Last week, Xiaomi announced its Mi Charge Turbo 30W wireless charging technology, a significant upgrade to its 20W wireless Mi Charge Turbo that it announced earlier this year. Today, OPPO announced its own 30W wireless VOOC Flash Charge technology to rival Xiaomi’s.
The new wireless charging technology will now tie with Xiaomi’s Mi Charge Turbo for the crown of highest-rated wireless charging technology.
Zhang Jialiang who heads OPPO’s Flash Charge division said at the announcement that the wireless charging technology can charge a 4000mAh battery from empty to full in 80 minutes. This is slower than Xiaomi’s own which charges a 4000mAh battery in 69 minutes.

He also revealed that the charging temperature is controlled and does not exceed 40°C. The wireless charging technology uses a custom wireless charging chip, has foreign object detection and five protections built-in.
The 30W Wireless VOOC Flash Charge technology actually charges at 20V 1.5A but also supports 5W and 10W wireless charging. OPPO said in the official press statement that it “uses real-time adjustment of the charging process and efficient charging components to ensure a more efficient and safer charging while avoiding overheating.”
Mr. Zhang said the wireless charging technology will soon appear in a commercial product but did not specify which of its upcoming phones it is.
Xiaomi has two new 5G products in China, the Mi Mix 5G and the Mi 9 Pro 5G. The company has now teased a new color option for the device on Weibo called as the ‘Dream White’. From the teaser, this color looks close to the ‘More Than White’ color of the Xiaomi Mi A3 that was recently launched in India.
This teaser also confirms that the Mi 9 Pro 5G will come with triple rear cameras arranged vertically on the left side of the device. There’s the Mi branding at the back along with the 5G logo. Xiaomi’s earlier teaser hints that this new model will bring powerful features apart from 5G. We already know that the Mi 9 Pro 5G is getting the ultra-fast 30W wireless charging but there could be more surprises in store.
Xiaomi today announced a new range of smart TVs along with a wide range of smart home products at the Smarter Living 2020 launch. Alongside all that, Xiaomi has also launched the Mi Motion Activated Night Light 2 in India, and this bulb comes with two sensors – an IR sensor and light sensors – that allows you to detect motion and the amount of light required in the room (low to dark ambient light) at that time.
It is equipped with a dark magnetic mount and a 360 rotating hinge. The minimalist and elegant Xiaomi design language trickles down to the Mi Motion Activated Night Light 2 enabling it to blend in perfectly in the home decor. It sports two brightness settings and conserves energy by shutting off in 15 seconds if no motion is detected.
It might not be the most exciting launch of the day, but it’s certainly an interesting part of today’s launches. It further bolsters Xiaomi’s already great lineup of household appliances. The Xiaomi’s new Mi Motion Night Light will be up for crowdfunding for a price of Rs. 500 on the Mi.com crowdfunding page from tomorrow at 12pm (noon) IST.
Xiaomi’s Smarter Living 2020 event today brought a number of affordable smart products to India. It includes the Mi Smart Water Purifier, the company’s first such product in India. To recall, Xiaomi does have a couple of water purifiers in China, but this looks like a brand new model that’s tailor-made for Indian customers.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Water Purifier features a three filter design, much similar to its recently launched “Lentils” Water Purifier in China. These three filters work together to purify water in five stages. In the first two stages, the PPC filter clears out any large and visible particles in the water along with residual chlorine, odor, and color. The RO filter removes heavy metals and other organic materials in the third stage. The fourth stage involves the PAC filter removing odor and also improving the taste of the water. In the final fifth stage, UV light kills the remaining bacteria and viruses inside the water with 99.9% efficiency.
While this three-filter design ensures clean and safe drinking water, the real highlight of the Mi Smart Water Purifier is its smart capabilities, not usually found in this segment. Xiaomi’s Mi Home app can give you an exact picture of what’s happening inside the Purifier. You can monitor the water level in the tank, keep a track of the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level of the water inside, as well as the lifetime of each filter, in real-time.
The Mi Water Purifier also comes with a DIY filter replacement design which ensures you don’t have to worry about additional annual maintenance costs. Xiaomi’s water purifier is priced at Rs. 11,999 ($167) and will go on sale from September 29 in India via Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home stores.
