Realme 10 4G will be launching tomorrow in Indonesia. On Nov. 17, the Realme 10 5G and the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G will be arriving in China. Rumors are rife that the lineup will also be released in India later this month. Ahead of the expected launch in India, Pricebaba has teamed up with reliable tipster Mukul Sharma to reveal the configurations and color variants of the Realme 10 series for the Indian market.

The leak reveals that India will be receiving three devices: the Realme 10, the Realme 10 Pro, and the Realme 10 Pro+. The Realme 10 will be the same Helio G99-powered device, which will launch tomorrow in Indonesia. It will arrive in variants like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It will come in colors like Clash White and Rush Black.

The Realme 10 Pro will be available in two configurations: 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The handset will come in colors like Nebula Blue and HyperSpace.

Coming to the Realme 10 Pro+, it is expected to arrive in three configurations, such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The device will be made available in India in two shades namely, Nebula Blue, Hyperspace, and Dark Matter.

The Realme 10 Pro+ seems to be the Dimensity 1080-powered device, which has appeared with the RMX3687 model number in TENAA’s database recently. The Realme 10 Pro could be the RMX3663 model that was also spotted at TENAA.

The app works flawlessly with any Android smartphone and iPhone. However, it is currently limited for users in South Korea across all Galaxy Phones, tablets, and phones, including iPads, iPhones, and the web also.

Dropship app is available via the Galaxy Store as a Good Lock module. It uses an internet connection to transfer files between different devices. The transfer speed directly depends on the internet connection speed, and it does not work like the traditional transfer apps which use Nearby Share, Quick Share or a similar service via Bluetooth or WiFi.

It allows users to create links, set time-limit and share with the desired person. The app supports transfers of up to 5GB in size on a daily basis. However, the process is quite simple, the user needs to select the platform and the sender, and the link will be generated. The link will be shared with the desired person or the receiver can scan the QR code. The Dropship app or a Samsung account is not required on the receiver’s phone, they can directly download the file.

Dropship App is currently available only for devices running Android 13-based OneUI 5.0. The users can get the app from Galaxy Store, and we expect the app to launch across the globe and on more devices in the coming time.

MediaTek Dimensity 9200 key specifications leaked, will debut with Vivo X90

Just a few days ahead of its official launch, the key specifications of MediaTek Dimensity 9200 are finally detailed by Digital Chat Station. The new Chipset will be a major competitor to Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Apple Bionic A16 SoC. There are several improvements which will enhance the performance and efficiency of the chipset.

The octa-core chipset will be based on TSMC’s 4nm process and will feature Immortalis-G715 GPU. It appears to house a single Cortex X1 core at 3.05GHz clocking speed, three Cortex A715 cores with a clocking speed of 2.85GHz and four economy Cortex A510 cores at 2.0GHz speed. The configuration is also said to offer better cameras and enhanced network speed.

Meanwhile, the Immortalis-G715 GPU will feature ray tracing hardware offering better light and shadow depth effects. The build process and MediaTek’s technology have paved the way for its exciting increase in performance and efficiency.

The new chipset is set to launch with the Vivo X90 in the coming few weeks.

In a recent Manhattan ES 3.0 off-screen benchmark, the Dimensity 9200 GPU performed better than the Apple Bionic A16 SoC. The Dimensity 9200 scored 328 FPS, meanwhile, the Apple A16 managed to get 280 FPS, and the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 attained 280 points.

There is a massive leap in GPU performance in comparison with its predecessor – the Dimensity 9000. As per reports, the GPU performance of the new MediaTek flagship will be on par with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Additionally, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 is launching on November 8, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will launch at Qualcomm’s summit between November 15 -17.

Apple iOS 16.2 Beta adds news to the native Weather app

Apple is working on bringing additional functionality and information to its existing native Weather app in iOS. The company’s latest iOS 16.2 Beta is set to bring a couple of updates, so let’s have a look.

As of right now, the iOS’ Weather app shows the current temperature in a large font at the top of the screen, with the city name above it. The Weather app also shows the temperature range of the day as well as a 10 day forecast in the background. According to a Cult of Mac report, the Cupertino based giant will soon bring local news weather to the Weather app to add to its overall functionality. The local news also includes severe weather disturbances like hurricanes, tornadoes, hail, blizzards, and more.

Furthermore, the beta testers have also noted that the feature is currently only available in major cities and offers weather related stories in Apple News. In a press release, Apple confirmed the delay in production for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max which may lead to “longer wait times”. The Covid restrictions are affecting the production capacity at its iPhone factory in Zhengzhou. However, the company remains intact with its policy of “prioritizing the health and safety of the workers in our supply chain.”

The “strong demand” for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max is still growing due to better specifications and the presence of the new Apple Bionic A16 chipset. However, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus sales are not as expected and even the company has scaled down its production capacity.

