Oppo Enco X2 Earbuds Now Available in a Golden Color

Today, Oppo launched the new Find N2 foldable series in its home country China. Alongside the premium smartphones, the company also unveiled a bunch of new products, including a new golden color version of the Oppo Enco X2 Earbuds. The hearables initially debuted in Black and White colors back in March. The company also launched the TWS in the Indian market in July.

Oppo Enco X2 golden color variant has been launched in China with a price tag of 999 Yuan, which converts to $143. For reference, the standard color options of the earbuds are available at a price of around $130. The new shade is available for purchase in only China as of now. We are not sure if it will make it to the global market.

To recall, the Oppo Enco X2 buds have been jointly developed with Dynaudio, and specially tuned by international music master Joe Hisaishi. The TWS comes with the new LHDC4.0 technology and has obtained the Hi-Res Audio Wireless Gold Label certification. The standard AAC and SBC audio codecs are supported as well. The earbuds have a coding rate of up to 900kbps and Bluetooth v5.2.

Enco X2 earbuds feature a 38 dB/Pa microphone setup and multiple noise cancellation levels, which include Smart Noise Cancellation, Max Noise Cancellation, Moderate Noise Cancellation, Mild Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Vocal Enhancement. The earbuds are equipped with a triple-core noise reduction chip and three microphones for effective noise cancellation.

The hearables can offer up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge with noise cancellation off. They can last up to 40 hours with the charging case. Using maximum noise cancellation and a 50% volume level, the Enco X2 can deliver up to 5.5 hours of playback on a single charge, and 22 hours using the charging case.

OPPO has been launching a lot of mobile accessories along with mid-range and premium smartphones in the market. Now, the company is set to introduce new color options for two of its already-launched accessories.

The company has announced that the OPPO Enco X2 Golden Years and OPPO Watch 3 Series Glacier Gray will be launched in the Chinese market on 15th December, i.e., tomorrow.

The launch of this new version of devices will take place at the OPPO Future Technology Conference 2022, aka OPPO Inno Day 2022, which kicks off today, i.e., on 14th December, and ends tomorrow, on 15th December.

Not just these two new models, the company is also all set to launch its flagship OPPO Find N2 foldable smartphone on 15th December as a successor to the OPPO Find N that was launched earlier this year.

OPPO Enco X2 features a dual driver setup with an 11mm dynamic driver paired with a 6 mm planar diaphragm driver and supports a coding rate of up to 900kbps thanks to Bluetooth 5.2 and the LHDC 4.0 transmission protocol. It features a 38 dB/Pa microphone setup and multiple noise cancellation levels. The TWS earbuds use three microphones with Bone Voiceprint AI to reduce noise during calls and are capable of offering up to 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge.

On the other hand, the OPPO Watch 3 features a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 430 x 372 pixels. It is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 chipset and the company’s own Apollo 4 Plus chip, coupled with 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device runs the ColorOS Watch 5.0 out-of-the-box and is powered by a 400mAh battery, offering four days of battery life.

The OPPO Enco X2 has been announced in India. The premium earbuds have arrived with a price tag of Rs 10,999 (~$138). It succeeds the original Enco X TWS earbuds, which was announced for Rs 9,990 (~$125) in January 2021. As compared to the older model, the Enco X2 comes with a handful of new features, such as longer battery life, better audio performance, support for connecting dual devices, and an improved design. Here I bring to you the unboxing and first hands-on impressions of the Enco X2.

It comes in a fairly large-sized box even though it houses a pebble-shaped Enco X2 case. The inner compartment of the retail box houses some documents on one side, different-sized ear tips and a USB-C cable on the other side. As can be seen in the images, the Enco X2 earbuds have an in-ear design with a protruding stem. As compared to the previous model, the case allows users to place the earbuds in a more convenient manner than before. Also, it comes with an additional charging indicator, which sits next to the USB-C port.

The entire device weighs around 56.4 grams, and each earbud weighs 4.7 grams. I found the earbuds very comfortable to wear for long hours of listening. There is an anti-earwax barrier that prevents earwax from building up inside. It also helps in preventing anti-bacterial growth. As far as build quality is concerned, it has a premium feel. I happened to drop the Enco X2 once by mistake. When it fell, the case opened and one of the earbuds was thrown around 7 meters away. Hence, it is advisable to carefully handle the device.

