Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Leaked: Brand’s Most Affordable Device Yet?

Nothing could soon expand its lineup with a new budget-friendly device. A fresh leak has revealed that a Nothing Phone (3a) Lite might be in the works. After the launch of the flagship Nothing Phone (3) model, the company’s CEO and founder Carl Pei stated that the Phone 3 family is complete. But this might not be the case, so here’s what we know.

Is a Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Coming Soon?

The leak arrives from known tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, who exclusively shared the information with Xpertpick. If this news is true, then this is the first smartphone from the company to carry the ‘Lite’ branding. Sudhanshu claims that the Phone (3a) Lite will get a global release, including India, later this year. While finer details like its specs, design, and pricing are still at large, the tipster did confirm black and white color options for this budget phone.

Nothing Phone (3a)
Nothing Phone (3a)

He further adds that it will be available in a single storage configuration, which includes 8GB of RAM and 128Gb of internal storage. As the name suggests, the Phone (3a) Lite is likely the most affordable smartphone from the Phone (3a) series, and should be positioned right below the standard Nothing Phone (3a) model. The pricing might also be closer to Nothing’s CMF Phone 2 Pro model.

Considering its budget price tag, we can also expect some cut down specs on this phone. The Nothing Phone (3a) series received praises for offering a telephoto camera along with the main and ultra wide angle sensors on a budget, but the Lite model might skip this sensor or offer a smaller zoom camera with lower magnification, like the one found in the CMF Phone 2 Pro. This is all the details we have at the moment, so stick around for more. In related news, a Nothing Phone (4a) was recently spotted online.

Vivo’s GaN-based 120W Multi-Port Flash Charging Kit with 1m 9.2A cable hits shelves for just $28

Vivo has quietly released a handy new accessory in China — the 120W Multi-Port Flash Charging Kit — ideal for users who juggle multiple power-hungry devices like a phone and a laptop, especially those who got a phone but no charger in the box.

Now available on Vivo’s official website and major platforms like JD.com, the new charger uses Gallium Nitride (GaN) tech, which means it’s smaller, cooler, and more efficient than traditional bricks. Despite its modest 61 × 61 × 30mm footprint, it can deliver a serious punch — up to 120W in total output.

The kit’s 2C1A design (two USB-C ports and one USB-A) lets you charge three devices at once. What’s clever is how it manages power: once one device reaches full charge, the adapter automatically redistributes power to the others, keeping everything topped up as quickly as possible. Vivo even includes a custom 9.2A dual Type-C cable (about one meter long) with built-in shielding to reduce interference and ensure stable performance.

On the compatibility side, it supports all the usual fast-charging protocols — Vivo’s VFCP, PPS, PD3.0, and QC2.0 — making it useful beyond just Vivo and iQOO phones. All three ports can push up to 11V/8.2A, which translates to over 90W of power delivery. It supports a 200–240V input range.

It’s priced at just 199 yuan, around $28, and anyone looking for a compact multi-port charger to power multiple fast-charging gadgets might find it hard to resist.

Nubia Z80 Ultra camera samples from all three lenses revealed

In the increasingly competitive world of smartphone photography, Nubia is preparing to throw down a wild card. With its launch just around the corner, Nubia’s teasers are promising “natural imaging” and bold hardware upgrades of the Z80 Ultra. But can it truly deliver professional-level results—or will it end up as another flashy experiment?

Nubia has already confirmed the triple-camera setup through its latest teasers. The configuration includes a 35mm main shooter (50MP OV990 sensor, 1/1.3-inch, f/1.7 aperture) paired with a 18mm ultra-wide (1/1.55-inch sensor, f/1.8 aperture), and a 70mm telephoto lens (f/2.4, OIS, up to 50x hybrid zoom via 12x digital crop)

The biggest leap is with the ultra-wide lens, which replaces the Z70S Ultra’s narrower 13mm f/2.0 camera. The larger sensor should capture more light and produce less distortion, aided by an upgraded lens correction algorithm.

The sample images suggest Nubia is prioritizing authenticity over heavy processing. The main 35mm camera shows realistic colors and natural contrast. Some previews, however, appear slightly soft in detail—likely due to compression in teaser posts. Nubia’s sub-brand Red Magic recently released camera samples of its upcoming 11 Pro+, which also tells a similar story.

The 18mm ultra-wide produces balanced tones and reliable white balance in daylight, though its perspective leans more “wide” than “ultra.” Samples from the telephoto camera show strong contrast and clean subject separation with minimal noise.

