Realme‘s GT Master edition smartphone series has reached a sales milestone just 12 months after its launch. Realme’s CEO Sky Li revealed on Twitter that the smartphone series has crossed the 2-million-unit mark in sales which is quite impressive.

Realme introduced the GT Master and the GT Explorer Master globally last year. Both models came with a distinctive suitcase design by Japanese Naoto Fukushawa. The inspiration for the suitcase design was propelled by peoples’ desire to travel during the coronavirus pandemic. The distinct design of both smartphones spurred their popularity and demand since they were launched. The bulk of the sales of the GT Master edition was from the GT Master. There was limited availability of the GT Explorer Master.

The GT Master is a less-expensive and smaller model than the GT Explorer Master. While the GT Master was sold for €350 (~$365), the Explorer Master had a €500 (~$521) price tag. The models feature great displays, decent cameras, high-performing chips, and extended battery life. The next Realme GT model is the GT2 Explorer Master and it is a potential flagship. It is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It has a 5,000mAh battery and will launch this month.

Smartphone brands have been trying their best to update their update your portfolio to Android 12 for months. However, none of them are yet to finish the rollout, including Samsung. On the other hand, realme was slow to begin but yesterday, the brand started rolling out the latest version of Android to 3 devices at once.

Chinese tech brand realme has begun to roll out the realme UI 3.0 stable update based on Android 12 for three of its phones, namely realme 8 Pro, realme GT Master Edition, and the realme X7 Max 5G.

All of them are popular models. The first one is a budget model, while the remaining two are mid-rangers. The trio debuted with Android 11-based realme UI 2.0. Hence, this is their first major software update.

According to the official announcement posts on realme Community, the Android 12 stable update for the realme GT Master Edition and realme X7 Max 5G arrives with firmware versions RMX3360_11.C.05 and RMX3031_11.A.22 respectively.

The brand is yet to officially announce the rollout for realme 8 Pro. Anyway, RMLeaks reports that the fresh software update for the handset comes with firmware version RMX3081_11_C.13.

The stable realme UI 3.0 update for the aforementioned smartphones is being pushed in batches. Therefore, it will take a few days to reach every unit.

The POCO X4 Pro 5G adds the HDR10 certification for great image quality on streaming platforms (as well as stereo speakers for a better audio experience), while the Realme GT Master Edition adds an in-display fingerprint reader (it is side-mounted on the POCO device). The POCO X4 Pro 5G is supposed to provide a better image quality thanks to the HDR10 certification, but the Realme handset still comes with a great display and a lot of people won’t notice the difference.

Hardware/Software

If you are looking for the device with the highest performance, then you should go for the Realme GT Master Edition without thinking twice. The reason is simple: it has a better processor. We are talking about the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, one of the best midrange SoCs, running at a max frequency of 2.4 GHz. Unlike this device, the POCO X4 Pro 5G has expandable storage, but its Snapdragon 695 5G makes it less performing. Despite the POCO handset launched in February 2022, both the phones still run Android 11 out of the box. However, they will both be updated to Android 12. The Realme GT Master Edition already started to receive a stable update in the Indian market and it will come soon in the European market as well.

Camera

If we talk about the rear cameras, then POCO X4 Pro 5G wins the comparison thanks to a better 108 MP main sensor. It is able to capture a higher level of detail in a lot of scenarios if compared to the 64 MP main camera of its rival. The secondary cameras are the same: an 8 MP ultrawide lens and a 2 MP macro shooter. When it comes to the front cameras, the Realme GT Master Edition is the king with its 32 MP snapper.

Battery

The biggest advantage of the POCO X4 Pro 5G is the presence of a bigger battery: with a capacity of 5000 mAh, it is able to last longer on a single charge. There are no important differences in terms of charging speeds because the charging technologies are similar.

Recently, Realme rolled out an early access Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 build for their budget-friendly Realme C25 devices, and now, the brand has announced Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta for three popular devices.

In a recent Tweet, Realme India announced that the Realme UI 3.0 Open Betas has now been made available for the Realme X7 Max 5G, the Realme GT Neo 2, and Realme GT Master Edition.

