The hardware carries over from the standard HMD 105 4G, so you’re not sacrificing durability or battery life for the school-friendly restrictions. You get a 2.4-inch screen at 240×320 resolution, 64MB of RAM, and 128MB of storage. If that sounds tight, a microSD slot lets you add up to 32GB more.

For connectivity, the phone supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.0, though parents can disable it via parental controls. A USB-C port handles charging, while a 3.5mm headphone jack lets students use traditional wired headphones.

The company’s last proper clamshell arrived more than a year ago, so people who still like the flip-phone form factor have been waiting. A fresh leak now suggests HMD is finally ready to bring that classic design back, with a twist that could make it appeal to more than just traditional feature-phone users.

According to leaker smashx_60, HMD is working on the HMD 2760 Flip 4G. It takes clear inspiration from the Nokia 2760 Flip that came out in 2022. You’re looking at the same dual-display setup: a 2.8″ main LCD on the inside and a 1.77″ cover screen on the outside. There’s a 5MP autofocus rear camera with an LED flash, plus a basic VGA camera on the front.

The big difference is the software. The original Nokia 2760 Flip ran KaiOS 3.1, but this new HMD version is rumored to come with Icon OS 13, which is based on Android 13 Go. HMD Global is preparing to launch three smartphones under its Pulse 2 lineup, according to leaks from smashx_60. Ahead of the launch, the leaker has shared details of the three models in the series, namely the HMD Pulse 2, Pulse 2+ and Pulse 2 Pro.

A recent Geekbench listing confirmed that all three phones across the lineup will use the same processor, which is the Unisoc Tiger T7250. It is a 12nm chip with two Cortex-A75 cores at 1.82GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.61GHz.

The Pulse 2 Pro features the most significant upgrades. Its redesigned rear camera module resembles the iPhone 17 Pro’s wider layout. The phone will launch in green, purple, and black. Camera specifications include a 50MP front sensor, a 50MP main rear camera, and a new 8MP ultrawide lens. The 6.72-inch IPS display offers 1080p+ resolution at 90Hz. RAM options include 6GB and 8GB, paired with 128GB or 256GB storage. A new leak from X user @smashx_60 claims HMD is working on its first computer, a 2-in-1 Chromebook called the HMD (Chrome)Book CS-1 Flip — or just HMD Book CS-1 Flip for short. The “Flip” name points to a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen, similar to the familiar ASUS Chromebook Flip lineup and other convertible machines.

Over the last couple of years, HMD has expanded from basic feature phones into Android tablets and a growing accessories business. But laptops? That’s a first for the Finnish company. Technically, we’ve seen “Nokia” laptops before, like the PureBook models, though those were built by a now-shuttered licensing partner and not by HMD itself. This time, the company finally appears ready to put its own brand into the PC space.

Specs are still mostly a mystery, but the leak suggests the CS-1 Flip will use an Intel processor — interesting since many entry-level Chromebooks rely on ARM-based chips like MediaTek’s Kompanio line.
