Microsoft Doesn’t Care If You Buy an Xbox Series X or S

The ninth-generation console wars among Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo are continuing at full speed. Sony currently seems to be leading the race with its PS5, while Microsoft is doing its best to close the gap, or at least that’s what we believed. According to the latest reports, it appears that Microsoft has been sacrificing Xbox Series X sales in favor of investing in cloud gaming. Here are the details…

Microsoft Bets on Cloud Gaming, Sacrifices Xbox Series X and S Sales

Microsoft released the Xbox Series S and X in 2020. These consoles were powerful, and Microsoft hoped they would help the company win back gamers who had switched to PlayStation. However, it seems that Microsoft is now prioritizing cloud gaming over its consoles. In an internal email exchange, Xbox chief Phil Spencer and CFO Tim Stuart said that Microsoft had been making “tradeoffs” in order to invest in cloud gaming, even if that meant sacrificing Xbox Series X sales.

As you know, Microsoft has been trying to buy Activision Blizzard, but the legal process is making it difficult. During the FTC hearing about this process, some internal discussions at Microsoft were revealed. These discussions showed that Microsoft is prioritizing cloud gaming and content over console sales. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, said that “we believe in our tradeoffs for Cloud and Content in Gaming over console volume.” This means that Microsoft is willing to sacrifice some console sales in order to focus on cloud gaming and content. Unfortunately, these leaks will disappoint many Xbox enthusiasts.

In order to make cloud gaming more appealing to gamers, Microsoft has been investing heavily in building out its cloud infrastructure. The company has also been working on a dedicated Xbox streaming device that would make it easier for people to access cloud gaming. However, it is unclear when this device will be released. Microsoft’s decision to sacrifice Xbox Series X sales for cloud gaming is a gamble, but it seems is one that the company is willing to take.

$2 Million Apple Heist: Man Admits to Taking $700,000 to Reroute Shipment of Products

Apple is a massive company that operates in 167 countries. It has websites and physical stores in many countries, as well as authorized dealers and services. This size is great for the company and its shareholders, but it can also lead to problems. For example, a man recently admitted to accepting a bribe to reroute a shipment of Apple products worth $2 million. Here are the details…

New Hampshire Man Reroutes $2 Million Shipment of Apple Products for Bribe

If you own a retail store and want to sell Apple products, the usual way to do it is to contact Apple and make a purchase. But a company in Hong Kong took a different approach. They bribed a shipping company who was delivering products to a competitor, and stole the products. A while ago, a Hong Kong company made a $2 million purchase from Apple. The products were in New Hampshire, so the company needed to find a way to ship them to Hong Kong. They made a deal with a shipping company owned by William Wu.

Apple products

However, a man named Yongfu Huo intervened and complicated things a bit. He offered Wu $700,000 to deliver the products to him instead of the real owner. Wu accepted the proposal and did not deliver the products correctly. He even tried to cover his tracks by claiming that law enforcement had seized the Apple products. Wu’s company then sent a forged “Disclaimer of Ownership” document to the victim.

Thankfully, the crimes committed by these two fraudsters did not go unpunished. Law enforcement, acting on a complaint, arrested William Wu. During his questioning, he pleaded guilty to interstate transportation of stolen property. He now faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, 3 years of supervised release, a fine of $250,000, and restitution. As part of the plea agreement, Wu has agreed to repay the victim $2 million. Unfortunately, the current fate of Yongfu Huo is unknown, but it is suspected that he received a similar penalty.

Scientists Achieve Breakthrough in 3D Printed Miniature Beating Heart Chamber

According to recent news from IT Home, a team of scientists at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany has accomplished a remarkable feat in the field of 3D printing technology. As reported by the British publication “New Scientist,” these researchers successfully created a miniature heart chamber using 3D printing, capable of autonomously beating for over 100 days.

The 3D Printed Heart continued to beat for 100 days autonomously

The groundbreaking experiment involved the use of human cardiomyocytes, collagen, and hyaluronic acid, combined to form a unique “biological ink.” This specialized ink was then carefully injected into a gel-supported cardiac tissue structure using a nozzle. Once printed, the gel solidified, resulting in the creation of an authentic artificial heart chamber.

3D Printed Heart

Typically, a complete human heart is composed of four chambers, with the cardiac chambers located at its base. The scientists managed to 3D print tiny heart chambers, measuring a mere 14 millimeters in height and 8 millimeters in diameter. These miniature chambers, approximately one-sixth the size of real human heart chambers, exhibited remarkable functionality. They began beating just a week after printing and continued to beat autonomously for an impressive 100-day period.

In their future endeavours, the researchers aim to inject a second bio-ink into these microchambers. This innovative approach will enable the growth of blood vessels within the chambers, ultimately paving the way for the printing of a completely functional heart.

This achievement builds upon the growing impact of 3D printing technology in the field of life sciences. British scientists recently made headlines by successfully implanting a conductive circuit into a living organism using 3D printing. This breakthrough paves the way for potential future research in the exciting field of brain-computer interfaces.

While these advancements are undoubtedly remarkable, it is important to note that the utilization of external jump links contained in this article, including hyperlinks, QR codes, and passwords, serve the purpose of conveying supplementary information and saving time. Readers should approach these resources as references for further exploration.

As the field of 3D printing continues to evolve, breakthroughs like these hold great promise for revolutionizing healthcare and advancing medical science, offering hope for millions of patients worldwide awaiting organ transplantation.

Now, Apple is reportedly developing a larger iMac with a display over 30-Inch. Here are the details…

New 30-Inch iMac Could Fill Void in Apple’s Mac Lineup

The iMac is one of the most iconic computer models of all time. Its all-in-one design and aesthetic appeal have made it a favorite among users for years. In 2021, Apple updated the iMac with the M1 processor, making it much more powerful. The design was also overhauled. However, the company took a step back in one aspect – the screen size.

2021 iMac

Apple used to make fairly large iMacs with a 27-inch screen. However, in 2021, the company released new models with a 24-inch screen. This change, combined with a thick bezel and a low screen-to-body ratio, sparked criticism from some users. The criticism was that the smaller screen size and thick bezel made the new iMacs look outdated. Some users also felt that the smaller screen size was not enough for their needs. It seems that Apple listened to these criticisms and decided to make some changes.

According to the Mark Gurman, Apple is developing a new iMac with a display over 30-Inch. This would be the largest iMac ever made, and it would fill a void in Apple’s lineup since the company discontinued the 27-inch iMac and iMac Pro in 2021. If the new iMac does happen to be released, it’s likely to be at least a year or two away. Gurman says that it’s still “further out,” which suggests that it’s not yet in the early stages of development.

Gurman also expects the 24-inch iMac to be updated with the as-yet-unannounced M3 chip by early next year. However, it’s important to note that all of these is just a rumor at this point, and there’s no guarantee that the new iMac or M3 processor will actually be released.