Users of these devices can now try out the Android 12 based custom skin before its stable release by participating in the Beta program. To join the Open Beta program, follow the instructions given below.

• Make sure you update your device to the software version specified in the Open Beta announcement post for your device.
• After installing the update, navigate to the Software Update section in the device settings and tap on the settings cog in the top right corner
• Tap on the Trial version on the following page and then select the Open Beta option
• Tap on the Apply now button on the next page and then provide all the required details to complete your application
• If your application passes Realme’s review process, you should receive the Realme UI 3.0 Open Beta release via an OTA update

Before installing the Beta update, make sure that your device is not rooted, has at least 5GB of storage free, and has at least 60 percent battery charge. Making a backup of your data is also advised to avoid data loss in case of technical difficulty. Also be warned that since its a Beta build, it might contain some bugs, and might some third-party apps might not work properly on the beta build.

A total of four smartphones were supposed to join the realme UI 3.0 Early Access program in December 2021. Users of three of these devices can already taste Android 12. At last, on the final day of the year, realme kickstarted the initiative for the fourth and the last device in the list – realme GT Master Edition.

Chinese tech brand realme has opened registrations for realme GT Master Edition realme UI 3.0 Early Access program. The company made an official announcement on realme Community.

In order to enroll in the initiative, users should be on firmware version RMX3360_11_A.08. If they are, then they can head over to Settings > Software Update > Gear Icon > Trial Version > Apply Now > Submit Detail and finish the quiz.

Applicants who get selected will receive the Android 12-based realme UI 3.0 beta update via OTA. Those who don’t get selected can try their luck during the next batch of registrations whenever that begins.

Having said that, if a user is not satisfied with the new software, then they have an option to roll back to the older realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) stable channel. However, by doing so, they not only lose access to the ‘Early Access’ channel but also have to face factory reset.

Lastly, it’s not known when the realme GT Master Edition will receive the realme 3.0 (Android 12) stable update.

In August this year, Realme launched the GT Master Edition smartphone in the Indian market. Initially, at the launch, the device was available in Voyager Grey, Luna White, and Cosmos Black. Now, an exclusive report from 91mobiles reveals that there will soon be a new colour in the palette.

According to the report, the Realme GT Master Edition will get the Daybreak Blue colour variant. The Daybreak Blue seems to be a fancy gradient color with a mix of blue and daylight. It is worth noting that this colour is already available in other regions like Malaysia where it was available from its launch.

In terms of the launch date, the report suggests that the Realme GT Master Edition Daybreak Blue will be available in India by the end of November or early December. The color will be launched in two configurations – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant.

The Realme GT Master Edition comes with a 6.43-inch display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate. The AMOLED screen has FHD+ resolution and holds a 32MP selfie sensor at the top of the screen. At the rear, it has a 64MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor.

Under the hood, the Master Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC and has a 4,300mAh battery. It has support for 65W fast charging as well. The 5G phone boots on Android 11 out of the box and has Realme UI on top of it.

While the Realme GT Master Edition had been officially launched earlier this year, it is now finally arriving in the Pakistani market. The device is currently available for pre-orders in the region, with the company even offering a free gift alongside it.

Talking about the specs of the smartphone, the GT Master Edition sports a 6.43 inch Samsung Super AMOLED display that has a resolution of 2400 x 1090 pixels. For those that prefer to wait, the Chinese smartphone maker is launching the smartphone in markets all over Pakistan on 20th November 2021. Huawei is finally back in the global market with an upper-midrange phone: the Huawei Nova 9. Unfortunately, the handset does not come with Google Mobile Services, but it has HarmonyOS on board and great specifications if we consider its listing price. Each of these handsets has its original design elements. Which one provides the best design? It is mostly a matter of tastes. With the OPPO Reno6 5G, you get a flat display and flat border just like the latest iPhones: currently, just a few handsets have this form factor in the Android world. The Realme GT Master Edition comes in a special variant called Voyager Gray sporting a leather back. The OPPO Reno6 5G is more or less at the same level in terms of image quality, but it has a lower 90 Hz refresh rate. All of the phones are equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader.

