Leaked photos of an upcoming Infinix smartphone have appeared. The images shared by GSMArenareveal that it will be the first Infinix smartphone to sport a 108-megapixel and a periscope lens.
At the beginning of this month, XDA Developers released a render of the Infinix Zero X phone. The handset shown in the new photos below looks identical to the Zero X. To begin with, it has a speckled design on the back and a triple camera unit at the top-left corner.
According to the publication, the Infinix smartphone features a 108-megapixel main camera with OIS support. It is accompanied by a 13mm ultrawide lens and a squarish periscope camera. The latter offers a focal length of 125mm with 5x magnification and an f/3.4 aperture.
It can be said based on the information shared by an African YouTuber that this handset could be the Infinix Zero X Pro, and not the vanilla Zero X. It was revealed by Tech Arena24 that the Zero X Pro will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED punch-hole display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by the Helio G96 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.
The Zero X Pro is likely to feature a front camera of 16-megapixel. It is expected to come with other specs like 128 GB of built-in storage, Android 11 OS, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
Infinix will be holding a global launch event on Sept. 13 to announce the Infinix Zero X smartphone. It is unclear whether the Pro model will be announced alongside it.

The K9 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 1200 chipset. It is packed with a 4,500mAh battery. Its 3C certification revealed that it may ship with a 65W fast charger. These specs suggest that it will be rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo.
The listing further states that the OPPO K9 Pro will be debuting in three options in China such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It may arrive in three colors such as Glacier Overture, Obsidian Warrior, Neon Silver Sea. The listing states that it will be available for purchase from Sept. 24 in China.

It appears Amazon is not done taking over our homes seeing as the e-commerce giant has announced its own TV lines dubbed the Fire TV Omni Series and Fire TV 4-series. With these new products, Amazon is challenging established TV brands such as Samsung, Sony, LG, TCL, and Hisense. Let’s not forget brands like Xiaomi, realme, and OnePlus.
Fire TV Omni Series
The Fire TV Omni Series will be available starting on October 27, and when it launches, buyers will be able to pick it up in 43”, 50”, 55”, 65”, and 75” sizes, all of which have a 4K resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Digital. The more premium 65” and 75” models also have Dolby Vision.
The designs of the TVs are a bit different but they are not unlike what we have seen from other brands. Amazon has adopted the same design for the 65” and 75” models with bezels that measure just 1.1mm in size while the other smaller models have a less-premium appearance.
Fire TV Omni Series 75”
Fire TV Omni Series 43”
The Omni Series have hands-free Alexa support, so you don’t need the remote to watch your favorite content. All you have to do is call on Alexa to play your favorite show or movie, or control that smart appliance, thanks to the built-in microphones. If you are concerned about privacy, Amazon has added a switch that electronically disconnects the microphones. The Omni series also supports two-way video calling with Alexa Communications but you will have to purchase separately a compatible webcam.
1 of 2
All of the Fire TV Omni Series TVs have Bluetooth 5.0, 3 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI eARC 2.1 port, 1 USB port, an ethernet port, cable/antenna port, optical port, IR emitter, and an audio jack. They also have two 8W speakers. Amazon will ship the TVs with an Alexa Voice Remote and an IR emitter.
Below are the prices for the different sizes:
43” = $409.99
50” = $509.99
55” = $559.99
65” = $829.99
75” = $1099.99
Fire TV 4-series
The Fire TV 4-series are Amazon’s more affordable line of TVs and they are available in 43”, 50”, and 55” sizes. All three have 4K LED screens with HDR 10 and HLG. They also have the same port selections as the Fire TV Omni Series and the same dual 8W speakers. So what’s different?
There is no hands-free Alexa, which means you are stuck with the Alexa Voice Remote or the Fire TV app. There is also no support for two-way video calling with Alexa Communications.
The Fire TV 4-series will also be available starting on October 27. The 43” model will sell for $369.99, the 50” model is $469.99, while the 55” model is $519.99. All of the TVs are available for pre-order now.
Amazon has not announced when and if the TVs will be available in other regions.
Lenovo has continued to expand its product lineup by making inroads into previously uncharted territory. The company recently held its 7th annual Tech World global technology event where it unveiled a slew of new products including the new Tab P12 Pro and Tab P11 5G Android tablets. The Chinese tech giant also launched a new wireless headset, the Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds.
The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds will be a decent addition to PCs and smartphones and it packs up to 25 hours of battery life, in addition to it being well-priced among its competitors. It is noted that Lenovo is debuting in the smart wireless headset segment of the accessories market and it hopes to make a strong impression with its pioneer Smart Wireless Earbuds. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.0 and can sync seamlessly with Windows and Android devices.

