Just last week, OnePlus released OxygenOS Open Beta 1 update for the OnePlus 8T. But the brand has already started rolling out OxygenOs Open Beta 2 for this handset. The former update was all about optimizations, whereas the new build brings a ton of fixes.

Last year, Lenovo launched a single flagship Android tablet called Lenovo Tab P11 Pro. This product is also sold as Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro in China. A few months after its release, the company is now teasing another such high-end Android tablet.
Settings page of upcoming Snapdragon 870-powered Lenovo Android tablet | Source: Lin Lin (Weibo)
Earlier today, Lenovo Notebook Product Manager Lin Lin posted a ‘Settings’ page screenshot of an upcoming Lenovo tablet. The picture reveals some of the key specs of this product.
According to the image, the yet-to-release Lenovo tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. This chipset will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. We can expect other storage configurations as well.
As for software, the tablet will run ZUI 12.5 based on Android 11. It will also have support for ‘Lenovo One’, which is similar to HUAWEI Multi-Screen Collaboration and Xiaomi Device Control.
Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro
Unfortunately, nothing else is known about this tablet, including its launch date. Since the screenshot shows the security patch level to be January 2021, there’s a chance that the product could be still in the last stage of testing.
That said, this new tablet could be a better option for heavy users than the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro aka Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro. Because though the latter has some great features like a 2K OLED HDR display with Dolby Vision and JBL quad-speaker, it comes with a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC.
ZTE is pretty excited about its soon-to-be-announced ZTE S30 Pro phone. As part of its campaign, it has been releasing in bits key specs of the device. The latest post from the manufacturer reveals the phone’s battery capacity as well as the supported fast charging technology.
According to a post on its Weibo account, the ZTE S30 Pro will have a 4200mAh battery capacity. The phone will also support 55W fast wired charging just like the Red Magic 5G and Red Magic 5S. Owners should be able to charge the phone from empty to full in under an hour.
The ZTE S30 Pro is shaping up to be an interesting device. It has been confirmed that it will have an OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. It will also have a 44MP selfie camera and a 64MP quad rear camera array. We also expect it to be the first phone to run ZTE’s new MyOS which should be based on Android 11 out of the box.
There are still some details that are not yet known such as the screen size, the processor, RAM, storage capacity, and of course, the price. Notwithstanding, we expect some of these details to be officially revealed by ZTE before the March 30 launch date.
Alongside the phone, ZTE is also expected to announce a new smartwatch called the ZTE Watch GT. Sadly, we don’t know anything about what it looks like and what its specs are.
The POCO X3 Pro is a flagship killer smartphone scheduled to launch on March 22. Ahead of the launch, the full specs of the phone have become public, thanks to a listing on an official Xiaomi store.
As posted on Twitter by the user @chunvn888, the official Xiaomi store on the Vietnamese e-commerce platform, Shopee, already listed the device ahead of its launch on Monday, and it contains all specs and even includes the price.
POCO X3 Pro specs
The POCO X3 Pro has a 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ display with a centered punch hole. It is an IPS display covered in a sheet of Gorilla Glass 6 and it has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor.
The 7nm chipset is clocked at 2.96GHz with a Kryo 485 octa-core CPU and an Adreno 640 GPU. The listing mentions the device has LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus which should help keep things cool when running intensive tasks. While most manufacturers are churning out 5G phones these days, the POCO X3 Pro caters to markets where 5G is not yet mainstream or available yet with its 4G modem.
It will be available in two RAM configurations – 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM – with 128GB and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage respectively. A MicroSD card slot allows for storage expansion of up to an additional 1TB.
For cameras, the POCO X3 Pro has four on the back – a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide angle camera, and two 2MP cameras. You get a 20MP camera in front for selfies and video calls. The phone has dual speakers, Hi-Res audio, an audio jack, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
POCO ships the phone with a 5160mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging via USB-C. The POCO X3 Pro weighs 215 grams and is 9.4 millimeters thick. The listing says it will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.
POCO X3 Pro Price
Only the 8GB RAM version has a price tag and it is VND 7,990,000 which converts to about $348. The 6GB+128GB version is expected to be priced under $300. The phone will be available in Black, Blue, and Yellow Copper, and it will go on sale on March 27.