Specs & Software

Huawei Nova 9 and Realme GT Master Edition are powered by the same Snapdragon 778G mobile platform paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS internal storage. The Snapdragon 778G is a slightly better processor if compared to the Dimensity 900 found on the OPPO Reno6 5G, but this handset has a memory configuration offering 12 GB of RAM in select markets (not Europe). Al the phones run Android 11 but, unfortunately, the Huawei Nova 9 does not have Google Mobile Services due to the limitations of the U.S. ban.

Camera

The most advanced rear camera belongs to the OPPO Reno6 5G: it has a better main camera with a brighter focal aperture. But with the Huawei Nova 9, you get a better front camera.

Battery

The biggest battery is provided by the Realme GT Master Edition which should also provide a longer battery life in most scenarios. OPPO Reno6 5G and Huawei Nova 9 have smaller 4300 mAh batteries, but they provide the same charging speeds as the Realme GT Master Edition thanks to 65W and 66W fast charging.

Price

The price of the OPPO Reno6 5G for the global market is €499/$570, just like the Huawei Nova 9. The Realme GT Master Edition starts from €349/$400 but you can find it for less than €300 thanks to online street prices. Given that there are no important differences between these three handsets, the Realme GT Master is the device offering the highest value for money and it even comes with a bigger battery. But you should not underestimate the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE: with a thickness of just 6.8 mm, it is one of the thinnest last-generation phones and even one of the most lightweight ones. Further, it has the IP53 certification making it dust resistant and splash resistant.

Display

On the paper, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE sports the most advanced display. Its AMOLED panel has a diagonal of 6.55 inches and it is able to show up to one billion colors. It sports the HDR10+ certification, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision enhancing the image quality. The Realme GT Master Edition has a higher 120 Hz refresh rate and it is more interesting for gamers, but it does not show one billion colors and it does not support HDR10 and Dolby Vision, that is the reason why Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE should provide a superior image quality. Note that Realme GT Master Edition has an in-display fingerprint reader, while Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE does not. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is the only one with stereo speakers.

Specs & Software

The hardware departments of Realme GT Master Edition and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE include a Snapdragon 778G mobile platform with a max frequency of 2.4 GHz, good for gamers and advanced users, but not a flagship chipset. The Realme GT Master Edition wins the hardware comparison because it offers up to 12 GB of RAM, while Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has a max of 8 GB of RAM. Naturally, this applies only if you choose the most expensive variant of the Realme GT Master Edition. Both the phones run Android 11 with a highly customized user interface on top, and they have fast UFS storage.

Camera

The Realme GT Master Edition and the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE are more or less at the same level when it comes to the rear cameras. The only difference in terms of hardware is the macro camera: you get just 2 MP with the former and a 5 MP telephoto macro lens with the latter. On the other hand, the Realme GT Master Edition has a better front camera with a resolution of 32 MP.

I personally prefer the Realme GT Master Edition due to its faster charging technology and original design in its leather version, but Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE provides a better display, as well as the IP53 certification, powerful stereo speakers, and a sleeker body. Last month Realme announced the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition, a special variant of GT Master Edition in China. A month after its initial launch, the smartphone has been spotted on the Google Supported Devices list and Google Play Console listing. 

According to images shared by tipster Mukul Sharma aka Stufflistings, the smartphone with model number RMX3366 has appeared on the list of Google Supported Devices and the Google Play Console listing, suggesting an immitent launch in India and other global markets. The tipster also shared an image clicked by RMX3366, aka Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. We could expect an official announcement from Realme soon.

The Google Play Console listing shows that the RMX3366 runs Qualcomm SM8250 aka Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. It is expected to come with 12GB of RAM. Further, it would feature a display having a resolution of 1080×2400 with a pixel density of 480ppi. It will be running Android 11 with RealmeUI 2.0 skin.

Last month, Realme announced that the GT Master Explorer Edition crossed 100 million Yuan worth of sales (~15 million US Dollars) in just one second.