The new wireless headsets feature active noise cancellation (ANC) for an immersive audio experience. The ANC feature however poses a huge drain on the device battery, as the device can only offer less than 5 hours when ANC is operational. The charging case offers up to 25 hours of audio activity on a full charge, while the headset offers USB-C charging, as well as Qi wireless charging. The water resistance credentials of the new wireless headset is assured with its IPX4 rating.
The Lenovo Smart Wireless Earbuds will go on sale in the US shortly and will retail for $99, although we are not certain whether the $100 price tag also applies to the global version.
Automaker BMW is introducing some concept e-bikes that incorporate geofencing technology which enables them to ride within speed limits of city roads, while the full power of the e-bike is released on inter-city highways. These designs are concepts that may become a reality in the future, although they are not far from reality, as some of the principles are already being used with electric cars in Europe and other regions.
BMW gave us a sneak peek of two of its concept e-bikes – i Vision AMBY and Motorrad Vision AMBY. The BMW i Vision is a pedal-assisted e-bike that has a 2,000Wh battery with a driving range of 300km. The Motorrad Vision will have a throttle and footrest, just like a traditional motorbike. The two concept e-bikes will have three levels of speeds that will be adjusted for different types of roads. The first speed limit is 25kmph for bike paths, while the next is 45kmph for city roads. The e-bike concepts could achieve top speeds of 60kmph on multi-lane roads outside the city limits.
BMW i Vision AMBY
The three-speed modes offer lots of opportunities for e-bikes if they eventually become a reality. It means that users can operate their bikes on restricted roads thanks to the geofencing solution which ensures that the e-bike does not exceed the speed limit when in the city. The geofencing solution also means that such bikes would not fall outside the regulated S-pedelecs allowed to ply city roads due to their speed rating.
While it could be argued that these very fast e-bikes without geofencing if allowed into city roads, pose some threats due to drivers preferring not to abide by the speed limits. Geofencing however enforces the speed limit, thus enhancing overall safety on the road for all users. Geofencing is getting more applications especially across Europe where some cities like Amsterdam have already designated low emission zones for vehicles.
BMW Motorrad Vision AMBY
An added safety feature in the e-bike concepts is the proximity radar that will alert the rider using visual and audio prompts when a vehicle was approaching the e-bike from the rear. The concept e-bike models provide a basis for further consideration of devices that could be unveiled in no distant time.
Unlike what the first rumors suggested, Realme decided to debut in the tablet market by launching an affordable model instead of a flagship. This is the reason why it can not compete with the latest Xiaomi tablets: the Mi Pad 5 and the Mi Pad 5 Pro. It has inferior specifications, but on the other hand, it belongs to another price range which is much more interesting. A lot of people are wondering if getting a Realme Pad is enough for their needs or opting for an advanced device like the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 may represent a more valid option. That is why we decided to compare the specifications of the Realme Pad and the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has a more attractive design because it comes with a higher screen-to-body ratio. The display covers a bigger part of the front panel, while the Realme Pad has thicker bezels. On the other hand, the Realme Pad is more compact, that is the reason why it may be more interesting for those who want to use it in mobility. The thickness is practically the same: 6.9 mm, while the Realme Pad is lighter with a weight of 440 grams. Both the tablets are built with an aluminum back and an aluminum frame, but the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 offers additional features making it more similar to a PC. You can attach a keyboard to the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and it even supports a stylus for handwriting and drawing, while you do not get these features with the Realme Pad.
Display
Both Realme Pad and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 are equipped with an IPS display, but the IPS panel of the Xiaomi tablet is superior to the Realme Pad. Besides having a wider diagonal (11 inches vs 10.4 inches), it is able to show one billion colors and it supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. And that is not all: there are also the HDR10 certification and Dolby Vision support to improve the image quality. Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has an IPS panel, but the image quality is closer to an OLED display. Even the resolution is higher (2K vs Full HD). As already mentioned, the display of the Mi Pad 5 supports a stylus, thanks to an active digitizer. The Realme Pad has four stereo speakers and a 3.5 mm audio jack, while you get just four stereo speakers with the Mi Pad 5.
Specs & Software
If you need the max performance because you want to use the tablet with heavy apps or for gaming, you must go for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. It is powered by the Snapdragon 860 mobile platform which belongs to the high-end segment as it is close to the Snapdragon 865 in terms of CPU and GPU performance. The chipset is paired with 6 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Realme Pad is pretty disappointing for power users because it has a low-end Helio G80 chipset, but it is still a good chipset for the average user, paired with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Realme Pad also comes with a special version of Realme UI called Realme UI for Pad and is optimized for tablets, while Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has the classic MIUI you can also find on Xiaomi phones. Note that Realme Pad has a 4G variant, while Mi Pad 5 only comes with WiFi.
Camera
With the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, you get an entry-level camera, but it is a superior camera to the Realme Pad: we are talking about a 13 MP rear sensor that is able to record 4K videos. The Realme Pad has an 8 MP rear camera that records videos in 1080p resolution at 30 fps.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 is bigger, so you should have already expected a bigger battery. The tablet has an 8720 mAh battery with 33W fast charging, while Realme Pad has just 7100 mAh and 18W fast charging, but it still provides a good battery life.
Price
Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 carries a €260/$307 starting price in China, while Realme Pad costs just €160/$189 in its base variant. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 wins the comparison, but if you are not a power user and you do not mind about its pros, Realme Pad may be enough for you. Which one would you pick?
Realme is expected to refresh its GT lineup of smartphones as a new Realme phone with model number RMX3370 has emerged on the Geekbench portal. It is believed to be the upcoming Realme GT Neo2 and it has impressive scores.
The smartphone has 12GB of RAM, which we believe will be the maxed-out model of the smartphone. We can expect the phone to also come in an 8GB RAM option with 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 11 out of the box and is expected to run on Realme UI on top of it.
Other than this, the Realme GT Neo2 passed China’s 3C certification recently. As per the certification, it will support a 65W fast charging technology. In addition, it is tipped to house a 5,000mAh battery.
Rumors have it that the phone may come with a 6.62-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to flaunt a triple camera system with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP sensor either a macro or a depth-sensing unit.
While the Vivo X70 series was the focus of today’s Vivo launch event, the manufacturer also released details about the Vivo X70t series, though a lot of folks may have missed it.
As seen in the images below, Vivo officially confirms the existence of the Vivo X70t and the Vivo X70t Pro. It also reveals that the X70t will be powered by the Exynos 1080 processor while the X70t Pro will have the Dimensity 1200-Vivo chipset. What Vivo has done is to swap the chipsets in the X70 and X70 Pro for their t-variants.

