As shown by the tipster, the alleged POCO Watch with model number M2131W1 has been approved by the BIS authority, which indicates that it will be heading to India in future. There is a possibility that the POCO X4 Pro 5G launch event for India could also see the arrival of the purported POCO Watch and the company’s first TWS earbuds called POP Buds. Rumors have it that the latter could be a rebranded version of the Redmi AirDots 3 Pro.

The Huawei Mate 40E Pro will be available for purchase through Huawei Mall in China. The phone is priced at 6,499 yuan, which is approximately $1,029, for the 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage model.

Google updated the design of its Pixel series flagship smartphones last year with the launch of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. For its successor, it appears that the company will keep the same design but will make some minor changes.
Renders of the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro smartphone have surfaced online, which shows what we can expect from the upcoming device as far as the phone’s design is concerned.
Based on the leaked renders, Technizo Concept created a concept video for the smartphone’s design. It appears that the periscope telephoto lens on the camera bar on the phone’s back panel is now separated from the other two lenses.
As for the specifications, the device is said to feature a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch curved OLED display and have QHD+ screen resolution (1440p) along with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to continue offering an under-display fingerprint sensor despite the current-generation models facing issues.
The Pixel 6 series models were the first to come powered by the company’s own Tensor processor and the upcoming models are expected to pack the second-generation Google Tensor chipset and offer up to 512GB of internal storage.
Some reports have revealed that the Google Pixel 7 series is expected to come in Stormy Black, Kinda Coral, Sorta SeaFoam, and Cloudy White shades. While the launch timeline isn’t revealed, we expect the Pixel 7 series to go official sometime around October.
Realme has recently launched the Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro 5G, and Realme 9 Pro+ 5G in India and other markets. Fresh information reveals that the company could be working on the Realme 9 5G handset. Reliable tipster Mukul Sharma has shared the first render of the smartphone to reveal its design.
Recently, the live shots of the Realme 9 5G were spotted in the database of the FCC certification site. The images showed that the Realme 9 5G look identical to the Realme 8 5G from last year. The leaked render shared by the tipster shows that the Realme 9 5G will be sporting a refreshed design.
Realme 9 5G render by Mukul Sharma
The gradient white edition of the Realme 9 5G can be seen sporting a rectangle-shaped camera module. It includes 48-megapixel triple cameras and an LED flash. The power button available on the right edge of the device seems to be integrated with a fingerprint scanner. The left spine of the phone has volume up and down buttons.
The tipster did not share any information on the specs of the Realme 9 5G. However, he claimed that he will be spilling more information on the device soon. He added that the handset is mostly likely to go official in India this month.
Reports have claimed that the Realme 9 5G will borrow all its specs from the Realme 8 5G handset. However, instead of the Dimensity 700 chip that powers the 8 5G, the 9 5G may come equipped with the Dimensity 810 chip. It is expected to come with other specs such as a 6.5-inch IPS LCD FHD+ 90Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera, a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The Realme 9 5G is likely to be priced around Rs 15,000. The tipster had recently claimed that the device will come in variants like 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It may come in colors like Stargaze White, Supersonic Blue, Supersonic Black, and Meteor Black.

The event from Apple, named “Peek Performance,” will be live-streamed by the company on 8th March at 10 am PT. As is the case with Apple, the company has not officially confirmed which products will get launched.

The Apple iPhone SE, which is a low-cost offering from the brand, is expected to continue with the same design as the current generation model, which means that it could retain the Touch ID feature which isn’t found in any other smartphone from Apple.
Internally, the upcoming smartphone is expected to come powered by the Apple A15 Bionic processor, feature better cameras, and come with support for 5G. Similarly, the new iPad Air is also expected to have a new CPU and 5G support.
There have been rumors about Apple planning to launch the Apple Silicon M2 chipset as well as new Mac devices powered by this unannounced processor. However, it’s unlikely to get launched at the event scheduled next week.