Telephoto sample with 2x digital crop

Set to debut on October 22 in China, the Z80 Ultra builds on the Z70S Ultra’s design language, retaining its sleek, curved edges and dedicated shutter button that evoke a retro camera feel. Design tweaks are subtle, mostly revolving around a reshaped camera module that keeps the look familiar but refined.

Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, backed by a rumored 7,200mAh battery, which could give it an edge in endurance over rival flagships.

For creators who value an immersive display and camera realism over algorithmic gloss, the Z80 Ultra might just be the sleeper hit to watch this season.

Why iPad Mini is the best tablet for gaming?

In a saturated tablet market filled with oversized slates and underpowered compact models, the iPad mini continues to carve out a unique identity.

Apple’s smallest tablet has become a go-to device for mobile gaming, not because of marketing gimmicks or flashy specs, but because it delivers a consistent, well-rounded experience.

For gamers who prioritize both performance and portability, the iPad mini remains unmatched.

iPad Mini 7

1. Perfect Form Factor

The iPad mini’s 8.3-inch screen delivers a rare balance between size and usability. At just 293 grams (Wi-Fi model), it is light enough to hold for long periods without causing wrist or hand strain.

Unlike the heavier iPad Pro or iPad Air, the mini fits naturally in both portrait and landscape orientations, making it ideal for shooters, strategy games, and racing titles alike.

Its compact build also means it is easy to take anywhere. Whether you’re headed to a cafe, boarding a flight, or commuting on a train, the mini fits into small bags or even larger jacket pockets. Portability is not just a feature. It directly translates to more spontaneous and frequent gameplay.

2. Desktop-Class Performance

The A17 Pro chip powering the 7th-gen iPad mini is the same silicon found in Apple’s top-tier iPhones, delivering serious performance. Its 6-core CPU is 30% faster than the previous generation, and the 5-core GPU brings a 25% boost in graphics output.

Hardware-accelerated ray tracing is also built in, and it is four times faster than software-based solutions. That means richer lighting, better shadows, and more immersive reflections in supported games. Whether you are exploring the world of Genshin Impact or grinding in PUBG Mobile, the iPad mini delivers console-like visuals and stable frame rates. The 16-core Neural Engine also improves gameplay experiences by enabling real-time enhancements and faster in-game processing for AI-related tasks.

3. Display Quality That Matters

The Liquid Retina display on the iPad mini produces sharp visuals at a 2266×1488 resolution with a pixel density of 326 PPI. The panel supports P3 wide color gamut and True Tone, which adjusts the white balance based on ambient lighting. Brightness peaks at 500 nits, making it usable both indoors and outdoors.

This is not just about looking good. Sharp visuals and vibrant colors improve gameplay clarity. You can spot enemies more easily, appreciate world-building details, and enjoy a more immersive experience across all genres.

4. Touch Controls Perfected

The iPad mini’s size gives it a big advantage when it comes to touch controls. Larger tablets often require finger stretches that lead to mis-taps or slower reactions, while phones can feel cramped. On the mini, controls feel natural, whether you are swiping, tapping, or using complex gesture-based mechanics.

The display is also fully compatible with Apple Pencil Pro, expanding possibilities for genres like simulation, drawing-based games, and tactical RPGs that benefit from stylus input.

5. Battery Life for Marathon Sessions

The iPad mini may be small, but it still packs enough battery for up to 10 hours of continuous use. That covers long-haul flights, gaming binges, or cross-country road trips without the constant anxiety of needing to charge. The A17 Pro chip is both powerful and efficient, managing heat and power draw to keep sessions going without throttling performance.

6. Final Thoughts

The iPad mini sits in a sweet spot that no other device truly matches. Phones offer performance but lack immersion. Larger tablets deliver more screen but are less comfortable for long-term handheld use. The mini provides enough screen space for an immersive experience, powerful internals for top-tier gaming, and unmatched portability.

For anyone who takes mobile gaming seriously, the iPad mini is not just another tablet. It is the most practical and consistent gaming tablet available right now.

Pixel 10 series users are facing frequent app crashes since October update

The Google Pixel 10 series was supposed to showcase Google’s best hardware and software yet—but a recent update has turned that promise into frustration for many users. What was meant to fix a lingering display issue has instead triggered widespread app crashes, leaving Pixel owners venting online as Google remains silent.

The October software update was expected to resolve a display glitch that occasionally froze the screen. Instead, reports suggest it introduced a new problem: apps that freeze or crash within seconds of opening. The issue appears to affect Pixel 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL models most severely, though some base model owners have been caught up in the chaos as well.

