepped into the arena with its latest foldable laptop.

According to a recent announcement, LG has revealed its latest device with a 17-inch foldable OLED display. This new foldable laptop will go by the name Gram Fold. Let’s go ahead and take a look at the specifications.

LG Gram Fold Specifications

The latest LG Gram Fold will have a 17-inch Foldable OLED touch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels. The size of the laptop in tablet mode is 378 x 280 mm and 192 x 280 mm in Fold mode. The Gram Fold weight is around 1,250 (excluding the keyboard) and 1,530 (including the keyboard), making it easier for users to carry it from place to place.

This development is expected to culminate in the operational launch of the fund by the end of the year.

While this isn’t China’s first endeavor into supporting its own tech industries—the Big Fund was established back in 2014 to bolster the domestic chip industry—it does indicate a more focused and urgent approach. The push has become increasingly vital as China races to reduce its dependence on foreign technology, particularly from the United States, which has been increasingly restrictive about funding Chinese tech sectors, such as AI, semiconductors, and biotechnology.

In contrast, the U.S government has recently tightened its grip on funding mechanisms through the Chips and Science Act, essentially limiting the expansion capacity for chip manufacturing in “countries of concern” like China. Such restrictions seem to have fueled China’s determination to be self-sufficient and globally competitive in key technological domains.

However, it’s not all smooth sailing. China’s ambitious plans are clouded by issues of waste and corruption, as seen in the previous Big Fund scandal involving its executives. Moreover, Beijing’s initiative to focus state financing on 15 emerging technology sectors shows it’s spreading its bets, but also highlights the potential for overreach.

The Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council aims to bump up investments from central government-owned enterprises in emerging technologies by 2 percentage points in 2023. Whether these orchestrated moves will lead to success or stumble upon the hurdles of the past remains a question. But one thing is clear: China is steadfast in its resolve to be a global tech leader, and it is willing to invest heavily to make that a reality.

With an aim to woo China’s burgeoning middle class, who have shown a penchant for modern digital features like voice controls and self-driving tech, the S7 seems to be positioning itself as the go-to EV for tech enthusiasts.

What makes Luxeed special is the confluence of Chery’s automotive expertise and Huawei’s tech prowess. Chery, already on an upward trend with a 17% increase in EV deliveries last year, brings manufacturing clout to the table. Huawei, meanwhile, is diversifying its portfolio by entering the EV arena after grappling with U.S. sanctions. Its Huawei HI system, launched last year, brings cutting-edge computing and autonomous driving capabilities.

According to Gao Shen, an independent analyst, the Luxeed brand is “more than the sum of its parts,” benefiting from both Chery’s manufacturing capabilities and Huawei’s tech innovation. As the Chinese EV market is expected to swell by a staggering 55% this year, the Luxeed S7 has its work cut out for it.

The Chinese EV market is already buzzing with local brands like Nio, Li Auto, and Xpeng inching closer to Tesla‘s premium EV dominance. But Luxeed’s S7 could be the wildcard entry that disrupts the status quo, leveraging its dual parentage to offer something that is both technically advanced and locally grounded.
