The new movie editor provides users with two options: create a movie from scratch or choose a preset suggested theme. If users opt for the former, they have the freedom to select any media from their gallery and make adjustments to images or scenes using the built-in editor. On the other hand, if they choose a suggested theme, the feature will automatically select videos and images based on the chosen theme, but users can still swap out and edit the selections.

Google Photos’ movie editor intelligently selects the most meaningful moments from long videos, ensuring that the final movie is both engaging and memorable. Users can select the theme, people, or pets they want to include, and Google Photos will create a custom movie using both video clips and photos.

Google has designed the movie editor to be user-friendly and accessible, requiring minimal knowledge of movie-making intricacies. Besides the powerful SoC, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE is also confirmed to be backed by a large 5,500mAh battery unit that Realme promises could last up to 48 hours on a single charge. In addition, it will support 100W fast charging, which can fully juice up the device in less than 40 minutes.

The display of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE is no slouch either as the brand has teased that the device is featuring a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout OLED display with thin bezels. It will offer a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.

Nokia C12 Plus India Launch soon, listed on official website with Specs & Pricing

Nokia recently the C12 and C12 Pro smartphones in India with affordable price tags and removable batteries. The company is now gearing up to bring another model into the lineup, called Nokia C12 Plus. While the official launch date is yet to be announced, Nokia went ahead and listed the smartphone on its website with complete specifications and pricing. Let’s look at the details.

As per the listing, the Nokia C12 Plus features a 6.3-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels. Design-wise, the smartphone looks similar to the vanilla C12 with a waterdrop notch on the top and a thick chin at the bottom. The phone features a removable battery and a 3.5mm jack as well.

The handset comes with a single 8MP rear camera with Autofocus and an LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP shooter for selfies and video calling. Under the hood, Nokia C12 Plus is equipped with a yet unknown Octa-Core Unisoc Processor clocked up to 1.6 GHz (Min 4 cores of 1.6 Ghz). The SoC will be paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.

On the software front, the handset will run on Android 12 Go edition out of the box. It will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery, which can be charged through a micro USB port.

Driving recorders have become increasingly popular in recent years, particularly in Asia, where they are widely used for safety and insurance purposes. Xiaomi‘s ecological chain company 70Mai is a leading name when it comes to dashboard cams. The company recently announced the Dash Cam Omni for the North American market after unveiling it on Kickstarter. The company has now disclosed that it would be launching a new driving recorder May that will have a unique feature.

According to the teaser, the 70mai 4K driving recorder A810 is expected to be the first in the industry to use the Sony IMX678 sensor. This is a significant improvement over the previous flagship IMX415 sensor. With a larger target surface chip and increased photosensitive area, the new sensor promises to deliver better night vision capabilities.

Moreover, the A810 will be equipped with Sony STARVIS 2 image sensing technology, which supports higher dynamic range and has been upgraded in terms of sensitivity, noise suppression, near-infrared light absorption rate, and high dynamic range. The result is a significant improvement in shooting functionality, particularly in situations such as high-speed sports.

In addition, the A810 is integrated with Mai Color System & Sony, which is Sony’s high-definition image color solution. The system enhances transparency, contrast, and the fineness of the night picture. It also accurately fixes frames and prevents blurring of the image, particularly in capturing dynamic pictures.

Once a popular brand, Lava lost its momentum to Chinese rivals like Xiaomi and Oppo. However, the Indian brand has started to pick up again with the launch of several impressive mid-range and budget smartphones. Recently, the company has been teasing the launch of a new handset, called Lava Blaze 2. It was found listed on Amazon India earlier today and in a recent development, a tipster has shared its key specifications, pricing, and renders. Here are the details.

The original Lava Blaze 5G debuted in India towards the end of 2022 and we noted in our review that the handset outperforms its rival in some areas. Its successor, the Blaze 2, is expected to be even better with an improved design and features. According to Tipster Mukul Sharma, the handset will be powered by the entry-level Unisoc T616 processor, paired with 6GB RAM (plus 5GB virtual) and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

Lava Blaze 2 is reported to flaunt a 6.5-inch panel with an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone gets a flat display with a punch-hole cutout that houses an 8MP selfie shooter. On the back, the smartphone features two large rings housing the camera sensors. The primary camera is 13MP and there’s also an AI shooter. The smartphone is said to be fueled by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

Sharma says the Lava Blaze 2 will be priced in India under Rs. 10,000. It will likely be available for purchase in Glass Orange, Glass Black, and Glass Blue colors. Oppo might be gearing up to bring a new A series smartphone into the global as well as Chinese markets. The handset in question should be called the Oppo A98 and its launch seems near as it has already bagged several certifications, including NBTC, TDRA, and CQC. In the latest development, the mid-range smartphone has appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website. Here are the details.

Oppo A98 is expected to debut as a mid-range smartphone with some impressive features. You can expect the device to carry an immersive display, a premium design, and a decent processor. It should arrive as the successor to the Oppo A97, which was unveiled last summer in China. Circling back to the smartphone’s SIRIM listing, it has been spotted with the model number CPH2529. The listing itself isn’t anything interesting but it hints at a nearby launch of the device.

