Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earlier this week. At the beginning of this month, Samsung started receiving pre-reservations for the Z foldables in India. It has now started a new pre-reservation campaign in the country.
Those who pre-reserve the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or the Z Flip 4 will get exclusive benefits greater than Rs 40,000 (~$502). However, the pre-reservations page lacks detailed information on the offer. As can be seen in the image, the South Korean tech giant is also offering an additional gift worth Rs 5,199 (~$65). Yesterday, Motorola unveiled the Moto Razr 2022 clamshell flagship alongside the Moto X30 Pro and the Moto S30 Pro in China. As mentioned in the below poster, Motorola sold 10,000 units of the Razr 2022 in just 5 minutes in its first sale. Its closest rival is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, which carries a starting price of 8,499 Yuan (~$1,261).
The Razr 2022 is also expected to be released in the global market, but there is no official word on it yet. Moto Razr 2022 specifications
The Razr 2022 has a 6.7-inch foldable P-OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate. On the back, it features a 2.7-inch G-OLED display. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) triple camera unit.

Motorola is gearing up to introduce a new tablet in the Indian market soon. The device dubbed the Moto Tab G62 has been confirmed to debut on August 17. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the looks of the slate along with its features via a Flipkart listing.

Ahead of its launch, the device has popped up on the Geekbench database, revealing its key specifications and performance. So, let’s take a look.
The Samsung Galaxy A04 Core has emerged in the Geekbench database with the SM-A042F model number. It is revealed to have a quad-core processor with a base frequency of 2.3GHz and a motherboard codenamed “a04e”. The listing also reveals the processor name as MT6765V/CB. This indicates that the device features the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
The listing also reveals that the A04 Core has 3GB of RAM and an Android 12-based operating system. Coming to the benchmark performance, the smartphone scores 802 points in the single-core test and 3556 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 4.
So far, the device has been revealed to have a polycarbonate back with a matte finish. It has a single rear camera and an LED flash. The right side of the phone has a volume rocker and a power key, and it will lack a fingerprint scanner. Despite these tablets belonging to the same series (even though the latest one made its debut a year after the predecessor), they come with very different designs due to their different camera modules. The Xiaomi Pad 5 has a similar camera module to the Xiaomi Mi 11, while the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 has a similar design to the Xiaomi 12. But they share several things in common: first of all, they are very thin (the Pro variant is thinner with just 6.7 mm against 6.9 mm). Further, they have a very high screen to body ratio with the display covering more than 80 percent of the front glass. Given that the Xiaomi Pad Pro 12.4 has a wider display, it is way bigger than the vanilla version, so it will be more comfortable to use but harder to transport.
Display
The displays of these two tablets have almost the same specifications but they differ in terms of dimensions. If you are a productivity user, then you may prefer the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 because of its wide display. All the most important tablets for work and productivity have a display with a diagonal above 12 inches because it is easier to work with the most advanced apps and to leverage the user interfaces specifically made for tablets. Further, besides supporting a pen, the Pro variant supports a keyboard. The main display specifications are the same and they include a Quad HD+ resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10 certification, and Dolby Vision support. Note that these are IPS panels, so do not expect those outstanding colors you can currently find on flagship Android phones. The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is the only one protected by Gorilla Glass 3, so it should provide a more resistant front glass.
Specs & Software
The chipset found on the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is actually more powerful than the one found on the vanilla version. It is a Snapdragon 870 mobile platform by Qualcomm built with a 7 nm production process and sporting an octa-core architecture. The processor is composed of a Kryo 585 CPU running at a max frequency of 3.2 GHz, three Kryo 585 CPUs running at a frequency of 2.42 GHz, four Kryo 585 CPUs running at 1.8 GHz, and an Adreno 650 CPU. The SoC is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage (UFS 3.1, to be accurate). The vanilla Xiaomi Pad 5 has a Snapdragon 860 chipset paired with just 6 GB of RAM: there is no way for it to compete in terms of performance. Further, the Pro variant offers something more when it comes to the software, thanks to the MIUI Pad 13 based on Android 12: not only a more recent software version but also a version customized for tablets.
Camera
The Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 also brings a few improvements to the camera department. It is equipped with a better 50 MP main camera paired with a 2 MP depth sensor, while on the front side, it comes with a 20 MP selfie shooter. It is a definitely better camera setup than the Xiaomi Pad 5: the vanilla version comes with a disappointing 13 MP main sensor and an 8 MP selfie snapper. The Pro variant does not come with a high-end camera, but it is more than sufficient.
Given that it is bigger, the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 is also equipped with a bigger battery. Thanks to a capacity of 10,000 mAh, it is one of the best tablets in terms of battery life. Further, it charges quicker with 67W fast charging. The vanilla version has a smaller 8720 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, but it still provides good battery life and good charging speeds.
Price
The starting price of the Xiaomi Pad 5 roughly translates to €350/$361, while the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 starts from €402/$415. Note that the Pro variant is only available in the Chinese market, at least for now, while the vanilla version is available globally. Which one would you pick?
The use of robot vacuum cleaners is fast growing and Anker is latching on to the trend. The company has released the Anker Eufy RoboVac L35 hybrid robot vacuum and mop. It comes with a 3,200 Pa suction power and an optional auto-emptying dock. There are various vacuuming and water flow modes and LIDAR technology helps to map the terrain for seamless navigation. App support is available for the robot vacuum cleaner which can be used to control the gadget.
The Eufy RoboVac L35 has a 200ml water tank used for mopping the floor. The robot vacuum cleaner can operate within a virtual mapped boundary and supports Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. There are four power levels for vacuuming and three water flow levels for mopping. The RoboVac L35 has a 5,200mAh battery that provides up to 2.5 hours of runtime.
For the hybrid+ model option, there is an auto-emptying docking station. This enables the device to deliver up to two months of hands-free cleaning. The dock has a powerful suction to empty the vacuum’s dust bag but does not drain or refill the water tank. The cleaning and drying of the mop cannot be undertaken automatically unlike some other models.
The Anker Eufy RoboVac L35 is already on sale and Anker is offering some discount on the purchase. It is currently priced at $299.99, while the Hybrid+ model retails at $499.99. The prices will revert to $399.99 and $549.99 respectively.
As expected, Lenovo has further illuminated the Legion VR700 Headset by announcing some of its key features. The Legion VR700 is powered by the Qualcomm XR2 processor and it offers True 4K output. It also supports iQIYI network resources.
The Legion VR700 comes with some decent features that put it at par with the leading brands in the market. The XR2 processor is the chipset of choice in that regard. The headsets adopt the Y design of the Lenovo Rescuer series but come with improved performance. In addition, the video bandwidth of the gadget has undergone tremendous improvements. It comes with 10 times higher resolution and 11 times faster AI performance.
The Lenovo Legion VR700 uses a 4K RealRGB display with a high brush response. The 6DoF interactive system is also supported for dual 6DoF spatial somatosensory positioning and accuracy. The device will deliver a better viewing experience for users. It supports iQIYI’s network resources and adopts the iQUT 2.0 standard.
The pricing details of the Legion VR700 are lacking at this time. However, IQIYI’s Qiyu Dream Pro VR machine with similar architecture as the VR700 starts at 2,499 yuan (~$371).
Chinese EV brand Wuling is stepping up its acts by entering the global market. The company is the culmination of a partnership between SGMW and General Motors. It has just unveiled the Air EV in Indonesia, marking its first foray outside China.