Xiaomi Mi Water Purifier
It looks like Xiaomi is finally bringing its smart products, which are extremely popular in China, to the Indian shores. Alongside this new Purifier, the company also announced the new Mi Band 4 and four new extremely affordable large screen Mi TVs in India.
Xiaomi India has just announced four new Mi TV models in India at the company’s Smarter Living 2020 event. Three of these represent Xiaomi’s new and premium line of smart TVs, and Xiaomi’s calling them the Mi TV 4X line. They feature the best specs on any Xiaomi Mi TV yet. The other fresh launch is the more budget oriented Mi TV 4A, which has a bigger focus on being affordable ala previous Xiaomi Mi TVs.
Mi TV 4X 65-inch, 50-inch and 43-inch
The Mi TV 4X series of TVs all come with ultra-slim 11mm bezels and an aluminium finish on their chassis. They’re equipped with the Vivid Picture Engine – a technology that Xiaomi has built to choose the “perfect” brightness, contrast, saturation, and other display parameters to provide what they deem as the “ultimate viewing experience”. The display can produce up to 88 per cent of NTSC colour gamut according to Xiaomi.
There’s also the brand new ‘Reality Flow Chip’, which upscales the standard 24fps content to 60fps with up to 8 million pixels. The 65-inch 4K display supports HDR, as do the smaller Mi TV 4Xs. Xiaomi’s flagship TV comes with two tweeters and two woofers, powered by DTS and Dolby Audio. Xiaomi says it supports Dolby audio content from major streaming partners.
Another highlight of the new Mi TVs is PatchWall, which integrates content from all major streaming apps, live TV feed, and other input sources, providing up to 700000 hours of content! “There is always something for everyone to watch” said Sudeep Sahu, product manager for Mi TV, while also announcing a new interface for PatchWall UI.
The new PatchWall 2.0 UI is based on Android 9 Pie, with support for Chromecast. Xiaomi is also introducing Data Saver feature with the Mi TV range, which will help users who connect their TVs to mobile data to stream content at the expense of quality. Perhaps the biggest news regarding Patchwall however is that Netflix and Amazon Prime Video are joining Xiaomi’s TV app catalogue among other apps.
When it comes to tech specs, the Mi 4X TVs are all powered by the same quad-core Cortex A55 processor and support Bluetooth v5.0 and Wi-Fi. The Mi TV 4X 65-inch costs Rs 54,999, which puts it at roughly $766. The middle of the road 50-inch variant comes in at Rs 29,999, about $418, and the 43-inch model goes for Rs 24,999, or $349.
Mi TV 4A
Alongside the Mi TV 4X series, Xiaomi also launched the cheaper Mi TV 4A 40-inch in India today. The Mi TV 4A 40-inch comes with Full HD display unlike the other three Mi TV launched in India today, though most of the other features on the device are in-line with the higher end Mi TV 4X series.
The Mi TV 4A still comes with support for Xiaomi’s PatchWall 2.0, allowing it access to the plethora of programs available. As expected, this also means that the Mi TV 4A comes with Android 9.0 out-of-the-box. The Mi TV 4A even gets the same 20W speakers Dolby+ DTS-HD audio deal out of this. Really, the only thing it seems to lack is the 4K resolution.
The Mi TV 4A launches in India with a price of Rs 17,999, or about $250. Alongside all the other Mi TVs launched today, the Mi TV 4A will go on sale in India on September 29 midnight across various retail platforms including Mi.com and MiHome stores. Xiaomi also announced a new Black coloured version of the Mi Soundbar and it can now be controlled via a dedicated remote for Rs. 4,999 ($70).
Xiaomi’s latest fitness tracker band, the Mi Band 4, which was launched in China a few months ago, has now been finally launched in India as Mi Smart Band 4. However, the Indian unit comes with a few differences compared to the Chinese variant.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a 0.95-inch display with 120 x 240 pixels resolution. The display is 39.9 percent bigger compared to its predecessor and is using AMOLED color screen. There’s also a 2.5D scratch-resistant tempered glass on the top.
The display is also capable of showing application notifications, including SMS, WhatsApp messages, fitness details, calls, among others. It can also control smartphone’s music playback as well as Xiaomi’s smart home ecosystem devices.