Some reports last month pointed towards a 30% decline in iPhone production due to Covid restrictions at the Foxconn production facility. Moreover, some workers even left the Foxconn facility due to long stays inside the building with limited food supplies during the Covid outbreak.

The Cupertino giant is gradually shifting away the production capacity from China to other countries. Apple started the iPhone 14 production in India to bridge the gap between demand and production. We expect Apple to normalise manufacturing with a similar approach if the prolonged Covid restrictions are affecting the overall capacity in China.

For those unaware, Elon Musk had just recently acquired the microblogging website. Following its buyout, the billionaire announced that it would be making changes to its Blue subscription, with users now being able to buy the verification checkmark for just 7.99 US Dollars a month. The move was only announced a while back and the company has begun rolling out updates to the iOS app that starts the testing phase for this subscription plan. In other words, the feature is officially being pushed out in real time.

As of right now, the feature is only available in limited regions like the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Although, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla announced that this feature will also be available in other markets like India in less than a month. Elon Musk also added that the pricing for the Twitter Blue subscription will be adjusted based on the country and its purchasing power parity.

The Blue subscription was originally priced at 2.99 US Dollars a month, and was increased to 4.99 US Dollars earlier this year. But after the acquisition, Elon Musk changed the subscription plans to include the Blue checkmark. Initially, the tick was just for verification for people like celebrities, companies, politicians, and other known personalities. The new move comes as a “Power to the people.”

OPPO has a couple of devices lined up for launch in the home market. Later this week, the company is expected to unveil the OPPO A58 5G. The A98 5G is likely to launch by mid-November. New information shared by Digital Chat Station reveals that OPPO will also be launching the Reno 9 lineup and the Find N2 soon in China.

As can be seen in the screenshot below (via. TechGoing), the Reno 9 series will debut by November end in China. Next month, the company will unveil the Find N2 foldable phone. While it is not mentioned in the leak, it appears that OPPO’s first flip phone with a foldable screen, which is tentatively called the OPPO Find N Flip, will debut with the Find N2 in December.

The Reno 9 series is expected to include three devices, such as the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+. These devices may come equipped with the Snapdragon 778G Plus, the Dimensity 8200, and the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1v chipsets, respectively.

A recent leak revealed that the Find N2 will feature a 120Hz foldable OLED screen and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It is likely to be equipped with the MariSilicon X chip for better photography experience in low-light conditions.

The Find N Flip is also said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It is expected to feature a 6.8-inch foldable OLED screen, a 3.26-inch OLED cover display, a 32-megapixel front camera, 50-megapixel dual rear cameras, and a 4,300mAh battery. OPPO’s Find X6 series is expected to launch in Q1 2023. The Find X6 and X6 Pro are likely to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively.

The new bugs in the iOS 16 affect not just the new iPhone 14 series models, but also the older iPhone 13 as well. Reportedly, some iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 have been facing an odd screen freezing bug. This basically means that there are animations glitches and at times the device stops working entirely. The issue first surfaced after iPhone users upgraded to te new iOS 16.1 update, which was released last week. A number of iPhone 14 Pro users have taken to social media to voice their concerns and showcase the issue.

The iPhone 14 Pro display can be see stuck on the Spotlight Search menu in one video on YouTube, despite the user trying to exit it. The device can’t reach the home screen either, although the app switcher is working, so it means that the iPhone isn’t completely unresponsive. Apart from the iPhones hanging up, the new iPhone 13 model users are also facing an even weirder display issue that turns the entire into green.

Similar to the previous bug, the issue arose after the iPhone 13 was upgraded to the iOS 16 update. Once the screen turns green, the device’s display is quite literally unusable with the only thing being displayed being the color green. If your iPhone is under warranty, you can get a free iPhone 13 display replacement. It remains to be seen when Apple will fix these issues, but there’s a good chance that the new iOS 16.2 update will address at least some of these bugs.

Samsung Galaxy S23 will only feature Snapdragon Chipsets

As speculated earlier via some reports, the upcoming Galaxy S23 series will ditch the Exynos chipsets and will be entirely replaced by the Snapdragon chipsets. Qualcomm CFO Akash Palkhiwala confirmed the presence of the chipset on the Samsung flagships while announcing the Q4 2022 financial reports. Breaking all the odds, the new flagship smartphone will launch with the same chipset across the globe.

Qualcomm expects to register strong growth in Q1 2023 with the launch of new devices using the next flagship chipset. Moreover, the dates coincide with the Galaxy S23 launch pushing stronger sales. In a statement, Akash Palkhiwala said, “So from a March quarter perspective, you’re right, the benefit from the Samsung launch for the new phone would be in the in kind of the second half of the March quarter. So it comes in towards the end of the quarter, but that will be an advantage, whereas our share from 75% in G S22 goes up to global share in G S23. – Akash Palkhiwala (Qualcomm CFO)”

In addition, the reports call even confirmed the new multiyear agreement for the use of Qualcomm chipsets on Samsung’s premium segment phones.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Specifications (Expected)

Additionally, Samsung Galaxy S23 series is all set for release by February 2023 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. All three models – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra even surfaced on Geekbench revealing some prominent specifications, especially the chipset, consisting of 1+2+2+3 cores configuration and up to 3.36GHz clocking speed.