These three devices share a lot of things in common: they come with similar specifications and they are sold in the same price range. The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G is the most advanced camera phone of this comparison. Its 64 MP main camera is the only one to support OIS. Battery

Handset maker realme has finally launched the realme GT series in India after teasing it for a while. The brand has brought two models to the country, namely realme GT  (review) and realme GT Master Edition (hands-on). Let’s take a look at what these smartphones have to offer and how much they cost in the region.

realme GT, realme GT Master Edition Specifications & Features

The realme GT and the realme GT Master Edition flaunt a 6.43-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The panel covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 98% of the NTSC color gamut. It has a peak brightness of 1000 nits, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, and a single punch-hole at the top left corner.

Just like the display, the rear camera setup is also identical on the two. Both sport a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro shooter. However, for selfies and video calls, the vanilla GT uses a 16MP snapper, whereas the Master Edition has a 32MP sensor.

Now, talking about the major difference, the realme GT is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset as compared to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC present inside the realme GT Master Edition. The former comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage but there’s no information on the type of RAM and storage included with the latter.

On the connectivity front, the duo supports dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and NFC. Further, the realme GT has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as dual stereo speakers. The realme GT Master Edition, on the other hand, lacks both of these features. Anyway, the duo arrives with all the essential sensors like an in-display fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, and gyroscope.

Although the two run realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and support 65W SuperDart fast charging protocol, the standard model is backed by a 4,500mAh battery, while the Master Edition gets its energy from a slightly smaller 4,300mAh battery.

These phones measure around 8-9mm in thickness and weigh about 170-190g. They come in glass and vegan leather finishes. Last but not least, the leather finish on the Master Edition has a suitcase-inspired design.

The new leak reveals that the Realme GT will be arriving in India in two choices such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. It will come in three colors like Dashing Blue, Dashing Silver, and Racing Yellow. The leak has no information on the pricing of the Realme GT 5G. Considering that it claims that the Realme GT 5G will be priced under Rs 30,000 (~$404), it is likely that the Realme GT could be priced around Rs 35,000 (~$471) in the country.

Coming to the Realme GT Master Edition, it will arrive in two options such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. Possibly, the two variants could be priced at Rs 25,999 (~$350) and Rs 27,999 (~$377), respectively. Its color variants include Cosmos Black, Voyager Grey, and Luna White. Lastly, the leak claims that India will not be receiving the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition.

The Realme GT 5G and GT Master Edition will be berthing in the Indian market on August 18, with sales commencing via Flipkart thereafter. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth had hinted at the August 18 India launch date during the last edition of AskMadhav on YouTube. The company has today officially confirmed, via their listing on Flipkart, the date for the unveiling of the two devices.

The Realme GT 5G comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, while the GT Master Edition will be powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset. There had been rumors that the India launch will also include the Realme Master Edition Explorer with Snapdragon 870. However, today’s announcement indicates that the Master Edition Explorer is not berthing in India, at least at the moment.

The Realme GT Master Edition packs up to 12GB of RAM together with 7GB of virtual RAM. Two variants are available in terms of RAM/ internal storage. The base model has 8GB/128GB of RAM/internal storage, while the higher model has 12GB/256GB of RAM/internal storage. The smartphone will run on Android 11 together with the Realme UI 2.0.

The front-facing and rear camera systems of the device consist of a 32MP front camera, a 64MP rear camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. The camera setup combines to give videos and pictures of decent quality. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor, impressive speakers, and it supports 5G connectivity. The Realme GT Master Edition also has a 4,300mAh/4,200mAh battery that guarantees long use and 65W fast charging.

The Realme GT 5G had been unveiled in China in March, while Europe had a feel of the device in June 2021. There are no changes in the India Edition of the Realme GT 5G, as promised by Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth. It comes in 8GB/12GB of RAM variants and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. It has a 6.43-inch FHD AMOLED display and would run on the Android 11 operating system together with the Realme UI 2.0. It also comes with a quad-camera setup that consists of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro, and a 16MP selfie camera. It packs a larger 4,500mAh battery and has 65W fast charging support.

