Leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A36, shared by Evan Blass, confirm that the device closely resembles the upcoming Galaxy A56. Both models feature a camera island design, moving away from the individual lens cutouts seen on the A35 and A55. The leaks also reveal four color options, though some shades appear nearly identical.
Display, Camera, and Performance
The Galaxy A36 and A56 are expected to feature 6.6-inch OLED displays with vibrant visuals. Both will likely include a 50MP primary camera, but details on the A36’s other two rear sensors remain unclear.
The A36 is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, while the A56 is expected to use the Exynos 1580. Both phones will reportedly have 5,000mAh batteries with 45W fast charging.
Comparison to the Galaxy A35
The Galaxy A35, its predecessor, launched with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display (120Hz) and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection. It featured the Exynos 1380 chip, 50MP main camera with OIS, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and a 13MP front camera. Other key features included IP67 water resistance, under-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and Android 14 with One UI 6.1. Samsung promised four OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
Launch Timeline
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy A36, A56, and possibly the A26 in mid-March. The A36 is confirmed for the US market, but the A56’s US availability remains uncertain.

Tesla’s sales are off to a rough start in 2025, with significant declines in key global markets. Despite launching the Cybertruck, the company has struggled to maintain demand. Sales data from various regions, including California, Europe, and China, show a downward trend, even in areas where Tesla once dominated the electric vehicle (EV) market.
Tesla’s decline in California
California, the largest EV market in the U.S., saw Tesla’s sales drop by 11.6% year-over-year in 2024. While the state’s overall EV market share remained steady at 25.3%, Tesla was a major reason for the market’s decline. Other brands saw a 1.4% increase in sales, while Tesla’s numbers fell.
The Model 3 was hit hardest, with registrations declining by nearly 30,000 units from 2023. The Model Y also saw a drop of over 4,000 units. The Cybertruck became California’s top-selling electric pickup but recorded only 9,019 registrations, a figure lower than expected.
European Market
Tesla is losing ground in Europe as well. In Germany, sales dropped 60% in January 2025, with only 1,277 vehicles registered. Tesla also lost its long-held position as the top EV brand, as Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, and Chinese brands gained market share. In France, Tesla’s sales plummeted by 63% year-over-year in January. Despite an increase in EV adoption, the UK market also saw Tesla’s sales decline by 8%.
Elon Musk
China sales fall as market shifts
China, which accounts for one-third of Tesla’s global sales, saw an 11.5% drop in sales in January 2025. The decline is partly attributed to the seasonal slowdown caused by the Chinese Spring Festival and production adjustments at Tesla’s Shanghai Gigafactory. However, growing competition from local Chinese EV brands is also a factor in Tesla’s struggles.
Reasons behind Tesla’s decline
Several factors are contributing to Tesla’s falling sales. Increased competition from traditional automakers and Chinese EV manufacturers is eroding Tesla’s dominance. The company also lacks a presence in key segments like three-row SUVs, a growing category in the EV market.
In Europe, the end of EV subsidies in some countries has led to a slowdown in demand. There are growing calls for an EU-wide subsidy program to counter rising Chinese EV imports.
Political controversies impact sales
Elon Musk’s political involvement is also seen as a factor affecting Tesla’s reputation. Accusations of hacking into the U.S. A report from the Nonpartisan EV Politics Project indicates that Tesla is losing Democratic-leaning buyers who traditionally support EV adoption faster than it is gaining conservative buyers.
Stock market and future outlook
Tesla’s stock initially surged following the U.S. election due to investor optimism over Musk’s ties to Donald Trump. However, as sales reports revealed a decline, stock prices have since declined.
The company’s next major test is the launch of the refreshed Model Y. While a successful release could help recover sales, there are concerns that Musk’s personal controversies may overshadow Tesla’s product offerings. If consumer perception continues to shift, even a strong Model Y update may not be enough to reverse Tesla’s fortunes.
Tesla’s rough start to 2025 highlights the challenges the company faces in a rapidly evolving EV market. With increased competition, changing market conditions, and Musk’s political controversies, Tesla’s future remains uncertain.

The iPhone 17 Pro is still months away from launch, but leaks about its design overhaul are circulating for some time now. Early leaks claim Apple might rearrange the rear camera layout, but new 3D renders from Jon Prosser hint at a more dramatic change — a wide “camera bar” spanning the back of the device.
