The Vivo Y30 Vitality Edition smartphone that has a V2066A model number is likely to launch soon in China. The V2066A model was spotted way back in April with full specifications at China’s TENAA certification site. The handset has appeared on China Telecom’s database with the Vivo Y30 Vitality Edition moniker.
Earlier this year, China received two Y30 models such as the Vivo Y30 and Y30 Standard Edition. The China Telecom listing reveals that it will be released on Oct. 25 (today) in the Chinese market.

Vivo Y30 Vitality Edition specifications
The Vivo Y30 Vitality Edition has a 6.51-inch display with a teardrop notch. It supports an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It is backed by a 4,910mAh rated battery. Its 3C appearance had revealed that it may carry support for 18W fast charging.
For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera. Its vertical camera setup on the back has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel lens. It runs on Android 11 OS.
The Helio G80 chip powers the device with 8 GB of RAM. It has 128 GB of storage and a microSD card slot. It is fitted with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The device measures 164.4 x 76.32 x 8.41mm and weighs 191.4 grams. The handset is likely to cost 1,699 Yuan in China and it could be available in colors like Obsidian Black, Morning White, and Water Blue.
Earlier this month, iQOO 8 Legend was tipped to launch in India before Diwali. The festival of lights is now only a few days away, however, the company is yet to debut the phone. Before the release of the device in the country, the same source now says that the handset will be accompanied by iQOO 8.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, iQOO will be soon launching the vanilla iQOO 8 in India alongside the iQOO 8 Legend. Previously, the publication suggested that the latter device from the brand will be unveiled before Diwali.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t appear to be the case. The exact release date of these phones is still a mystery. But they are said to make their debut sooner than later.
Having said that, the iQOO 8 Legend is expected to be the iQOO 8 Pro sold in China. On the other hand, the iQOO 8 will most likely be the same handset that’s sold in the brand’s home country.
The iQOO 8 series was announced in China in August. The main highlights of this lineup include Samsung E5 AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, liquid VC cooling, L-shaped camera array, gimbal OIS, stereo speakers, and more.
Xiaomi with a Weibo post today announced a new ‘Exploration Theme’ for the Xiaomi MIX 4 smartphone. The packaging of the device has been upgraded and now features an astronomical theme complete with stars and planets.
Upon a closer look, one can see that the ringed circle is meant to depict the planet Saturn, while the rocky grey ‘planet’ actually is one of Saturn’s more prominent moons called Mimas. The overall theme of the box revolves around the color grey and it’s likely that this special edition only comes with the grey Xiaomi MIX 4. This is apparent from the official images that only show the device in a single color.
A special bag will also be given to those purchasing the Xiaomi MIX 4 Exploration Theme edition to complement the new box. This one is completely black and has a golden “Xiaomi MIX 4” text printed atop.
The device itself doesn’t seem to have gotten any changes in design and color though with the special edition and all of the tweaks are limited to its packaging alone.
Sadly, there is still no official news of the MIX 4 getting a global release, so the new “out of this world” unboxing experience may never make it to the global audience. There were a couple of indications earlier for a global release including a Bluetooth SIG certification and an appearance at Google Play Console, but they are yet to come to fruition.

JioPhone Next, a new budget smartphone from Reliance Jio, made in partnership with Google, is expected to be made available in the Indian market around Diwali. This means that the official launch could be just days away.
Ahead of the launch, the company has released a video titled “Making of JioPhone Next” which reveals some of the key details of the smartphone, including the software that will be running the device.
It has now been confirmed that the JioPhone Next will be running Pragati OS. It is a new operating system built on top of Android in partnership with Google and comes with a host of features to cater to entry-level smartphone customers.
Reliance says that Pragati OS has been built specifically for India. In a statement, the company said: “It has been engineered by best minds at Jio and Google with an objective to bring Pragati for all while offering truly seamless experience at affordable cost.”