While no specifics have been mentioned as per pricing, the Realme CEO hinted that the new GT series for the Indian market may not be priced below Rs. 30,000 ($404). The fine details of the launch will be out soon as we inch closer to the d-day.

Display

On the paper, the display of the Honor 50 Pro is superior to the one of its opponent. First of all, it is wider with a diagonal of 6.72 inches. Further, it is an OLED panel that is able to show up to one billion colors, while Realme GT Master Edition stops at 16 million colors. The handset also offers a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Realme GT Master Edition has an AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate as well, but the color reproduction is more realistic on the Honor 50 Pro. The phones come with an under-display fingerprint reader for authentication. Note that the Honor 50 Pro has a dual punch hole, while its rival has just a single hole in the display.

Specs & Software

We decided to compare the Honor 50 Pro to the Realme GT Master Edition because they are powered by the same chipset: the Snapdragon 778G by Qualcomm. Alongside the Snapdragon 780G (which is not in production anymore), the Snapdragon 778G is the most powerful Qualcomm’s midrange processor. If you want something better, you have to move to the Snapdragon 800 series including flagship SoCs. The Honor 50 Pro wins the hardware comparison because it offers more RAM in its best configuration: up to 12 GB. The phones run Android 11 with Realme UI and Magic UI to customize it, respectively.

Camera

The most advanced camera phone of this comparison is the Honor 50 Pro. First of all, it has a better main sensor for the rear camera, with a resolution of 108 MP and an f/1.9 focal aperture. Realme GT Master Explorer Edition Hands-on: Hardware

The Realme GT Master Explorer Edition comes with one of the best displays on a Realme smartphone. The phone features a 6.55-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 480Hz touch sampling rate. It also features 10240 levels of brightness adjustments and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness. Overall, this is a flagship-grade display in 2021.
As for the cameras, the new Master Explorer edition model features a capable IMX766 50MP primary shooter, the same as the Find X3 Pro. This CMOS sensor is a class above others in the same price range. The samples from the main camera are going to be sharp and saturated. However, the 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor is rather average for this price segment. 

Coming to the main hardware, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition gets the second-best processor in 2021. In many ways, Snapdragon 870 could be the chipset of choice this year because of its better thermal management, so you can expect top-notch performance from this device. Other notable features include stereo speakers and Z-axis linear motor for solid vibration feedback. Finally, the phone comes with a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, ensuring that battery life won’t be a worry on this device.

Realme announced the Realme GT 5G flagship in China. It was made official in global markets a few months later. Realme is expected to launch the Realme GT in Q3 in India. Today, Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth took to Twitter to tease the arrival of new Realme GT series phones in India.

Sheth shared the below shown image and asked, “Which of these would you want next to be launched in India?” The Realme GT Neo has already launched in India with Realme X7 Max 5G moniker. Hence, it appears that Realme GT 5G, Realme GT Master Edition, and Realme GT Explorer Master Edition may break cover in India soon.

Probably, these devices may go official in India in the coming month. Hence, Realme India is expected to release more teasers for the upcoming GT series in the coming week.

The fastest-growing smartphone brand realme has launched two new realme GT series devices in its home country China These phones, called realme GT Master Edition and realme GT Master Explorer Explorer Edition, feature a unique suitcase-inspired design, Qualcomm chipsets, high-refresh-rate display, fast charging, and more. Let’s take a detailed look at these handsets.

realme GT Master Edition Series Specifications and Features

The realme GT Master Edition series is co-designed by Naoto Fukasawa. He is the same Japanese industrial designer who was responsible for the design of previous realme Master Edition phones.

However, unlike those smartphones, which were merely new design variants of existing models, the new Master Edition phones are new handsets by themselves.

These devices sport an identical suitcase-inspired design made out of vegan leather. They also come in a standard glass finish. The regular realme GT Master Edition comes in three options, namely Suitcase Gray, Dawn, and Snow Mountain. Whereas, the realme GT Master Explorer Edition also comes in an additional Suitcase Apricot version.