During Mobile World Congress 2022, Xiaomi decided to launch two new phones of its POCO sub-brand in the global market: the POCO M4 Pro and the POCO X4 Pro 5G. They belong to the mid-range segment and they went official in the global market with amazing prices if you consider their specifications. Design
None of these devices comes with a premium design. POCO M4 Pro and POCO X4 Pro 5G are built with a polycarbonate body and they are not very thin, but they look good and they also come with a borderless punch-hole display. Further, they sport the IP53 certification making them dust resistant and splash resistant. Between these two phones, the POCO X4 Pro 5G looks more premium thanks to its original color variants, but the M4 Pro is definitely more compact and lighter, that is the reason why I prefer this device when it comes to aesthetics.
Display
Both the phones are equipped with AMOLED displays, but the panel found on the POCO X4 Pro 5G is superior. It is an AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and the HDR10+ certification, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The POCO M4 Pro has a lower 90 Hz refresh rate, lacks the HDR10+ certification, and has a smaller 6.43-inch panel; the panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Fortunately, both the phones come with stereo speakers, but despite coming with AMOLED displays, they do not have an in-display fingerprint scanner: it is side-mounted.
Hardware/Software
The hardware department is the main advantage offered by the POCO X4 Pro 5G. It has a better processor: the Snapdragon 695 5G. It is not only better in terms of performance, but even in terms of energy consumption because it is built with a 6 nm production process instead of 12 nm. Further, this phone features 5G connectivity, unlike its internal rival. Unfortunately, both the phones still run Android 11, but they come with MIUI 13 out of the box and they will get the update to Android 12. The memory configurations available are the same, with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage.
Camera
The two affordable phones come with more or less the same camera departments with the exception of the main camera sensor. The POCO X4 Pro 5G comes with a superior 108 MP main camera: it is not a high-end sensor but it is way better than the 64 MP camera found on the POCO M4 Pro. In both cases, you get an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 16 MP front camera. Unfortunately, these phones are not able to record 4K videos and they stop at 1080p.
Battery
The battery capacity of these two handsets is exactly the same: 5000 mAh. But the POCO X4 Pro 5G should provide a longer battery life because it has a processor built at 6 nm. Further, it offers faster charging speed because it supports 67W fast charging, while the POCO M4 Pro stops at 33W.
Xiaomi POCO M4 Pro vs Xiaomi POCO X4 Pro 5G: Price
Thanks to a launch promo, the starting price of the POCO M4 Pro in Europe is €199/$221, while the POCO X4 Pro 5G begins at €269/$299. If you are wondering which device offers the highest value for money, you have to consider the following factors. The POCO X4 Pro 5G has a superior display, a better chipset, 5G, a superior camera, and faster charging. But we are not talking about huge differences. Which one would you pick?
Apple‘s upcoming budget iPhone SE 3 has been the subject of much speculation lately as we inch closer to a possible unveiling of the latest iteration of the iPhone SE series. An Apple event is scheduled for possibly March 8 and that could herald the launch of the iPhone SE 3. Although, a tradition with such Apple events is to formally announce them a week prior, which has not happened in the case of the iPhone SE 3.
An accessory of the iPhone SE 3 has however surfaced online and it is said that the iPhone SE 3 screen protector will be available on March 10. The 5G iPhone SE case was leaked online according to iMore reports and this is fueling speculation that indeed the iPhone SE 3 could be launched within next week. The iPhone SE 3 screen protector was advertised by Belkin and described as a Protective Glass Film for Belkin iPhone SE and its design bears a close semblance with the expected iPhone SE 3.
The accessory was first spotted in an Amazon Japan listing on February 28 with the listing details indicating that it was for an iPhone SE 3rd generation. As well established, the iPhone SE 3 is the third generation of the iPhone SE lineup. We expect to therefore see the iPhone SE 3 being unveiled in Apple’s forthcoming spring event although a specific date is yet to be officially confirmed.
The iPhone SE 3 is a budget-friendly iPhone with the rumor rife that it could be sold for around $300 which will be lower than the cost of its predecessor. The iPhone SE 3 targets the mid-level segment of the market as Apple seeks to expand its reach beyond the upper reaches of the smartphone market. It will also possibly be powered by Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, which is a high-performance chip ahead of flagship SoCs from MediaTek and Qualcomm.
Sonos has launched the Roam SL portable AirPlay speaker that targets the lower end of the market with a lower price than its predecessor. Sonos had launched the Roam speaker that featured AirPlay2, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Qi charging supports. It also had a built-in microphone with a decent range of coverage. The latest Sonos Roam SL however skips the far-field microphone for a less expensive product.
In the heels of the launch of the Roam SL portable AirPlay speaker, the company’s CEO has stated that consumers will see several innovative offerings from its stable soon. The original Roam was priced up to $180 at a point but the latest model will cost less. It will be sold at $159 exclusively on Sono’s website. The first deliveries will take place around mid-March while orders are being received currently.
The Sonos Roam SL features TruePlay tuning, a 10-hour battery life, IP67 dust and water resistance, and optional magnetic wireless charging. The Sonos Roam SL weighs just 0.43kg and it is available in two colors – shadow black and lunar white.
Sonos CEO Patrick Spence has stated that Sonos is focused on delivering two new products a year, although the details are still kept secret. Sonos has also acquired T2 Software last month and the re-energized company could come out with some innovative offerings and better quality audio products. There is also mention of a Sonos patent application for a Sonos Headset filed in Germany.

