In August, OPPO unveiled the OPPO A77 mid-range phone, which features the Helio G35. Several reports have claimed that OPPO is working on the OPPO A77s for multiple markets. Tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed the configurations, color variants, and launch time frame of the A77s.
According to the tipster, the OPPO A77s will arrive in India in two variants, such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It will be available in black and blue colors. The tipster further mentioned that the A77s will debut by the end of September or by early October.
OPPO A77 4G
The OPPO A77s, which has a CPH2473 model number, has been approved by multiple certification platforms, such as India’s BIS, Thailand’s NBTC, EU declaration database, Indonesian Telecom certification, TUV Rheinland, and China’s CQC. It has been found through one of the certifications that the device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, which carries support for 33W fast charging.
The leaked specifications of the OPPO A77s suggest that it will certainly be priced above the OPPO A77, which is priced at Rs 15,490 (~$194). The device appears to be priced around Rs 17,000 (~$213). Unfortunately, there is no information available on the other specs of the A77s.
In all likelihood, the OPPO A77s may borrow some of its specs from the A77, which has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD HD+ display, an Helio G35 chipset, Android 12 OS, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging. It has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (macro) dual camera setup on the back. For security, the device is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Like its predecessor, the Vivo X80 series, the X90 models are expected to offer top-notch photography features. It appears that the X90 Pro+ may offer a better photography experience.
According to the tipster, the Vivo X90 Pro+ will debut in December this year. It is yet another Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered phone that is expected to launch this year. Already, there have been rumors that the Xiaomi 13 series and the OnePlus 11 Pro 5G with SD8G2 will be released this year.

He further said that the telephoto camera will be coupled with a new telephoto algorithm. The tipster is of the view that the X90 Pro+ telephoto camera can beat the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Since it is thought that the S23 Ultra will have the same telephoto camera as the S22 Ultra, it looks like the X90 Pro+ could also beat the S23 Ultra.
The other details of the X90 series are under wraps. It appears that the rumor mill will continue to spill more information about it in the coming weeks.

Apple just released the iPhone 14 Pro: the first iPhone ever with Dynamic Island. But this aesthetic new feature is not the only amazing improvement of this device if we compare it to the previous generation. After the release, a huge amount of people, even among Gizmochina readers, are wondering whether or not this device is the best smartphone out there alongside the Pro Max variant. Well, in order to answer this question, we are currently comparing it to the other best phones from the other brands. Now, it is the turn of Xiaomi. We already published an article about the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, but now we chose another Xiaomi flagship because it is the latest one launched by the brand in the global market. So, here you can find a comparison between the main specifications of the iPhone 14 Pro and the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro vs Xiaomi 12 Pro
Apple iPhone 14 Pro
Xiaomi 12 Pro
DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT
147.5 x 71.5 x 7.9 mm,
206 g
163.6 x 74.6 x 8.2 mm,

DISPLAY
6.1 inches, 1179 x 2556 pixels (Full HD+), Super Retina XDR OLED
There is definitely no challenge: if you need the most elegant design and the best build quality, then you should go for the iPhone 14 Pro. It is built with premium materials such as Ceramic Shield for the rear side and stainless steel for the frame, so it is very solid. It is more compact than its rival and it is waterproof with the IP68 certification allowing you to put it underwater up to 6 meters deep for a max time of 30 minutes. It is thinner than the Xiaomi and it is very beautiful with its narrow bezels sporting the same thickness on all the sides. Unlike the iPhone 14 Pro, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is not waterproof and it is built with a glass back and a classic aluminum frame. It is not an ugly phone and it still comes with the good build quality, but there is no way it can compete with the Apple flagship.
Display
On the display side, it is a very hard fight. In terms of specifications, these two devices are very close. But it looks like the image quality provided by the iPhone 14 Pro is hard to match. This handset comes with a Super Retina XDR OLED panel sporting a diagonal of 6.1 inches, a Full HD+ resolution of 1179 x 2556 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, the HDR10 certification, Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits. The Xiaomi 12 Pro is equipped with an AMOLED display able to show up to one billion colors with a diagonal of 6.73 inches, a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, the HDR10+ certification, and Dolby Vision support, as well as a 1,500 nit peak brightness. The methods of authentication are different: with the iPhone, you get 3D facial recognition, while Xiaomi has an in-display fingerprint reader. Thanks to the LTPO technology, the displays of these phones come with an adaptive refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz and they support Always-On Display with a very low refresh rate.
Specs & Software
The hardware departments of these two phones are at the same level, but the iPhone 14 Pro is able to provide higher performance because the iOS operating system has better optimization compared to Android. The iPhone 14 Pro is fueled by the Apple A16 Bionic chipset built with a 4 nm production process and sporting an hexa-core architecture composed of two Everest performance cores running at a max frequency of 3.46 GHz, four Sawtooth energy cores running at 2.02 GHz, and a 5-core proprietary GPU. Then we have 6 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of native storage. With the Xiaomi 12 Pro, you get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform built with the same 4 nm production process, but with an octa-core architecture composed of a Cortex X1 CPU running at a max frequency of 3 GHz, three Cortex A710 CPUs running at 2.5 GHz, four Cortex A510 CPUs running at 1.8 GHz, and an Adreno 730 GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
Camera
Now, the cameras. The iPhone 14 Pro should be able to provide better photo quality thanks to its amazing software optimizations and sensors. It is the first Apple phone with a 48 MP main camera, paired with a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a 12 MP telephoto sensor. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 Pro remains great with its triple camera including three 50 MP sensors. We believe the iPhone will behave better, but Xiaomi remains one of the best camera phones out there.
The battery of the Xiaomi 12 Pro is much bigger, but the improvements in terms of battery life are not very evident if we compare it to the iPhone 12 Pro. What really changes are the charging speeds, thanks to its amazing 120W fast charging technology.
Price
The iPhone 14 Pro starts from $1300 or €1300, while you need less than €1000 or $1000 to purchase the Xiaomi 12 Pro. Which one would you pick?