Chinese automaker Geely who also owns Volvo and has a minority stake at Daimler AG is planning to launch a new brand of Electric Vehicles (EV). According to a report by Reuters, the new premium EVs would be produced under a soon-to-be-established subsidiary called Lingling Technologies. The report attributed to inside sources is said to be the brand’s effort to tackle Tesla’s rapid growth in China’s premium EV market.
The new premium EV brand is named Zeekr and is primed to compete with global EV leader Tesla Inc. The Zeekr brand of EVs, according to Geely, will be driven by an alternative marketing strategy from the norm, as Geely plans to do without any dealerships, aiming to sell its cars directly to customers at a fixed and uniform price across all its hubs or sales locations.
The Zeekr brand will be based on the open-source EV chassis called Sustainable Experience Architecture. The growing interest of Chinese automakers in expanding EV production reflects the widespread acceptance of the Chinese government’s policy of encouraging the use of alternatives to fossil fuels in addition to a growing demand for electric cars in mainland China. The surge in EV purchases in the world’s largest auto market has seen Tesla making progress in establishing a foothold in the Chinese market.
The plan of having direct sales to its customers is aimed at establishing a more compelling relationship with its customers, as well as reducing the cost of the cars. In addition, Geely also has several other services like providing lifestyle lines for shopping and creating a car owners’ club among others. Also, in its plans to provide a tailor-made customer experience that would also be long-lasting, Geely plans a share ownership scheme for Lingling Technologies that would afford Zeekr car owners the opportunity to have a stake in the company.
In recent months, Geely has signed a flurry of agreements with various service providers as it continues to position itself to offer EV production capability. There has not been any definitive statement from Geely yet on the matter at this time.
OnePlus will officially announce the OnePlus 9 series on March 23 and along with the flagship series will arrive the OnePlus Watch, the brand’s first smartwatch. Ahead of the event, the OnePlus Watch is already listed for pre-order on Jingdong. The listing which targets potential buyers in China will be available upon payment of 50 yuan (~$7) which will result in a deduction of 100 yuan (~$15) from the final price whenever the device goes on sale.
The Jingdong product page sadly doesn’t reveal any further details of the device apart from the official teasers that have been shared earlier by OnePlus. The specs page, however, shows that the wearable device will come with Bluetooth and GPS. We’ll still have to wait until the launch to find out more.
However, the renders of the OnePlus Watch appeared on Twitter earlier today, thanks to Unbox Therapy. This is our first look at the watch’s entire design. The smartwatch is expected to be available in a 46mm dial size. It is said to come in Silver and Black color options even though the teasers have only shown the Black variant consistently.
In addition, noted tipster Ishan Agarwal disclosed recently that the OnePlus Watch will feature support for heart-rate monitoring, and Blood Oxygen monitoring (SpO2 sensor). It is also expected to come with regular fitness tracking features like sleep tracking, stress levels, automatic workout detection, and a host of other features.
The watch which will have an IP68 waterproof rating will also arrive with support for call notifications and can be used to control the OnePlus TV. You also get 4GB of internal storage that can be used to store your favorite songs which makes this a fitting companion while out jogging or during workouts.
Xiaomi already released several flagships this year. Some are top-tier flagships, others are more affordable since they bring lower-end specifications to the market while still keeping a great hardware department. If you are looking for a high-end Xiaomi phone with a very high value for money in China, you can choose between the K series by Redmi and the Mi series by Xiaomi. This is a comparison between the specifications of the latest devices from these series sold in the same price segment: Xiaomi Mi 10S and Redmi K40 Pro.

Design
If you desire a beautiful phone then your choice should be the Xiaomi Mi 10S. Thanks to its curved edge-to-edge display and its higher screen-to-body ratio, it looks more elegant and futuristic than Redmi K40 Pro. The latter has a flat display with thicker bezels and, despite it comes with a rear side very similar to the original Mi 11, it looks less attractive due to the front panel. On the other hand, the Redmi K40 Pro offers the IP53 certification which guarantees resistance against dust and splashes. Further, it is thinner and lighter than the Xiaomi Mi 10S.