OPPO claims that the Enco X2 earbuds with the charging case offer up to 40 hours of listening to music. A fully charged Enco X2 lasted me for three days, during which I used it for phone calls and listening to music with ANC on. Each earbud includes a 57mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 566mAh battery. Apart from charging the case over USB-C, it also carries support for wireless charging.

I found that OPPO and Realme devices could instantly detect the Enco X2 when connecting for the first time. However, I had to press the pair button on the case to establish a connection on other smartphones, the iPad Air Pro, and Windows PC.

It supports Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Once paired, I did not experience any connectivity issues. One of its major highlights is that it can be paired with two devices at the same time. The earbuds can automatically detect the audio source and switch to that device.

OPPO has worked with Danish brand Dyanaudio to develop Enco X2’s SuperDBEE coaxial dual driver system, which comprises an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6mm planar diaphragm driver. According to OPPO, the Enco offers a 2x sampling rate and a 2x frequency response range compared to the Enco X. It supports SBC, AAC, and LHDC 4.0 audio codecs.

With ANC on, the Enco X2 successfully managed to block ambient noise. It supports a noise cancellation depth of 45db. The Heytap app can be used to access transparency mode, noise cancellation modes (smart, max, moderate, and mild), five EQ profiles, and personalized noise cancellation. The latter promises customized noise cancellation based on auditory canal structure and earbud fit for different users. For an enhanced listening experience, there is Golden Sound, which analyzes the structure of ear canals to produce a natural audio experience.

With all these features onboard, the Enco X2 does offer an immersive listening experience. However, even though it has a “Dyanaudio Punchy” EQ preset, which promises a better bass experience, I did not find the bass punchy enough.

Each earbud has three highly sensitive microphones, which can recognize voices and cut down on background noise. According to OPPO, the Enco X2 also features a bone voiceprint AI call noise reduction algorithm, which enhances the users’ voice. For me, call quality is one of the important factors in choosing TWS earbuds. The Enco X2 impressed me since some of my call recipients could even recognize that I was talking to them from a somewhat noisy area.

OPPO proudly boasts that the Enco X2 TWS earbuds is the world’s first earphones to come equipped with the Dolby binaural recording feature. Hence, the Enco X2 can be used to record natural and crisp audio.

Users can control the Enco X2 earbuds by squeezing the stem. A single-squeeze can play/pause audio or answer/disconnect calls; a double-press to skip forward, a triple-squeeze to skip back, and a longer-squeeze to switch noise cancellation models. Sliding up or down the stem will increase or lower the volume. While the Enco X2 can be used to summon a voice assistant, I could not find a way to launch Google Assistant or any other voice assistant. When I called out “Ok Google,” I felt that the phone recognized my voice, and not the Enco X2, and launched the voice assistant.

The Enco X2 costs Rs 10,999 (~$138) and comes in Black color apart from the white one shown above. The Enco X2 will go on sale on July 25. It will be available through OPPO India’s online store, Flipkart, and Amazon India.

Earlier today, OPPO launched the Reno 8 series of smartphones in India. Along with the premium mid-range smartphones, the company has also launched its premium earbuds in the country dubbed the OPPO Enco X2. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at its specs and features.

The Enco X2 carries a similar design language to that of the Apple AirPods. It features a dual driver setup with an 11mm dynamic driver paired with a 6 mm planar diaphragm driver. The Enco X2 can support a coding rate of up to 900kbps thanks to Bluetooth 5.2 and the LHDC 4.0 transmission protocol. Additionally, the standard AAC and SBC audio codecs are supported.

Oppo is holding a major launch event in India this week to reveal the company’s latest electronic products for the Indian market, which include its next-generation of Oppo Reno smartphones, wireless earphones and an affordable Android tablet.

Oppo has announced that the company will be launching 3 new product lines at the “OPPOverse” launch event tomorrow. The products aforementioned are respectively the latest Oppo Reno 8 series of mid-range smartphones, the company’s shiniest and newest Oppo Enco X2 wireless ANC earbuds, and a new yet affordable Android tablet from the brand called the Oppo Pad Air.

Oppo Reno 8 Series

The Oppo Reno 8 series is expected to be the highlight of the event. The Oppo Reno 8 series is placed in the mid-range category of devices offered in the brand’s smartphone portfolio. It is the successor to the popular selling Oppo Reno 7 series launched last year.

