The same could happen for the Galaxy A23, however, we don’t have any proof for it thus far. By value-wise, the 4G version of Galaxy A22 is a better phone overall. On the other hand, the Galaxy A22 5G sacrifices certain basic features for 5G connectivity.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review: A Great Fusion of Fashion and Technology

After spending some time with the Huawei Lipstick Earbuds, it’s pretty obvious to me that the main selling point of this is its design and look. Especially targeting the female segment of the market. It has an excellent build quality, but other things are pretty average. The main aspect we are going to discuss today is to what extent can you enjoy and appreciate this aesthetic design.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review: Design

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review 06

Let’s start with the built quality. The build is fantastic, especially because the metal build quality is very solid. The steel body of both earbuds and the charging case gives it a decent sense of luxury. The polished design is very smooth, just like a mirror. It does occasionally catch fingerprints, but it’s resistant to scratching, so you don’t have to worry about putting it into a bag with a lot of other stuff. The overall size is a bit bigger, but I’ve asked many girls around me, and they replied they don’t care about the size because they’re carrying a bag full of other stuff wherever they go anyway.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review logo featured 03

The Huawei Lipstick Earbuds are very light and comfortable. The earbuds fit pretty well in your ears, and you will forget their presence after wearing them for a little while.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review: Sound Quality & Battery Life

Speaking of its sound and other features,  the sound quality is pretty average, not very impressive, but it’s enough for daily usage. Active noise-canceling also works fine, not the top-class level, but it works pretty well. Latency however is very impressive, being as low as 90ms, which is barely perceivable. These earbuds feature the usual functions you can find with other premium or expensive earphones.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review earbuds

As for the battery life, it lasts for 4 hours with one full charge and 22 hours with a charging case.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review: Do girls love this design?

So going back to the main topic, the design. I think the charging case is gorgeous, the black and gold combination with the right shape, makes it look very elegant and pretty as a real high-end lipstick case. When you open it up, you see the earbuds with bright red color and this is where it gets a somewhat controversial.

As a guy, I decided not to judge these earbuds based on their appearance, since this is specifically targeted at girls. What I did instead was, I took a few pictures of it, sent them to a few friends who were girls. Some of them thought it looked beautiful, and they would love to have it no matter what the price is, while others thought it won’t match very well with most of the clothes and make-ups they had, so they were not very excited.

Huawei Lipstick Earbuds Review logo featured 04

So mostly, it depends on your personal preference. If you are intending to get one of these for your girlfriend or wife, check in advance whether they will like it or not, because this is not for everybody’s taste.

In conclusion, it has a great built quality. Sound quality and other features are average for this price range. So the only main reason you would buy this is if you, or the person who is going to receive this as a gift, love its design.

In 2015, Anker launched an enhanced version of its charging cables, capable of withstanding 5,000 bends. This was followed by the company launching GaN or Gallium Nitride chargers in 2018.

According to an official statement, Anker has kept the “#1 Best Seller” title on Amazon-based platforms since 2012. It ranks second in terms of sales in the US, dwarfed only by Apple’s ranking. Samsung and Motorola battle it out to lead LATAM smartphone market, Xiaomi sees growth

The LATAM smartphone market grew only 0.7% YoY and 3.1 QoQ in Q3 2021, despite it getting increasingly saturated with new players. In the last year alone, at least five new brands entered the region but meaningful growth was held back by the ongoing global component shortages.

Samsung continued to hold the top spot in the market despite being impacted by Brazil and Vietnam factory woes (via Counterpoint Research). However, things from the company’s point of view did not look as good as its market share reached the lowest in previous seven quarters. As a result, Motorola which holds the number two spot managed to narrow the gap. Motorola has also been improving its product availability in the region and has thus managed to lead the Mexican market while also improving its position in Argentina and Brazil.

latam smartphone market counterpoint
Source: Counterpoint Research Market Monitor, Q3 2021

However, even Motorola doesn’t remain unchallenged as Xiaomi that currently ranks third has been improving its hold on the LATAM smartphone market. The company’s shipments almost doubled YoY. But its volume witnessed a drop compared to the last quarter – the first QoQ drop in three years. Xiaomi is a close leader in Colombia and a strong second player in Chile and Peru, and aims to become the leader in these three countries.

ZTE ranks fourth in Latin Market and has almost doubled its volume YoY, with Mexico being its biggest market. It is also focusing on growing in Colombia and Peru in the operator channel.

OPPO has continued to stay aggressive in Mexico and has now expanded to Colombia. The company still needs to work on brand recognition in the latter, so it might take longer to make an impact.

OPPO is followed by Apple and vivo. Apple saw its sales volume decrease to seasonality, as the iPhone 13 was launched only in October in most of LATAM. vivo, on the other hand, has been aggressively expanding its presence in the region and has grown beyond Columbia and Mexico, officially entering Chile.

The “others” category, particularly the “Local Kings”, was impacted once again by the ongoing semiconductor shortages.

The Edifier X2 TWS earbuds feature an ergonomic design tailored to fit perfectly in your ears while maintaining a stylish look. Each of the earbuds weighs just 3.5g so you can virtually forget that you’re even wearing them.

But it’s not just the design alone that’s the highlight as Edifier has also given plenty of attention to the audio output of the earbuds. 13mm dynamic drivers have been used to output powerful sound, which the company promises will provide a “wide sound field and balanced listening feeling.” This is combined with other tech like optimized call noise reduction, reduce environmental noise interference, and enhanced human voice to improve sound clarity.

The Edifier X2 TWS earbuds support the Bluetooth 5.1 standard and protocols like HFP, A2DP, and AVRCP. The audio codec support seems to be limited to SBC.