The vanilla Realme GT Master Edition features a 6.43-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display (flat) with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, punch-hole, and 1,000 nits peak brightness. As for performance, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC.

On the other hand, the realme GT Master Explorer Edition features a much powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It also flaunts a 6.55-inch Samsung Super AMOLED display (curved) with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 6,000,000:1 contrast ration, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 92.1% screen-to-body ratio, punch-hole, and 1,100 nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

For photography and videography, the cheaper model uses a 64MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup on the back and a 32MP front-facing camera. Whereas, the premium model arrives with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, 16MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.

On the connectivity front, the handsets support dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C port. Unfortunately, they lack a MicroSD card slot as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Anyway, they include all the essential sensors like an accelerometer, in-display fingerprint sensor, compass, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. Additionally, the realme GT Master Explorer Edition alone sports a dual-speaker system with support for Dolby Audio. However, both of them have Hi-Res Audio certification.

Both phones run realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 and support 65W SuperDart fast charging. The Master Edition is backed by a 4,300mAh battery, while the Master Explorer Edition houses a 4,500mAh battery.

Last but not least, the smartphones measure around 8-9mm in thickness and weigh about 174-185g.

There’s no official word on the phone’s availability outside mainland China. However, it may launch at least in India.

Realme is all set to hold a new product launch event tomorrow at 02:00 PM local time in China where the company will announce Realme GT Master Edition series phones, designed by Master Naoto Fukasawa.

The China-based smartphone maker has today shared a new teaser poster for the upcoming device which confirms that the Realme GT Master Edition will also come in a White color option. It seems to be a plain white color and the phone’s photo showcases a vertical camera module in the top-left corner with three camera sensors.

Earlier, the company had revealed a Dark Grey color option for the upcoming smartphone, describing the design as the “travel suitcase design.” The back panel of the phone has a three-dimensional 3D plain leather process, an integrated starburst lens of the same color as the body, and an aluminum alloy metal frame.

The device is the Realme RMX3361 which was recently approved by TENAA. In terms of specifications, the smartphone is expected to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate.

In the camera department, the device is said to boast a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 selfie camera and a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup which also includes an 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The device runs the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Realme UI 2.0 custom interface and packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging technology.

The phone will reportedly come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There’s also another variant (Realme RMX3366) with a 6.55-inch AMOLED Full-HD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 870 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage.

A tipster from China (via) has shared a screenshot of a retailer listing of the GT Explorer Master Edition. It has revealed the pricing of the base model of the phone.

As can be seen in the screenshot, the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition is mentioned with a pricing of 2,999 Yuan (~$463) for its 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, which appears to be its base variant. Its TENAA listing has revealed that it will be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.

Realme GT Explorer Master Edition specifications

The Realme GT Explorer Master Edition will be arriving with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. It is a curved edge display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Snapdragon 870 chipset powers the device with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It comes preinstalled with Android 11 OS, and it is backed by a 4,300mAh battery that offers 65W fast charging.

The company has confirmed that its rear camera setup is pioneered by an OIS-assisted Sony IMX766 50-megapixel camera. It is assisted by a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel lens. For selfies, it has a front camera of 32-megapixel.

A few weeks back, leaks came up for the Realme GT Master Edition smartphone. Later, the phone got a launch date i.e. July 21st, and only recently, rumors revealed that there would also be another higher-end sibling dubbed Realme GT Explorer Master Edition. Although some of its specs have been already revealed, a fresh screenshot of the phone’s settings page shows some more details.

According to the picture, the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition runs on Android 11 out of the box. It seems to boot Realme v2.0 UI on top of it. The device is confirmed to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, and it will have 12GB of RAM. The smartphone also seems to have a virtual RAM feature of up to 3GB.

As learned earlier, the phone’s model number is RMX3366, and it supports DC dimming feature. While the screenshot from the Weibo leaker reveals the specs, a render leak from OnLeaks showcase the phone in all its glory and further confirms the GT Master series’ monikers.