Vivo X70t
Vivo X70t Pro
For the rest of their specs, we do not think they will be any different from those of the non t-variants considering the chipsets is the only major difference between the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60t. If there will be any other differences, they will most likely be storage and color options.
The Vivo X70 and Vivo X70 Pro have 6.56-inch displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, while the X70’s screen is flat, the X70 Pro has a curved display. There are three cameras on the standard model – a custom 48MP Sony IMX766V gimbal main camera, a 12MP ultrawide angle camera, and a 12MP portrait camera.
The Pro has the same Sony IMX766V camera but ups the resolution to 50MP, its 12MP ultrawide camera is also superior, and alongside the 12MP portrait camera, it has an 8MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. Both phones have 32MP front-facing cameras but only the Vivo X70 Pro has Vivo’s custom V1 chip.
Other features of the Vivo X70 are a 4400mAh battery, 44W fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and dual SIM support while the Vivo X70 Pro has a 4450mAh battery that also has 44W fast charging support alongside the other mentioned features. Both phones run Android 11 with OriginOS on top.
We expect the Vivo X70t and Vivo X70t Pro will launch a few months after the X70 and X70 Pro

The iPhone 13 series launch is just a few days away but the leaks are still pouring in. The latest one is an early listing and it contains details about the colors and storage variants the phones will be available in.
First reported by 91Mobiles, this listing by an unnamed Ukrainian website reveals the colors and storage variants of the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The iPhone 13 Mini will be available in two storage options – 128GB and 256GB – and Apple will launch it in six colors just like it did for the iPhone 12 Mini. Alongside Product (RED), the phone will also come in Black, Blue, Purple, Pink, and White. The iPhone 13 will be available in the same colors and storage options as the Mini model. It is interesting to see that Apple is killing the 64GB model this year.
1 of 4
For the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the website listing states that they will be available in Black, Silver, Gold, and Bronze. The pro will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options while the Pro Max will be available in 256GB and 512GB configurations. Surprisingly, there is no mention of the rumored 1TB version. However, since there is no confirmation that the info above is correct, we advise it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
The new iPhone 13 series will come with a more powerful processor, the A15. It has also been reported that the notches will be smaller before they are replaced with a punch hole in next year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max. The phones are also expected to come with bigger batteries and support for faster charging. However, just like the iPhone 12 series, these too won’t come with chargers included in the box.