It has also been confirmed that the smartphone will come powered by a Qualcomm chipset but specific details haven’t been revealed yet. The device will also come with a Voice Assistant to help users operate the device and get information easily from the internet.
There will also be a “Translate” feature that will let users have any screen translated to a language of their choice. In the camera department, the JioPhone will come with a “smart and powerful camera,” which is likely to be a 13-megapixel sensor.
It will support multiple photography modes such as portrait mode, night mode, and more. Users will also get “custom Indian augmented reality filters” to enhance the pictures by associating them with “emotions and festivities.”
A recent leak of the phone through Google Play Console listing reveals that it will feature an HD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The phone is expected to come powered by a 2,500mAh battery. While the pricing and availability details still remain unknown, it will probably be priced between ₹5,000 (~$66) and ₹7,000 (~$93) in the Indian market.
Double Eleven is considered the biggest shopping festival in China. Retailers not only offer heavy discounts but also run different types of promotions including games and whatnot during the sales period. The latest such marketing by Tmall involves emojis.
Tmall ( previously Taobao Mall) is one of the leading eCommerce firms in China. The Alibaba Group-owned company competes against the likes of JD and Suning in the region.
These businesses compete fiercely during the 11.11 (Double Eleven, November 11) aka Singles’ Day shopping festival. Hence, they try their best to lure in more shoppers during this period.
Ahead of the 2021 edition of the festival, Tmall has introduced a new way for customers to search for products on its platform. Instead of typing words, shoppers can simply insert emojis and let the algorithm suggest products.
A report by MyDrivers says that the emoji search function in Tmall is currently under ‘heavy-duty public testing’. At present, it supports 400 commonly used emojis.

With more people using the feature during the Double Eleven shopping festival and beyond, the algorithm could get better in the future. Since emojis now play a key role in our day-to-day conversations online, there’s a high chance of success for this feature.
This is not the first time Tmall has introduced something unique. The eCommerce giant is also known for improving the shopping experience via features like cart sharing, using images to buy medicines for elders, and more.
Samsung is rumored to announce the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones by the end of this year or in January next year. The lineup will include three models such as Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. This year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra came with support for 25W fast charging. Fresh information reveals that the S22 Ultra will come with support for faster charging.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra was spotted at the 3C certification in China earlier this month. It suggested that the device may support only 25W fast charging. However, reliable tipster Ice Universe has claimed that the S22 Ultra will carry support for 45W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra renders by OnLeaks
The tipster also revealed that it will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. the device will be able to charge up to 70 percent in just 35 minutes. The S21 Ultra was packed with the same sized battery. While Samsung will be offering enhanced fast charging on the Ultra model, the S22 and S22+ may continue to support 25W charging.
The S21 Ultra carried support for an S Pen stylus, but it did not feature a dedicated slot for storing it. Reports have claimed that the S22 Ultra will have a dedicated S Pen slot. It is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 898 or Exynos 2200 depending on the market.

Last month, ZTE-backed Nubia had launched its Red Magic 6S Pro gaming smartphone as the flagship device for the second half of the year. As the name itself indicates, it is an upgraded version of the Red Magic 6 Pro launched earlier this year.
Today, the company has launched the Red Magic 6S Pro Battlefield Camouflage Edition in the Chinese market. The gaming smartphone comes packed with 18GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, carrying a price tag of 6,999 yuan which is around $1,096.
The Red Magic 6S Pro Battlefield Camouflage Edition is currently available for pre-order in China and the company will start shipping the device from 1st November.
This new variant is made in collaboration with Tencent Games and is a limited edition device. The phone’s back panel is split between camouflage and translucent body design. Further, the company is offering a full metal combat gearbox packaging that comes equipped with a phone case, charger, dual-core cooling back clip, and Red Magic TWS Gaming Earbuds — all having camouflage design.
