The Huawei Watch GT 4, which was unveiled globally back in September 2023 has finally made it to India. The brand has only launched the 46mm variant in the Indian market. Here are all the details.

The Watch GT 4 features a circular display with an octagonal stainless steel casing. The Watch has two buttons on the side, one of which is a rotating crown that also acts as the home button. The smartwatch has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 × 466 pixels resolution and 326 PPI pixel density.

It has 32MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, and uses dual-band GNSS for accurate location tracking. It has a claimed battery life of 8 days with regular use, and with AOD turned on, it can last up to 4 days on a single charge. The watch is 5 ATM waterproof and can withstand swims and dives up to 50 meters deep. As for software, the device runs on HarmonyOS 4.0 and is compatible with both iOS (iOS 13.0 or later) & Android (Android 8.0 or later).

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 comes equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling Bluetooth calls directly from the watch. It offers a wide variety of watch faces, including dynamic options like the Blooming face, and even allows users to create their own custom designs.

For fitness enthusiasts, the smartwatch offers over 100 workout modes and features precise route tracking. The smartwatch will feature a silver body, paired with mint green color straps. This will be the first time that the brand will be launching a silver color body for the 41mm model of the Watch GT 4.

With AOD enabled, this model provides 2 days’ worth of battery life, however, with AOD off, you can squeeze up to 7 days of battery life out of it.

The latest Rogbid smartwatch, the Rogbid M6 has been launched and it is a lookalike of the Huawei Watch GT 4. The Rogbid M6 sports a similar design as the Huawei Watch GT4 but is less expensive.

Features

The Rogbid M6 has a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, similar bezels, and comparable watch faces to the Huawei smartwatch. The screen has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels with a maximum brightness of 600 nits. The M6 comes with a decent collection of health and fitness monitoring sensors including blood oxygen, heart rate, and sleep. Rogbid says the new smartwatch can also measure the user’s blood pressure although the device has no medical certification for that purpose. The accuracy of health monitoring metrics measured by the device has not been fully ascertained.

The Rogbid M6 smartwatch supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, allowing the user to connect to a smartphone and receive calls/ notifications. The smartwatch also features NFC and can be used to unlock a smart door. The M6 has voice assistant support and there are also several other standard accessories available on the device. These include weather forecasts, a timer, a calculator, remote camera control, and a phone locating feature.

The Rogbid M6 is equipped with a 300mAh battery that can sustain the device for three days of typical usage. When in standby mode, the Rogbid M6 can last up to 10 days on a full charge. It can be recharged wirelessly and has an IP67 dust and waterproof rating.

As per color options, the Rogbid M6 is currently available in two variants – Moonlight Silver with a brown leather look strap and Classic Black. The Rogbid M6 smartwatch is originally priced at $99.99 but is currently being offered at a discounted price of $49.99.

Huawei has scheduled a launch conference in China for later this month. The company is calling the event Autumn Full-scenario New Product Launch (translated).

Huawei’s annual Autumn launch event for 2023 will take place on September 25. The conference will begin at 2:30 PM GMT+8 and will be live-streamed on leading Chinese video streaming platforms.

According to recent reports that have surfaced online, Huawei’s upcoming Watch GT4 series designs and prices have been leaked.

For those unaware, Huawei is gearing up to launch its wearable device on September 14 in Barcelona. Ahead of its launch, this upcoming wearable series’s designs and expected prices have been leaked online. The watch models are said to come in two sizes, 41mm and 46mm. The rumored details about these two sizes are provided below.

Huawei Watch GT 4 46mm

Huawei Watch GT 4 46mm seems to be built with stainless steel. The outer ring and function key are also made of the same material. The black color gives the device a more sports-wear feel. At the same time, the other color variant provides the device with a formal look. Both variants seem similar to the Huawei Watch GT 3. The GT 4 has a thicker bezel compared to the GT 3.

Huawei Watch GT 4 41mm

Huawei Watch GT 4 41mm is said to come with various types of fitness tracking functions. The watch will have a battery life of around two weeks. It is speculated that the OLED screen of the device is built using a power-saving technology based on the ARM Cortex-M processor that uses RTOS.

Price and Availability

As per a recent report by WinFuture, the Huawei Watch GT 4 series prices will start from 249 euros (~$267) to 399 euros (~$427). This series will be available in European stores at the beginning of October. More news is expected before the launch of the device. So stay tuned.

The event “Wearable Strategy and New Product Launch” is scheduled for September 14, 2023, in Barcelona. The company’s message suggests that the device will be something extraordinary with the slogan Fashion Forward, creating anticipation and excitement among tech enthusiasts.

Huawei Watch GT 4 is expected to launch

The teaser for the upcoming Huawei wearable features an image with a watch dial, hinting at a smartwatch. Weibo tipster @Ark, known for tracking Huawei’s releases, believes the new product might be the long-awaited Huawei Watch GT 4 series.

Adding weight to the speculations, in August, various Huawei smartwatch products, including the Huawei Watch GT 4 (PNX-B19, ARA-B19), received Bluetooth SIG certification. This certification often suggests an upcoming public release for these devices.

The upcoming Huawei smartwatches are anticipated to feature Bluetooth 5.2 technology and run on HarmonyOS 4.0 with firmware version 4.0.0.50 (SP1C00M00).

It’s likely that the Huawei Watch GT 4 will be the highlight of the upcoming event. There’s no indication of a smartphone release though. But we can’t rule out anything after Huawei’s sudden Mate 60 series announcement.