Facebook and Ray-Ban’s smart glasses are finally official and it is called Ray-Ban Stories. However, there are not so many stories to tell about the glasses as they don’t feature the much-touted Augmented Reality (AR) capability. Instead, you get stylish, prescription-compliant glasses that cram a dual-lens video camera.
The glasses, called the Ray-Ban Stories bear little relationship to the well-known Facebook branding other than the packaging. There seem to be no other branding of Facebook on the product apart from the box.
The new products have been hyped previously as a great addition to the growing product lineup of Facebook, combining Facebook’s design philosophy with Ray-Ban’s excellent production record to produce devices with greater functionality and features. As was stated by Facebook CEO previously, the new smart glasses may be an intermediate offering as we inch towards full augmented reality in the nearest future. There will be more advanced models that are already in the pipeline with greater AR credentials and functionality.
The Ray-ban Stories will come in three options: Wayfarer, Meteor, and Round. Buyers also have the option of choosing the type of lenses they want with options ranging from sunglasses, clear lenses to prescription lenses. They are all equipped with a dual 5MP camera setup that can capture up to 500 photos and over thirty 30-second video clips. The battery charges via a USB-C port and will fully charge in an hour. A full charge can last for up to 6 hours.
The product carries a price tag of $299 and will go on sale from today via Ray-Ban stores and on Ray-Ban’s website. The glasses will also be available at Luxottica Retail locations including Sunglass Hut and Lens Crafters from September 14.
At the launch, Andrew Bosworth, vice president of Facebook Reality Labs in a statement explained that “Ray-Ban Stories is designed to help people live in the moment and stay connected to the people they are with and the people they wish they were with.”
Global availability details are also expected to be released in due course. We expect a decent reception for the long-awaited Facebook and Ray-Ban’s smart glasses.
The ZTE brand nubia has been lately releasing minions-themed accessories in China. Today, the company has announced yet another charger co-branded with minions in its home country. This new product is called nubia x minions 65W Biscuit Charger.
nubia x minions 65W Biscuit Charger Specifications and Features
As the name suggests, the new nubia charger looks like a biscuit, thanks to its shape and size due to the use of GaN (Gallium Nitride) instead of silicon. It is sort of similar to the OPPO 50W mini SuperVOOC charger, which is also sold as realme 50W mini SuperDart charger.
1 of 2
Unlike the OPPO charger which comes in a classic white color, the nubia charger not only looks like a minion but also supports a faster 65W charging rate and has two USB Type-C ports instead of one. Anyway, both of them have a foldable pin.
Further, the nubia charger not only supports USB Power Delivery (PD) but also other charging protocols like Qualcomm Quick Charge (QC), HUAWEI SuperCharge (SCP), HiSilicon Fast Charging Protocol (FCP), and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC). Hence, this charger can be used to charge almost all devices.
1 of 3
It comes with six layers of protection, which includes overvoltage, overcurrent, temperature, short circuit, hardware, and Reset. Lastly, this charger bears model number PA0206 and ships with a nubia x minions 100W 5A USB Type-C to Type-C cable.
nubia x minions 65W Biscuit Charger Price and Availability
The nubia x minions 65W Biscuit Charger is priced at ¥299 ($46) in China. But customers can get it at as low as ¥279 ($43) by pre-ordering. The product will go on sale from September 16.
Just like other nubia x minions accessories, we don’t think this one will make its way to international markets. Therefore, if you are interested, then you will have to import it.

The Vivo V1 Chip is Vivo’s first self-developed processor and it is present inside the X70 Pro and the X70 Pro+. The chipset has three functions – Smart Noise Reduction, MEMC smart frame insertion, and handles some tasks for power optimization. Vivo says that the chip is 100x more power-efficient than the CPU in both devices (X70 Pro and X70 Pro+).