Coming to the specifications, the specs remain the same as the Red Magic 6S Pro. It features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels screen resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and 720Hz touch sampling rate. It also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 700 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, coupled with Adreno 660 GPU. It is powered by a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with support for up to 120W fast charging technology. There’s also a Charge Separation feature found in Game Space that bypasses the battery and takes power directly from a power source to keep the smartphone cooler while heavy gaming.
The latest Geekbench 5 scores for the Google Tensor are in and they sure do look disappointing for a 2021 flagship the Pixel 6 series is. The chip is beaten by the Apple A12 Bionic – an SoC from the iPhone XS series that was launched way back in 2018.
The performance comparison was provided by 9lekt on Twitter (via WCCF Tech) and shows that the Tensor scored 1012 and 2760 in single-core and multi-core tests. This is eclipsed by the 1117 and 2932 scores for both the parameters by the Apple A12 Bionic.
Google Pixel 6 Pro (2021) vs iPhone XS Max (2018) Geekbench result No comment🤐 pic.twitter.com/a11E4EqAhQ
In other words, Apple’s three-year-old silicon has beaten Google’s flagship Tensor at both single-core and multi-core performance. But that’s not all. The Tensor is already slower when compared to the Snapdragon 888 processor found on most 2021 Android flagships, so one can call the situation a double whammy.
However, all this was quite expected considering pre-launch rumors that had revealed Google’s plans to favor efficiency over performance with the Tensor. Also, benchmark results only convey half of the story and are in no way an indicator for real-world performance. It is software optimization that matters the most, and Google’s implementation of Android is known to be one of the snappiest software experiences around.
With Google’s control over both hardware and software, combined with enhancements brought along with Android 12, it is likely that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be matching current flagships in terms of performance.
Moreover, flagship Qualcomm and Mediatek chips are known to overheat on some devices, and Google may thus have sacrificed performance to make the Tensor run cooler and offer better battery life. Although this remains to be seen.
Last but not least, the Tensor has already proven its prowess in the GPU department. It has actually beaten all current Android flagships despite the mediocre CPU performance.
Google may thus have entirely different goals with its new SoC. The California-based company had already shown with its Pixel 6 launch event that Tensor’s main focus is on fast processing of AI and machine learning algorithms. With features such as ultra-fast and efficient voice typing, advanced camera processing, and more, it is clear that Google is working on making smartphone usage smarter than ever. And Tensor plays a great part in making all of it possible.

The smartphone can withstand more than a week with normal usage upon a single full charge. It also bundles some useful accessories and astonishing designs which are well explained in the hands-on video.
As per the video, Ulefone Power Armor 14 offers full protection from the rear and front sides. Its large 6.52-inch waterdrop display is well-protected with a protective film. It bundles an 18W fast charger to charge a 1000mAh battery in just 3 hours using Type-C charging cable. However, the users will get a SIM needle, a user manual, a type-C charging cable, a sling, and a tempered glass screen protector.
The smartphone is powered with MediaTek Helio G35 SoC carrying 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Ulefone Power Armor 14’s powerful cameras are also spotted in the video. It carries a 20MP Sony IMX350 primary sensor, a 2MP macro camera, and a depth sensor to offer a bokeh effect. However, a 16MP Sony IMX481 sits on the front for selfies.
In connectivity, a 2.5MM audio jack and a USB Tyle-C port can be seen clearly in the video. The smartphone also bundles a dual SIM slot, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and a custom key on the left side. The power button encases a fingerprint sensor which helps in easy accessibility. Ulefone Power Armor 14 runs on Android 11 OS.
Over the past few months, we’ve reviewed many in-ear headphones with active noise cancellation. It’s not often that we review a wireless headset with active noise cancellation.
But this time we have an opportunity to introduce you to a budget option with active noise cancellation: The SuperEQ S1.