Oppo will launch two Reno 8 models in the Indian market, the standard Oppo Reno 8, and the Oppo Reno 8 Pro. The former will launch with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC under the hood, while the latter will feature MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX flagship SoC.

However, the MediaTek SoCs are not the only silicon powering the Oppo Reno 8 series. Oppo has revealed that the company’s own in-house developed Marisilicon X NPU will also be present in the Oppo Reno 8 series to bring the camera performance of these smartphones to the next level.

Both smartphones will also sport the flagship 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor in its triple camera setup, which is the same main sensor used in the company’s flagships like the Oppo Find X5 Pro and Oppo Find X3 Pro.

Oppo Enco X2 and Oppo Pad Air

Besides the Reno smartphones, Oppo will also be launching the Oppo Enco X2 and Oppo Pad Air in the Indian market tomorrow as well.

Oppo Enco X2

The Oppo Enco X2 are the company’s latest generation of TWS wireless earbuds which feature active noise cancellation, wireless charging as well as a lightweight and ergonomic design.

The Oppo Enco X2 earbuds were launched earlier in the year in China with an in-ear style construction. Compared to its predecessor, the newer Oppo Enco X2 brings some notable upgrades such as support for Bluetooth 5.2, low latency 94ms Bluetooth transmission, IP54 dust and water resistance, and noise cancellation that can filter out noises of up to 45dB.

When paired with the charging case, the battery life of these earbuds can reach up to 20 hours with ANC on or 27 hours with ANC off. Buyers will also be glad to know that the earbuds support both USB-C wired charging, and Qi Wireless Charging to top up the battery.

Oppo Pad Air

As for the Oppo Pad Air, it is the brand’s first-ever Android tablet in the Indian market. From what we have gathered so far, we know that the Oppo Pad Air will be featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 10.36-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution along with a 7100 mAh battery.

Oppo Enco X2 to launch in India with the Reno 8 series, features ANC support

Oppo is preparing for the upcoming launch event in which it will be officially unveiling the Reno 8 series of smartphones in India. And now, it is also confirmed that the company will also be launching the Enco X2 TWS earbuds alongside the new devices.

For those unaware, the Enco X2 will be the successor to the original Enco X earbuds from last year. It will feature an in ear style design and arrive with support for Bluetooth 5.2. Furthermore, the wireless earphones will also support Bluetooth low latency 94ms dual transmission support and have a 10 meter wireless range. The new earbuds will come with an IP54 dust and water resistance and will weigh just 4.7 grams per bud.

The Chinese brand’s Enco X2 will feature Active Noise Cancellation along with smart dynamic noise reduction, deep noise reduction, moderate noise reduction mild noise reduction, transparency mode, enhanced vocals, and noise reduction off modes. It offers the ANC feature through three microphones and even bone conduction AI call noise reduction as well. The noise cancellation can reach up to 45dB.

For battery life, the Oppo Enco X2 can last for up to 5 hours with ANC turned on and 6.5 hours with ANC turned off. When paired with the charging case, the battery life can reach up to 20 hours with ANC on and 27 hours with ANC off. The charging case can be charged via a USB Type C port as well as a Qi wireless charger. Oppo has already launched the earbud in its home market of China for 999 Yuan (roughly 148 US Dollars) and two color options, namely Mirror Night Black and Frost White.

Oppo Enco X2 Earbuds are one of the best TWS earphones on the market with their immersive-sounding audio and amazing features. The earbuds are Hi-Res Audio certified and have an audio transmission rate of 900kbps thanks to the LHDC codec support. And today Oppo has rolled out a new update that brings LDAC ultra-clear transmission protocol support to the OPPO Enco X2.

Oppo previously announced that it will add LDAC codec support to the Enco X2 on June 8. True to its words, the company has today released a firmware update (Via ITHouse) that will introduce the LDAC codec to the Enco X2 earbuds. The update will allow users with Android 8.0 and above to switch between LDAC and LHDC in the settings.

It is also reported that the first generation Oppo Enco X will start supporting the LHDC 4.0 protocol from June 16, and its maximum bit rate will be increased to 900kbps.

As compared to the OPPO Enco X, the OPPO Enco X2 uses a lighter diaphragm with a thickness of 0.0095mm and a DCCA voice coil with a wire diameter of 0.033mm, greatly reducing vibration system mass and decreasing weight by 31%.