The device is water resistant up to 5ATM (50 meters) and comes with an upgraded 6-axis high-precision sensor that intelligently recognises different type of swimming strokes including Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly stroke, and Medley. It can also track six different sport modes, which includes indoor running, outdoor running, exercise, swimming, cycling, and walking.
It also comes with a heart rate sensor as well as several tracking features such as step counting and sleep monitoring. As for the connectivity feature, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy (LE). The device is powered by a 135mAh Li Ion polymer battery which the company claims can offer 20 days of usage on a single charge.
The device is a bit different from the one launched in China as the Indian variant lacks the microphone as well as NFC support. The Chinese unit has a microphone that enables users to make use of the smart assistant, which is not present in the Indian unit.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4 is priced at ₹2,299 (approximately $32) and will go on sale in India from 19th September through Amazon.in, Mi Home, and Xiaomi Online Store. The company is also offering different color options for the strap, which includes Black, Orange, Violet, and Purple.
We have already reviewed the Mi Band 4 fitness tracker, which you can read here.

Xiaomi officially released three new smart hardware products today. First up, we’ve got Xiaomi’s new XiaoAI Speaker, the latest in the company’s line of smart AI-powered speakers. Next up, we have the XiaoAI Speaker PRO, a more powerful version of the normal speaker. Then finally, we’ve got the AC2100 Wi-Fi router. So, let’s take a closer look at all these devices.
XiaoAI Speaker and XiaoAI Speaker Pro
Xiaomi’s latest XiaoAI Speaker has a simple white mesh design, very similar to their previous smart speakers. It even retains the same rectangular prism design. On the top are the controls which include the play/pause button, volume control buttons and the microphone mute button. Aesthetically, it’s almost identical to the previous speaker.
It comes with a Hi-Fi audio processing chips, as well as a 360-degree sound field and professional DTS tuning. The smart speaker’s main function is its ability to control several smart home products. Xiaomi says it can control up to 5000 different smart home products. It is able to connect to these products via Xiaomi Bluetooth Mesh Gateway.
For example, it can connect to the Mijia Bluetooth Temperature and Humidity sensor and you can ask the speaker what the temperature or humidity is and it will get the readings from the sensor. That way, you don’t have to get up to check the readings on the sensor or open the Mijia app to view the readings.
So, what exactly sets the Pro apart from the standard XiaoAI Speaker? First off, the Pro features a black colour scheme over the standard’s white. On top of that, the Pro also has support for Xiaomi’s IR remote, allowing for easier control over Xiaomi’s large variety of household products. The normal XiaoAI Speaker will set you back at 269 yuan ($38), while the Pro costs a slightly higher 299 yuan ($42).
The Xiaomi AC2100 Wi-Fi router supports IPV6 and is optimized for Xiaomi’s Smart Home infrastructure. Xiaomi router AC2100 comes equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port and Gigabit dual-band Wi-Fi, 4 high-performance gain antennas and 6-channel signal amplifiers, a dual-core CPU and 128MB of built-in memory. There’s even a built-in NetEase UU accelerator, which can improve gaming performance on consoles.
As previously stated, the AC2100 is equipped with a dual-core four-thread 8800MHz high-speed CPU, as well as 128MB RAM and 128MB flash memory, allowing for more devices to connect smoothly at the same time. The built-in high gain antennas are precisely designed to avoid the performance impact caused by incorrect antenna placement.
The Xiaomi router AC2100 integrates 2-way and 4-way power amplifiers and low-noise amplifiers in the 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless chips to improve signal penetration and coverage. The whole machine adopts a three-dimensional heat dissipation structure, and the air convection channel cooperates with the large area heat sink to effectively reduce the chip temperature.
There’s even Wave2 Mu-MIMO (multi-user, multiple-input and multiple-out) technology on board, which allows multiple terminals to communicate at the same time. Finally, the router is equipped with an LDPC (Low Density Parity Check Code) error correction algorithm to enhance data anti-interference ability and improve transmission efficiency.
The Xiaomi AC2100 is also relatively cheap at a mere 229 yuan, which is about $33. All three of these devices will go on sale over at Xiaomi.com, Tmall, Jingdong Mall and their official stores starting at 10:00 on the 20th of this month, and they’ll also begin shipping right after that. Stay tuned on Gizmochina.com for all your Xiaomi news.