The SuperEQ S1 comes in a very fancy-looking box. Compared to its vibrant packaging, the inside is pretty plain and clean. In addition to the headphones and manual, there is a 3.5mm Audio Cable, a USB Charging Cable, an Airplane adapter, and a good quality Carrying Bag inside.
Take out the headset and at first glance, we can tell that it’s a pretty portable headset. It’s foldable and can be stored without occupying much space in your backpack. This is definitely good news for people who travel a lot. Expand the headset, and we will see its full appearance. The overall look is not much different from other ordinary headsets. The biggest difference is that two acoustic holes were opened on both the earcups for achieving better noise-canceling.
The SuperEQ S1 comes in 2 color versions. No matter for the black variant or the white, the wireless headset uses a red clashing design on the inside of the headband, and the SuperEQ Slogan is marked on the sides of the headband in blue font. The top of the ear cups are made of metal with a matte finish, which feels pretty premium. Overall, except for using one of the most popular headset designs, there’s not much special about its design. But because the S1 is targeted at the budget market, the appearance still can stand out among other budget competitors.
1 of 5
During our limited experience, we found that the SuperEQ S1 does a good job in terms of wearing comfort. The foam of the ear cups use delicate leather material and offers a good fit for the ears. It feels pretty soft and can just cover my ears without squeezing them much. And there’s no problem in wearing it for a long time. The retractable headband is also user-friendly with an adequate length, so there’s nothing to worry about whether it can fit your head well. But there’s still a small drawback. The headband can become loose when adjusting the length, but once worn, the headset would keep its position firmly.
There are four buttons on the side and a single button to control ANC, and three control buttons at the bottom of the right earcup. The middle one is the power button with a pairing function, the other two are for volume control and switching songs. And the headset also supports wired uses with the 3.5mm headphone jack. But unfortunately, its charging port is still Macro USB rather than the more popular Type-C port.
SuperEQ S1 supports AAC Bluetooth encoding, and the overall sound quality is pretty impressive. The headphone pays special attention to the heavy bass. When listening to pop music, we found that the vocal sounds are relatively low, and high frequencies are not exactly bright. But listening to rock music with more percussion instruments is much more enjoyable. The bass is really full and strong. When switching ANC on, it’s obvious that the noise could be reduced a lot. It also had a relatively good performance when dealing with wind noise. But if we just look at the noise reduction strength, the maximum noise reduction strength of 33db is still a bit weaker than those premium headsets. But if you cannot tolerate the annoying pressure coming from the strong ANC feature, the S1 does have a good balance between wearing comfort and the noise-canceling effect. In addition, once you wear it for listening to music, basically the S1’s ANC effect can also provide a clean sound environment for you.
At 60% volume setting, it can play music for 45 hours continuously. That is, even if you listen to music for five hours a day, it will be able to last for a few more days, and there’s no need to charge it frequently. Such achievement of battery life is what those ANC earbuds cannot be compared to. If you are more concerned about battery life, the SuperEQ S1 could be a really good option.
In short, as a new model in the affordable market, it performs pretty well. Like those premium options, the SuperEQ S1 also has a foldable design, active noise cancellation, and a good battery life performance. And it supports both wired and wireless use. If you can live with its limited shortcomings, such as the Micro USB charging port, it won’t disappoint you for such an affordable price.
Last month, Lenovo quietly launched an Android tablet called Lenovo Tab K10 in India. A few weeks later, the Chinese tech giant has now introduced an enterprise edition of this product in the country.
Lenovo Tab K10 Enterprise Customizable
According to a report by MySmartPrice, Lenovo has launched a customizable enterprise tablet in India. This slate is nothing but a Lenovo Tab K10 with customization options.
The Lenovo Tab K10 is similar to the recently launched Motorola Moto Tab G20, which itself is a rebadged Lenovo Tab M8 3rd Gen. The only major differences between the Tab K10 and Tab G20 are display and connectivity.
The former has a 10.3-inch FHD (1920 x 1200 pixels) canvas and arrives with LTE connectivity. On the other hand, the latter features an 8-inch HD (1280 x 800) screen without LTE.