The Oppo Enco X2 has a compelling feature set. For starters, the TWS earbuds come with Dynaudio tuning and are equipped with a SuperDBEE system coaxial dual-driver system. They feature quad magnet planar tweeters and 11mm dynamic drivers with an ultralight diaphragm.

As mentioned above, The new Enco earbuds are certified for wireless Hi-Res Audio, and come with Bluetooth v5.2, along with support for the LHDC 4.0 codec. It has a combined battery life rated at 40-hours of listening. In addition, the earbuds also feature active noise cancellation and dual device pairing.

Oppo announced the Enco X2 TWS earbuds back in February. The earbuds supported Wireless and Reverse charging. Now the company has launched a wired charging edition of the same earbuds at a lower price. The new wired charging Oppo Enco X2 earbuds come with multi-level noise cancellation, a dual-driver setup, and up to 40hr of Playtime.

The Oppo Enco X2 wired charging earbuds are launched at a price of 799 Yuan ($119) which is 100 Yuan cheaper than the wireless charging version launched earlier. However, the functionalities and features are almost the same, let’s take a look at it.

The earbuds come with a dual driver setup with an 11mm dynamic driver paired with a 6 mm planar diaphragm driver. The earbuds adopt the new LHDC4.0 technology and have obtained the Hi-Res Audio Wireless Gold Standard certification.

Each earbud has two built-in noise-cancellation microphones and is also equipped with a triple-core noise-cancellation chip with a 50% increase in computing power. The effective noise reduction bandwidth point can reach up to 4kHz. The earbuds come with IP54 water and dust resistance certification and weigh 56.4 grams.

The Oppo earbuds are said to take around 1 hour to charge completely, while the charging case is claimed to take 90 minutes for a full charge. Interestingly, The Enco X2 can provide up to 2 hours of playtime with just 5 minutes of charge time. It can be charged through its USB Type-C port.

For connectivity, the Enco X2 uses Bluetooth 5.2 with LHDC 4.0 transmission protocol which enables it to support a code rate of up to 900kbps. OPPO Enco X2 ANC Wireless Earbuds Review: Probably the Best OPPO Product in 2022

One of my favorite wireless earbuds series has finally got a new update in the form of the OPPO Enco X2.

Over the past few months, I’ve been using the series’ first-generation model, the OPPO Enco X (our review comparison here) as my primary earbuds on my PC and smartphone. The Enco X had the most stable connection and good sound quality among the ANC earbuds I’ve used so far.

But at the same time, the Enco X also had its set of drawbacks. For example, it didn’t support seamless dual connection for switching audio playback between my PC and phone, which means that every time when I wanted to switch audio between two devices, I had to go to the Bluetooth setting and manually connect to the other device. This can be really frustrating, especially when the rest of the features of the earbuds made it highly recommendable.

But with the introduction of its update, the OPPO Enco X2 has fixed this flaw, and it adds support for dual connection. And after using it for the past few days, I would even go ahead and say that this is most likely OPPO’s best product this year.

The brand seems to have listened to users’ complaints and suggestions after the first generation was a hit, and finally created this upgraded version that makes up for almost all of its shortcomings.

Let’s start first with its design. The Enco X2 continues the classic design of its predecessor with only minor changes. However, most of these changes are pretty important for improving its user experience. For example, the only button on the side of the charging case no longer protrudes and the metal ring around the case has also been removed, which naturally gives the case a better-integrated look. The charging port also gets upgraded with a delicate metal ring for decoration, which makes it look more premium.

And the charging indicator is moved to the bottom, beside the charging port. Some of you might think this is a bad design, however, if you’ve used the Enco X just like me, you would probably end up liking this change. On the first generation, the wireless charging was placed at the side with the Dynaudio logo, however, it’s intuitive to think that the side without the logo is the back that supports wireless charge, so I often mistakenly placed it wrong and couldn’t charge it properly. But on the Enco X2, the wireless charging is placed on the opposite side and finally making it more intuitive. And more importantly, the text of ‘co-created with Dynaudio’ has finally got centered and is inside the frame!

Once you open the case, you will notice that the earbuds placement inside the case has changed to a more common design. I no longer have to take the earbuds off and rotate them 180 degrees to put them back in the right position.

The ear tips have also got upgraded with an anti-germ design, which is certainly good news for users who care about the health of their ear canal.