UPDATE: The company’s CMO Francis Wang has confirmed that the Realme X2 is indeed the rebranded model of the Realme XT for the Chinese market.
Realme has announced that it will be hosting a launch event in China on 24th September where the company will launch the Realme X2 smartphone. The company has also confirmed that the phone will feature a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup.
Looking at the teaser poster shared by the company and the 64MP quad-camera setup features, the upcoming Realme X2 seems like a re-branded version of the Realme XT smartphone that was launched in India a few days ago.
When Realme entered the Chinese market a few months ago, the company had launched Realme X Lite, which was a re-branded version of the Realme 3 Pro smartphone in the Indian market.
However, there’s a possibility that the Realme X2 could be the Realme XT 730G that the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth teased during the Realme XT launch and revealed that it will be launched in India in December.
If the Realme X2 is the re-branded Realme XT, then we know what to expect from it since it has already been launched in India. It features a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display with waterdrop notch, Full HD+ screen resolution, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 AIE octa-core processor, with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The quad camera system on the phone comes with 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 main lens, 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, 2-megapixel dedicated macro camera and 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s also a 16-megapixel front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calling.
Running on Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0.1, the smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and VOOC 3.0 fast charging support. The Realme XT 730G is expected to have the same configuration, except for the chipset which will be Snapdragon 730G.
OPPO has already confirmed that the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone — OPPO Reno Ace, will go official in its home country China on 10th October. Further, the company has also revealed that it will come with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging support.
Today, the company has taken to Weibo to reveal more details about its 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging technology. In the teaser video, OPPO claims that this new fast charging technology can fully charge the upcoming Reno Ace smartphone in just around 25 minutes.
The 65W fast charging support for the Reno Ace is much higher than what the competition is currently offering. Vivo recently launched the NEX 3 series smartphones that have support for 44W fast charging. Huawei is currently offering 40W fast charging support for its premium flagship smartphones. While Vivo and Xiaomi have already developed 120W fast charging technology, they have not yet started mass production of the same and are yet to include it in their smartphones.
Apart from having support for the blazing fast charging technology, the OPPO Reno Ace is also expected to house a display that offers 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 855 Plus mobile platform. The other details about the phone’s specs are currently under the wraps.
OPPO recently launched the Reno2 smartphone series in India and a few days ago, the same lineup went official in China. The OPPO Reno2 is now available in China, carrying a price tag of 2,999 Yuan (~$424).
The smartphone, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, fetaures a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with notch-less appeal. It offers 20:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. There’s a quad-camera setup that includes 48-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel sensors.
It comes with a shark-fin shaped pop-up camera module housing a 16-megapixel lens with LED flash. The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that is equipped with support for VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge technology. The Reno2 comes in three color options — Luminous Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Pink.
In a couple of days, Chinese tech giant Huawei will be launching its next-generation Mate series premium flagship smartphones. Ahead of the launch, the company is teasing some of the features of the devices.
Huawei has shared a new video teaser on Weibo in which two players are playing table tennis on the side edge of the tablet. This is probably hinting at the side controls on the Mate 30 Pro, thanks to the waterfall screen design.
As for the specifications, the Huawei Mate M30 Pro is expected to come powered by the company’s own Kirin 990 chipset and an AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate display. Reports indicate that the phone will come powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging support and 27W SuperWireless charging support.
On the back of the phone will be two 40 MP camera sensors, an 8 MP telephoto lens, and a 3D ToF sensor. The smartphone is also expected to come packed with 8GB and 12GB RAM along with up to 512GB onboard storage.
It will come with IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. The smartphone is also expected to come powered by EMUI 10 custom user interface based on the latest Android 10 operating system.
Recently leaked renders of the Mate 30 Pro showcased the waterfall screen that has its edges curved from the sides, similar to what we’ve seen on Samsung‘s smartphones. Further, the render shows the smartphone having a wide rectangular notch on top of the display for housing the front-facing snapper.
On the back side, it features a circular camera module in the top-middle position, which is being referred by many as “Oreo” design. There are four camera sensors inside the housing while the LED flash is placed in the top-left corner, outside the housing.
Huawei’s Mate 30 series smartphones are all set to get unveiled at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19. Along with the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro, the company is also set to launch the Mate 30 RS Porsche Design as well.