In the latest video on his Front Page Tech channel, Prosser shared renders of the iPhone 17 Pro based on insider information. The images show that the company may not change the camera layout, instead will keep the familiar triple-camera arrangement—just within a much wider bump.
A design more like Poco phones?
The redesigned module stretches across the rear, with the three lenses still positioned on the left, while the LED flash, microphone, and LiDAR sensor shift to the right. The bar itself appears taller than earlier renders suggested, giving the phone a distinctly different profile.
Visually, the design feels reminiscent of Xiaomi’s budget-focused Poco phones. And if these renders hold up, it’s hard to be excited about what looks like an uninspired shift in Apple’s design language.
Prosser also refutes earlier rumors that suggested a two-tone finish for the Pro models’ back panel. Instead, he says Apple will maintain a single-color rear panel, with the camera bar finished in a darker shade to create visual contrast.
Another notable detail from the report is that the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be lighter than its predecessor, though there’s no information yet on what material changes might be responsible for this reduction in weight.
Of course, as with all leaks, there’s reason to be cautious. While Prosser has been accurate in the past, he has also shared product renders that didn’t pan out. Still, the repeated mentions of a camera bar across different leaks suggest that Apple is at least experimenting with a new look for its Pro models.
Samsung‘s 2025 flagship lineup is already a hot topic, and next-gen upgrades have already started fueling the conversation. Rumors hint at some major changes in the Galaxy S25 series, one of which is the battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra mockup (modified image of S25 Ultra)
One of the recent leaks suggests that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature a massive 7,000mAh battery—2,000mAh more than this year’s model. That’s a bold claim considering the upgrades we have seen in recent years.
Meanwhile, it’s been a while since Chinese smartphone brands have shifted to silicon-carbon battery technology. It offers higher energy density, allowing for much larger battery capacities within the same physical space. As a result, 6,000mAh batteries have practically become the baseline for many Chinese smartphone makers.
Samsung may not join the race too soon
But will Samsung really join this battery race so soon? Well, tipster @PandaFlashPro says no.
“I’ll delete my Twitter account if Samsung gives the Galaxy S26 Ultra a 7000mAh or even a 6000mAh battery I bet. Based on my Five Sources, the internal Samsung Test Lab only seem to have a Capacity of Max 5500mAh not more,” he claims.
The US smartphone market follows a completely different strategy compared to China. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if Samsung adopts silicon anode battery tech but only slightly increases the battery capacity, or simply sticks with its current technology for a few more years. After all, as long as Apple isn’t adopting the tech, Samsung doesn’t feel much pressure in most markets outside China.
However, it’s also worth noting that Samsung has lately been leaning toward slimmer phone designs once again. It released the relatively slimmer Galaxy Z Fold SE last year, teased the Galaxy S25 Edge this year (speculated to be the slimmest Galaxy S ever made), and is also rumored to be working on a relatively slimmer Z Fold – the upcoming Z Fold 7. The brand may leverage the benefits of Si/C batty tech to make the devices thinner while maintaining or slightly raising the battery capacity. Although there isn’t a report or rumor to back this as of now.
Vivo’s first half of 2025 for the Chinese market will see the arrival of the Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X200S. The brand is also said to be working on the Vivo X Fold 4 foldable phone, which may launch around mid-2025. The last quarter of this year is expected to see the arrival of the X300 lineup. A new leak by well-known tipster Digital Chat Station reveals that the product strategy for the X300 lineup may include four models.
Vivo X300 series’ product strategy tipped
Vivo X300 series models tipped
The above leak is about Vivo’s flagship series, the X300 series. The machine-translated text reveals that the lineup will include two lower models and two top models, hinting that the lineup may comprise the Vivo X300, X300 Pro Mini, X300 Pro, and X300 Ultra.
The lower-end models, likely the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro Mini, are tipped to feature flat displays, whereas the company may adopt larger quad-curved screens for the higher-end variants, namely, the X300 Pro and X300 Ultra.
DCS added that the reason behind offering smaller models with flat displays and larger ones with curved screens is mainly due to hardware constraints and internal component arrangement. The tipster also mentions that the 200-megapixel periscope camera with a large sensor is too big to fit into smaller devices, indicating that only the higher-end models will feature it.
