Looking at the tweet, he stated that he can confirm that the Galaxy S24 Ultra model finally received notable upgrades in the display. Unfortunately, the tipster did not reveal any finer details regarding these said improvements, so the upgrades or possible new features are still unclear.

The tweet from Ice Universe is in line with our previous report. The South Korean tech giant will reportedly ship the Galaxy S24 Ultra with a new and improved M13 OLED material. This M13 OLED is likely an upgraded panel over its predecessor, which is the M12 and M11. The former is expected to be featured on the iPhone 15 while the latter is found on the existing Galaxy S23 lineup.

In other words, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a true upgrade over the current-gen Galaxy S23 Ultra. Some of the possible improvements might include overall brightness, which may cross 2,000 nits at peak. The panel could also offer better energy efficiency, helping in keeping the battery drain low. Samsung releases August 2023 security patches for Galaxy A04s and Galaxy A52s

Samsung has been busy with the release of the One UI 6.0 beta program for the Galaxy S23 series. However, they have also been releasing monthly security patches for their other devices. The latest August 2023 security patches is now available for two Samsung mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A04s and Galaxy A52s. This update does not include any new features or additions to the One UI, but it is an important security patch.

Samsung has released the August 2023 security patch for the Galaxy A04s in several countries, including the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Paraguay, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, and Panama.

Users in these regions can download the update by going to Settings> Software update> Download and Install. The August firmware version for the Galaxy A04s update is A047MUBS4CWG1.

The Galaxy A52s has also received the August 2023 security patch in Austria, Nordic countries, Luxembourg, Switzerland, South-East Europe, and Hungary. The firmware version for the A52s update is A528BXXS4EWGB.

These updates do not include the highly anticipated One UI 6.0 update. But both the Galaxy A04s and A52s are eligible for the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update, which is expected to be released at a later date, possibly next year.

Xiaomi 14 to feature the same dual telephoto combination as Mix Fold 3

Xiaomi recently launched its highly anticipated Mix Fold 3 foldable smartphone. While the excitement for the newest foldable is still going strong, news about Xiaomi’s next flagship phone has already started to surface.

The SoC is expected to be manufactured by TSMC and it will have a 1+5+2 core architecture, with one large core, five medium cores, and two small cores. This will be an upgrade from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which has a 1+4+3 core architecture.

The extra large core and the reduced small core will make the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 the most powerful Snapdragon 5G mobile platform to date. Besides this, the device is rumored to have a larger battery and fast charging at 4860mAh and 120W, respectively. 

The Xiaomi 14 series is speculated to be priced similarly to the Xiaomi 13 series. That means, Xiaomi 14’s price could start at around 3999 yuan (about $625) for the 8GB+128GB variant.

As shown in the screenshot below, an Honor smartphone identified by the model number VCA-AN00 has emerged within China’s MIIT certification database. Information from a Chinese leaker reveals that the acronym “VCA” corresponds to the internal codename of the device, known as “Victoria.”

As per a previous leak, the device could be called the Honor Magic V Slim when it arrives in the market. The device is expected to break cover in October this year.

Notably, the market offers limited options for smartphones featuring an outward folding design. In fact, aside from Huawei, no major Chinese smartphone manufacturers have introduced a device with this specific folding mechanism. Huawei’s Mate Xs 2,, unveiled in May 2022, stands as the most recent example of a smartphone offering outward folding design.

According to previous reports, the company may launch two more smartphones, such as the Honor 100 GT and the Honor X50 GT. These devices are expected to replace last year’s Honor 80 GT and Honor X40 GT.

Honor is also said to be working on its first clamshell phone with a foldable screen, dubbed as the Honor Magic Flip. The details of the device have not yet surfaced. The only thing that’s known about the device is that it will break cover in 2024.

According to the tipster Panda is Bald, the iQOO Z8 is slated for an early September release in China. Notably, the highest-tier version of the device is expected to provide users with 12 GB of RAM along with 512 GB of internal storage. For reference, the previous iteration, the Z7, which was launched earlier this year in China, offered a maximum configuration of 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

The tipster also shared key information about the color variants of the Z8. It appears that the phone will come in three shades: black, blue, and Isle of Man (green). The third color variant is expected to replace the orange version that was seen on the Z7 series.

According to other reports, the iQOO Z8 will arrive with a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For security, it will have a side-facing fingerprint scanner and it will run on the OriginOS 3.0-based Android 13.

The iQOO Z8 was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Dimensity 8200 chip and 12GB of RAM. It is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. For photography, the device will have a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS support. The other specs of the Z8 are yet to be revealed.

So far, the AI has found 19 books that may need to be removed. Some of these books are very well-known, like “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood and “The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini.

Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro will launch on September 1st globally. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Kacper Skrzypek, has appeared today to reveal the camera specifications of the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The leak suggests that the 13T Pro will be a tweaked version of the Redmi K60 Ultra, which debuted yesterday in China.

According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 13T Pro will have a 20-megapixel Sony IMX596 camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The Redmi K60 Ultra features the same selfie camera.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro’s rear camera setup will feature a Sony IMX707 50-megapixel primary camera. In comparison, the K60 Ultra has a Sony IMX800 50-megapixel main camera. Instead of the 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras available on the Redmi flagship, the 13T Pro will offer an OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide camera and an OV50D 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

The OBERT models boasted parameters ranging from one hundred million to one billion and managed to gain impressive recognition, briefly ranking fifth in the Chinese language understanding benchmark CLUE1.1 and first in the large-scale knowledge graph question-answering KgCLUE1.0 leaderboard.

AndesGPT builds upon the OBERT model, adopting various key technologies that bring about its unique features. This includes continuous learning from Chinese dialogue data, instruction fine-tuning, the incorporation of reinforcement learning with human feedback, and enhancement of the knowledge base. Such a combination of technologies makes it an ambitious project, representing the efforts of OPPO to be at the forefront of conversational AI. Notably, AndesGPT ranked fifth in the C-Eval evaluation rankings in June of this year.