The device looks identical to the Realme GT Master Edition but has pill-shaped LED lights. It is worth noting that the GT Master edition has the RMX3361 model number. Regarding its specs, the device would be a mid-range phone with Snapdragon 778G and 8GB of RAM. The phone will feature a 120Hz screen similar to the Explorer Master Edition. It is expected to boast 64MP triple rear cameras and a battery capacity of 4,300mAh.

Realme is all set to announce the Realme GT Master Edition series on July 21 in China. Recent reports have revealed that the lineup will have two phones such as GT Master Edition and GT Explorer Master Edition. Today, the company confirmed that the latter will come equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chip.

China’s TENAA certification database has two new Realme phones such as Realme RMX3366 and RMX3361. A recent leak by OnLeaks revealed that the RMX3366 will be the GT Explorer Master Edition model, while the latter will be the GT Master Edition phone.

The RMX3366’s TENAA listing that was spotted last month revealed that it is equipped with a 3.2GHz octa-core processor. Later, multiple leaks claimed that the device could be equipped with the Snapdragon 870. Today, the company finally confirmed that the phone will indeed feature the SD870 chip. The image shared by the company shows the phone sporting a dual-curved edge display with a punch-hole design.

While it is not confirmed yet, the RMX3361 is likely to arrive as Realme’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The RMX3366 and RMX3366 are packed with different specs and there is some difference in the design of both devices as in can be seen below.

After numerous leaks, we finally learned the launch date of the Realme GT Master Edition to be July 21st. Yesterday, the phone was seen in promo images along with a short teaser video. Today, the phone has appeared in a new trailer video that showcases the partnership between Realme and Naoto Fukasawa (Japan’s famous designer). It also reveals a new piece of information about the phone.

While the trailer video showcases the phone from all angles, the fresh teasers of the phone shared by Realme’s CMO look enticing. Surprisingly, both phones are said to be the upcoming Realme GT Master edition, but their rear camera islands have different designs.

According to the trailer video, the Realme GT Master Edition has a triple camera system along with a single LED flash. While the images shared by Realme’s CMO reveal that the phone has a pill-shaped LED flash and two separate LED units beneath the camera lenses.

While there’s no explanation on the same, it clearly hints at two versions of the smartphone. It is also worth noting that an unknown Realme phone with model number RMX3366 appeared in the leaks, and it could be the other version of the Realme GT Master Edition. It could be the Pro version that was tipped a few days back.

As of now, there’s nothing much to discuss other than the sturdy look of the phone. The smartphone has a taller form factor with a single-punch hole display at the front. It has horizontal bars at the back, which refers to a suitcase. It further suggests that the GT Master edition could be a good travel smartphone.

A few days ago, we reported that a source revealed that there will be two versions of the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition. We now know that alongside the Realme GT Master Edition, there will also be a Realme GT Explorer Master Edition, and here is our first look.

The Realme GT Explorer Master Edition (RMX3366) looks a lot like the Realme GT Master Edition (RMX3361), but unlike the latter which comes in only one color variant, the Explorer edition comes in two colorways as shown in the image below shared on Twitter by Steve Hemmerstoffer a.k.a. OnLeaks.

The image shows the Realme GT Explorer Master Edition has a punch hole at the top left corner of the screen. The display has flat edges and curved corners. There are three cameras on the back that includes a 64MP main camera.

A TENAA listing of the Realme RMX3366 has revealed that the explorer edition will have a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 870 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. It will also run Android 11 out of the box and have support for 65W fast charging.

The Realme GT Master Edition will have a smaller 6.43-inch FHD AMOLED display, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It has a 32MP front-facing camera and 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear cameras. Rather than a Snapdragon 870 processor, it will have a Snapdragon 778G chipset. It too will have support for 65W fast charging.

The Realme GT Explorer Master Edition and Realme GT Master Edition will be announced on July 21.

The Realme GT Master Edition is all set to launch on July 21 in China. Ahead of the launch, promo images of the phone have appeared to reveal its design. At the same time, leaked documents have appeared on Weibo to reveal its specifications.