According to multiple Reddit threads, restarting the phone doesn’t help—users describe a cycle of crashes that makes even basic tasks nearly impossible. For a device known for its clean software and stability, the situation has sparked understandable backlash.

In the absence of an official fix, the Pixel community has been trading temporary workarounds. One user reported success after uninstalling the October updates for Google Play Services and the Play Store, which seemed to stop the crashes—though it comes with a downside: it logs users out of their Google accounts. Anyone attempting this should make sure a passkey or recovery option is saved on another device first.

Another potential workaround involves clearing the cache for Google Play Services (Settings → Apps → Google Play Services → Storage → Clear Cache). It’s not a guaranteed fix, but some users say it restores partial stability.

So far, Google hasn’t issued a statement or patch addressing the issue, leaving users to troubleshoot on their own. Those who haven’t yet installed the October update are being advised to wait it out until a stable fix arrives.

For Google, the timing couldn’t be worse—its flagship line is still fresh, and user confidence is a key part of its identity. Unless a quick update resolves the crashes, the Pixel 10 series could find its reputation for reliability under real strain.

Casio Oceanus Launches “Calm Night” Limited Edition Watches Inspired by Moonlight

Casio has announced two new models in its Oceanus Manta line, the OCW-S7000CN-1AJF and OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR. Both are inspired by the calm and quiet of a moonlit night and feature hand-cut sapphire glass bezels made using traditional Edo Kiriko craftsmanship. The watches use black DLC-coated titanium cases and bands, combining durability with a premium finish.

OCW-S7000CN-1AJF

The OCW-S7000CN-1AJF features a sapphire glass bezel with precise, hand-cut lines crafted by Edo Kiriko artisan Toru Horiguchi. The pattern, known as “Thousand Lines,” captures reflections similar to the light of the moon on a calm sea. Each cut is made by hand on hard sapphire glass, which requires long hours of grinding and finishing.

Casio OCW-S7000CN-1A

The design theme “Calm Night” is expressed through an all-black titanium body and a bezel that reflects a subtle blue depending on the viewing angle. The dial has a textured matte surface inspired by the unevenness of the moon’s surface, giving it a soft, detailed look.

The watch measures 47.5 × 42.8 × 9.8 mm and weighs 81 g. It includes Bluetooth for smartphone link, MULTIBAND6 radio time correction, and Casio’s Tough Solar power system. Other functions include world time for 27 cities, a 1-second stopwatch, full automatic calendar, and a power-saving mode. It is 10 ATM water-resistant and fitted with a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The indexes and hands feature Neobrite for low-light visibility.

Casio OCW-S7000CN-1A

The titanium band has arrow-shaped links with mirror-polished lines and a slide-adjustment clasp.

OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR

The OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR is a higher-end limited edition with only 600 units worldwide. It uses a sapphire bezel featuring the “Senjiku” pattern, also created by Toru Horiguchi. The bezel has 24 polished facets and a black-silver gradient achieved through vapor deposition, reflecting blue tones under light.

Casio OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR

The dial uses a metal base embossed with textures resembling the moon’s surface, finished with layered plating and paint for depth. The emblem on the case back features a moon motif created through laser processing and DLC coating.

This model introduces Gallium Tough Solar, a solar system derived from satellite technology that improves power generation. It uses a crescent-shaped solar cell under the date window to collect light efficiently.

Casio OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR

The watch measures 47.5 × 43 × 11.7 mm and weighs 99 g. It includes Bluetooth, MULTIBAND6, Tough Solar, and world time for 27 cities. Other features include automatic calendar, stopwatch, power-saving mode, and Neobrite hands. It is water-resistant up to 10 ATM.

The OCW-SG1000CN is made of black DLC-coated titanium with a dual-curved sapphire crystal and slide-adjustment clasp. It comes in a special box with a unique serial number.

Pricing and Availability

Both models will be released in November 2025. The OCW-S7000CN-1AJF is priced at ¥308,000 (about US$2,023), while the OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR retails for ¥682,000 (about US$4,480).

Why You Should Buy an iPhone for Gaming in 2025

Mobile gaming has evolved far beyond casual titles like Candy Crush. In 2025, it’s about console-level visuals, lightning-fast frame rates, and seamless online multiplayer. And if you’re serious about gaming on your phone, there’s a strong case to be made for choosing an iPhone. So here’s why iPhones are worth buying for mobile gaming enthusiasts.