The above leak contradicts DCS’ previous leak that claimed that suggested that the lineup will have three models, such as Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Pro, and X300 Ultra. The leak suggested that the X300 would not have a 6.7-inch screen like the X200 but would be a smaller model equipped with a 6.31-inch display like the X200 Pro Mini.
Readers should note that the exact monikers of Vivo’s next-generation X-series flagships are not known, and the above-mentioned ones are just tentative names. Therefore, it is advisable to take the above report with a pinch of salt.
The Vivo X300 series is expected to launch in October this year. Except for the Ultra variant, all other models are likely to feature the next-generation Dimensity 9500 chip. As for the Ultra edition, it may debut in the first half of 2026 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip onboard.

Samsung updated its Galaxy S series in January, and now it’s time for the A-series to get the same treatment. While the company likely has more A-series phones in the pipeline, we know for sure that the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56 are making their debut soon.
So far, we’ve seen official-looking renders of the A36 and A56, and now the A26 has joined the mix. The latest leak comes from X tipster Arsène Lupin, revealing a familiar Samsung design choice.
A notch display—again
For some reason, Samsung is still sticking with notched displays for its A2x and lower-tier models. The Galaxy A26 follows suit, featuring a waterdrop-style notch and a noticeable chin at the bottom.
On the back, though, the A26 looks more in line with the A36 and A56. The cameras now sit in a pill-shaped module instead of separate rings, and the panel remains flat. We can also spot the Key Island design on the right edge, while it will be available in white, black, and mint green color variants.
What to expect
According to a previous report, the Galaxy A26 5G will feature a 6.64- or 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Physically, the phone is said to measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7 mm and weigh 209 grams, giving it a slightly larger but slim and lightweight build. This is slimmer than the 8.3 mm predecessor, which weighs 197g. It might debut with a 5000mAh battery.
Speaking of software, the Galaxy A26 5G will come with Android 15 out of the box, offering some of the latest features and security improvements from Samsung and Google. The launch of the Galaxy A26 should be imminent, as it’s already over a year since the launch of the predecessor.

Qualcomm is expected to unveil the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset in October of this year. Like last year, a slew Chinese flagship phones equipped with the new SD8E2 chip are expected to launch in the last quarter of this year. Likely, the Xiaomi 16 series could be among the first adopters of the new chip. Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is also expected to unveil the Redmi K90 series by the end of this year. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, reveals that the K90 could be equipped with a new custom-made chipset.
Redmi K90 series’ chipsets tipped
Over the past few years, Redmi’s K-series flagships for the Chinese market have followed a pattern of featuring two models: a standard and a Pro variant, powered by the previous Snapdragon flagship and the latest Snapdragon flagship chip, respectively.
For instance, the Redmi K70 series, which launched in 2023, included the K70 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2—originally introduced in 2022—and the K70 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which debuted in 2023. Similarly, last year’s Redmi K80 and K80 Pro were equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively.
Following this trend, the rumor mill has speculated that the upcoming Redmi K90 may feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the K90 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. However, the latest leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests a different story.
A recent Weibo post by Digital Chat Station suggests that the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming SM8845 and SM8850 chipsets.
The SM8850 is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the SM8845 is a custom-designed 3nm+ chip, developed by Qualcomm in collaboration with Redmi. According to DCS, this chipset features a fully custom architecture and is designed to deliver benchmark scores comparable to the Snapdragon 8 Elite (SM8750). However, its real-world performance remains uncertain.
Additionally, the tipster indicates that the chipset selection for the Redmi K90 series is focused on price positioning, prioritising affordability over raw performance. Speaking of price, a recent leak by the same source revealed that the K90 series may arrive with a price hike. It is speculated that the Pro could be priced between 4,000 Yuan (~$550) and 5,000 Yuan (~$685).

What’s new in Android 16?
We’ve already gotten a sneak peek with Android 16 Beta 2, and one of the coolest features is the hybrid auto-exposure mode for the camera. Basically, you can now mix manual and auto exposure settings when taking photos. No more choosing between full manual or full auto—it will offer the best of both worlds.