Display
The most advanced display is the one of the Redmi K40 Pro. It is an AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, the HDR10+ certification, and a Full HD+ resolution. Compared to the Xiaomi Mi 10S, it has a higher refresh rate (up to 120 Hz) and a higher peak brightness (up to 1300 nits). These are the main specifications making this display superior to the internal rival. Both the screens have an in-display fingerprint scanner, but as mentioned above, only the Xiaomi Mi 10S has a curved display, while Redmi K40 Pro is flat.
Specs & Software
With the Redmi K40 Pro, you actually get a stronger hardware department: the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform instead of the lower-end Snapdragon 870 found on the Xiaomi Mi 10S. While the Snapdragon 888 is Qualcomm’s flagship SoC for 2021, the Snapdragon 870 is an upgrade of the Snapdragon 865+. The Xiaomi Mi 10S has a memory configuration with more RAM (up to 12 GB), but the processor is definitely more important. Both the phones run Android 11 customized by MIUI 12.
Camera
If you are looking for the best camera phone, the answer is Xiaomi Mi 10S. First of all, it has a better main camera: a 108 MP sensor with a bright f/1.7 focal aperture and OIS. Further, with the Mi 10S, you get a better ultrawide sensor with a 13 MP resolution. The Redmi K40 Pro has a better 5 MP macro camera, but it comes with an inferior 64 MP main sensor without OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. There is no challenge: the Mi 10S is a camera phone close to the high-end segment, while its rival has a midrange-class camera.
As mentioned in the design paragraph, the Xiaomi Mi 10S is thicker and heavier. There is a reason for this: it packs a bigger 4780 mAh battery. That is the reason why it provides a longer battery life. Further, unlike the Redmi K40 Pro, it supports fast wireless charging with a power of 30W and reverse wireless charging. The Redmi K40 Pro, instead, only comes with 33W wired fast charging.
Price
Xiaomi Mi 10S is priced at about $670/€562 in its base variant, while Redmi K40 Pro costs just $580/€487. The Xiaomi Mi 10S has an inferior display and an inferior processor than Redmi K40 Pro, but it is actually a superior phone because it packs better cameras, wireless charging (reverse wireless charging too), a bigger 4780 mAh battery, and a more beautiful design with a curved display. However, if you do not care about these features such as gamers, Redmi K40 Pro can let you save money while still keeping the same user experience. If you are a gamer, indeed, you would most likely be happier with a more powerful processor and a display with a higher refresh rate.
Xiaomi Mi 10S vs Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro: PRO and CONS
Last year, TECNO released a total of four smartphones in the TECNO CAMON 16 series. These devices are TECNO CAMON 16, TECNO CAMON 16 Pro, TECNO CAMON 16 Premier, and TECNO CAMON 16 S. The brand is expected to launch the successor series TECNO CAMON 17 this year. Ahead of its official announcement, one of the models in the lineup has been spotted on Google Play Console revealing some of its specs as well as design.
TECNO CAMON 17 | Source: Google Play Console
The standard TECNO CAMON 17 has been listed on Google Play Console. The listing exposes the phone to arrive with a punch-hole (top left corner) display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels (HD+) and 320 DPI.
Further, the handset will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G70 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. As for software, it will run Android 11 out of the box. We can expect this smartphone to come with the brand’s HIOS Android skin.
As per the listing, this device will come with model number CG6j. Turns out we have already reported on this phone when it was certified by FCC in February.
TECNO CG6j (TECNO CAMON 17) | Source: FCC
According to Federal Communications Commission, the upcoming TECNO CAMON 17 will have a vertically-aligned camera setup on the back, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone.
We mentioned it to be backed by a 4,900mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging in our previous coverage. But now, we think that this phone could have a 5,000mAh battery (typical) because 4,900mAh could be the battery’s rated capacity.
Last but not least, the TECNO CAMON 17 will measure 165 x 76 x 8mm in dimensions.
In late February, at the Redmi K40 series launch event, Redmi announced its first Pro series laptops called RedmiBook Pro 14 and RedmiBook Pro 15. We even reviewed the former model last week on our YouTube channel. Now, the brand’s parent company Xiaomi teases its 2021 Pro laptop.