Taking about the new ‘customizable enterprise’ edition, businesses can avail it in either battery or battery-less version. Also, unlike the consumer model, the enterprise variant does not have an LTE option.
Whereas, other features remain the same as regular retailer units. However, businesses can customize it as they like. Lenovo says that it provides customized solutions for retail, manufacturing, banking and finance, education, etc.
As far as price is concerned, the enterprise edition of Lenovo Tab K10 starts at ₹15,999, while the consumer model starts at ₹13,999 with half the storage.

Meizu’s official Weibo account on Monday announced that the Meizu POP3 TWS will be released tomorrow. The announcement post said that the earpods will be paying a tribute to the “national quintessence.”
The post further contains an image of two oval pieces. These are said to be the inspiration behind the design of the earbuds themselves, which will likely be thin and round. If that’s untrue, then it’s likely that the oval pieces are actually meant to depict the ‘stem’ of the earbuds alone that will house the batteries.
The Meizu POP3 TWS earbuds will also likely be lighter than their predecessors if past release patterns are to go by. The first generation of Meizu POP true wireless earphones was born in April 2018 and weighed 5.8g. Subsequent releases have seen a reduction in weight with the Meizu POP2 weighing 5.4g followed by the Meizu POP2s at just 5.1g.
Meizu POP 2s
The Meizu POP3 earbuds will also come with a “no tail” design like its past iterations and will hence favor a rounded design over a cylindrical stem.
Meizu had earlier launched the Meizu POP Pro TWS earbuds at the beginning of the year with the ANC (active noise cancellation) feature. These had 10mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, IPX5 rating, three-microphone intelligent call noise reduction algorithm, and were claimed to provide 20 hours of music playback.
And as for a global launch of the Meizu POP3 earbuds, there isn’t any news as of yet but there could be an announcement soon. The POP2 had cost 299 yuan (~$45) and similar pricing can be expected from the POP3 as well.
The renders of the upcoming Apple MacBook Air has just been leaked. These renders reveal that the next generation MacBook Air model features an extremely thin design, especially for its display frame.
The new renders were shared by Jon Prosser and Ian Zelbo that also added that the new MacBook Air will apparently be arriving sometime in early 2022. Furthermore, the Cueprtino based giant is reportedly planning on including the new notched display design to its cheaper laptop model as well. As of right now, this notched display can be found in the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 that were launched recently.
Furthermore, the leak showcased that the company will also be adopting white bezels for the MacBook Air, which is a color that has not been seen since the 2010s MacBooks that adopted a polycarbonate build. Despite having narrow bezels on the sides, the chin is still quite noticeable. Prosser and Zelbo added that the MacBook Air will feature MagSafe 3 support as well as dual Thunderbolt 4 and a 3,5mm audio jack for ports.
Although, the leaked design showcase an almost impossibly thin design that looks barely wide enough for an audio jack. In other words, we can also expect the laptop not featuring a full sized keyboard either. Zelbo claims to have seen a prototype model, which is what the renders are based on. Under the hood, the new MacBook Air features is expected to feature the Apple M2 chipset and will likely arrive in multiple color variants as well.
Husban has just launched the new Zino Mini drone. This is the third product released by the company this year. It is a lightweight and compact drone, with the company’s tagline for it stating that it aims to “let more people fly.”
The Zino Mini weigh just 249 grams and sports a 1/1.3 inch CMOS sensor that is capable of shooting at 4K resolution at 30 fps. Although, this video will be streamed to the paired smartphone at just 1080p resolution. Furthermore, the Zino Mini can fly for up to 40 minutes, or for 10 kilometers, on a single full charge from its 3,000mAh battery pack. Notably, the drone also features an AI tracking mode that can accurately locate moving people, vehicles, or animals and even offers a night time mode that uses an algorithm to optimize recordings made in low light.