In 2020, Realme announced the 125W UltraDart fast-charging technology. Two years down the line, the Chinese company unveiled its 100-200W UltraDart charging tech at the Mobile World Congress 2022 which just ended. Apparently, Realme is planning to out the technology on an upcoming smartphone and has released a video demo of the 150W SuperDart charging in action on the Realme GT Neo3.
The video is suggestive of the 150W fast-charging solution hitting the market pretty soon bringing along a massive charging speed. From the video, it could be seen that the GT Neo3’s battery was charged from 0 to 50% in a flash – just 5 minutes! That is super fast and is a slight improvement over the 125W UltraDart Fast Charging technology that could charge a 4,000mAh battery from 0 to 33 percent in just 3 minutes.
During the MWC 2022 unveiling, Realme had disclosed that the phones equipped with the UltraDart charging will still have up to 80% of their battery capacity after 1000 complete charge cycles. The phones will also be able to charge via lesser charging speed but they will feature multiple boost charge pumps which increase the charger’s current.
Apart from the 150W SuperDart fast charging technology, the Realme GT Neo3 is also expected to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. Apart from Realme, OPPO, Xiaomi and OnePus are also expected to be among the first OEMs to release models including the Redmi K50 Pro, powered by the latest Dimensity 8000 series. There is no word yet on the phone’s launch date.

The owners of the smartwatch will also get a discount code offering 40 percent off on select Fitbit devices according to the announcement made by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The device features a design that is quite similar to the Huawei Nova 9 which was released back in October 2021. However, one of the key differences can be spotted in the camera module which does not feature three lenses in the lower circular enclosure. This time around, Huawei has also placed the LED flash between the two big camera lenses.
Coming to its specs, the code name “Julian” (JLN-Lxx) smartphone will come with a 6.78-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2388×1080 pixels. The screen will have a center punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and will come with thin bezzles and a narrow chin.
For photography, the Huawei Nova 9 SE is said to feature a quad-camera setup with an impressive 108-megapixel camera which will be the first triple-digit megapixel camera on a Huawei smartphone. The smartphone is also said to get an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a couple of 2-megapixel sensors which could be for depth effects and macro shots. On the front, the device is said to come with a 16-megapixel selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the device is rumored to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core SoC which means it won’t offer 5G support. The SoC is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Huawei Nova 9 SE will come with a 4000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Other than that, it will feature NFC support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security, and will run the EMUI 12 in on the Global version and HarmonyOS in China.

The device is also going to feature metaverse functionalities.
HTC One M7
For those who are unaware HTC had limited itself to serving only a few markets with low-end smartphones since the last four years when it sold its majority of smartphone development department to Google. So this would be its first high-end smartphone in years.
According to Charles Huang, who manages the Asian markets for HTC, The company plans to integrate certain metaverse features in its new smartphone which is being introduced with the aim to appeal to customers who would want to use it for VR and AR applications.
Huang again denied an exit of HTC from the smartphone market But did not shed any further light on the specifications of this new device. According to HTC co-founder and now CEO Cher Wang, HTC plans to continue investing in the virtual reality product market on a large scale. At the present according to wang, the company has been focused on the B2B sector as the company is seeking to open up the enterprise market with meetings, conferences, and shopping solutions.
It is still unclear whether this new smartphone by HTC will truly be a high-end device or if it will be launched in the global market as well. But one thing is clear that HTC’s new smartphone will be accompanied by metaverse functionalities.