1 of 3
The official Mi Notebook Weibo account has shared three teaser posters along with some texts. These images give us the first glimpse of the upcoming Mi Notebook Pro 2021’s design as well as its retail box.
While posting the first teaser poster, which shows the laptop’s lid with Xiaomi branding, the company said that it has been 1,282 days since the first-ever Mi Notebook Pro laptop was released on September 11, 2017.
Further, while sharing the second poster that includes the forthcoming laptop’s minimal retail box in white color, the brand revealed that this new high-end Mi Notebook will be new inside-out and will be amazing.
Lastly, the third teaser poster confirms that the Mi Notebook Pro 2021 will be slim and the company even asked the public to guess its thickness. However, despite being thin, the laptop will still feature a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port on the left side.
Unfortunately, we don’t get to see the right side in this picture, which we believe will include more ports. That said, we expect Xiaomi to tease more specs of this laptop before its official launch in the near future.
Xiaomi was first reported to have got a foldable phone in the works in 2019 and since then, several teasers and leaks have emerged featuring the purported device. Just yesterday, a device said to be the foldable phone was spotted on the 3C website. In a related development, alleged spy photos of the Mi foldable phone have been spotted on Weibo.
Xiaomi foldable Mi Mix
The photos seem to have been pulled down but a tipster Nils Ahrensmeier from TechnikNews was able to grab some shots and posted them on Twitter. The photos bear semblance with earlier photos that leaked earlier this year. The images tout a design similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The new images give a look at the rear aspect which shows the presence of the “Mix” branding.
In line with the design of the Xiaomi foldable spotted in multiple leaks, the foldable Mi Mix will utilize an in-folding design just like the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Recall that Huawei just shifted to an in-folding design on the recently launched Mate X2.
In addition to the “Mix” branding, the device is also shown to come with a triple-camera setup at the rear stacked in a vertical orientation.
Unfortunately, the internal screen of the foldable phone wasn’t featured in the leak and so we can’t tell how it looks like. However, we doubt if there will be a selfie camera at the front. What we can say is that the company may have found a better way to deal with the crease as per a recently leaked patent.
We can’t say when the Chinese tech giant will release this model. Xiaomi last launched a model under the MIX series in 2019 when the Mi Mix 3 was unveiled. Since then, the Mix Alpha concept model was unveiled. However, the company is reportedly planning to launch foldable models this year.

Regarding the specs, we already know that the device has a 64MP main sensor on the back. This report further says that the other two sensors are 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront, there is a 16MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.
Other specs include a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 2480×1080 pixels, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, SA/NSA 5G connectivity, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, Wi-Fi 5GHz, and Bluetooth 5.1
The device also seems to have a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, and run Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. With everything out, I guess we only have to wait for the pricing on March 22.

That said, OnePlus has so far only updated three of its devices (OnePlus 8 series, OnePlus Nord) to Android 11 (OxygenOS 11). Whereas, four other models (OnePlus 7 and 7T series) are currently receiving Open Beta builds.
OnePlus confirmed that it is bringing its first Smartwatch, the OnePlus Watch alongside the OnePlus 9 flagships on March 23. Today, popular Unbox Therapy has revealed the official render and it looks a lot like the forbidden fruit OPPO Watch RX.
Looking at the image shared by Unbox Therapy on Twitter, we see the straps having textured patterns as shown in previous teasers. The watch dial is round and it isn’t surprising after seeing designs on the GPTO. However, what is surprising is that it looks more like the OPPO Watch RX and this was already denoted in an earlier leak.
For the unware, OPPO revealed the OPPO Watch RX briefly but it never went on sale as promised. The company had said that the smartwatch would launch in Blue, Black, and Gold colors and come with a 1.28-inch AMOLED round display.
Cut back to the OnePlus Watch render, we see a similar round-shaped display and two buttons(one has ‘OnePlus’ logo on it) on the sides like the OPPO Watch RX. Now, keep in mind that we aren’t firmly saying it would be the exact same watch but there is a possibility that it will have a lot of similarities.
There’s a lot of things going on with OnePlus and OPPO lately. The companies whose majority of shares are with OPlus(Oujia Holdings Ltd.,) have already merged their hardware R&D department and the latest rumors point to a software merger with the OnePlus 9 series in China.