Previous listings of the device have revealed it will support 67W fast charging and offers 5G connectivity. Notably, a TENAA listing from last year revealed the handset will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint scanner and a Full HD+ resolution. We expect the smartphone to offer at least a 90hz refresh rate. While it is unclear which chipset will power the device, the listing revealed it will be a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The smartphone is believed to be fueled by a 4,690mAh battery pack. In the rear camera department, it will get a 108MP primary camera accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The front may get a 16MP selfie shooter. Currently, there’s no official confirmation from the brand so take these specs with a pinch of salt.

Samsung making MacBook Air OLED panels, despite competition with its own Galaxy Books

Apple MacBooks offer top-class performance and their displays are also pretty decent, but not as good as some of the Windows laptops that use OLED panels. Samsung currently leads the pack with its Galaxy Book laptops that boast an impressive AMOLED panel. However, the Cupertino company reportedly has plans to release OLED MacBooks by the end of 2024, and what’s interesting is that Samsung will be the one manufacturing the displays for these upcoming laptops.

The Elec reports that Samsung has begun developing OLED panels for the 13.3-inch Apple MacBook Air. Although, it is unclear whether and when the MacBook Air, for which Samsung is developing a display, will actually be released. If past reports are to be believed, Apple will unveil the said OLED laptops by the end of 2024.

When compared to Mini-LED, which is currently used by many laptops, including the ones by Apple, OLED boasts several advantages. For one, it is thinner, more versatile, and lighter in weight. Additionally, OLED displays offer sharper images, more vibrant colors, and higher refresh rates.

Samsung’s Korean rival— LG display— is apparently facing manufacturing constraints. LG is currently developing both 11-inch and 13-inch iPad OLEDs that Apple plans to release next year, so it doesn’t have the production capacity for other panels, reports The Elec. On the other hand, Samsung is reportedly only working on an 11-inch iPad model for Apple, which means it has the capacity to manufacture panels for the MacBook Air as well.

Samsung’s development of OLED panels for MacBooks could provide Apple with an opportunity to challenge the Korean company’s Galaxy Books in the display department.

Infinix launched the Hot 30i smartphone in India earlier this week. Now the brand has announced a new addition in the lineup in Thailand. The latest offering is the Infinix Hot 30. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box.

The Infinix Hot 30 features a center-aligned punch-hole display with a large 6.78-inch screen. It bears an FHD+ resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is Widevine L1 certified for streaming content. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The back panel has a stripped pattern design and houses two camera rings along with an LED flash.

The Infinix Hot 30 has dual rear cameras comprising a 50MP main sensor and an AI lens. There is an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper.

Under the hood, the Infinix Hot 30 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 processor. The chipset is coupled with 8GB RAM along with 8GB virtual memory. Software-wise, it runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.

Lava is set to launch a new smartphone in India. The upcoming offering from the homegrown brand is the Lava Blaze 2. Amazon has put up a microsite of the device confirming its arrival and availability on the e-commerce platform. The listing reveals some key specifications of the smartphone, but the launch date remains unknown. Lava has various smartphones in the Blaze lineup and the forthcoming Blaze 2 will likely arrive as the successor to the Blaze that debuted in July last year.

As per the microsite, the Lava Blaze 2 will feature a compact form factor. There is a SIM card tray on one side and we could spot a protruding camera module on the back panel. The smartphone is confirmed to feature 6GB RAM and 5GB virtual RAM technology. It will pack 128GB of internal storage. The microsite reveals that the Lava Blaze 2 is the fastest smartphone under the Rs 10,000 segment as per the AnTuTu benchmark score.

Along with the Lava Blaze 2, the brand is also set to announce the ProBuds N31 neckband Bluetooth earphones. The teaser reveals the upcoming audio device with silicone ear tips and shark fin for secure and comfortable fit.

The Lava Blaze 2 was spotted on Geekbench and in live image earlier this month. The benchmark database revealed a Unisoc T616 processor under the hood. It was listed with 6GB RAM and Android 12 OS. The device scored 359 and 1,497 points in the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results respectively.

Tecno launched the Phantom V Fold in India earlier this month. The device carries a price tag of Rs 89,990 and Rs 99,999 for the 12GB + 25GB and 12GB + 512GB configurations respectively. Tecno had announced an early-bird sale offer but the exact date was not mentioned. Now the brand has revealed an exclusive early access date to initial users. Additionally, Tecno India has also announced the production of its first-ever foldable phone in the country under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold early access sale for initial users will start on April 12th on Amazon. It will be applicable as long as stocks last. The device will be available for Rs 77,777. The open sale date of the foldable phone remains unknown at the moment. The Tecno Phantom V Fold will be manufactured at the Noida facility and it is said to have a present capacity of producing 24 million phones annually.

As for the core specifications, the Tecno Phantom V Fold is a horizontal folding phone with a 6.42-inch main display with an FHD+ resolution and a 7.85-inch interior screen with a resolution of 2,000 x 2,296 pixels. Both displays have an AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold sports a circular camera module housing a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto unit, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP camera on the primary screen and a 16MP sensor on the interior display for selfies and video calling.