There’s also fine color temperature and tint adjustments, which will give you way more control over white balance. If you’re into mobile photography, this is a game-changer.
Oh, and let’s not forget motion photos—a combo of still images and short videos with audio. Developers can now use intent actions to decide where these motion photos are saved, which opens up a ton of possibilities for apps.
Overall, Android 16 is shaping up to be an exciting update, especially if you’re into photography or media. We will likely get more insights into Android 16 as we inch closer to the official announcement.

Smartphone cases have evolved from simple protective covers to statement pieces that showcase personality, humor, and even luxury. With a range of cases available that blend unique aesthetics with practicality, there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for something beyond the ordinary, here are five of the weirdest yet most intriguing iPhone cases you can get your hands on.
1. Gamebaby Controller Case
Retro gaming enthusiasts will love the Gamebaby Controller Case, which transforms the iPhone 16 into a nostalgic handheld gaming console. Designed to resemble a classic Game Boy, this case doesn’t just look like a blast from the past, it also features actual tactile buttons that allow you to play retro-style games. While it adds some bulk to the device, the added functionality makes it a worthwhile conversation starter.
The Gamebaby Controller Case features a detachable lower section with tactile buttons that overlay the touchscreen, providing a retro gaming experience without requiring a built-in battery, screen, or pre-installed games. If you want to turn your phone into a gaming device while keeping it protected, this is a perfect choice.
2. 3D Kawaii Phone Cases
For fans of cute and quirky accessories, 3D Kawaii Phone Cases are a must-have. These cases often feature oversized cartoon characters, plush designs, or even interactive elements like tiny moving parts. Some designs include adorable animals, exaggerated facial expressions, or even food-themed cases like a boba tea cup or a giant smiling avocado.
One downside of these cases is that they can be quite bulky, making it harder to fit your iPhone into tight pockets. Additionally, depending on the design, they may not offer the most practical grip. However, if you love playful and eye-catching accessories, this type of case is perfect for you.
3. Casetify Ultra Bounce Case
Casetify is known for its durable yet stylish cases, but the Ultra Bounce Case takes things to the next level with an almost absurd level of protection. This case is designed to withstand extreme drops, featuring reinforced edges that resemble small airbags for your phone.
The Ultra Bounce Case is engineered to absorb impact from falls of up to 10 feet or more. While it provides unparalleled protection, its chunky design makes it one of the strangest-looking cases on the market. If you’re someone prone to dropping your phone, this case will serve you well. However, be prepared for the added bulk, which makes it significantly larger than a typical case.
4. Alter Ego Titanium Case
For those who appreciate high-end, futuristic designs, the Alter Ego Titanium Case is a luxury case that looks straight out of a sci-fi movie. Made from aerospace-grade titanium, this case is not only incredibly strong but also boasts a robotic, mechanical aesthetic that turns your iPhone into something resembling Iron Man’s armor.
This case is often priced in the premium range, making it one of the more expensive weird cases on this list. Additionally, because of its metal build, it can interfere with wireless charging. However, if you want a case that screams high-tech and avant-garde, the Alter Ego Titanium Case is the way to go.
5. Nomad Modern Leather Folio
At first glance, the Nomad Modern Leather Folio might not seem as weird as the other cases on this list. However, it stands out because of its unconventional blend of classic aesthetics and modern smartphone functionality. The folio design allows you to store credit cards and cash inside the case, effectively turning your phone into a minimalist wallet.
Unlike traditional bulky wallet cases, this one is crafted from high-quality Horween leather that develops a unique patina over time. While it’s not as flashy as the Gamebaby Case or as rugged as the Ultra Bounce, it’s still an oddity in today’s tech world, where most cases lean towards slim and modern designs. If you’re looking for an elegant yet slightly unconventional iPhone case, this one is a great pick.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has confirmed that a new product launch is set for Feb. 19, sparking speculation about what’s coming. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this announcement is expected to introduce the next-generation iPhone SE, potentially called the iPhone SE 4. The upcoming model is said to bring major design and hardware upgrades over its predecessor.
The shift to this design also means the phone will include Face ID for the first time, replacing the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Additionally, it is rumoured to introduce a USB-C port, aligning with EU regulations.