Google has begun sending out invites for an event on October 15. Although it doesn’t specifically say what will be announced, the date confirms earlier rumors that the Pixel 4 will be unveiled on the 15th of October.
The event will hold in New York City and begin at 10 AM ET but the venue is still unknown. However, it will be live-streamed on YouTube. We expect more details to surface soon.
Alongside the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, Google should announce a couple of other hardware products and also some software announcements. For example, the Google Home Mini is expected to get a successor which may launch as the Nest Mini.
The Pixel 4 series is one of the most anticipated devices in the second half of the year most especially because of its camera performance. The new Pixels will come with a 12.2MP f/1.73 primary rear camera and a telephoto lens.
The phones will have 90Hz AMOLED displays, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS storage. They will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset which will draw power from a 3700mAh battery in the Pixel 4 XL and a 2800mAh battery in the Pixel 4.
Both phones will have an advanced face unlock system similar to Apple’s Face ID, a Soli-radar chip for hands-free gesture control, and run Android 10 out of the box. So far we know the phones will be available in black, white and coral/orange.
At Googe I/O this year, Google announced CameraX API, a sort of simpler version of Camera2 API which only requires a few lines of code to add camera capabilities to an app.
The two main benefits of CameraX API are – the fact that developers don’t have to include device-specific code in their codebase. So there are no issues of device compatibility (it is backward-compatible to Android 5.0).
The second (and bigger) benefit is the ability to get the same camera experience and features of a device’s pre-installed camera app with as little as two lines of code. So you can get features like portrait, HDR, Night mode, and beauty mode within your app.
Italian tech blog, Dr. Commodore reported that today, at the ongoing Google Developer Days in China, OPPO announced that it will make its phone’s camera features available to developers using CameraX API.
1 of 2
This means developers will be able to use the beauty and HDR mode in OPPO’s camera app. At the moment, CameraX API will be supported by the Reno 10x Zoom and the Reno 2. OPPO also shared sample photos with and without CameraX through CameraX Basic, so attendees can see the increase in quality when CameraX is enabled
Other manufacturers that have also embraced CameraX API include Samsung, LG, and Motorola.
There are plenty of charging solutions out there. If you have one device e.g. a phone, you probably use a charger it shipped with.
However, if you want to charge multiple devices, you need a charging solution that has multiple ports. I’ve been using a lot of different charging hubs both for the office and home use and for traveling. The one I’ve been using lately is made by Xcentz and I love it for quite a few reasons.
I just love the shape and size of this mini charging station. It’s made of high-quality plastic and it’s really sturdy. The top of the device has a nice frosted plastic finish and the rest of the outer shell has glossy plastic material.
Further, I like how compact this device is. It does not take much space on the table and most importantly, it fits comfortably in my travel backpack. The bottom has nice silicone padding that prevents the charger from sliding on the table or other surfaces.
We have 3 regular USB ports that each provide 2.4A of power output, 1 quick-charge 3.0 compatible port and 1 USB-C port that can provide up to 3A of power output.
It’s worth mentioning that the Xcentz charging hub has all the bells and whistles when it comes to charging safety: it’s got overcharging, overcurrent and other latest security chips inside, so you can rest assured your device’s battery will be charged safely.
All in all, the Xcentz has become my favorite charging hub for traveling because of its size, versatility, and reliability.
I’ve been using it for a couple of months now both in the office and while travelling. So far I didn’t notice any shortcomings or flaws about this device. It costs about $30 and I think it’s well worth the price.
Another year and another groundbreaking smartphone released by Vivo. After the first NEX line-up and its pop-up cameras, the Chinese giant owned by BBK Electronics just came up with an innovative smartphone once again: the NEX 3 5G. It is not just a flagship smartphone powered by a flagship chipset like the Chinese handsets focused on the quality-price ratio but has a lot of unique features that aim to revolutionize the smartphone industry.
Here, you will find the top 10 innovative features of Vivo NEX 3 5G that sets it apart from its competitors
1Vivo NEX 3 5G has a Waterfall display with special effects
Vivo NEX 3 5G is the world’s first smartphone to feature a Waterfall display. In case you have never heard about it, it is an extremely curved display on both the sides and curves close to an angle of 90 degrees. According to the company, this display reaches a screen-to-body ratio of 99.6 percent. The company invested 200 million in R&D to bring it to reality and bundles the screen with a special screen protector making it durable as well. The curved part of the display can also be used for special effects (like the sides can light up while playing music).