Today, Vivo announced new X-series phones in China. The Vivo X70 series includes three devices – the standard X70, the X70 Pro, and the X70 Pro+. This post is for the topmost model, the Vivo X70 Pro+.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Design
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has a similar design to its predecessor but with some slight changes. It still has a centered punch hole in the front and the camera housing is still a rectangular slab though bigger now. However, Vivo has added a sheet of ceramic called the Ceramic Cloud Window to the right of the camera housing. This sheet of ceramic has a mesmerizing effect when it reflects the sky.
The phone comes in three colors – black, blue, and orange. The black variant is covered in glass while the orange and blue variants are covered in plain leather.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Specs
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has a 6.78-inch 2K (3200 x 1440) display. The 10-bit panel is Samsung’s E5 AMOLED and it has a 120Hz variable refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1500 nits, 300Hz touch sampling rate (1000Hz max). The display has received an A+ certification rating from DisplayMate.
There is a Snapdragon 888+ processor under the hood and it is paired with LPDDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Buyers will be able to pick up the phone in three configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
There are four cameras on the back of the phone and all of them are equipped with optical image stabilization. The sensors include a 48MP micro-pan-tilt ultrawide angle camera with 360° Horizontal Levelling Stabilization so even if you rotate the phone while recording, you still get a stable video. There is also a 50MP Samsung GN1 main camera, a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait camera, and an 8MP telescope camera that brings 5x optical zoom and 60x super zoom.
Vivo says that the X70 Pro+ uses a Low-Dispersion High-Transmittance Glass Lens for its main camera. This type of glass is found only in high-end SLR lenses. The Vivo X70 Pro+ also comes with four classic ZEISS lenses that allow users to capture portrait images in different styles. The lenses are the Contax Biotar, Contax Distagon, Hasselblad Planar, and Olympia Sonnar. All of the Vivo X70 phones come with a ZEISS T* coating to reduce ghosting. The Vivo V1 ISP chip is also present inside the phone.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has a 4500mAh battery capacity with support for 55W flash wired charging just like its predecessor. However, it now adds support for 50W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. Seeing as Vivo now has a phone with wireless charging support, it is no surprise that it has announced a wireless charger. The vertical wireless charger pictured below is inclined at a 60° angle and features multiple charging coils at the top and bottom. It also has air vents on the rear for cooling and a breathing light in front.

Apart from smartphones, Xiaomi is also known for its smart televisions. The company’s TVs are cheaper than the models offered by traditional TV brands with a similar set of features. However, that comes with a caveat in China in the form of advertisements in software.
Xiaomi Mi TV LUX 82-inch 4K
Mi TVs and Redmi TVs in China run MIUI for TV based on Android. Whereas, in international markets, the company uses Android TV. In India, the firm’s televisions also come with PatchWall launcher, which offers one of the best user experiences on smart TVs.
Another difference is that Xiaomi does not show advertisements in global markets. On the other hand, the MIUI for TV in China throws ads as soon as the television boots up. Previously, these ads were even unskippable.
Apart from boot advertisements, MIUI for TV also shows other types of ads like banners and pop-ups. These can be frustrating when you are navigating through the UI.
Hence, during a recent Q&A session held by the Xiaomi TV team, a user asked the company to delete ads from its televisions with discontent. To this, the firm’s execs simply replied that they are working hard to balance advertising and user experience as much as possible for better service.
Xiaomi Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition
The statement from Xiaomi clearly suggests that it does not have plans to remove ads from its televisions in China for now. Hopefully, the company does not bring these practices to global markets.
Xiaomi has been always known for its hardware, however, the same cannot be said about its software. MIUI was one of the best Android skins in the past. But in recent years, its quality has degraded due to bugs, optimizations, advertisements, and slower update delivery.
With growing international presence and competition, Xiaomi surely needs to up its game in the software department. Fortunately, the company has already started working on it by promising three OS updates and four years of security patches for the upcoming Xiaomi 11T series.
Nvidia has recently launched new versions of the its RTX 3000 series of GeForce graphics cards. This included the RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti. While the latter is one of the most powerful GPU currently in the market, it launched with 12GB of VRAM despite various rumors going around that stated it had 20GB of VRAM. But now, new information recently surfacing has revealed that the 20GB variant is actually real.
RTX 3080 Ti
The news arrives from a tweet from @momomo_US, which shared a new listing on TechPowerUpthat showcases a Gigabyte Aorus GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Xtreme (GV-N308TAORUS X-20GD) GPU that features 20GB of GDDR6X memory. The first reports of this 20GB version had appeared back in December 2020 in an EEC listing from Gigabyte. Comparing the model Aorus RTX 3080 Ti that is currently available in the market, the only real difference between the two cards is the VRAM and most other aspects like clock speeds for the memory remains the same.
Although, the 20GB model does feature a smaller memory interface. The packaging and the CPU-Z screenshot show a 320 bit memory bus on the 20GB RTX 3080 Ti over the 384 bit interface in the 12GB version. In other words, the higher memory version would;ve offered lower memory bandwidth. As of right now, this rare 20GB version is in the hands of a Russian cryptominer that somehow managed to get the card.
Unfortunately, it is unknown what the sizeable amount of VRAM was intended for as the RTX 3080 had distinctly lower memory compared to the 3090 as it was primarily intended for gaming. Modern titles do not require such high VRAMs although certain professional apps would benefit from this boost in memory. So, it might have been the middle ground between the expensive RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 that was good for both workloads.