Why you should buy iPhones for gaming
Gaming on the Apple iPhone 17 Pro

1. The Powerhouse Under the Hood

Apple’s A-series chips have consistently dominated mobile performance charts. The latest A19 Pro on the iPhone 17 Pro series continues this impressive legacy, bringing cutting edge CPU and GPU performance. What makes iPhones truly stand out isn’t just raw power, it’s sustained performance. During long gaming sessions, iPhones do get hot but still manage to squeeze out relatively stable frame rate without throttling.

This is especially true with the latest iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max which features a vapor chamber and an aluminum chassis for better thermal management. So titles like Call of Duty Mobile, Genshin Impact, and PUGB New State run at a smooth 120fps, taking advantage of the iPhone’s ProMotion displays. A good sustained performance also helps with a more consistent and hitch-free gameplay experience.

2. Software Optimization

While the hardware in an iPhone can compete with any Android flagship, the software is Apple’s secret weapon. One of the biggest advantage iPhones have is that Apple has complete control over its ecosystem. Unlike Androids, iOS is designed solely around the Cupertino based giant’s smartphone hardware. This doesn’t mean Apple is making all of its components in-house, but most of the parts are custom made for its devices.

So similar to a console, game developers often iOS versions of their titles first, ensuring better performance and stability compared to Android counterparts. In comparison, developing games for Android is somewhat similar to PC gaming due to the various different specs configuration. Meanwhile, there are only select number of iPhones out in the market, which often have similar levels of performance.

Furthermore, Apple’s Metal API also gives developers access to low-level GPU power, enabling console-quality graphics and smooth gameplay. Newer iPhones also offer a lag free experience by combining Game Mode and tighter resource management.

3. AAA Gaming on iPhones

Cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming and NVIDIA GeForce Now have allowed smartphones to turn into handheld gaming platforms. However, this isn’t exclusive to iPhones and Android also enjoys these services. But what is limited to Apple’s devices are native AAA gaming support. Titles like Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake, and Assassin’s Creed Mirage can be played directly from your iPhones. In complete fairness, the experience still isn’t completely immersive yet but it is still quite impressive.

4. Battery Life

Gaming takes a toll on any smartphone’s battery, but the latest iPhones are getting surprisingly resilient. With efficient chipsets and advanced thermal management, the iPhone 17 Pros can easily handle long gaming sessions without overheating. Apple’s iPhones also tend to hold up better over the years, making them great long term investments.

Vivo X300 Pro launches with 200MP periscope telephoto, V3+ & VS1 imaging chips, and Dimensity 9500

Vivo is heating up the flagship race with the X300 Pro, a serious contender powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500. What’s interesting is that while the phone has just launched in China, global importers like Giztop have already started selling it for under $1,000 — and a global launch is rumored for next month. For anyone after a photography-focused flagship that doesn’t compromise on performance, design, or battery life, this might be one to watch.

The X300 Pro sits at the top of the new X300 lineup (for now), bringing clear upgrades in both design and performance. Inside, it’s powered by the Dimensity 9500 chip, which promises smooth handling of gaming, AI tasks, and everyday workloads. The phone weighs 226g and measures 161.98 × 75.48 × 7.99mm, packing a hefty 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. It’s built to last through long days without a power outlet in sight.

The real highlight, though, is the camera setup — a showcase of Zeiss-tuned optics. The main shooter is a 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor (1/1.28″, f/1.57, 24mm equivalent), paired with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide (1/2.76″) and a 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto (1/1.4″) for detailed zoom shots. On the front sits another 50MP JN1 sensor (with autofocus) for selfies and video calls. Together, they push Vivo’s imaging game to new heights, especially in dynamic range and portrait processing.

Up front, there’s a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1–120Hz refresh rate, 1,260 × 2,800 resolution, and 1.1mm equilateral bezels, ensuring fluid and immersive visuals whether you’re gaming or streaming.

Pricing and availability:

Pricing starts at CNY 5,299 (~$743) for the 12GB + 256GB model and goes up to CNY 6,699 (~$939) for 16GB + 1TB. A premium version with satellite connectivity and a Photographer Kit costs CNY 8,299 (~$1,164). The phone will hit the shelves in the home country on October 17.

Retailers like Giztop ($939) already have imports in stock, running OriginOS 6 (Chinese variant) with Google Play pre-installed — though features like Wear OS pairing reportedly aren’t supported yet.

A global launch is expected in November. If import pricing holds steady, the X300 Pro could easily become one of the best-value flagships of 2025.