2No physical keys
The Waterfall display replaces physical keys with Touch Sense technology. There is also a pressure sensor array composed of 7 sensors aided by a pressure algorithm and a feature called X-Axis Haptic which provides a crisp and comfortable vibration for a lot of activities, including Touch Sense keys.
3Better vibration feedback
The X-Axis Haptic feature found on the Vivo NEX 3 5G is also able to guarantee better vibration feedback than other smartphones. So it gives a premium immersive user experience during gaming sessions and advanced feedback while typing.
464MP flagship with best-in-class hardware
Vivo NEX 3 5G is the world’s first flagship to feature a camera with a 64 MP resolution. It features the recently-announced Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor which debuted on the Realme XT and the Redmi Note 8 Pro by Xiaomi. The sensor is supported by a secondary 13 MP ultrawide lens and another 13 MP telephoto sensor.
Vivo NEX 3 5G is not just a great camera phone, but also a selfie master. Thanks to an awesome 16 MP pop-up camera which comes out through a motorized mechanism and Hyper HDR feature, it is able to maximize the dynamic range of selfies by optimizing the subject depending on the photo background.
6Front-facing LED flash
Vivo NEX 3 5G is one of the few flagships to be equipped with a front-facing LED flash. It allows shooting clear selfies even in low light conditions, although LED flash may not be the ideal way to get the best shot from its front shooter. Both the front camera and the LED flash are included in the pop-up mechanism.
One of the elements which make Vivo NEX 3 5G a complete flagship is its huge 4500 mAh which will guarantee a lot of hours of intensive usage on a single charge. The amazing battery can be recharged through a very fast charging technology boasting 45W power, the same one from the Vivo iQOO Pro.
8Hi-Fi DAC
If you choose the Vivo NEX 3 5G, you will also get an immersive audio experience thanks to the integrated Hi-Fi DAC (AK4377AECB).
95G support
As the name suggests, Vivo NEX 3 5G supports 5G connectivity thanks to the Snapdragon X50 modem integrated inside the Snapdragon 855+ chipset. It is still a single-mode modem, unlike the Huawei Mate 30 series which will be launched later this week. But it is still able to take advantage of 5G speeds giving an edge over other 4G models.
103.5 mm headphone jack
Despite boasting all the amazing features mentioned above and a pretty interesting price tag for the Chinese market, the Vivo NEX 3 5G still retains a 3.5 mm audio jack. So you can connect traditional headphones without needing an additional adapter and without resorting to the USB-C port.
11Supports Call Screening by Assistant
The Vivo NEX 3 5G also comes with a call screening feature very similar to the Google assistant. It can screen calls for you in the background, attend phone calls, and make a conversation, all on its own. The assistant is smart and designed to mimic gestures like pauses and laughs to make it sound human-like.
Overall, with top-end specs, 5G, extremely high screen to body ratio, and smart features like call screening, the Vivo NEX 3 5G takes smartphones to a whole new level.
Gionee’s return to business last week brought not only a new phone but its first smartwatch, the Smart “Life” Watch which launched under its GBuddy line. Gionee has revealed it has more products coming under its GBuddy line.
The official Gionee India website says Gionee power banks are coming soon as well as wired and wireless headphones.
One of the Gionee GBuddy power banks shown on the site has a thick body, hinting at the use of 18650 Li-ion batteries. It has a textured design at the top and bottom for a strong grip when holding.
The power bank has two full-sized USB output ports with one having a power rating of 5W 1A and the other with a power output of 5V 2.4A. There is also a USB Type-C port that doubles as an input and an output port and has a power rating of 5V 3A. The last port is a MicroUSB input port with a 5V 2A power rating. There are four LED’s above the MicroUSB port to indicate battery level while a power button sits on the far left.
The second power bank has a much slimmer design. It has a white body with a glossy silver top that is home to two full-sized USB output ports and a MicroUSB input port. It also appears to have a LED torch.
The accessories page also teases a pair of wireless over-ear headphones with a 3.5mm audio jack just in case, a pair of wireless behind-neck in-ear headphones, and a pair of wired in-ear headphones.
Gionee says all the above-mentioned products are coming soon. So keep an eye out for them.