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is still months away, but the rumor mill has already started shredding its specifications into fine pieces. A recent leak gave us the display specs of the upcoming lineup. Now, a new leak reveals some interesting details about the S23 series’s processor. Samsung is apparently having internal conflicts about whether to use the in-house Exynos chip or Qualcomm’s next-gen SoC in the upcoming Galaxy flagships.
Noted tipster Ice Universe revealed via Weibo that Samsung’s MX (Mobile eXperience) division is not very happy with the performance of the company’s Exynos chipset in the Galaxy S22 smartphones and “hopes” the upcoming Galaxy S23 smartphones will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. However, Samsung’s leadership wants to continue using the Exynos chipset in next year’s flagships.
Reports suggest Samsung’s Exynos 2300 SoC, which is said to be on par with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, could power the Galaxy S23 series.
A recent report revealed that the S23 lineup will feature no upgrades in terms of display size. However, they may offer better specs, like supporting a higher peak brightness level, lower power consumption, and more.
Just like this year, the S23 series is said to have three models—the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The high-end S23 Ultra could feature some serious upgrades. Earlier this year in January, Tecno announced POVA Neo smartphone in India. A month later, it also launched its first-ever 5G phone called POVA 5G. Now, the brand is gearing up to unveil a 5G variant of the POVA Neo smartphone. The upcoming offering will be the third 5G phone from Tecno after the Camon 19 Pro 5G that debuted last month in the country.
Tecno has started teasing the key specifications of the POVA Neo 5G. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by a Dimensity 810 processor under the hood. It will also come with a centre-aligned punch-hole display. Apart from this, the teasers don’t reveal any additional details about the upcoming offering. There’s a possibility that the Tecno POVA Neo 5G may launch in the next few days during Amazon’s Great India Shopping Festival Sale that begins on September 22nd.
The Tecno POVA Neo 5G moniker suggests that it will be positioned below the POVA 5G, which is priced at Rs 19,999. Additionally, it could also be the cheapest 5G device from the brand.
As per reports, the Tecno POVA Neo 5G is expected to come with a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device may pack 4GB of RAM along with 5GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The POVA Neo 5G is tipped to house a 6,000mAh battery, with support for 33W fast charging. Unlike the Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S, the PlayStation 5 from Sony does not offer its latest generation of gaming consoles with different specs. Although, it does offer one that lacks a physical disc drive. And now, a new report suggests that a third variant is on the way, so here’s all the details.
Interestingly, the Japanese tech giant has already been making minor changes to its latest generation of PS5 consoles. However, it seems like a new change might bring a drastic change in the new consoles’ design. The news arrives from Insider Gaming‘s Tom Henderson who revealed that Sony could be looking to refresh the physical design of the PlayStation 5. Apparently, the upcoming versions of PS5 might feature a detachable disc drive.
As per the report, the brand plans on releasing the PS5 with a detachable disc drive that will be connected to the console through a USB Type C port that is housed at the back. This would also mean that Sony could choose to bundle the external optical drive with the console. Although, it is also entirely possible that the company chooses to sell this external drive separately.
The company usually launches new variants of its console every 3 to 4 years. So, it won’t be surprising if the new PS5 model launches sometime within the next two years. But unlike a Slim or Pro variant, it seems that this time around the brand plans on bringing a detachable disc drive. This could also bring down the manufacturing cost for the PlayStation 5 and make it more affordable for buyers.