Previous leaks confirm that the Samsung Galaxy S23 will feature a 6.1-inch sAMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, meanwhile, the Galaxy S23+ houses a 6.6-inch sAMOLED display. There will be a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens. A 12MP sensor will be present on the front.

Alike the Galaxy S22 series, the base Galaxy S23 will house 25W rapid charging with a slight increase in battery capacity.

For those unaware, the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models are not expected to offer major changes in battery sizes over their predecessors. Similarly, the top end Galaxy S23 Ultra is also rumored to feature the same battery pack as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. But despite no major change in the battery pack itself, the endurance on the next gen models will reportedly see an improvement. The news arrives from a known tipster Ice Universe, who shared the information on Twitter.

He claimed that the Galaxy S23 lineup will arrive with a new and improved low power mode. This will reportedly reduce power consumption significantly, which in turn would raise the battery life of the new smartphones. However, the low power mode comes with a notable trade off, since users will have to bring down the refresh rate and even sacrifice their device’s performance as well. The tipster shared an image of the settings, which revealed that it will be called the light performance mode.

Based on what we know so far, the South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy S23+ will feature a 4,700mAh battery pack. This is larger than the 4,500mAh battery pack in the Galaxy S22+. Realme has just shared another teaser for its upcoming 10 series of smartphones. In the latest teaser, the company showed off the curved display panel of the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G ahead of its launch in China.

Just a couple of days ago, the Chinese smartphone maker shared a teaser, which hints at the upcoming smartphone lineup sporting a display with curved edges. However, back then it was unclear which models would feature this screen panel. But now, the latest teaser has basically confirmed that the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G model will sport curved edges. As of right now, the brand is set to launch the base Realme 10 4G model in Indonesia on November 9.

It has also teased the launch of the top end 10 Pro+ 5G model but hasn’t revealed a launch date in its home market of China. However, considering the latest teasers and more which would likely follow soon, it is safe to assume that the official announcement is just around the corner. The new smartphone will likely be released sometime by the end of this month. Looking at the new teaser, we can see that the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G model will have curved edges on the sides of the display along with a center aligned punch hole camera.

The handset is set to sport a 6.7 inch FHD+ screen that will likely offer a 90Hz or 120Hz high refresh rate and an in display fingerprint sensor as well. Under the hood, the device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. For optics, the rear features a 108 megapixel triple camera setup, while the front has a 16 megapixel selfie shooter. According to a CNBC report, the US Dollar is quite strong among the global currencies. So, customers in the US do not have to worry about the price hike. Although, a stronger dollar value also implies that the foreign currency being converted givers lower dollar value to Apple. Thus, the brand hiked iPhone pricing to keep its revenue more consistent. An example of this is the Pound Sterling, which was valued higher than the dollar a year ago is now weaker.

As per Apple CFO Luca Maestri, “Essentially every currency around the world has weakened against the dollar. The strong dollar makes it difficult in a number of areas. Obviously, our pricing in emerging markets makes it difficult, and the translation of that revenue back into dollars is affected.” The CFO further added that “In some cases, for example, customers in international markets had to … they saw some price increases when we launched the new products, which is not something that, for example, U.S. customers have seen. And that’s unfortunately the situation that we’re in right now with the strong dollar.”

Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 13 series will be announced by November end or early December in China. After the announcement of the Xiaomi 13 series, the company will shift its focus to the Redmi K60 series, which is likely to include at least three models, such as the Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60 Gaming. A new leak, courtesy of reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed key information about the Redmi K60 series’ cameras.

According to the tipster, one of the devices in the K60 lineup will have an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel main camera, whereas another model will have a 50-megapixel camera with OIS support as the primary snapper.

It is being speculated that the vanilla Redmi K60 will have a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main camera, whereas the Redmi K60 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. The information that has surfaced is quite confusing since the vanilla model was previously tipped to feature a 48-megapixel main camera. Hence, it is advisable to wait for further reports to learn more about the primary cameras of the K60 lineup.

The Redmi K60 is expected to arrive with a flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset and a 5,500mAh battery, which will support 67W fast charging.

As compared to the K60, the K60 Pro may come equipped with a better chipset, a superior main camera, and a faster charging solution. The Redmi K60 Gaming is expected to come with an AMOLED panel that offers a 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and 100W charging.

The Redmi K60 series is expected to debut in Q1 2023 in China. Some of the devices in the lineup are likely to get rebranded as POCO devices in the global market. The K60 Gaming may get rebranded as the POCO F4 GT in markets outside of China.