Under the hood, the iPhone SE 4 is said to be powered by the A18 chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 16 series, paired with 8GB of RAM. This enables support for Apple Intelligence, bringing AI-powered features like enhanced Siri interactions, smarter text suggestions, and advanced photo editing. Reports suggest Apple will also equip the device with its in-house 5G modem instead of relying on Qualcomm.
The new SE model is likely to include a 48-megapixel main camera, a significant upgrade from the previous 12-megapixel sensor, while the front camera is expected to be a 12-megapixel shooter. Unlike flagship iPhones, it will not feature an ultra-wide lens.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced at $499, putting it in direct competition with Google’s upcoming Pixel 9a, which is expected to launch a month later. Apple aims to target budget-conscious consumers, particularly in markets like the US, Canada, China, and India. The Feb. 19 launch even may also see the arrival of other products, such as the M4 MacBook Air, M3 iPad Air, and iPad 11.

The brand has also confirmed that the device is equipped with other features, such as an Alert Slider and an up to IPX9-rated waterproof chassis. According to reports, the PKH120 variant, which has satellite communication support, will be available in a single 16GB+1TB configuration. On the other hand, the regular version will be available in 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB variants.
How the Find N5 differs from the Find N3
Compared to the Find N3, the Find N5 introduces several enhancements. The outer display has increased from 6.31 inches to 6.62 inches, while the inner display has grown from 7.82 inches to 8.12 inches, offering a more immersive experience. The chipset has been upgraded from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, delivering improved performance. While the camera setup sees a reduction in certain areas, the overall hardware package, including a larger 5,600mAh battery (up from 4,805mAh), makes the Find N5 a comprehensive upgrade over its predecessor.
For those who don’t know, the Oppo Find N5 and Watch X2 are set to launch in China as well as Southeast Asian markets on Feb. 20. The N5 will be offered in three colour options: Dusk Purple, Jade White, and Satin Black.

Remember the Galaxy A06 that launched in India last year? Overall, the phone was a solid choice for its price, but there was one big letdown—there was no 5G. Well, it looks like Samsung is listening to its customers. They’re reportedly launching the Galaxy A06 5G in India “soon”.
What’s new in the 5G model?
First off, the display is getting a nice upgrade – 90Hz refresh rate. While the display size and resolution remains the same (6.7″, 720p), the standard 60Hz refresh rate gets an upgrade. That means smoother scrolling compared to the 4G model.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a step up from the Helio G85 in the original A06. This should make the phone faster and more efficient, and offer better performance in gaming and multitasking.
The Galaxy A06 5G will run on Android 15-based One UI 7.0. And here’s the best part: it’s promised four OS upgrades and four years of security updates. That’s double the support of the 4G model, making this phone a much better long-term investment. And yes, it’s got 5G!
Other features:
On the camera front, you’re looking at a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor on the back, plus an 8MP selfie camera – the same as last year. Storage and RAM options also remains unchanged: 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM.
The phone will also come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos-enhanced audio, and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance. It’ll be available in three colors: Blue Black, Light Gray, and Light Green.
The Galaxy A06 5G isn’t just about adding 5G. It’s got a faster processor, a smoother display, and better software support.
Let’s talk about ASUS’s latest mini PC, the NUC 15 Pro. This little guy is attracting significant attention with its AI performance, which hits as high as 99 TOPS (that’s Tera Operations Per Second). It’s powered by Intel’s latest Arrow Lake-H and Raptor Lake-H/U chips.
Specs and features:
The NUC 15 Pro is no slouch when it comes to specs. The top-tier model uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H CPU, which is paired with up to 96GB of DDR5-6400 memory. That’s enough muscle for multitasking, content creation, and even some serious AI workloads. For storage, you’ve got an M.2 2280 slot and an M.2 2242 slot, which supports up to 4TB SSD.
Although it doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, the integrated Arc 140T iGPU in the high-end model should handle tasks like video editing or casual gaming just fine. But if you’re into heavy gaming or 3D rendering, you might want to look elsewhere.
ASUS didn’t cut corners here. This mini PC comes loaded with ports: dual HDMI 2.0, dual Thunderbolt 4, triple USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2, a USB 2.0, an audio jack, and a 2.5G Ethernet port. Plus, it’s got Bluetooth 5.4 and WiFi 7 for wireless connectivity. This mini PC is ready to work with just about anything you throw at it.
