Last month, Oppo unveiled the Oppo Find N2 Flip in February in the global market, including India. While the company confirmed the price of the device for Europe, its cost for the Indian market was not confirmed. Today, the brand officially confirmed that the N2 Flip will be priced at Rs 84,999 (~$1,038) in India.

The Find N2 Flip is priced at Rs 89,999 (~$1,098) in India. The device can be purchased in two shades, such as Astral Black and Moonlit Purple. It is available for purchase through Flipkart and offline stores starting at 12 am on March 17 in the country. Customers can get it for as low as Rs 79,999 (~$976) through cashbacks and incentives.

Last week, the company announced the Limited Edition Pass, which brings additional benefits to those who wish to purchase the Find N2 Flip. Those who purchase the Limited Edition Pass for Rs 1,000 (~$12) via Flipkart will be among the first to lay hands on the N2 Flip. These customers can take advantage of offers like a Rs 5,000 (~$61) instant discount on select banks, such as American Express, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Kotak. In addition, there are other benefits, such as up to Rs 5,000 off on exchange and no-cost EMI for up to 9 months.

The Oppo Find N2 Flip’s external AMOLED display measures 3.26 inches and has a 720 x 382-pixel resolution, with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Meanwhile, the main display is a foldable 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, a high 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

Under the hood, the device is powered by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus processor that is paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Find N2 Flip has a top-of-the-line camera system on the back. it includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide angle camera with a 112-degree field-of-view. On the front, the device is fitted with a 32-megapixel selfie snapper.

OPPO Find N2 Flip price in India will be confirmed on March 13 in India. Ahead of the official announcement, a new leak, courtesy of Sudhanshu Ambhore, has shared key information on the price and first sale date of the device.

According to the tipster, the OPPO Find N2 Flip will arrive in a single configuration that offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The tipster claimed that the device will be priced above Rs 80,000. He added that the first sale of the device will take place on March 16.

OPPO has announced a new variant of its flip display smartphone, the OPPO Find N2 Flip, for the Chinese market. The new variant comes with a massive 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The OPPO Find N2 Flip, which was first unveiled in December 2022, has been available in China in two configurations, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. With the new 16GB RAM variant, OPPO aims to cater to customers who require even more processing power and storage space.

The new variant of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is priced at CNY 6,999 ($1,015), which is slightly more expensive than the existing 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants, which are priced at CNY 5,999 ($870) and CNY 6,399 ($925), respectively.

Although any official confirmation is yet to come from the company, tipster SnppoyTech has leaked out the global marketing material of the Find N2 Flip, indicating that the launch might be on the horizon. The leaked material has revealed many of the specifications that the device will launch with. Let’s take a look.

Oppo Find N2 Flip leaked material

Starting off, the images mention the dimension of the device which are 166.2 x 75.2 x 7.45 mm. It weighs 191 grams. The primary display measures 6.8 inches, and it is an AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution. We know that the refresh rate will be 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display of the device will be a 3.26-inch HD+ OLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

The Find N2 Flip global model will have a back-mounted dual-camera system that has been calibrated for Hasselblad. It will contain an 8MP ultra-wide sensor in addition to a 50MP primary camera sensor. The back camera will offer 4K HDR video recording and ultra-night photography. A 32MP front camera will be available for taking selfies.

The battery on the gadget will be of 4300mAh capacity and it will charge at up to 44W. Under the hood, the device will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In November this year, the Oppo Reno 9 series made its debut in China, and this month saw the arrival of the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip foldable phones in the home market. A recent leak claimed that the Find N2 Flip will be released on the global market in 2023. A new report by Pricebaba has revealed the launch timeframe of the Reno 9 series as well as Find N2 Flip for the Indian market.

According to the publication, Oppo has started testing the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Find N2 Flip in India. The report also states that the three devices should make their debut in India by the end of Q1.

Unfortunately, the report does not say anything about the specifications of the Reno 9, 9 Pro, and N2 Flip for the Indian market. The specifications of their Chinese editions are known since they are already available for purchase in China.

The Reno 9 series has the Reno 9 Pro+, which is powered by the low-frequency version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. At present, there is no evidence on whether the Reno 9 Pro+ as well as the Find N2 will be made available in markets outside of China.

The Reno 8 featured the Dimensity 1300, while the Reno 9 is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G. We found it be a boring phone as it offers little to no upgrades over the Reno 8. Hence, it remains to be seen whether the same device will be heading to India.

Samsung is the only brand offering a clamshell phone with a foldable display in markets outside of China. The Huawei P50 Pocket flip phone with foldable screen is also available outside of China. However, its availability is limited to Europe. Hence, the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which is expected to get a wider release, will be a major rival for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 or the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is expected to release in August 2023. The N2 Flip is likely to be priced lower than Samsung’s Z Flip.