Another important upgrade is the earbud’s sound performance. With the support of the latest LHDC4.0, the Enco X2’s audio transmission bitrate gets a significant boost from its predecessor’s 500kbps to 900kbps. Meanwhile, it supports up to 96kHz sampling rate for Hi-Res audio.

This level of performance has also helped the earbuds get its Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.

In actual use, we could even use the customized functions such as Golden Sound and Enco Master EQ mode to tweak the output to my personal sound preference. The Golden sound feature will test your hearing with different frequencies and then optimize the personal listening experience for a sharper resolution. And you can also turn on one of the three Enco Master EQ modes based on your personal preference. These three modes can basically be seen as results of the different focus on different frequencies. The Dynaudio Real mode focuses more on the sharper vocals and trebles, while the Dynaudio Punchy mode reproduces a more powerful bass. And the Simple & clear mode is more like a compromise between them.

And here’s an interesting detail that we’d like to mention. When connecting the earbuds with a China-version phone, apart from the three EQ modes we mentioned, there’s another mode tuned by Joe Hisaishi, which, by the way, is my favorite among the four EQ modes. But when connected to an international model, it seems that this mode is hidden, with just three Dynaudio modes available. So if you’re going to use it with a Chinese version, then definitely try out this special mode because you might like it as much as I do. But don’t worry too much about your non-China OPPO phone lacking this mode, because the difference between the Hisaishi mode and the other three is not really significant. Moreover, the Enco X2’s excellent hardware can still bring you great balance and decent dynamic range without perceivable blurred sound stage.

To conclude, the Enco X2 is more like an excellent jack-of-all-trades, and is able to reproduce most music genres with subtle characteristics when applying different EQ modes.

As for its Active noise canceling, the Enco X2 redesigned its algorithm to get up to 45dB noise-canceling. In actual use, it did sound like one of the best ANC performances that we’ve experienced so far, although we have to note that the maximum value couldn’t represent its actual performance, especially when valuing earbuds’ noise-canceling performance at different frequencies.

It has the closest listening experience to the Apple AirPods Pro in terms of low-frequency noise reduction. Even when we turn off the active noise-canceling, its passive noise reduction is still impressive. Apart from four ANC modes, the Enco X2 also includes the option of personalized noise cancellation, which can bring deep noise-canceling effects while reducing ear pressure discomfort.

The Enco X2 also comes with improved anti-wind-noise performance. The updated performance can definitely put the earbuds in the top tier of wind-noise-resistant wireless earbuds.

As for sound latency, the Enco X2 maintains the series’ excellent performance for video playback and gaming. Especially for gaming, there’s almost no perceivable latency.

While bringing so many significant upgrades, it’s pretty surprising that the Enco X2 didn’t get worse in battery life. In my daily use with both LHDC decoding and ANC on, the earbuds were able to last up to 5 hours. Including the charging case, it could provide about 5 additional cycles of use, which is around 30-hour use time in total.

Finally, let me elaborate on my favorite upgrade, the dual-connection feature. Switches between devices are really smooth, and the response is also fast without much latency. And you don’t really need to worry about missing calls on the phone while using it for another device, because the Enco X2’s call connection seems to be always at the highest priority.

So, personally, I find the OPPO Enco X2 as one of the best earbuds on the market. And unsurprisingly, the earbuds are also likely the best OPPO product in 2022. Even when you compare it with any of the wireless earbuds on the market, it doesn’t seem to have any obvious disadvantages.

OPPO Enco X2 premium TWS earbuds with dual drivers, multi-level noise cancelling launched

OPPO, one of the biggest Chinese smartphone manufacturers has just launched its Find X5 Pro and Find X5 flagship smartphones. At this launch event, the tech giant also launched the successor to their premium TWS earbuds dubbed the OPPO Enco X2. The new flagship earbuds come with many improvements over its predecessors, so let’s take a look at all that it has to offer.

OPPO Enco X2 TWS earbuds specs and features

The new top-of-the-line Enco X2 brings a dual driver setup with an 11mm dynamic driver paired with a 6 mm planar diaphragm driver. With the dual driver design, the TWS earbuds make sure you never miss any lows or high notes even while playing bass-heavy music. The Enco X2 uses Bluetooth 5.2 with LHDC 4.0 transmission protocol enabling it to support a code rate of up to 900kbps. It also offers support for the usual AAC and SBC audio codec.