AI performance is where things get really interesting. The Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite offers up to 45 TOPS of AI performance, which is, at least on paper, less than half of what this machine can do. Nonetheless, the user experience still depends on the implementation – taking proper advantage of the hardware.
The NUC 15 Pro comes in two flavors: tall and slim. There’s no difference in performance between the two, so it’s really about which one fits your desk (or your aesthetic) better.
But what about the price?
Here’s the catch—ASUS hasn’t revealed the price yet. Given the specs and features, though, it’s safe to say this mini PC won’t come cheap. But if you’re after a compact powerhouse, the NUC 15 Pro might just be worth the investment.
Nubia has unveiled the world’s first smartphone to feature full-scale DeepSeek AI integration, setting a new milestone in on-device artificial intelligence. According to the company, their current flagship Nubia Z70 Ultra incorporates the DeepSeek model at a system-wide level, eliminating the need for standalone apps while enabling fluid AI-driven interactions.
Unlike traditional AI assistants that rely on cloud processing or require dedicated applications, DeepSeek’s integration in the Z70 Ultra allows users to access its capabilities instantly.
This includes seamless voice assistant functionality and Nebula AI-powered image recognition, which lets users snap a photo to analyze and solve complex problems in real-time. Nubia has also extended its AI ecosystem beyond smartphones, incorporating real-time activation features in its earbuds to enable continuous conversation support. In addition to the Z70 Ultra, other models will soon receive updates.
Beta Update Rolls Out
Ahead of today’s announcement, Nubia had already begun rolling out a beta update to Z70 Ultra users. The 126MB update enhances DeepSeek integration across both the standard and Starry Sky editions, refining voice assistant capabilities and optimizing Future Mode, which now defaults to enabling Nebula AI.
Additional refinements include adjustments to the search bar’s position, fixes for app search redirections, and improvements to the screen assistant’s UI behavior. The update also resolves memory leaks in the Nebula Gravity system, addressing stability concerns.
DeepSeek Gains Momentum
Nubia isn’t the only brand looking to embed DeepSeek at the core of its devices. Other Chinese manufacturers are reportedly developing similar integrations, while Samsung is rumored to be exploring DeepSeek AI for its Galaxy smartphones in China.
According to leaker Ice Universe, this move could position DeepSeek as a regional alternative to Google’s Gemini AI, enhancing One UI with localized AI-driven features. Beyond functionality, Samsung’s adoption could also help the company navigate China’s regulatory landscape and compete more effectively with AI-heavy rivals like Huawei. While Samsung has yet to confirm its plans, DeepSeek’s growing adoption suggests it could soon become a standard feature in Chinese-market smartphones.

Motorola‘s efforts to revamp its software support are hitting a snag with its Android 15 rollout. Despite promising faster, long-term updates, the latest OS version is causing widespread glitches, and even the fixes are introducing new problems.
Edge 50 Fusion
Users of devices like the Edge 50 Fusion are reporting recurring crashes of the stock launcher, rendering basic navigation nearly impossible. Reddit user KausHere described the issue as constant crashes, even in safe mode. While some found temporary relief using third-party launchers, others, like Lenovo forum user ShyamG, experienced their devices reverting to the buggy default launcher.
Motorola’s response was swift, with patches released within weeks. However, these fixes haven’t been without consequences. While the ThinkPhone 25’s main screen crashes were resolved, the Razr+ 2023 now suffers from a new issue: its cover screen is crashing, effectively “bricking” it, according to Android Authority. This flaw severely impacts the Razr+’s core functionality as a foldable device.
The glitches undermine Motorola’s recent efforts to shed its reputation for inconsistent support. Prior to the Edge 50 Neo’s five-year pledge, devices like the Razr Plus (2023) languished on outdated security patches for months. Since September, however, the brand has delivered updates punctually across its lineup—a sign of structural improvement.
While Motorola’s quick response to bugs is positive, the flawed fixes threaten to damage user trust. As one Razr+ user commented, updates that introduce new problems are worse than waiting for stable ones.
In other news, Motorola has launched the Razr+ Paris Hilton Limited Edition in the U.S. for $1,199.99, available exclusively on motorola.com in limited quantities.