Oppo has just announced its latest generation of foldable smartphones in its home country of China. The two new foldable phones include the Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip. The former is a direct successor to the original Find N, while the latter is a new Flip model. So let’s have a look.

Oppo Find N2

The Find N2 is the higher end model between the two and features a dual display setup. The foldable smartphone has a notebook like inward folding design for its primary display while the external panel is a smaller regular screen. The rear sports a triple camera setup on the rear, with the Hasselblad branding. The dimensions of the design include 132.2×72.6×14.6mm and it weighs the 237 grams.

The primary display is a tall 7.1 inch 120HZ LTPO display that has a 1920 x 1792p resolution, while the outer panel is a 5.54 inch panel with a Full HD+ resolution. Both of these are AMOLED displays and support HDR10+. Under the hood, the Find N2 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that will be paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The new flagship foldable phone will be powered by a 4,520mAh battery pack that supports up to 67W fast charging.

On the rear, the Find N2 features a triple camera setup that consists of a 50 megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor, paired with a 48 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 32 megapixel telephoto shooter that offers 2x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the front houses a 32 megapixel dual camera setup, with the two 32 megapixel selfie cameras being housed in both the internal and external display. This device also houses the company’s proprietary ISP, which is the MariSilicon X that was co developed with Hasselblad. The device also runs on Android 13 OS based ColorOS 13 out of the box.

The Chinese smartphone maker didn’t just launch a successor to the Find N, but even launched its very own Flip model as well. Similar to the Moto Razr or the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, the company has launched a clamshell like folding handset. The foldable phone also has twin displays, but the cover display offers fewer functionalities like notification browsing and acting as a camera viewfinder for both the front and rear cameras. There are various other functions as well, but the main highlight of this phone is undoubtedly its flip folding screen.

The main screen is a 6.8 inch 120Hz AMOLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution, HDR10+, and DCI P3 color gamut, while the external panel is a much smaller 2.26 inch 60Hz OLED display that has a 720p resolution. The dimensions of this device are 166.2×75.2×7.45mm and it weighs just 191 grams. Under the hood, this device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC that is paired with a either 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage.

The teaser video gives a glimpse of the design of the Find N2 duo. Another image that is now doing the rounds on Weibo reveals that the Find N2’s inner display will have a punch-hole at the top-left corner. The Find N2 Flip, on the other hand, will have a center punch-hole. Both devices seem to have very slim bezels around their foldable displays. These devices seem to feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner. It can be seen that the Find N2 Flip has a SIM card slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille on the bottom edge.

Oppo Find N2 specifications (rumored)

According to reports, the Oppo Find N2 features a foldable 7.1-inch E6 AMOLED 120Hz display with a resolution of 1920 x 1792 pixels. It will have a 5.54-inch E6 AMOLED 120Hz screen on the front, which will offer a resolution of 2120 x 1080 pixels. The N2 will have a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor and a 4,520mAh battery with 67W rapid charging support.

On the inside, the Find N2 will feature a 32-megapixel camera. It will sport a 32-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. The primary camera on the back of the handset is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 lens with optical image stabilization. It will be paired with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 camera with a 114-degree viewing angle and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 telephoto camera. The device is likely to weigh under 240 grams.

However, it has not confirmed the dates yet. Panda is Bald revealed today that the event will take place on Dec. 14 and will feature the introduction of new foldables.

The tipster claimed that the Oppo INNO Day 2022 will take place on Dec. 14, and the next day, on Dec. 15, the company will take off the covers from the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip.

The company showcased a concept phone with a rollable display at the INNO Day 2020 event. Last year, it showcased a retractable camera phone and announced a couple of other products, such as the Find N foldable phone, the MariSilicon X NPU, and the Oppo Air Glass.

It is unclear whether Oppo has plans to unveil more products apart from the N2 foldables through INNO Day 2022. There is a possibility that the company may share some details about the Find X6 series, which is expected to debut in Q1 2021.

The Find N2 Flip will break cover as the company’s first clamshell phone with a foldable display. Some of its other highlights include the Dimensity 9000 chip, a large battery with fast charging support, 50-megapixel dual cameras, and a big external display. The Find N2 Flip is likely to cost less than the Galaxy Z Flip 4. While there is no word on the Find N2’s global availability, the Find N2 Flip is expected to hit the global market as early as Q1 2023.

The Find N2 will be an updated version of the Find N, which was announced in December 2021. It is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and arrive as the lightest horizontal foldable phone, weighing under 240 grams.
