The upcoming mid-range smartphones from the Korean giant are making their presence felt every day by appearing on respective public certifications. Following the recent Bluetooth SIG and BIS India listings, both smartphones have made it to Indonesia’s TKDN. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A35 5G also appeared on Korea’s NRRA certification. However, these new certifications fail to impress, as specifications or feature details about the smartphones are missing.

Both Indonesia’s TKDN and South Korea’s NRRA confirm the upcoming launch in their respective countries. Following the past listing on public websites, it seems the Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G are surely going to amplify the competition in the mid-range market, as these are launching globally very soon.

Samsung Galaxy A35 5G and Galaxy A55 5G Leaks and Rumors

Some previous reports and rumors confirm that the Galaxy A35 5G would feature 25W wired fast charging with an EP-TA800 adapter. Further, as per the GeekBench listing, the device scored 697 points in the single-core test and 2,332 points in the multi-core test. It is equipped with the Exynos 1380 SoC and comes with 6GB of RAM. It is expected to run on the Android 14 OS with the One UI custom skin. The front of the device is rumored to feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The back may house a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup.

If we consider the previous year’s launch, then this year also, we expect the launch to be around the end of this quarter.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A55 5G will have 25W wired fast charging, according to TUV Rheinland and 3C certification. Further, it could debut with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate.  The phone could have an AMD GPU and an Exynos 1480 SoC. It might come with a 5,000mAh battery alongside a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera on the rear. The front camera ought to have a 32MP sensor. The smartphone is expected to launch between April and June 2024.

A new gaming smartphone from Asus, the Asus ROG Phone 8, is all set to unveil on January 16, 2024. The smartphone seems to compete with the recently launched Red Magic 9 Pro series and other smartphones in the same market segment if we consider its recently revealed specifications and features. The smartphone Series will launch in three models: ROG Phone 8, ROG Phone 8 Pro, and ROG Phone 8 Ultimate. Besides previous leaks and its appearance on public certifications, the smartphone has surfaced on Indonesia’s TKDN.

The listing confirms its 5G connectivity and the upcoming launch in Indonesia. Some previous reports have already spilled the beans on the device’s design and specifications. Surprisingly, an Asus ROG Tessen Mobile Controller is also coming as part of the ROG Phone 8 accessories.

Asus Rog Phone 8 Series Design and Feature Details (Expected)

Asus Rog Phone 8 and Rog Phone 8 Pro designs are different from their predecessors, as they now bring a prominent camera module along with the RGB logo. The Rog Phone 8 comes with a matte finish on the rear and looks premium, while the Pro variant ships with a glossy back.

Besides design, the ROG Phone 8 Series will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 2500 nits of peak brightness. The smartphones would be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The ROG Phone 8 Pro seems to have a 5,500 mAh battery with 65W charging as per 3C certification. Additionally, the smartphone features an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 5-magnet speaker. It will retail with storage variants including 16/24GB RAM and 512/1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

Both smartphones will ship with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC connectivity options. The standard variant will come with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Coming to the optics, the Pro variant features a 32 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The smartphone measures It measures 163.8 x 76.8 x 8.9mm and weighs 225 grams. However, information about the standard variant dimensions is not yet available.

As per a leak via DCS, the Vivo X100 is expected to come with Sony IMX920 camera sensor and Dimensity 9300 SoC which will launch on November 6. It is expected to bundle a 5100 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Meanwhile, the Vivo X100 Pro is expected to ship with 5400 mAh battery bundling support for 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Now, the brand is apparently gearing up for the launch of the Redmi 12 as the device has made an appearance on Indonesia’s TKDN certification website.

Redmi 12 could launch soon in Indonesia

An upcoming Xiaomi device, identified by the model number 23053RN02A, has been approved by Indonesia’s TKDN authority, as indicated in a screenshot. Although the listing does not reveal the exact model name or any specifications, the model number is similar to the 23053RN02Y/L that was previously spotted in the IMEI database, suggesting that the 23053RN02A could be the Indonesian version of the Redmi 12.

The previous FCC listing of the Redmi 12 has revealed that the device has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In addition to that, it will feature an operating system based on Android 13. Further details are currently unavailable, however, we can take a look at the specs of the Redmi 12C to get an idea of what to expect.

The highly anticipated OnePlus Nord 3 has been making rounds online after being spotted on various leaks and rumors. Now, the latest report has found the upcoming mid range smartphone listed on a certification database, which hints at its imminent launch.

OnePlus Nord 3’s TKDN sighting hints at its near launch

Just earlier this month, the Chinese smartphone maker’s Nord 3 model was spotted on multiple certification platforms like NBTC and TDRA. The latest sighting now arrives from TKDN, which lists the device with the CPH2493 model number. Looking at this listing, the OnePlus Nord 3 will arrive with support for various 5G bands like n1, n3, n5, n48, and n40. Unfortunately, the brand has yet to officially unveil this device, but we do have past rumors do hint at some of its supposed specification.