During the unveiling of the Air EV in Indonesia, Wuling showcased its success in China which is now spreading to other countries. The Air EV was also endorsed as the official car of the G20 Summit. The Wuling Air EV is a 2-door electric vehicle designed primarily for city driving. It is being showcased for its easy operability and low upfront cost. It has a single 40HP electric motor and a range of 186 miles. The Air EV has had a very successful run in China. Wuling says it offers a superior-quality travel experience and reflects Wuling’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Xiaomi today held a launch event where a number of products were announced, the top of which is the Mix Fold 2. The company also announced a new generation of flagship TWS earphones – Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro.
The Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro adopts a space capsule design, which is more rounded than the previous generation. The headphone handle is brightly treated, and it is available in two color options – gold and black, of which the gold color option gives a noble and elegant feeling.
The earbuds are fixed to the charging case by magnetic absorption, so there is no need to worry about accidental falling. At the same time, after opening the cover, the earphones are exposed as a whole, which is easy to take.
Perhaps, the most outstanding feature of the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro is that it supports adaptive dynamic noise reduction, with a noise reduction depth of 48dB and a noise reduction width of up to 4000Hz. It also supports 3 levels of adaptive automatic adjustment, which can automatically identify the environment and intelligently adjust the noise reduction depth, as well as choose the most suitable noise reduction mode to ensure comfort.