The drone is available in two storage configurations, namely a 64GB or 128GB internal storage versions that can be expanded via a microSD card slot. A major difference between Husban’s newly launched Zino Mini and the Zino Mini Pro is the obstacle detection feature, with the latter offering three sensors on the sides while the Zino Mini only offers on downward facing sensor.
On the other hand, the Zino MINI SE is an even more affordable drone from the brand but its skips even more features like the obstacle avoidance entirely. The Zino Mini will be available for a price of 459 US Dollars, although, Husban has yet to release the product in the market or revealed when it the product will actually be hitting online or offline shelves.
OPPO introduced the Pro+ model in the Reno lineup with the 5th generation. The first device was called OPPO Reno5 Pro+, which was later followed by OPPO Reno6 Pro+. Now, according to a reliable leaker, there may not be an OPPO Reno7 Pro+.
OPPO Reno6 Pro+
We have been hearing about the OPPO Reno7 series for the past few days from the same source – Digital Chat Station. The tipster now suggests that the 7th gen Reno family may not include a Pro+ model.
The leaker says that the prototypes of vanilla and Pro variants are much better than their predecessor. They have improvements in both display and camera departments.
Above all, he hasn’t heard about the Pro+ variant yet. Hence, he thinks that OPPO Reno7 Pro+ may not exist after all.
Anyway, we would advise you to consider this information with a pinch of salt. That’s because we are still days away from the launch of the OPPO Reno7 series.
As per previous leaks, the regular OPPO Reno7 will be similar to its predecessor in terms of design with a metal frame and a punch-hole at the top left corner of the screen. It will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor that measures 1/1.56” in size and a notification LED ring around the camera.
Lastly, an unreliable source tipped that OPPO Reno7, OPPO Reno7 Pro, and OPPO Reno7 Pro+ will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920, MediaTek Dimensity 1200, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 respectively.
iQOO is reportedly working on two news phones namely, the iQOO 9 and iQOO Neo5s smartphone. Some reports have claimed that the latter could be called iQOO Neo6. A Chinese tipster has claimed that the iQOO Neo phone will break cover by mid-November.
A couple of iQOO phones have been recently appeared at certification sites. The handset with model number V2154A was spotted at the 3C certification site with a 66W fast charger. Another model with a V2136GA model number was spotted at the TENAA certification site with full specs.
The tipster who tipped the November arrival of the next iQOO Neo phone claimed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. It will be sporting a BOE supplied curved edge screen powered by a new generation of independent display chip. It will include liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation. Its battery will be larger than the previous generation iQOO Neo phone.
iQOO Neo5
In addition, it will come with a 66W fast charger, which in turn suggests that the V2154A model debut with the Neo5s moniker. The handset is yet to appear at TENAA with full specifications.
Other reports have claimed that the iQOO Neo5s will come with a 6.56-inch OLED 120Hz panel and a 4,500mAh battery. It may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and an OIS-ready 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary snapper. It is also expected to arrive with dual speakers and a linear motor. The Neo5s may come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Apart from that, the report also mentions launching the iQOO 9 series smartphones after the Vivo NEX series phone launch. This one too with be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC.
While details about the next-generation Vivo NEX smartphone has not been revealed by the company, the recently certified model V2102A, powered by SD898 chipset and having 44W fast charging support, was believed to be it. However, the phone is now expected to arrive as a Y-series phone with the Y71T moniker.
Previously, we reported that the next-generation NEX series smartphone, the successor of the NEX 3 from Vivo, won’t be called NEX 5. Instead, the device is likely to be called Vivo NEX Fold given that it will be a foldable smartphone. While the exact launch date is not yet known, we expect to know more about it in the coming weeks.
As for the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, it will be manufactured using the Samsung 4nm process with a new architecture and Adreno 730 GPU. The company is also expected to launch another variant of the same, manufactured by TSMC at a later date.