The device has a 38 dBV/Pa microphone setup which offers multiple levels of noise cancellation including Smart Noise Cancellation, Max Noise Cancellation, Moderate Noise Cancellation, Mild Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, and Vocal Enhancement. Three microphones on the Enco X2 use Bone Voiceprint AI to reduce noise during calls.

The Enco X2 can provide up to 2 hours of music playback with just 5 minutes of charge time. The earbuds are claimed to take 1 hour to charge completely, and the charging case is claimed to take 90 minutes for a full charge. It can be charged through its USB Type-C port or wirelessly as it supports Qi wireless charging. The earbuds can also be reverse charged with a smartphone by just placing them on the back of one that supports reverse charging.

The OPPO Enco X2 comes with IP54 water and dust resistance certification and weighs 56.4 grams. Each earbud separately weighs just 4.7 grams.

OPPO has announced that the Enco X2 will debut in Black and White color variants and will be offered at a price of €199 in the European market. The TWS earbuds will be made available in the market around mid-April.

OPPO will hold a global launch event on February 24 where a number of products like the flagship Find X5 Pro phone along with some smartwatches, headphones, and tablets will be announced. Among them will also be the OPPO Enco X2 TWS earbuds, which the company teased today.

The OPPO Enco X2 has been positioned as flagship true wireless earbuds. It has been designed in collaboration with Danish loudspeaker maker Dynaudio and features an in-ear design. The teaser poster from today shows that the earbuds adopt a second-gen coaxial dual-unit sound structure, and supports LHDC 4.0 ultra-clear sound and ultra-wideband deep noise cancellation.

Pete Lau, OPPO’s chief product officer and founder of OnePlus, also promoted the Enco X2 with a post on Weibo that also contained its real-life image. He says that after trying the earbuds out, he ditched all his other audio wearables because they bring along a “breakthrough improvement.”

The attached image shows a design that isn’t too different from the last-gen Enco X2. It appears that OPPO has focused more on the internals this time.

The OPPO Enco X was released back in October 2020 for 999 Yuan (~$158) in China and it’s likely that the Enco X2 will be launched at the same price tag as well.

More OPPO Enco X2 renders leaked ahead of launch

The OPPO Enco X2 is all set to be launched quite soon now, and is actually OPPO’s flagship audio wearable, succeeding the Enco X from 2020. While the earbuds’ complete design had already been exposed thanks to a leak from last month, some newer renders now provide a more detailed look.

Prominent leakster Evan Blass tweeted a high-quality image showing off the OPPO Enco X2 in black and white color options. The overall design isn’t all that different from the original Enco X earbuds but improvements in other departments are expected.

The earbuds sport an in-ear design, with rubberized ear tips, and the case retains the same cobblestone-inspired shape that looks very pocketable.

The above leak is joined by another from Digital Chat Station on Weibo that also talks about some of the features to expect. The post shows the app interface users would see upon connecting the earbuds to an OPPO device too.

The tipster hints that vocals have been enhanced this year on the transparent mode and that the new Dynaudio tuning and noise reduction are “good.” Also revealed was that the Enco X2 earbuds support Hi-Res audio mode and have obtained LHDC certification.

As for the release date, it has been quite some time since the previous-gen Enco X earbuds made their debut back in October 2020, so the Enco X2 may be launched anytime now. A February launch date in China is most expected and a global release should follow afterward.

OPPO‘s upcoming flagship audio wearable has now been exposed thanks to a new leak showing its complete design.

Through a tweet, prominent tipster Ice Universe revealed that the earbuds will be called the OPPO Enco X2 and have been built in collaboration with Danish loudspeaker maker Dynaudio, just as the label on the charging case indicates.

The tipster also says that the OPPO Enco X2 follows a smooth cobblestone appearance that sits well with OPPO’s classic design language.

The shared image reveals a design that isn’t too different from the preceding OPPO Enco X earbuds that also came with a cobblestone-looking case. The earbuds sport rubberized in-ear tips and the coloring of both the case and earbuds appears to be matte.

The leak didn’t mention any of the specs with the flagship earbuds but we expect them to come with improvements across the board, whether it’s the sound quality, ANC capabilities, or battery performance.

As for the release date, it has been quite a while since the preceding Enco X earbuds made their debut back in October 2020, so the Enco X2 may be launched anytime now. A February launch date in China is most expected and a global release should follow not long after.