Under the hood, the Tecno Phantom V Fold is equipped with a Dimensity 9000 Plus processor. It packs 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and is offered in 256GB and 512GB storage options. The foldable phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 45W fast charging. It runs on Android 13 OS out of the box.

Tesla launches ‘GigaBier’: A limited edition $30 beer inspired by the Cybertruck

Tesla has launched its limited edition Cybertruck-inspired beer in the European market. The $30 beer named ‘GigaBier’ is a pilsner-style beer brewed with an exclusive strain of Cyberhops and features notes of citrus, bergamot, and sweet fruit. Each bottle features a seamless gloss black sleeve with a glow-in-the-dark Giga watermark.

The company said that Tesla GigaBier is designed to emulate the form of Cybertruck while honoring the 500-year tradition of German Reinheitsgebot beermaking. Soon after announcing the launch of their new product at Giga Fest, Tesla trademarked both “Giga Beer” and “Giga Bier.” As of now, the product is only available for purchase in Europe, where it is produced in Germany and sold as a three-pack for €89 ($97.06). Each can of Tesla’s GigaBier has a 5 percent ABV and contains approximately 330ml, which is just over 11 oz. Tesla has filed for registration of the product through the US Patent Office, but it is not yet available for purchase in the US.

The beer is the second alcoholic beverage sold by Tesla. In 2020, Tesla launched its limited edition Tesla Tequila or ‘Teslaquila’ which was an exclusive, small-batch premium 100% de agave tequila añejo made from sustainably sourced highland and lowland agaves which were sold out in record time. Bottles that had been previously owned were sold on various online marketplaces, such as eBay, for a price exceeding $1,000.

Tesla is not only known for its Electric Vehicles but also for a variety of eccentric limited-edition products that usually sell out within minutes of their launch. For instance, in 2018 Tesla launched a limited edition surfboard made of carbon fiber and designed by the Tesla Design Studio.

The Bluetooth SIG authority has given the go-ahead for the upcoming Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) and Moto G 5G (2023). It appears that the Lenovo-owned brand may announce both models by the end of April or in May.

The Bluetooth SIG certification of Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) and Moto G 5G (2023) reveals that these devices have support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The certification reveals that model numbers XT2315-1, XT2315-4, and XT2315-5 are associated with the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023).

So far, only limited details of the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) have surfaced. The device is expected to arrive with a 50-megapixel dual camera system, 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, Android 13 OS, a built-in stylus, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The leaked renders of the device have revealed that it will arrive in bronze and black colors.

The Bluetooth SIG certification also states that the XT2313-3, XT2313-4, and XT2313-6 are associated with the Moto G 5G (2023). In November 2022, a leak revealed that Motorola’s upcoming phone XT2313-3 has the Penang 5G codename. Hence, it appears that the said device will launch as the Moto G 5G (2023) in the coming days.

The last year’s report also carried an image of the Moto G 5G (2023). It revealed that the device has a punch-hole display and a dual-camera setup. The leak also revealed that the phone will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of storage. In the US, the Moto G 5G (2023) will be available from all three main U.S. carriers, such as Cricket, Dish, and Tracfone.

Dell recently launched the Inspiron 16 Plus 7630 laptop in some global markets including China and Japan. And now, the brand has updated the Inspiron 14 line with the latest 13th gen Intel & AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors in India. There are two models in the updated lineup called the Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 14 2-in-1.

According to Dell, their laptops come with several advanced features that enhance the user’s media consumption and gaming experience, including Dolby Atmos spatial audio, a 16:10 aspect ratio screen, and Dell ComfortView software technology. Additionally, the laptops are equipped with dual microphones and AI technology that reduces background noise.

Dell Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 14 2-in-1 specs

Dell’s Inspiron 14 laptop has the 13th gen Intel Core processors powering the device. The AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors power the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 variant. Charging is quick and efficient with ExpressCharge support, with the battery charging to 80% in only an hour. The laptops are equipped with 14-inch FHD displays, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 250nits brightness, and a WVA panel that supports ComfortView. The Inspiron 14 2-in-1 also features touch support.

The Inspiron 14 2-in-1 has a 360-degree hinge that allows for four different modes, including tablet, laptop, tent, and stand. It supports an optional active pen. The laptops offer up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. They run on Windows 11 Home.

The Dell Inspiron 14 and 14 2-in-1 share the same 54Wh battery and 65W charging support. The laptops come with various connectivity options and ports, such as Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211, HDMI 1.4, 2 Intel Thunderbolt 4.0, 1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, an SD card reader, and a headphone jack. Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor with Windows Hello support.

Price & availability

Starting from April 7th, customers can purchase the latest Dell Inspiron laptops at Dell Exclusive Stores (DES) and certain retail outlets. The Dell Inspiron 14 will be priced at a starting rate of Rs 64,990 in India, while the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 will begin at Rs 79,990. Additionally, the AMD edition of the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 will start at Rs 82,190.