Xiaomi announced a bunch of new products at today’s event and to be honest they were all pretty cool. However, what impressed us the most is Xiaomi’s first full-size humanoid robot called CyberOne. Of course, this is not the first time the Chinese tech giant has launched a robotic product. The company previously unveiled a CyberDog, which, as the name suggests, is inspired by our furry friend.
As per the company, CyberOne is a full-scale humanoid bionic robot that is 177cm tall and weighs 52kg. It has been nicknamed “Metal bro” and somehow it also has been given a zodiac sign, Leo. The robot’s face is made of a curved OLED panel and it can see the world in 3D. For hearing, it has two microphones.
It is equipped with Xiaomi’s self-developed whole-body control algorithm, which can coordinate the movement of 21 joints. Further, the humanoid robot can interpret 45 human semantic emotions and distinguish 85 environmental semantics. The robot is claimed to learn new skills each day.
The CyberOne humanoid robot, according to Xiaomi, combines sophisticated mechatronics and artificial intelligence created by the company’s specialized Robot Labs. The company claims that significant resources and labor were used to build the CyberOne.
CyberOne is just a first-gen product and most of its aspects are still in the development stage. It’s still no on far with the robots of Boston Dynamics. However, the robot has definitely beaten Tesla’s humanoid prototype.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4 was launched in China as the company’s latest tablet. The Chinese tech giant also launched a bunch of other products including its latest foldable called Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. The latest tablet is a lot different from the Pad 5 Pro launched last year. It comes with a Snapdragon 870 Soc, a 12.4-inch 2.5K resolution LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a massive 10,000mAh battery. Let’s have a look at all the details.
Design and Display
Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4-inch is carrying a lot of changes in terms of design and appearance. The company has trimmed down the bezels. However, it continues to retain the previous four sides of the full-screen equal-width approach on the front.
The back of the device is a different story. The camera module on the device has been redesigned and it now looks identical to the Xiaomi 12 Series phones. Talking about the display, the tablet comes with a 12.4-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.5K resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display can attain a maximum brightness of 500nit brightness rate and supports the P3 color gamut, HDR10. It also comes with Dolby Vision certification.

After teasing for days, Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi K50 Ultra in China. The latest smartphone in the Redmi K50 series looks somewhat similar to the Xiaomi 12/12S lineup. Redmi K50 Ultra Specifications
The Redmi K50 Ultra flaunts a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole 12-bit OLED display supplied by China’s TCL CSOT and Tianma. This panel offers a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels, 446 PPI, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.
The screen supports Dolby Vision, DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR10+, and Adaptive HDR. The SGS low fatigue-certified display also has a hardware-level low blue light mode.

The Mix Fold 2 is the company’s second-generation foldable smartphone. It arrives as the successor to the Mix Fold that debuted last year. Xiaomi’s latest foldable offering competes against the likes of the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, OPPO Find N, Vivo Fold X, and others in the market.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 comes with a different rear panel design compared to its predecessor. It has a horizontal camera module housing Leica branded three sensors. The setup comprises a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto unit with 2x zoom. The device is capable of recording 8K videos and also supports Dolby Vision HDR format recording. The foldable smartphone has a volume rocker and power buttons on the right side. Under the hood, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It packs 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The foldable smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 67W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on MIUI 13-based Android 12 out of the box.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is offered in Black and Gold colour options. It carries a starting price tag of Yuan 8,999 (~$1,335) for the base 256GB storage. Xiaomi has launched a new washing machine in China with a unique double-decker design. The MIJIA Partition Washing and Drying machine has a lower and upper double cylinder design that allows for multiple washing and drying tasks simultaneously. Xiaomi is promoting the MIJIA Partition Washing and Drying machine 15kg as a perfect home cleaning appliance. It has an overall capacity of 15kg with the smaller upper drum having 5kg, while the lower drum takes 10kg.
The new MIJIA washing and drying machine enables you to separate baby clothes from the general laundry and wash both simultaneously. The company says the design of the gadget engenders both efficiency and health. The upper cylinder is designed for washing more delicate clothing like baby wears, underwear, wool, and silk. The benign washing mechanism ensures that the clothes are clean and their quality is maintained.
The MIJIA washing and drying machine supports 7kg drying. The larger 10kg lower cylinder can wash a variety of clothes including bed sheets, adult clothing, and thicker materials. The washing machine has a three-way special agent used for washing delicate clothes. Both cylinders of the machine are powered by dual direct drive motors. The motors are efficient and accurate, with a low noise rating of 48dB. The drying mechanism is driven by the BLDC variable frequency drying fan with intelligent wind and temperature control. The BLDC cleaning pump guarantees cleaning power during the drying process.
The machine comes with displays, one for the washing section and another for the dryer. It can be integrated into the smart home ecosystem, as the MIJIA App can send real-time messages on tasks, as well as the Xiao AI audio voice reminders and music.