It could have been easier for us to put forward the resemblance had OPPO launched the Watch RX. Either way, the OnePlus Watch is said to launch in Silver and Black colors according to Ishan Agarwal.
The OnePlus Watch also looks to have an AMOLED display however, the always-on isn’t confirmed yet. As for the features, it is said to support heart-rate(PPG) and Blood Oxygen monitoring(SpO2 sensor), in addition to sleep and stress monitoring, 4GB storage, IP68-rating, Warp Charge technology & more.
The smartwatch also would have options to answer phone calls, control media, serve as a remote for OnePlus TVs. Let’s wait for a few days to know the official pricing.

Motorola has been updating its flagships with Android 11 OS lately. Latest one to get it was the Motorola razr 5G. Today is the turn for the Motorola Edge smartphone.
As per a post on a Telegram group(via Piunikaweb), the Dual-SIM model of the standard Motorola Edge with a model number XT2063-3-DS is getting an OTA update in Brazil. This update has a firmware version RPD31.Q4U-39-26-4 and a size of about 2.3GB.
Although there are a lot of devices yet to be updated to the Android 11 according to Motorola’s list, it’s better late than never for the older flagships. In line with that, the Motorola Edge is now getting the latest OS features and it should include the latest security patch as well.
Do note that the update is for Brazil and the Dual-SIM variant, so the users in other regions should wait till the company itself expands the OTA to the respective markets. Motorola began the Android 11 rollout surprisingly with the Motorola G Pro.
Later it brought to devices like the Motorola Edge+(Verizon), Moto G8 & G8 Power. Coming back, the Motorola Edge, which launched last year with Android 10 out of the box, is getting its first major Android upgrade.
That said, we aren’t sure it would get the next Android 12 upgrade like the Edge+ as it has a mid-range Snapdragon 765G chipset. Either way, if you are someone living in Brazil, you can check if your device has got the Android 11 update from Settings > System > Advanced > System update.

Now, as per a 3C certification, the Chinese telecom giant may soon release a high-end monitor. This upcoming Huawei monitor with codename HSN will ship with a 135W adapter with model number HW-200675CD1.
Going by this monitor’s power input capacity, the blogger who shared it on Weibo suggests it to be a high-end model. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about this monitor except for the fact that it is manufacture by BOE (Hefei BOE Vision-electronic Technology Co, Ltd.)
HUAWEI Smart Screen S Pro 65-inch
At the same time, a new Huawei smart TV has been certified by 3C, as per the same blogger. The listing reveals that this television with model number HD75FREA will have a 75-inch LED-backlit LCD panel and will be manufactured by Changhong (Sichuan Changhong Electric Co., Ltd.).
The blogger implies that this TV could be a part of a new series codenamed Frea. Because Huawei’s S, V, and X series of smart televisions are codenamed Kant, Hege, and Plato respectively.
That said, Huawei is yet to officially tease and announce the launch date of the above-mentioned two products.
Right from the day LG teased the Rollable smartphone, it has been in the news frequently. After drifting between reports of the project getting halted and back to life, here we are with a new Bluetooth SIG listing.
An LG smartphone with a model number LM-R910N appears on the Bluetooth certification website. It mentions the name of this device as ‘LG Rollable‘. The qualified design for this also seems to be an end product and will feature Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.
LG broke the news of a new Rollable smartphone briefly at the LG Wing launch. Then, it came out with a product video and showcased the design back at CES 2021. However, soon after this, LG got struck with a new controversy.
Reports said that LG will soon be quitting the mobile business and with it, the LG rollable will also be halted. That said, thanks to a company spokesman’s statement, the hopes of the smartphone making its way to the retail markets are still on.
Anyway, apart from the name and Bluetooth info, the listing doesn’t reveal any crucial information. Speaking of which, the specs regarding the LG Rollable are minimal right now. However, it should be the second device under the LG Explorer project termed as ‘Project B’ courtesy of earlier reports.
Regarding the launch, few rumors say that the company has pushed the timeline from Q1 to Q3 of 2021(July-September) but lets for official info.