The Realme GT Master Edition can be seen in dark gray color in the below-shown images. Moreover, the handset can be seen sporting a glass module for its triple camera system. A unique Realme logo with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa’s signature can also be seen next to the camera module. It is unclear whether this device is the Realme GT Master Edition.

The device houses a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging. It has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front-facing camera, and its rear features a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. Now, the listing has been updated with its full specifications, but unfortunately, its images are not yet available. This phone may debut as the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition along with the Realme GT Master Edition on July 21 in China.

The Realme RMX3361 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution. It is powered by a 2,100mAh (rated capacity) dual-cell battery. Its total capacity could be 4,200mAh (rated value). The device is fueled by a 2.4GHz octa-core and is expected to arrive in China in RAM variants like 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB.

The RMX3361 may arrive in storage options like 128 GB and 256 GB. The device will boot to Android 11 OS and will lack support for external storage. It has a selfie camera of 32-megapixel, and its back panel is fitted with a 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit.

The other features of the Realme RMX3361 include an in-screen fingerprint scanner and support for fast charging. The handset has 159.2 x 73.5 x 8mm dimensions and weighs 174 grams. It will arrive in white, blue, and gray color variants.

Last week, 91mobiles published a report to reveal the pricing, specifications, and renders of the GT Master Edition series phone. The specs of the phone are an exact match with the RM3361. The publication revealed some additional information such as it supports a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 778G, 65W fast charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also revealed that the device may come in three variants such as 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB. These models may cost 349 euros (~$411), 399 euros (~$470), and 449 euros (~$529), respectively.

It features a front camera of 32-megapixel, and its rear is fitted with a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) + 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera system. Xiaomi launched a couple of Explorer Edition phones with a translucent back. Probably, the GT Master Explorer Edition could be a similar offering from Realme.

Realme is expected to release teasers of the GT Master Edition one week in advance before its official announcement. Probably, the company may roll out its first teasers in the next few days and announce them by the end of the month. Another tipster has also hinted Realme GT Master Edition may debut by month-end. The Realme GT is one of the cheapest Snapdragon 888 smartphones you can get your hands on. Realme already launched two other versions – the Realme GT Neo and the Realme GT Neo Flash Edition – which are both powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chipset. It is now set to announce a 4th variant that will arrive as the Realme GT Master Edition. A new leak has now revealed that we will actually get two versions of the phones.

The source of the info is the Chinese leaker that goes by Arsenal on Weibo. According to his post, there is more than one version of the Realme GT Master Edition. He further explains that there is another version of the phone that can be called the Realme GT Pro Master Edition but that is not the official name. He concludes by saying more details will surface in the promotional materials.

We do not know the specs of this “pro” model but there is a possibility it has a Snapdragon 888 processor like the Realme GT rather than a Snapdragon 870 chipset that will come with the Realme GT Master Edition.

In June, a mysterious Realme phone with RMX3366 had appeared in the database of China’s TENAA certification site with images and full specifications. Chinese tipsters have been claiming that this device will be launching in China as the Realme GT Master Edition, and it will be powered by the Snapdragon 870. However, leaked information shared by reliable tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer yesterday claimed that the Realme GT Master Edition will be coming with Snapdragon 778G to Europe. Now, the alleged GT Master Edition has appeared on Geekbench with Snapdragon 870 chip (via).

The RMX3366 handset has been with Qualcomm’s octa-core processor that offers a base frequency of 1.80GHz. The TENAA listing of the phone had revealed that its processor offers maximum clocking speeds of 3.2GHz. The speeds suggest that the smartphone is fueled by the Snapdragon 870, and not Snapdragon 778G.

The SoC is coupled with 12 GB of RAM, and it boots to Android 11 OS. It scored 4670 points in the single-core test of Geekbench 4, and it salvaged 12,510 points in the multi-core test. Here is what a Chinese tipster said about the GT Master Edition leak that claims that it has SD778G SoC.

So, are there are two variants of the Realme GT Master Edition, one featuring the Snapdragon 870 for the Chinese market, and a European variant with Snapdragon 778G?
