The device has appeared on BIS, NBTC, TKDN, and EEC certification databases. The NBTC listing for the upcoming Realme smartphone reveals its name: Realme C33 128GB.

These three phones look very similar if we talk about the design, but there is a better one in this comparison. OnePlus is gearing up to launch the new Buds Pro 2 TWS earphones in China on January 4 alongside the OnePlus 11 flagship. The earbuds have been tuned jointly with Dynaudio and support spatial audio and active noise cancellation. Starting today, the Buds Pro 2 are available for pre-order in China through Jingdong.

NIO has unveiled a new charging system for its EV batteries that delivers ultra-fast 500kW charge. The new charging architecture can recharge an EV from 10-80% in just 12 minutes. This makes charging its EVs to be super-fast, thereby significantly cutting down on idle times. The NIO 500kW charger was part of a raft of products and innovations highlighted during the 2022 NIO Day event.
The new charging architecture will also be available for non-NIO EVs, which is great. It is open to all brands of electric vehicles and it has a maximum current output of 660A. NIO says that the 500kW charging system can charge a vehicle built on the 800V platform at a faster pace than EVs from the 400V platform. It takes up to 20 minutes to achieve 80% charging for 400V EVs and 12 minutes for 800V models.
The ultra-fast charger has a 15.6-inch display and proprietary liquid-cooling technology. This allows the weight of the charging cable to be significantly reduced and users can easily operate it with one hand.
The 500kW charger is among the highest capacity announced for EVs so far. This comes after another Chinese firm, XPeng released a 480kW charging system earlier this year. The XPeng Supercharger has a maximum current output of 670A. It can charge some of the EVs from the XPeng lineup from 0-80% in 15 minutes.
NIO is also expanding the capacity of its swap stations to accommodate up to 408 battery swaps in a day. The expansion will see swap stations operating up to 21 batteries at a time. The new 500kW battery charger and the revamped swap stations will be available in March 2023, according to the Chinese company.

The Annual NIO day celebration was the event that heralded the EC7, as well as a refreshed ES8 SUV. Both models are built from the NIO NT 2.0 platform, with LiDAR and Nvidia Orin hardware. The EC7 and ES8 will get an autonomous driving software suite after their release next year.
The EC7 has an electric rear wing that delivers the lowest drag coefficient of 0.23. NIO claims that the EC7 SUV has the best aerodynamics of any mass-produced EV. The new NIO EV also features a smart dimming panoramic roof, which is also a first for an NIO EV. It can go from 0 to 62mph (100km/h) in 3.8 seconds, thanks to its 480kw dual-motor system.
The refreshed ES8 SUV has a 480kW dual motor that powers the car from 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds. The ES8 is a bit larger than the EC7 and comes with a wheelbase of 3,070mm. The luxurious interior of the vehicle features a five-zone A/C, PanoCamera panoramic digital cockpit, and 7.1 surround sound.
Another highlight of the 2022 NIO day was the unveiling of the automatic battery swap capacity in its EVs. The latest NIO EVs can plan their route and drive autonomously to the swap station and change the battery without any interference from the driver. The EV can then pull away and navigate into the highway again. NIO has already commenced building these battery swap stations in Europe and it expects to break even in 2024.
The NIO EC7 will enter the market in May 2023 with a starting price of $69,830 for the base model with a 75kWh battery. The refreshed ES8 SUV starts at $75,539 for the base version, but deliveries will start in June 2023.
As we edge closer to the Samsung Galaxy S23 series launch, there have been various rumors and leaks regarding the upcoming flagship grade smartphones. Now, a new report has revealed some interesting details about the base Galaxy S23 model.
Apparently, the South Korean tech giant is planning on making various improvements on the Galaxy S23. As per a tipster on Twitter, the Galaxy S23 and even the Galaxy S23+ will sport a new display panel that offers up to 1750 nits of peak brightness, which is higher than the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ that had offered just 1300 nits of brightness. On the other hand, the higher end Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to feature a display that offers a whopping 2000 nits of peak brightness.
Apart from this, The Galaxy S23 Ultra is also expect to be powered by the same 5,000mAh battery pack that is housed in the Galaxy S22 Ultra. This has been a standard since the Galaxy S20 Ultra, which had launched back in 2020. Although the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are expected to get a slight bump in battery sizes, with the former now arriving with a 3,900mAh battery pack while the latter featuring a 4,700mAh battery pack.
However, it seems like the base variant will still retain the rather slow 25W fast charging and the S23+ variant will retain the 45W fast charging similar to the previous generation. But both models will still come with Qi wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare reverse charging feature. Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India has been slashed. It is now cheaper by Rs 1,000. The smartphone debuted in the country in September this year in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations. Both variants have received price cuts. Prior to the price cut, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G 4GB + 64GB was available for Rs 13,999. The 6GB + 128GB option costed Rs 15,999. Now, both models can be purchased at Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999. Customers purchasing from Amazon and Mi.com can avail Rs 750 flat discount via HDFC Bank cards. ICICI cardholders will be eligible for Rs 1,000 instant discount on purchasing from Mi.com.
As for the core specifications, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G features a 6.58-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop notch. There is an 8MP selfie snapper and a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Internally, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G runs on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 layered on the top. Xiaomi will start rolling out the stable Android 13-based MIUI 14 update to eligible devices in January. Ahead of it, the brand has started seeding development build of the software to various devices. Recently the Mi 11 and Redmi Note 11T Pro series received the MIUI 14 development version in China and now the Xiaomi Pad 5 and Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 are getting the same treatment.
The update is rolling out on the Xiaomi Pad 5 with firmware version V14.0.22.12.20.DEV and the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 with V14.0.22.12.21.DEV. The MIUI development version based on Android 13 brings a number of optimizations and improvements. The brand notes that since the underlying architecture of the tablets is quite different from smartphones, they will need to be adapted in order to fully embrace the MIUI 14.
With this pre-release version, users of the above-mentioned devices will be able to test MIUI’s latest version. This update, however, may be laced with various bugs and issues that may disrupt one’s daily usage. Currently, the update is being released in China and only to select enthusiasts who signed up for it.
MIUI 14 is yet to be announced in the global market. Xiaomi hasn’t given any timelines yet but we expect the software to arrive on the international market in early 2023.

The device in question is called the Honor 80 GT and it comes equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. The device has a capable camera setup. It packs a triple camera unit on the back with a 54MP main camera (Sony IMX800), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. There’s a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
The smartphone comes with IR blaster, NFC, and linear motor, and runs MagicOS 7.0 based on Android 13 out of the box. Fueled by a 4,800mAh battery, the Honor 80 GT supports 66W fast charging.