The Nord 3 is expected to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was announced in China just last month. In other words, the Nord 3 will also sport a tall 6.74 inch AMOLED display that features Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Ace 2V is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC that is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Now, the phone has appeared on Indonseia’s TKDN database alongside the Poco C55. According to TKDN certification, the upcoming Poco C55 smartphone will have the model number 22127PC95G and support 4G connectivity. It is believed to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 12C launched in China.

The POCO X5 GT, on the other hand, is expected to come with 5G connectivity and has been listed with the model number 23049PCD8G. The same model number has also been listed in the Indian BIS certification, suggesting that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo for international markets.

The Vivo X90 series of smartphones was introduced by Vivo in November for the Chinese market. Outside of China, the Vivo X90 series has yet to be introduced. According to leaks and rumors, the Vivo X90 series global launch could happen on January 31.

Now, the Vivo X90 Pro global variant, with the model number V2219 has appeared on NBTC and TKDN certification databases before the rumored launch. Spotted by known tipster Abhishek Yadav, the device bears the model number V2219.

The NBTC and the TKDN certification listings provide little information regarding the future X-series smartphone other than the model number and name. On the other hand, the upcoming Vivo X90 Pro global variant has already been discovered on the EEC certification and Geekbench benchmark databases.

The global model of the Vivo X90 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor and Mali G715 Immortalis MC11 GPU, according to the Geekbench listing. The global model will have a memory option of 12GB and ship with Android 13 already installed.

Realme is working on the Realme 10 series of devices. Last month, the Realme 10 was spotted on a number of certification websites including Geekbench and FCC revealing key specifications. Now, the Realme 10 Pro+ has emerged on multiple databases confirming some details of the device.

Starting off, the device has emerged on the NBTC database. The listing reveals that the device has RMX3686 model number and confirms the Realme 10 Pro+ moniker. The same model number has also appeared on BIS along with TKDN, NBTC, EEC, and Indonesia Telecom certification databases.

A smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 was recently teased by Realme Vice President Madhav Sheth, and it may go on sale by the end of the year. The Realme 10 Pro+ 5G could be the Realme smartphone powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080. According to known tipster Mukul Sharma, the Chinese tech giant’s Xiaomi 12T 5G was spotted on TKDN, which is an Indonesian certification database. This basically implies that the new high end smartphone will likely be launching in the Asian markets soon. In other words, it might be announced for regions like Indonesia or even India. Unfortunately, the database listing does not reveal any finer details regarding the smartphone itself, although, we have previous reports for some rumors specifications.

As per our earlier report, the base 12T 5G model might be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra chipset. On the other hand, the higher end Pro variant is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. We are in the second half of 2020 but POCO is yet to launch the successor (POCO F2) to the original POCO F1 from 2018. Instead, we got POCO X2 (Redmi K30 4G), POCO F2 Pro (Redmi K30 Pro), and POCO M2 Pro. The brand is also expected to unveil an entry-level smartphone called POCO C3 (Redmi 9C). Recently, Angus, the Global Spokesperson of the brand even teased the arrival of a high-refresh-rate device. This handset may have been now spotted on FCC, BIS, and TÜV Rheinland Japan

The FCC listing of a mysterious POCO smartphone with model number M2007J20CG and M2007J20CT is being sheared by multiple tipsters and tech influencers on Twitter. We are not sure of the first person who spotted it. With the help of screenshots shared by @the_tech_guy, even we were able to retrieve it from FCC.

Last week, this very same handset received TKDN and EEC certifications but those did not reveal anything except for the fact that it is a POCO-branded 4G smartphone. Whereas, today’s certification findings not only reveal the battery and charging speed but also the rear design.

According to an FCC document, this upcoming 4G POCO smartphone will run MIUI 12 and will come with BN57 battery and  MDY-12-EA 33W Xiaomi charger. As per Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the device has also received BIS and TÜV Rheinland Japan certifications. The latter even revealed the capacity of the battery to be 5,160mAh.

Another FCC document also exposes the rear design of this forthcoming phone. The sketch reveals the device to sport a 64MP camera setup arranged on a rounded rectangle platform located at the centre. Additionally, a textured line will run along the middle of the back panel with a huge POCO branding at the bottom.

As for other specs, according to a deleted tweet by Aguns (via Abhishek Yadav), this phone will sport an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. That said, the chipset powering it is still a mystery and only that can give us an idea if it will be a mid-range device or a flagship killer.

Though most netizens are claiming it to be POCO X3, there’s a high chance for it to be the long-awaited POCO F2. Why are we saying this? That’s because the design of this handset is original (not a rebranded Redmi device). Since the original POCO F1 is one of the most beloved smartphones in recent years, its successor deserves originality and this mysterious phone delivers it.

Anyway, this is just a speculation from our end. It may even end up us something else as the POCO M2 Pro also has a unique design touch though it is part of Redmi Note 9 family. Maybe, the Redmi variant of this phone will launch later in China. So It could be a rebranded handset too.
